Arrived safely and all looks fine. Not started using them as yet.
These dried worms arrived quickly, well packed ,and were were very well liked by my garden birds in fact they were the 3rd box this year. A big thankyou from my birds.
Just a little bit exspecive, I have always soaked mine in small usage amounts this makes them swell and fill the Mealworms , and better for the birds and gives them some fluid .
It’s the first food the birds go for, I soak them in warm water to make them more like real worms, works every time.

They must taste very good. My garden birds eat all I put out in less than an hour. I have to feed 3 times a day. I will have to buy more shortly.

The wild birds love this stuff – maybe too much – it is costing me a fortune! 😀 I mix it with other seeds and suet but they pick out all the mealworm first. Hedgehog loves it too 😀
Nice big sturdy bucket to hold the dried mealworms which the birds devour so quickly. I am noticing I am getting more birds sitting on the garden walls in the morning waiting for their breakfast!!
I didn’t try these mealworms myself, I left that to a panel drawn from the local birdlife and the consensus is that they are very tasty and good value for money. It’s not just the early bird that gets the worm.
To be honest I never tried them but they are certainly liked by the blackbirds.
For best results soak them in warmish water for a hour before putting them out so they can be fed to chicks without danger of them choking on them
I have bought these before as the Birds prefer them to the seed,suet balls and peanuts we have in our feeders.In the summer it is wise to soak them for 1/2 hour so the Birds get moisture from them
The Blackbird & Robins in my garden hoover up the meal worms I put out, so this purchase was appreciated as the purchase through Amazon was half the price of my local shop. The two Ravens also like them!!
These mealworm are top quality. I simply add them to a resealable container and pour boiling water straight from the kettle, seal the container and leave for at least twelve hours. The worms have then rehydrated and the birds go nuts for them!
These are a quality product at a good price.
This is the second tub I have bought. The lid was broken on the first and I struggled to get into this one. Having said that, the birds love them. The smell and look are just yuk but with some gloves on to put them in the bird feeder, the birds devour them. I think it could be black birds mostly eating them but I get blue tits, great tits, long tailed tits and others I’m not sure visiting my feeders so who knows. Really well priced compared to what’s on offer in the shops so I don’t mind getting them for the birds.
A firm favourite with Mr Robin, this tub is value for money. Plastic tub is appreciated by the human.
I could have bought 1kg of this product (same make) 3 cheaper if i had known that 5 litres tub was same weight as the product in a bag. The 82 grams extra will be the weight of the tub i believe

The meal worms are very easy to handle – I throw small handfuls onto feeding areas for the birds and they seem extremely popular.

Absolutely delicious- I love a bowl of these in the morning – plenty of milk but if sugar sprinkled on top = no better way to start the day yum
I’ve ordered these many times for feeding the birds over winter. The Robins and Blackbirds love these. I think good value for money. I do wish they’d come in a recycled bag or something like that rather than the plastic tub, but might not be practical for shipping/storage.

Birds love meal worms and these are no exception, put out to many at a time and they eat the lot, some people soak them overnight but I put them out dry. Good value

I put the mealworms in a mealworm feeder and scatter some on the ground for the robins.

What can you say about mealworms, the birds especially the blackbirds and rooks love them, great value for money
It’s a big tub although the birds go through it really quickly. Seems to attract the robins quite a bit and I think some hedgehogs where the birds have dropped some on the ground. The mealworms are dried and loose in the tub. I use a cup to scoop them out and out into the bird tray.
Good product! The Birds Love these mealworms! After soaking in water for 15 mins – as recommended – softens them a little so the birds can Enjoy them Better! I bought X2 tubs. I’ll be buying more soon for the birds! Attracts a variety of birds ie Robin, black-bird, sparrows, magpies, pigeons etc. Soo V Lovely to see the birds enjoying their meal!

Wasn’t sure how big the tub would be but it’s massive, got more than I thought I would. Last ones I purchased were broken up worms however these were still whole and not in pieces. Birds love these so will def order agai

These are absolutely great for nesting birds and chicks. Just be careful as they are sold in volume 5 litres not by weight. I thought I was buying 5 kilos, my mistake as i didn’t read the description carefully enough.

Good value dried mealworms. Well packaged. Comes in sealed plastic tub which is resealable to protect the mealworms. The mealworms are good quality, you can tell from the smell. No signs of rancid or pests in the mixture etc. My garden birds are obsessed. They’ve learnt when I come out with the tub what it means. Would definitely recommend for garden feeders.
I have ordered twice from UK Pet Stores as I was pleased with this product and the seller. Product is good value for money as more expensive in the shops for less quantity. The seller sent each order in a box which was great to protect it in transit. Only downside, not sellers fault, but the lid does not seem to seal properly once opened. However the birds eat their way through the bugs quickly so they don’t last long.
This product is well-liked by wild birds, especially starlings, sparrows and magpies, etc., and is soon eaten by them in no time!

It is what it is. The price has gone up by 50p to 14.49 since the last order. Still good value but something to be watched
and mine certainly did, I couldn’t keep up with their appetites and was forever going out to feed them more. Came well packaged in a good big tub which is useful to put other bird seed in if purchased elsewhere. I would definitely buy again.

Literally a full feeder of mealworms disappears in 1-2 days and this product offers decent value for money. Im buying those worms regularly, so maybe i would prefer it to be packed in a plastic bag to save few pence, but still this is much cheaper and no different to branded feeds.
The tub this comes in (the 5l tub) is very solid and the tub itself can be reused for a long term
The tub may last a long time but the mealworms don’t….the birds love them! My lot would be happy with the tub hanging out there, I’ve had a lot of new visitors since putting these out, they all recommend them 🙂

Arrived 2 days earlier than specified. Bought the for our hens as they are difficult or very expensive to get hold of in Spain. Hens love them & will be buying more when they are eaten. Good sealable tub & no smell although tub is located in the seed bin by the hen coop.

Waiting for feedback from the birds, but early signs are favourable. Birds were initially very happy with these worms, however rumours went round that as they are from China, the Chinese government could track their movements.

If I left the whole ‘5 Litre Tub’ outside the Hedgehogs would gobble the lot.
I always sprinkle the ‘Mealworms’ in a circle on the grass – so a crowd of Hedgehogs can feed at once.
This stops the bullying which occurs if the ‘Mealworms’ are in one bowl.
However, I do put out a low – dish of fresh water for them to drink.
So I give these ‘ Mealworms’ 5 stars.
