It can take anything you can throw at it. Good performance and decent for the price.
I’ve had a few monitors ranging from 60Hz to 75Hz to 120Hz. This model is really good at 250Hz. It can take anything you can throw at it whether that’s gaming, applications for business or general use. You’ll need a decent graphics card and I use the AMD Radeon RX580 8GB OC version so running at 1080p X 1920 delivers a decent picture in Windows 10. I found that the actual speed of my PC increases over lower refresh rates. Definitely good value for money.

Very good monitor, speakers are very quiet and dull but don’t use them for anything but music while i study, overall colour accuracy is extremely good refresh rate is adequate and response time honestly makes the biggest difference in games

Very nice so far, with a couple minor caveats
Arrived a few days ago, seems great so far, feels like good quality, responsive, no dead pixels or anything.
There are only two minor disappointments so far:
– The audio quality of the speaker is very bad, so don’t plan to use it even for just watching youtube
– It does not come with a cable for the USB hub
Neither of these are problems with the core functionality but they’re worth keeping in mind.

I am in so surprised with the colour because its vibrant and saturated enough to make the images and video look perfect. The monitor is really responsive and it is very smooth when matching with my fps. In my own experience with the gaming side it definitely improved my reaction time because of the advantage of 240hz which is perfect. The viewing angles is not very good although there’s a reason why its built like that which I dont have a massive issue so overall I definitely recommend 5 stars!

Exactly what I needed
I needed a good quality monitor I could use to extend my laptop view which could be turned portrait, rather than landscape. This is ideal and comes with all the connection leads.

Best budget monitor hands dow
Best monitor ever owned. The only slight downside is there is some light bleeding on the bottom left corner but you only ever notice it if your purposely looking for it.
Good gaming desktop, not so special.
The quality is good enough, but not for what you pay. It has not showed exceptional performance, but it is a good desktop. Paying more just for the built in speaker is fine, but the overall price is not a match. Its like any other gaming desktop, however I could have got a 32inch (msi-pc world) cheaper price. Everything seems fine so far, but the only downside is being over priced for item.
Great affordable Monitors
2 of these bad boys and my system is running sweet, ultra fast response, only down side is that lower resolution , moving from a 27″ 4K monitor to this was an adjustment especially for photo editing. Sound quality from built in speakers is poor but I didn’t expect sudiphole quality, same as an average small flat tv.

Overall it is pretty decent. I can’t get 166Hz like advertised (maybe I am missing something IDK) but 144 is pretty decent anyway so I am not bothered. Additionally it came a week ealy which was pretty sweet. I currently have a dual monitor setup with these monitors and seems to work pretty well. Recommended +1
If you are looking for a very well priced 27 inch FHD monitor, let it be the 27G2U! I’ve owned it for about 8 months now and it’s been stellar!!

Be Aware
Amazing shipping, arrived 5 days early which was good.
The actual monitor is really good, easy menu, looks very nice and the design is very good.
The only problem I have is the loose power cord that goes into the monitor. When you move the monitor it can come out or move around causing the monitor to turn on and off. The fix to this is to make sure the wire isn’t being pulled down or stuck on something.

I use it for xbox one and since I switched over from the Tv I’ve seen a MASSIVE difference not only in the visuals but the performance too.
Best value for money FHD scree
This is screen is just great. This is the second one I buy and it’s a very good product. IPS panel provides very good contrast between colours and for people like me that use the screen to work and play videogames (consolle) it’s still the best flat screen you can get! Only drawback is a bit of backlight at the bottom left corner but not a main concern.

Bought this product for work and for gaming. With its resolution of 3340x1440p I am using a 3600x CPU and 5700xt gpu. There is a slight problem I am having. When I play on the max resolution I feel this slight drift when turning left or right. It may be due to the dp link cable, I’ve order a 1.4 dp.cable to see if this is the case or if it is in fact my gpu that cannot keep up with the resolution. Either way a great monitor. Bright and sharp enough and at 34 inches 21:9 it just looks fantastic! Great value at 450gbp.

Out of the box this is an impressive piece of kit and the tilt and rise on the stand are really useful and easy to use. I am not a technophobe and purchased this curved Wide Screen 34 inch monitor for my son who doesnt play highend useage PC games and mainly plays STEAM transport games online and does Google,Youtube,twitter etc. and this monitor was replacing a HD TV.
I was a little worried as the Ryzen 5 CPU and NVidia GEForce 1050Gti in the PC are not really high end and there were reviews in general on monitors liek this one requiring high end cards.However, it was easy to find a suitable resolution which is not maxing out either the card or the screen but nevertheless is so much better than the HD TV and allows for an update of the card down the line should it be necessary; future proofing to a degree. I have knocked off a star because apart from instructions to remove the unit from the box there is nothing else only a CD. I am old school and prefer written manuals even though I tend not to read them 🙂

Bought monitor to be my main monitor and I couldn’t be happier with it.
Picture quality is excellent and 144hz in games looks so smooth on it.
Stand is fully adjustable so you have it any way you won’t (vertical or horizontal)
No dead pixels when set up no faults at all.

I’ve been sceptical about curved ultra widescreen monitors (having never used one before) but rather than have two monitors on my desk I wanted one monitor and the ultra works great for work and play. Colours are great and the black level is really good. No bright spots with the backlight. Games, such as racing and RPG, are a different experience in ultra – can’t go back to a narrow screen anymore. The curved screen works great. I always play at 60hz and don’t need anything higher for stable frame rate on my 1080ti. Previously had a 144hz monitor but never used it above 60hz.

Overall, it performs well meeting the expectations of a 144hz 1080p monitor. The setting can easily be adjusted for colour sensitive work and has a good resonance time as well as clarity for gaming. The back light bleed on my monitor was the only disappointing factor but I’ve enjoyed using this monitor nonetheless.

Very good for gaming on PS5
Upgraded from a 75hz monitor so can definitely feel the upgrade when playing on a PS5 with a game that supports 120fps, which I can confirm works perfectly well whilst using the HDMI that comes with the console.
Picture quality feels nice, crisp and responsive. There’s a few colour settings in the menu so you should be able to find your ideal with some tweaking.
Menu settings aren’t too difficult to go through but not the best, the buttons at the bottom of the screen are so small that someone with bigger fingers might find it a bit fiddly. They probably should have made them normal larger buttons.
There are speakers on the back which are better than I thought they would be, but they sound quite hollow. I game with separate a headset anyway but the speakers are OK for short usage. If you want to watch a movie or listen to music, then would recommend external speakers.
For gaming (mainly CoD for me), it is very good so far. When you load up a game that supports 120fps then the monitor automatically switches over to higher refresh mode. There is also a built in crosshair option which may be helpful for some but I find it quite ugly.

I have used this monitor for work – I need high resolution for looking at architectural and technical drawings, and increasingly for videos. It’s not perfect, but its extremely good. Considering the price it’s a bargain.

Seriously good monitor, fully adjustable and perfect for what I need it for. Easy button controls and ideal for gaming. Will probably get a second one when i add to my setup.
This was my transition from a large TV to a smaller monitor on my desk and this ticked all the boxes I was looking for in terms of a great experience for mainly single player games; 4K, an IPS panel (loads better in terms of colour accuracy compared to TN’s), and low latency (1ms for an IPS panel at this price is very impressive)
60hz is also completely fine for me as well as I don’t tend play loads of multiplayer so wasn’t too worried about having higher FPS
The build quality is great and it was very easy to set up with no tools needed. The bezels stood out as there impressively thin on the sides and top compared to a lot of other gaming monitors I was looking at…
It also came with all cables needed including HDMI and DisplayPort.

The only drawbacks are it’s lack of mobility with the monitor only having the ability to tilt (no up down motion or swivel) but this wasn’t a big deal for me considering the price.
It also has very week built in speakers which do the job, but I’d recommend using headphones if possible.
To sum up if your on a budget and would prefer picture quality over a higher refresh rate – you can’t go wrong with this. It is great value for money and I’m really happy with it!

I wanted a monitor for my new computer for gaming. This is a brilliant monitor. As many YouTube reviews have said the only annoyance is the menu buttons under the screen would have been better if it was a mini joystick. Colours great, frame rate perfect. Fantastic value for money
Took me ages to finally upgrade but I’m glad I did. 144hz is honestly the new 60hz and makes almost everything you do on your pc feel so much smoother. This was the best value I could find at the time of purchase and I’m really satisfied.
Great value but average sound
I had this on backorder since December, glad I waited. This is a great value 4k monitor with speakers, I ended up paying 250, I believe it was as low as 230 around Black Friday.
I have a 12 year old Illyama 24″ which is still working and has decent speakers, the speakers on this are fine for my use but average. I have a 4k Asus and the speakers are much better but that cost about 400.
They provide a UK 3 pin cable, EU 2 pin cable, HDMI cable and Displayport cable.
There is no manual but it is pretty self-explanatory, manual available to download online.
The buttons are tiny and fiddly and the button function indicators are hard to see. I am going to stick on some laels on.
So far so good, image looks fine but I do not have a trained eye, I just need it to work.

It’s a shame as this is my 4th monitor with speakers and these are the worst. The monitor display itself is fine though, nice small bezel, same vertical footprint as my old 24″.

Fantastic Service
The monitor arrived quickly and on time. Unfortunately the wrong cable was provided in the box from the manufacturer (not the sellers fault). However, when the seller was contacted they quickly responded by email and phone to help. A new cable was sent out and everything works great. The monitor is great quality and the seller is even better. Top tier service!

Brilliant monitor, fantastic image quality, bought this size rather than having 2 separate monitors, was advised that the curved screen helps those of us with old eyes that need glasses and it really does work and looks impressive on my desk too!

Great Monito
The monitor is built to every high standard, it comes with all the cables like HDMI, Display port. However, the speakers aren’t too great, but as it’s a monitor that is respectable, as usually monitors don’t have speakers. I have had no issues with my monitor ever since my purchase. I would recommend this monitor especially for the price as it is 165hz for an extremely good price.

Bought this monitor for use with my Xbox Series X. Stupidly bought one without HDR. But the screen is fantastic. The picture looks amazing running 1440p @ 120hz. Speakers give a good sound as well. No USB sockets or headphone jack. But overall a great monitor for the price.

I love this screen. It has made my working day so much better. I also have a 32″ 4K 16:9 flat screen, and though they’re very different I like this at least as much. I haven’t tried serious gaming on it yet.

Best next gen gaming monitor for the price
Bought this to get better use out of my new Xbox series x, the difference between a 32 inch HD telly and this monitor is night and day, really happy and I doubt there’s a better gaming monitor on the market for the price. Speakers are atrocious as you’d expect, curve is not massively noticeable and it come preconfigured at its lowest settings but adjusting them is fairly easy. Stand is metal and very sturdy and versatile.

Great monitor at a good price
Bought this for my teenage son and he is very happy with the curved screen and high resolution. Easy to set up and use. One small point, the box is massive in comparison to the size of the monitor so don’t expect a massive screen when this arrives.
Great value 1080p IPS scree
Great screen, works well with my Nvidia 1660ti for 1080p gaming (mainly FPS). Massive stepup from my previous 60hz monitor. Recommended.

great budget gaming monitor, the refresh rates up to 165hz is insane for this price as well as it being curved. there is a bit of back light bleed when the whole screen is black but it doesn’t bother me too much. overall i would recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a 1080p 165hz monito

I have been using this monitor for the best part of a week and I love it! It’s very easy to use and does exactly what I want it to do and more! I’d highly suggest getting this monitor if you are looking for a medium to high ranged monitor for a fairly low price. This monitor is easy to use and can be easily personalized to fit your needs! The only con I can think of is it’s sound quality. It’s not the best, but this doesn’t bother me and I use speakers and headphones anyways. 🙂

I ended up choosing the FPS display mode that has no HDR and weak overdrive, giving lifelike colours and no noticeable smearing. This display does not forgive poor quality video, though. You will lot enjoy watching 720p. I ended up cancelling Amazon Prime and Shudder because they simply do not support 3440×1440, which is a damned shame *and entirely their fault*. There’s really no excuse, tech wise.
If you’re looking for a quality ultra wide monitor, this is an ideal buy.

It the best monitor I have ever had, the quality is excellent, the box comes with HMI and displays port cable. every corner of the monitor looks perfect and sharp.
No need to do configuration as it looks perfect as soon as is connected, 100% recommended.
1440p 100Hz ultrawide gaming on a budge
Fantastic monitor, all the same specifications as much more expensive alternatives. The 100Hz refresh rate combined with the (~) 21:9 aspect ratio really makes games more enjoyable. Great connectivity and Freesync to boot. If you are in the market for a 1440p high refresh rate ultrawide and are at all concerned with price, get this.

I used this product for Verdansk – got my K/D from 0.80 to 5.0 two months after playing on this. Especially with gamer vision (i forget whats its called – but its an option to change display settings to), I can see everything. I can even see campers in superstore from a distance! I had to travel and have temporarily been using a TV as a replacement, and I miss this monitor dearly. Its also incredibly ergonomic. I always thought back and neck pain was a necessary part of the grind, but this monitor works better than popping any painkiller. I’ve never properly used the feature where i move it from horizontal to vertical display (by literally spinning the screen), but I have seen folks do that to read PDFs, ebooks, etc. Even at 24 inches (as opposed to 27 or higher), its the best 24 inches I’ve ever had. 10/10, 5*/5*, 100%!!!!

I ordered this monitor (curved) for a good price through Amazon Warehouse, appeared brand new apart from some minor damage to the box. However, I suspect this may have been a previously returned item due to it only coming with an EU 2-pin power lead, not a problem for me as I already had a spare suitable UK power lead. The kind needed is a C5 ‘Cloverleaf’ lead, which is type commonly used for laptop chargers. Anyway, very happy with this monitor, great quality picture and I like the integration of a 4 port USB hub.
