The best vacuum cleane
Is a super good products for this price, the accessories are very helpful and he really cleans, and is not to noise. Honestly I am so happy with this product, he is cleaning the cat hair,dust,my carpet is so nice and clean:)
Great suction power! Had for a few months now and it has been working great. No issues. Would highly recommend, especially for the price if you are looking for something affordable yet strong. The cord is also retractable which makes for an even easier clean up. Also removing the inner compartments to deep clean the vacuum was very easy to do.
Good vacuum
Good vacuum, does its job. Comes with lots of heads, is the same noise level as most vacuums.
Only comes with one filter that needs replacing every now and then.
After I managed to accidentally terminate my Miele vacuum, I was going to replace it with the same make. However, looking around I found this one for 49.99 and decided to chance it. I am very impressed. Although just 700 Watts (EU restrictions) it seems as powerful as my 2,000 Watt Miele was at a fraction of the price. After using it for a couple of weeks I was going to buy a second one for upstairs but the price had increased to 63.19 . I am waiting to see if it will be reduced back to the previous price in the coming Amazon sales, and if so, I’ll have another.
For the price this vacuum is excellent value for money. Although it doesn’t have the sophistication of a Dyson, Vax or GTech to name but a few, it also doesn’t have a premium price tag.
It isn’t cordless, but the retractable mains lead is quite a generous length. The motor is powerful and the vacuum comes with a variety of attachments. I bought this primarily to use on the car, but have used it indoors as well to good effect.
My only criticism is that the hose has a tendency to detach from the metal extension pipe occasionally as the tightness of the connection basically relies on friction. I don’t find this a big deal as I’ve got used to it.
I bought this vacuum cleaner as a stop-gap measure after our Panasonic upright fell apart (literally) two days before we were moving house – and I just wanted something … anything! A month later and it’s not only still going strong, but I’m not sure it needs to be replaced. Yes, a Dyson, Shark or Miele is possibly better at picking up pet hairs etc. and the cylinder on this Amazon Basic is a little small … but the suction is phenomenal. In terms of cleaning power on hard floors it is first-rate. On carpets the ‘pull’ is so strong that it takes a bit of effort – but the results are excellent. I’ve always felt that vacuum cleaners were over priced and that you’re often just paying for the name. This model proves the point.
Great little vacuum for the price! It’s very quiet, and has decent suction on hardwood/laminate floors.
The canister is a bit small for a house, but it’s not a hassle to empty it each use. I did have to fully open it to clean inside the blue portion of hair which had gotten stuck , which i suppose could get annoying with time.
I was just able to do a full flight of stairs with the cord length but needed to switch outlets at the top.
The actual shape of the canister makes it a bit awkward/hard to balance on narrow stairs. not a problem for me but might be a consideration for others.
On carpet it does alright, but i had to spend some time (does get the dog hair up with a bit of elbow grease).
I didn’t have high expectations having owned dyson and shark vacuums in the past, so all told i’m really pleased so far. Only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is the suction strength on carpet. Will update if something changes.

Came with lots of bits I really need the instruction to find out what they are for 🙂 . The carpet from my bedroom looks brand new happy with it and highly recommend.

This hoover does suck, but in a good way!
This was an inexpensive vacuum cleaner and tbh I didn’t expect it to be as good as it is. It comes with a wide range of attachments and having used it now a few times it seems to perform well. What let’s it down is the quality and especially the length of the power cord. It’s not long enough to plug into the nearest power socket in order to vacuum the stairs. I have needed to plug it into an upstairs socket, vacuum half of the stairs then re plug it in downstairs to do the remainder. Our stairs aren’t a straight run so this maybe why it won’t reach but it doesn’t feel particularly safe as the power cord is in front of it. I have grown tired of purchasing what I feel are overpriced vacuum cleaners only to have them develop faults after a couple of years. If this lasts only half as long it’s a bargain at the price.
This has a lot of power for a little hoover. It will literally attach it’s self to the floor via suction if you use the carpet setting instead of the hard floor setting on hard floors.
Pros:

– good flexibility of the main head to move/get under sofas.
– decent size dust bin
Cons:
– some parts look and feel cheap
– attachments don’t click together instead rely on friction (which works fine but just isn’t as satisfying)
– the power cable isn’t super long (it is still completly fine just could be longer)
Overall I’m very impressed with the hoover for the price and I would it recommend.
For the money this is a outstanding hoover,it’s very powerful as in suction wise and easily gets in all the nooks and crannies… it would have been a 5 star review except for the short lead overall an excellent hoover would highly recommend.
As long as you empty it regularly and wash the filters monthly you won’t lose suction. I just wish you could take the head off and use the attachments with the longer pole.
Powerful little bagless cleaner. The cord is far too short, and the plug is very sensitive to some movement. It took several goes before the machine switched on. Easy to empty, and quite lightweight. It comes with several attachments, but only two can be stored on board this hoover. Two suction settings altered by a switch.
I absolutely loved this and would give it 5 stars, however the outer casing broke. This didn’t affect the use but contacted amazon thinking they’d give me a replacement item, however not. They would only accept a return and refund gutted

Anything but basic
I recently purchased a well known brand cylinder vacuum very similar to this. I wasn’t impressed with it’s performance so I sent it back.
After looking around and reading reviews I purchased this and I’m so glad I did. The suction is so strong it lifted my rug from the floor! I have to open the vent a little to decrease suction on hard floors. It’s pretty lightweight so easy to move around
especially handy when vacuuming the stairs. It fits nicely on each stair so you’re not trying to balance it while you clean. The bin is decent sized, not huge but I’ve vacuumed my house several times and it’s barely a third full. Nice range of attachments and retractable power cord. All in all I’m extremely impressed especially since it’s part of amazons basics range. Definitely not basic
It sucks! In a good way
This vacuum sucks! I have a variety of carpet and hard floor. On some carpets and door mats the suction is so strong lifts the carpet or sticks to the mat even if the suction valve is open. You get used to it though and shows its power. Deep pile, you get the idea that it is being cleaned because of the power. Switching to hard floor is easy and it seems to glide and pick up well.
One or two points that justify only four stars. Like others have mentioned the flex could be a bit longer and the manouverabilty is a bit of a problem but you get what you pay for. It is light enough to carry though, so working on stairs is not too much of a problem
That said, I am impressed with how powerful it is and for its price, well worth it.

This is a great little vac on all fronts, tools are better quality and finish to other vacuums, also well thought out design – especially like the ultra thin T bar head which is super nimble.

Firstly I think its important to say what vacuums I have been using. I’ve been using a shark lift away and a shark cordless . Both where fine but had faults , lift away was really heavy and wouldn’t get close enough to skirting boards , cordless was okay on hard floors for dog hairs. Both struggled with bits on kitchen floor . I got too a point where I’d had enough of having to pick bits up myself. So I decided I wouldn’t go the expensive route and I just get a cheap new vac . Well I’m very impressed , I tested this by leaving a few specks of sugar on my kitchen floor Both sharks wouldn’t pick them up , this did . It’s light, tackles anything and for the price is far superior to the sharks. The suction is amazing and its get bits out of a deep pile rug without any problem . The only thing that’s a bit annoying is the length of the cable but apart from that this is definetly a great vac.
Needed a cheap hoover as my other one broke so ordered this. For the price I’d say it is pretty good to be honest. It’s not that powerful it’s just mediocre in strength. It’s lightweight but kind of feels a bit cheap to use I’ve only used it once so can’t comment on long term use but I kind of feel like it won’t last that long but I could be wrong.
So, all the Dysons died, including the hand-held cordless, and the only other cleaner in the house was this G-Tech thing that looks like a carpet sweeper – great for floors, but I wanted to vacuum out the inside of a music keyboard or a computer case, things that require a vacuum with a hose that will fit onto the various attachments I already have. Amazon Basics to the rescue then, with this tiny little plug in bagless wonder. It’s surprisingly powerful for it’s size and the perfect strength for what I need. I managed to pull a ton of fluff out of my tech with it (keyboards in theatres accumulate a lot of fluff, you see), and it’s quiet. It’ll also be very useful for small areas around house, the stairs and so on, where you don’t want to be balancing the weight of a cordless floor cleaner. For the price, I’m seriously impressed.
Very rarely do I put such weight behind a recommendation but this is an almost flawless vacuum cleaner.
I’ve been a house owner for over 40 years and synonymous with that is owning a vacuum cleaner.
Pretty much every vacuum cleaner I’ve owned has been either over priced rubbish, or if I have such poor expectations no matter the price, low cost and rubbish.
That is I why I decided when my last vacuum cleaner that shall remain nameless died (a Hoover upright) I decided enough is enough, I’ll just buy an Amazon basics product and at least my expectations will be in line with what I get
I am pleased to say my expectations have been exceeded! Firstly, it is powerful, which I was not expecting at the price. The dust bag system hold the bag securely and although at first glance the chamber looks small in use it is a bit like the Tardis – a lot bigger capacity than you would think. The cleaner came with more accessories than I can use (my house is all wooden floors) so I can’t comment on the carpet attachment but it certainly look well made. The continuous flooring attachment is excellent as are the other nozzles. The hose is flexible and the extensions are well made metal.
Actually, the construction overall is tight and looks to be tough and hard wearing.
I could go on, in fact far more than is required. Quite honestly for what I paid for this cleaner ‘an absolute bargain’ does not even come close to describing how good it is for the price.
I recently purchased this vacuum as a quick, cheap option after moving into a new apartment. Overall, I think it’s a good vacuum, nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done. However, I did have a small issue when I first started using it, a piece of plastic came off the head. Luckily, after a few attempts, I was able to reattach it. Despite this, I still think this vacuum is a good value for the price, especially if you’re looking for an affordable option that works well.
I opted for the bagless version and I’ve been really happy with the capacity so far. The cord length isn’t super long, but I think it’s enough to clean a couple of rooms, and the vacuum itself is lightweight, so it’s easy to maneuver around. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone who needs an inexpensive vacuum that gets the job done.
Must say, for 50 sheets this is a decent machine. I’d read that it was so strong on suction that it lifts the carpet… which it does! So maybe a little too strong but that should never be a bad thing for a vacuum. Because of the powerful suction it does take a strong hand to manage but the dust etc. that it finds is superb.
Virtually all attachments (including extension pole) you’d ever need come with it and it certainly does the job. And yes, it IS BAGLESS. Really easy to empty. The cord/cable is a little too short but all in all money well spent and would highly recommend. I just threw out a Hoover upright vacuum. Why would you buy a brand name ever again?
At 49, what’s not to like … well a few things actually.
– the cord length is short, short, short so you really need an extension unless you live in a kennel
– the suction is strong, actually too strong even when you open up the suction slider thingy which, by the way, keeps sliding back down so had to gaffa tape it into place
– the dust collector is quite small so if you live in a tip, you might fill it up quite regularly
– accessories are a bit fiddly
otherwise, it’s good so far … it’s a vacuum cleaner after all. the outgoing VAX is a little better designed but at more than double the price, definitely happy to compromise. No idea why people spend hundreds on a vacuum cleaner.

As I cannot get a cable from my flat to my car I can run it with my solar generator inverter as the wattage is very low just the job.
Even after many weeks since purchase, this hasn’t lost any suction power. For a low price you can’t fault it. This isn’t a good hoover for stairs due to no handle for carrying while in use but you could always just buy a longer hose and attach it to this one.

I wanted a hoover with bags as the dust produced from bagless is a real bore. I started this hoover on the lowest suction and it has never moved from there. It is a truly awesome cleaner and lifts the car carpets up despite their fixings. Good lead length and dust free cleaning makes this cleaner a good buy!

Incredible suction power that picks everything up.
I bought this hoover as I was in need of a new one. My old Henry was not picking up all the dog hairs up anymore.
On the first time I used it the suction power was evident. I didn’t even need to turn the suction power up to the max for it to clean the carpet and flooring. I live in a gff so can’t comment on cleaning stairs with it. The power cord is long enough on it as well.
Overall I am really pleased with this hoover and the price was very reasonable as well.

Brilliant vacuum cleaner for the price. Excellent suction and easy to use loads of attachments and 5 metre cable which for me means I only have to swap it to another socket once, as i live in a flat.

I was used to a 2Kw hoover with amazing suction but that died a few years ago. I bought this Amazon machine and was surprised at the suction which is fantastic!! VARIABLE suction is brilliant. Telescopic tube is fab and easy to use. The handle end of the tube is very lightweight and lovely to use – Standard 32mm I think!. The wide floor brush unit is good quality (need to turn suction down most of the time using this). Almost all the other accessories are a waste of time – My criticisms are: Needs a horse hair round head brush (available on Amazon separately) for dusting surfaces. Cord needs to be 3 meters longer, minimum. Flexible tube needs to be longer – can’t reach top of units or curtains without carrying the machine and standing on a chair. Having said all this I think it is amazing value for money and almost as good as the machines costing a heck of a lot more – as far as I can see. Suggestion: Try this one first and then think about the expensive ones – Their tools and flashy heavy multi-control handles are a pain in the rear!

This is an excellent cleaner for the price. Very good for carpets and wooden floors strong suction for pet hairs. Lightweight good for stairs. Need to be careful when emptying as think hinges and fasteners are a bit flimsy. But overall excellent buy. Would recommend.

Brilliant machine
Not really one for writing reviews unless an item is particulary bad or has exceed expectations. In this case it is the latter. Our last machine (hoover) gave up over a month ago and I spent a good few days looking round for a replacement before I decided on a purchase. I already had the Amazon Basics 1.5L version, for use in the garage/workshop, and had had to use this machione whilst looking for a replacement. Was reasonably impressed with performance of the smaller machine so decided to order the 3.0L version, I figured that even if it was no good I’d only have spent 54 and not wasted too much money!
As it turns out, this machine is brilliant. The suction power is phenomenal! I have never had the motor speed on anything other than the lowest setting and it is still more powerful than our previous machine. I noticed that some of the reviews mention that the suction power noticeably decreases after a few months but all these reviews seem to refer to the bagless version. So far I’m well pleased with it and it does a wonderful job all round the house.
Be careful when ordering replacement bags, make sure you order bags for the 3.0L machine. Many pages state they are suitable but are often for the smaller 1.5L machine only. I have found that the Menalux 4000 bags are the correct ones and fit perfectly.
For the price a real bargain and it performs just aswell, if not better, as many more expensive vacuums.
Great little vaccum
I was pleasantly surprised by this hoover. Great suction and bag less so easy to empty. Comes with a couple of different heads too so good for different tasks. Really good quality for the price

Bought for a second home and it works just fine for small mess and general dust.

Powerful vacuum Cleane
This vacuum cleaner is very good. Powerful, has strong suction power. Easy to use. Does very good job both on hard floor and on carpet. Cord length could have been slightly longer. Strongly recommend this product. Good value for money.
for my small one bed flat? Perfec
I moved into a small one bed flat and kept sweeping with dustpan and brush, not able to keep up with dust. Bought this hoover and very pleased, suctioned up so much dirt I couldn’t believe it. Easy to empty the dirt. I have no pets but my flat is very small with carpet everywhere expect kitchen and bathroom. So its perfect buy for me. Very easy to assemble and easy instructions on cleaning it all.

Bought for my son. Suction was very good and it worked fine on the stairs as came qith different attachments. Seems good for the price

Ordered this vac after reading the reviews on Amazon and was gobsmacked when it arrived.
I never expected such a tiny (in size) vac and my first thoughts were….. this is not going to be that good especially having previously had a 2000w (this size now banned by the EU) Nilfisk vac that was beginning to show signs of fatigue after more than 10 years of use, hence looking for replacement.
Well was I surprised, talk about “blow your socks off” this vac is probably capable of not only taking your socks but your trousers as well!!
The suction on this tiny little black vac could probably clear your ear wax if you had a nozzle small enough
(Precautionary Note: Don’t try this at home, not unless you want to spend the rest of your life in the company of those guys in white coats).
It’s unbelievable in it’s suction power!
Tried it out on a fireplace rug, deep pile, it lifted that heavy rug from the floor. Nothing to complain about there although there have been some moans, by others, that it’s too hard to push.
The answer to that is very simple…..DON’T PUSH IT….. JUST PULL IT.
In conclusion I have to say that as an Amazon BASICS I cannot imagine what the Amazon DELUXE (if there is one) can do.

Good suction but drops off when the fine dust filter gets clogged. Easy to remove the filters and clean, took the fine dust filter outside to clean and then the full suction was restored. Good accessories and steel tubes but the cord is a bit short. Not too heavy to lift up the stairs to hoover which you may need to do due to the length of the cord. Overall good product considering the price.
Good little vacum
My Mrs bought this and, to be honest, I was very sceptical that it would be any good. However, for 60 it’s actually quite decent. It doesn’t have as much suction as our old Dyson (which had a replacement high power motor fitted) but it does the job and is very light / compact so it’s good for cleaning stairs.
So, is it the most powerful? Nope. Does it do the job? Yes, and it does it well. Is it well worth 60? Definitely!
Good value,easy to use and clean,short cord
Perfect for me as I’m disabled, it’s a great hover,it’s so easy to use, the hose has a button on it wich you press to make it go longer or shorter,! On other hovers when it’s time to empty you have to pull the hover apart to change the bag wich I find a right faff but when this hover fills up it’s so easy to empty just click the handle and compartment releases then hold it above the bin press release and it drops out into the bin. The only thing is the cords length is a bit short but it’s made up by the fact that the cord also winds itself back in really quickly by touch button also. So all round I think it’s a great buy! I definitely recommend
