- What is digital signal ?
The digital signal is much simpler than analog signal, it is a series of discrete pulses，representing 0’s and 1’s.
Any interference is virtually eliminated once the receiver discerns whether a “0” or a “1” was transmitted.
- Installation Steps:
1. Find a suitable place and fix the monitor on windshield or dashboard as you like.
2. Install the reverse camera by connecting the red wire to the reversing light and black wire to ground (metal part on the car).
3. Connect the monitor to the car charger and done!

Negatives … Although quite good it is overpriced even after I got a 14 discount, the screen is extremely lightweight and feels quite cheap, I have a similar sized screen which I use in a flight sim which only cost 30 and the case is metal and feels substantial. Unfortunately the wifi won’t connect to the Vox camera. The camera that is included is quite big as for its weatherproofing well time will tell. In hind site I wish I had gone down a different route with a standalone camera and one of my sim screens. In my opinion based on my findings 45 to 65 would be a fair price so if you can purchase at a lower price then I would have no hesitation in recommending. But at the listed price I don’t think it is worth it however opinions are subjective.
Fitted to my Sprinter campervan, easy to fit,good camera, would recommend this product strongly.
Easy to install. I chose to have on a feed i could control rather then be limited to when in reverse so can power on via a switch in my cab.

Always loved my parking sensors and wasn’t sure about a camera but now I have one I’m so happy with it and it’s so easy to use.
The camera is very good unless it’s looking straight at the sun. Then the picture is burnt-out. Evening and early mornings are particularly tricky. As with all cameras it gets wet in the rain then the picture is blurred and distorted. It is good at night and in low light levels. Headlights are not as problematic as the sun for some reason. This is the second camera I’ve bought as the first one failed after 14 months. Just outside the warranty period. I’m hoping that I was just unlucky and the second system will last longer.

installed in my accord and was really straight forward, as i didn’t need to do any wiring from boot to front. The build and picture quality is impressive as well, but it does come at a dearish price.
The camera and screen turning on is really quick too, soon as you shift into reverse, the display pops up instantly.

I have been using this reversing camera for a couple of weeks now and so far so good. This camera is brilliant! It’s easy to use. Parking at home on the street is a nightmare until I got this camera. It is now easy for me to park on a parallel parking because I can see clearly behind me.
You can also change the size of the guidelines depending on your vehicle which is excellent.The image on the screen is clear and superb quality my only gripe is using in a poorly lit area. The image is a bit grainy due to the fact that there’s no infrared capabilities. But over all I’m very pleased with it and I highly recommend it.

So, after contacting a local supplier and being told it would cost me over 350 to have a camera installed I decided to look at doing it myself. I did my research and went for this one. What a choice! Admittedly I had to make a bracket to fit the camera where I wanted it but the rest of the installation was so simple I had it all done in a couple of hours. I’ve put the camera transmitter behind the rear door panel so no wiring at all can be seen. I’m lucky in that my van has a 12V accessory socket in the back. As long as the camera is powered then the monitor comes on automatically. The monitor is extremely clear and there’s no wireless lag or loss of picture quality. The system arrived on time and is packaged beautifully. Definitely one to get if you’re in the market!
Installed camera on caravan number plate wired into number plate light, I always travel with lights on, works perfectly, refresh speed could be a little better ‘noticeable’ Lily in service prompt and very helpful thank you. Purchasing second camera & transmitter for the back of my VW Transporter when not using the caravan.
This camera and display unit were a very handy addition to my car as it was a long vehicle with poor rear visibility. I can say that the fitting of the monitor was a doddle which unfortunately was not the case for the rear camers. This is because you have to wire one of the cables to the reversing light. I managed but probably better done by an expert for safety. I like a challenge and also like fiddling with cars. Once fitted it really was a great piece of kit which worked really well assisting with reversing issues easily providing a nice clear picture. I also had an issue with the rear camera when I removed it to reinstall on another car. The issue was sorted by LILY from Auto-Vox the first port of call for customer service. She happily replaced the unit without any hassle. Many thanks again LILY. All in all I can sincerely recommend AUTO – VOX products. They are excellent value for money well made with quality materials and have a very, very good customer relations/support team in LILY.

Ease of installation for a novice like myself once I had identified the reversing light positive lead, added this camera to my Elldis 180 Motorhome and the positive lead is grey/green.
Screen in the drivers cabin could be a touch larger other than that it works perfectly well
The gel sucker has losts its suction having been in the sun for a few days, not sure how to refix yet.

J’ai eu un seul soucis avec l’cran il y a un peu plus de 15 jours. J’ai contact le vendeur qui m’a rpondu moins de 2 jours plus tard et une semaine aprs, j’ai reu un kit complet pour compenser, au lieu de l’cran seul car cela aurait pris entre 30 et 40 jours vu la situation actuelle. Being used to having an OEM reversing camera the getting a car without one is frustrating so I bought this to fit to the rear of my BMW 2 series. I did not want to run cabling from the back of the car to the screen so it was important to fit a wi-fi type. There are still cables to run from the camera to the transmitter, from the reversing light wire and to power the screen from the 12v socket. You need a bit of DIY skills to feed the wire and to connect to the correct wire in the rear lamp cluster but once installed the signal is strong from the transmitter to the screen. It works perfectly. You can adjust the width of the guidelines on the screen. You need to be aware that the guidelines are fixed so you don’t see the projected direction when you are turning in an arc. Other than that it is perfect for the intended use and great value for money

I ordered the AUTO-VOX CS-2 Digital Wireless Reversing Camera Kit. The delivery was excellent as it arrived the next day. Very easy to install, has a good signal and responds quickly when put in reverse with a good clear picture. I had a problem [solely my own doing] and contacted customer services who were absolutely brilliant. I’m a very happy customer who would definitely shop again and would highly recommend it.
My Mazda 6 estae has blacked out windows so I cant see to reverse. This prouct id brilliant. After getting used to it I feel I cannot do with out it. Its easy to fix . I just watched Y Tube a few times and hey presto it works. Took me two hours to fit. Most of the time wqas spent getting the plastice covering on and off the boot lid.
I was a little surprised by the high quality of the video from such a small camera. This is an excellent product and deserves every one of the 5star rating.

Have connected camera to 12v transformer powered from a PIR unit. Camera sits in a strategic position in the garage, monitor mounted on car dash. PIR activated by movement of electric garage door. Signal from camera picked up instantly, about 5 metres from garage entrance. Can navigate car into garage with millimetre precision.
The option of turning off the reversing grid guidelines has been implemented thus giving a real time, uninterrupted view of the situation.

An update to my previous review where a gave 1 star I was contacted by the Auto Vox customer service who wanted to help due to the issues I had. They said they thought the previous camera system was faulty and wanted to send me a replacement to try which I received and tried and so far it is working ok.
The customer service was 5 star but I have only given an overall 4 star due to it is early days still so haven’t used it enough to see if it remains working ok.

This worked first time and is very very clear.
One word of warning – either be very careful of the supplied electrical connectors. They are not the right size for the wire, and will in fact guillotine your car’s wire when you wire in the cam. I did this. Took it to garage who soldered the wire for me , then garage man did exactly the same thing with the remaining clip. This is the only thing I found difficult. Also buy some proper plastic ‘pry hooks’ to lever off bits of trim without wrecking them…they are available on Amazon and cost pennies.
The Company selling the Auto-Vox reversing camera contacted me and sorted out my small problem I would recommend this seller for their prompt response and products.
The Auto-Vox CS-2 was really easy to fit, took about twenty minutes to set up. My reverse parking is much easier now. Well worth the money.

Obviously no audio and it does magnifiy quite a bit, which sometimes leads to thinking you are closer than you are.

I had a slight issue with the suction cup, it had lost its stickiness/suction after about 5 months. I was put in contact with Joanne and she arranged for a new improved suction to be sent out to me special delivery and it’s solved the problem! The picture quality is great and the viewing screen is a generous size too.

Attention , ce n’est pas quivalant une camra de recul intgre car sans calculateur , pas d’indication du braquage lors de la manuvre, les lignes reste droites , mais on s’en doute bien en l’achetant !
Personnellement , c’est un complment de rtroviseur, l’affichage est permanent : j’ai coll la camra sous le par-choc arrire , son alimentation se fait sur la prise allume cigare du coffre.
Donc sans intervention de garagiste ni dmontage, elle me permet de voir les plots bas , trottoir et d’avoir une bonne vue d’ensemble de l’arrire en conduisant en marche avant comme arrire .
Pour le prix et la simplicit de l’installation , la prestation est vraiment intressante .
La nuit , l’image est comprhensible mais de basse qualit surtout s’il y a des feux d’un autre vhicule
So if you’ve already put on a dashcam then this is a really simple setup. It’s a straightforward screen that plugs into the cigarette lighter in you car, then a complete seperate setup for the rear camera meaning you can mount it onto the back of a trailer or caravan without having to have cables linking them together. The rear camera just wires into the reversing power supply so that the front screen automatically starts up when reverse is used
The camera itself is nice and clear and even though the screen is small it’s still plenty clear enough to get a good view of what’s behind

The Auto-Vox CS2 Reversing Camera only took 20 minutes to fit and i am no mechanic.With a little bit of research to locate the 2 wires you need for reversing signal.
Once this is done the rest is childs play just plug it in and your ready to go.Camera quality is excellent even in the dark.
The camera has made reversing so much easier and as for value i dont think you can get better.

I just installed an Auto Vox CS2 camera on the rear licence plate of my 2017 ford transit connect. I first attached the camera to the licence plate, then I removed the licence plate light, then I used a file to make the corner of the light opening slightly bigger to accommodate the camera cable, ran the camera cable through, then reinstalled the licence plate light. (I think that I will put some silicone around this light now just to make sure to keep water out)….I then removed the left rear lighting unit (4 screws) to get at the reverse light. All of the wires into the rear lighting unit were black, no colours at all. So I used a multimeter to find out which wire running to the reverse light was ground and which was 12v DC. …..I then ran the camera cable back through the door and into the van. I then had to run the camera cable (black and red wires) out through the rubber seal into the rear lighting unit. I had to drill a tiny hole in the rubber seal to do this. Once I had the red and black camera cables ran as far as the reversing light I attached the red camera wire to the 12v wire going into the reversing light, I then attached the black camera wire to the ground wire going into the reversing light. The Auto Vox CS2 provides you with 2 little wire taps for connecting the wires. With a second person and all the tools ready to go it took about half an hour. But It took me a lot of time online to figure all this out before hand, so I hope this can be of help to anyone trying to do this in the future. P.s. camera works just great. I just installed today so have no idea how it will work out long term. Giving 5 stars as it was easy to install and seems to work fine. Thanks

Facile raccorder bonne vision jour et nuit. Je l’ ai install sur une longue camionnette trs pratique pour se garer.
IL faut juste faire attention qu’ il y a un petit dcalage 1 seconde en reculant du fait d’ tre sans fil entre l’ cran et l’ arrire.
Useless in direct sunlight however the overall performance and quality is very good.

Une question : l’cran est-il recouvert d’un film protecteur? Un pli dans le coin suprieur droit semble l’indiquer mais j’ n’arrive pas l’enlever! Si quelqu’un a la rponse je suis preneur!
Very please wit this digital wireless reversing camera, works smoothly with my cousin’s first car. He just recently passed driving test, so I bought him this as a congratulation gift, as well as assisting him as has less confidence on doing reverse manoeuvre.
It was easy to install with no wire needed and signal was strong that my cousin has not yet reported any disconnection issues. The image reflected was clear with wide angles, even at night. It was a brilliant helper according to my cousin’s feedback. Highly recommended.

I bought this for my lwb high top transit, the instructions are easy to understand and the final product is exactly what i bought it for.
Fitting is a real easy job, the most difficult part was fitting the cable through the ducting on the transit door hinge. I did have a problem finding the correct wire… the transit layout was not how it read, if that makes sense.
The operation is so slick, many factory fitted systems are only just as good.
If you are looking for an after market reversing camera I would thoroughly recommend this one
Fairly easy to install, does the job well for the price. The distance takes a bit of getting used to but overall very happy.

FASTENED ANTENNA TO BACK OF EXISTING ACCESS PANEL WITH CABLE TIES (SUPPLIED). CAN NOW SEE ANYTHING HIDING BEHIND THE CAR.
installation took an hour of fiddling but that was more than likely the awkwardness of my van rear light housing. The picture is clear and crisp over the length of a long wheel base van.
This camera is brilliant, I purchased it for the rear of my caravan after nearly hitting a small trailer parked behind me. The time to fit it was around 50mins with a minimum of fuss, just one hole drilled for a cable and removal of number plate to fix camera plate behind it, instructions very good and very good picture, would certainly recommend.
Being digital wireless there are no long cables to run I installed without any problems worked straight away, great picture quality and doesn’t cut out. I will buy another of these soon for another motor that is just wireless and cuts out while reversing.
If you don’t have one installed by default this is highly recommended .
This product was very easy to fit. (about 1 hour) It works perfectly in my long wheelbase transit van. I have no hesitation in recommending this.
The setup was so simple I didn’t need to use the instructions, the hardest part was routing the wiring around the inside of the boot lid. I took the number plate off drilled a hole just big enough to get the cabling through and popped a little silicone over the hole just to try stop any water entering the bootlid.
Connecting the camera to the reverse lamp was easy using the supplied joing clips, I personally used a multimeter just ensure I had the correct polarity for the power and ground to connect to.
All the cabling is hidden in the back and I just need to hide the screens excess cable now but it works great in both dark and light conditions. Pop the car into reverse and the camera and screen come on, take the car out of reverse and I turns off. No signal interference or other issues to report, It just works!

the fitted reversing sensors (the sensors have a continuous note when about 24-30 inches from an obstacle, I am told the continuous tone should sound at about 12 inches but the distance is not adjustable but it is an inadvertent safety feature). I reverse up to my house wall and the Auto-Vox allows me to get close without touching both in low light and at night. The only slight problem is with picture quality because sometimes the image is “grainy” , sometimes it clears within seconds and other times it remains. This does not affect the usefulness of the product. I am happy with the unit so far and would recommend it.
Got this for my son as his car doesn’t have sensors or anything. He got it installed by someone so can’t comment on how easy it is to install yourself. The picture quality is great and I feel much more at ease. A great product, thank you.
Livr avec tout ce qui faut : cran comportant ventouse de fixation et branchement allume-cigare ; et aussi une prise USB sur ce dernier , camra avec support de fixation autocollant mais galement vissable.
Installation trs facile, il suffit de connecter la camra au feu de recul, puis de coller celle-ci sous la plaque d’immatriculation o autre emplacement. Puis on branche la prise allume-cigare de l’cran. Aucun paramtrage faire.
Allumage automatique de l’cran lors du passage en marche arrire.
La qualit de transmission sans fil est trs stable, aucun dcrochage.
Les guides apparaissent automatiquement sur l’cran. Ces guides sont rglables (voir ma vido et doc).
Comme vous pouvez voir sur ma vido en live (le volant dans une main et la camra dans l’autre… a bouge !)
La vision et vraiment parfaite on peut se fier sans problme celle-ci pour reculer sans tourner la tte. Si je l’avais eu plutt j’aurais vu la borne bton qui a dfonc mon par-choc !
Un prix trs bas quand on compare l’option d’origine pour voiture (hormis l’intgration plus finie).
Je recommande l’achat de cette camra de recul qui apporte un grand confort !
Compter 1 2 heures pour raliser l’installation et les branchements de le la camra.
En effet vous devrez connecter la camra au feu de recul de votre voiture ce n’est pas trs compliqu et ne ncessite que peu d’outillage. Je n’y connais rien et j’ai russi !
La camra se positionne au dessus ou en dessous de la plaque d’immatriculation et vous permet d’avoir une vision claire de ce qu’il y a derrire vous quand vous reculez. Il n’y a pas de fil entre la camra et l’cran, la transmission se fait grce une petite antenne.
L’cran est mont sur un support ventouse, fixer sur le pare brise ou sur le plastique de votre tableau de bord, il doit tre reli l’allume cigare. (La prise possde un port USB ce qui est un plus)
La qualit de l’cran n’est pas exceptionnelle mais elle est largement suffisante pour voir les obstacles derrire votre vhicule.
J’ai mis des photos pour que vous puissiez voir quoi le produit ressemble et une petite vido pour la montrer en fonctionnement.

I purchased this reversing camera after a different one I bought was faulty and had to be returned for a refund.
This Auto Vox CS2 ls very easy to fit and use. As I have only just fitted it I cannot comment on night vision yet as I have not been out at night.
Very good signal that makes the whole reverse image very stable and a decent quality when parking in the underground parking lot at the mall .
I’m very pleased so far with the product overall .
Was quoted 500 to have sensors put on the back of my vxr by Vauxhall dealership. So I found this camera and asked a friend to install for 30. The picture is really good quality and now I see everything
The only negative was that the suction cup kept coming off the windscreen. I cleaned it with alcohol and I bought Suction cup flat sticker plates zoso from eBay and it sticks like glue

Purchased this reversing camera in December extremely easy to fit and the wireless work perfectly, if you want a reversing camera with out the hassle of fitting wires from one end of the car/van to another this is the one. Customer service is 100% perfect in every way. (Will.)
Not too bad to install, it could of done with a longer camera cable as I had to thread it through the rear corner of my van and make a connection at the door grommet point.
Quite surprised by this – easy to fit (you probably need a multi meter to get the correct wires at the lights). But apart from that it was plug and go. Nice picture – the guide lines are fine, but I don’t see the need for them, so turn them off.
The Auto-Vox C2 is just what i needed for getting my van in an out of parking spaces, you just never know what’s behind you but now I do. I have it wired so that i can have it on all the time rather than just when i use reverse gear.
well worth the money and a great safety asset too.
Update the Screen died on me exactly one year later and I had to get another one, so fill in your warrenty etc. i did

I have had to wire it in to the inside light as I have only got a 7 pin plug no reversing light so when I need it on I just put the light on . Thank you again Tony
I am not sure what lever of DIY you need to be to install the camera by yourself, you’d basically (well, at least in the case of a Focus) need to fit the camera behind the number plate (the easiest part), then drill above it to get the cable running inside to the top & side to find the reversing light assembly. I am at a very basic DIY level, so I had a professional do the work. On my Focus I could not mount the camera at the center of the plate, as that would interfere with the boot handle (the camera isn’t what I would call “tiny”), so it went a bit to the side (doesn’t seem to make a big difference).
But the result is great, once you put on reverse, the (factory paired) monitor wakes up and shows you the camera view. Once you leave reverse, the monitor sleeps. The view itself is very clear in the day, without even using the brightness/contrast controls it has available (also mirroring option). At night, it is obviously less clear – there is no IR, it relies on its low light sensitivity and your reverse light, but it is still fine for avoiding objects.
The display holder is a “sticky” suction cup so It probably holds in some places where a plain suction cup would not.
I don’t see any issues so far, you get brightness/contrast. If it continues to work as it does now, it will have been a great buy.
A nice backup camera. Deliveries fast. Good service. It doesn’t come with too many cables compared with others. Easy to set up.The instruction is easy to understand. Also it is with 12 month guarantee which is great. It is useful for everybody especially for new drivers.
