Good for dog wee!
With a young dog that doesn’t like going outside in the dark and the pouring rain it means that she sometimes has a little accident on the carpet. We had the other version of this which just had the normal handle and that ended up getting a bit whiffy and I managed to kill it by being a little aggressive with the tap when I was cleaning it!
This one came with the smaller handle attachment which has the small tank in the handle that stops liquids getting into the main tank. It works very well and it’s also much easier to clean as you can detach the handle and clean the little tank thoroughly. My only comment would be that when you remove the ‘little tank’ handle some of the cleaning solution can drip out but it’s not a big deal. Rather typically having used this a few times the dog is now house trained.
Great cleane
This machine is really powerful. I’ve had some stains on my carpet I couldn’t get out. From my child, my old dog, and from my back door leaking. I’ve used this machine and they’re gone. It doesn’t leave your carpet soaking wet either. The cleaner solution smells nice. It is very easy to use and to empty. The tank when full covers a bigish area. I’m really impressed.
Excellent customer service
This is my second machine as the first had a faulty handle that snapped when I phones amazon customer service the problem was resolved in a matter of minutes, customer service was excellent a few days later and I received my new machine.
Amazing
Bought this in the hope of it helping my awful stairs carpet. I didnt actually think it might get any of the stains out of my very worn old carpet but it has. It’s amazing and brought it up amazingly. It’s very easy to use. Can be a bit heavy when full with water but its fantastic and great for the money.
It’s easy to use, I looked on YouTube as well as reading the instructions. Especially because I didn’t know how to open the ‘dirty’ tanks lid and found out that the handle has to be turned over to the flat side of the tank then the lid easily comes off. There is a spray button that you can push to spray the treatment water over the rug you need cleaned. Or you can hold it to scrub at the old stains out. Which I was doing in the video. The lead is long but the pipe is small and if you are cleaning stairs it’s best to have an extra hand to hold the Bissell. When I was finished with the prewash I then used the head to slowly but firmly in one direction to remove as much of the water as possible. My rug dried in less than 24hrs with the help of my dehumidifier.
Amazing spot cleane
Easy to use on all areas around your home. The clean & dirty containers are easy to change. It’s refreshing to see a dirty / boot stain or mud stain be removed before your eyes. I also washed my sofa covers & then cleaned the sides with my bristle cleaner. My 5 year old sofa looks new.
Efficient and compac
We borrow our sons Vax upright carpet cleaner when needed but now have this one for emergency spills. Its performance is just as good as the bigger machines upholstery attachment. Its great on car seats and carpets, i must admit i was influenced by “The detail geeks” Utube videos! The drill brush is the ultimate weapon used with this machine.
Review. for BISSELL SpotClean Pro
Its fine. just buy (or mix) some suplement and use hot water. you can use this recipe ( not necesarry i [personaly use common landry stuff with littlebit vinegar 🙂 enjoy it
2 tablespoons (30 ml) of liquid laundry detergent
cup (59 ml) of liquid all-purpose cleaner
1 scoop of OxiClean
1 teaspoon (5 ml) of fabric softener
1 gallon (3.8 L) of hot wate
I'm not disappointed
On receipt, I gave the sofa arms a quick spruce up. The difference was very noticable and the waste water was suitably filthy.
You don’t need to press hard or work it vigorously so the head should not need to snap. Press the button to squirt the water and firmly and calmly move the head back and forth. It works a dream.
It’s a little louder than my vacuum cleaner but it’s not excessively loud.
I recommend this machine. Top stuff.
Cracking device to have on hand at home
Decided to test this on day two after spilling soy sauce on our cream carpet! (Facepalm). Worked an absolute treat cleaning the stains and following that we’ve done a full refresh on all our carpets and they’ve come up looking great. You don’t realise how dirty the carpets really are until you use this and look at the water afterwards
This is a great machine. We had a flood from the flat roof above. We have burgandy carpet and there was a whitish deposit in it from the flood water. It was also dirty and going smelly despite drying it out withing 48 hrs. Wish I had this machine to suck some of the flood water out but at least I have it if we get flooded again. I washed just a large square to test it out and it looks great while wet. Not sure it can rescue my carpet and I will need a new one but at least it got out a whole load of dirt and whatever the whitish powdery stuff was untill I can replace the carpet.
The machine itself is small and ideal for many jobs. However, the hose is quite short when you consider how loud the machine is. You can’t escape the ear defening noise level. I had to take breaks because I have personal limitations to how much I can do. When I turned the machine off for those breaks I couldn’t hear prooerly in the ear of the side the machine was on. I teied pounting the air flow vent away from me and so on to limit the noise but it was still so very loud. Some may not mind this but some folk may find loud hoover type noises difficult.
The cord was long enough for my use. The tanks are a good size. I cleaned a large square area and only had quarter of the refuse tank filled up.
I haven’t used the small attachment as I was cleaning a larger section of carpet. Not sure I would ever need that one. I would have liked some on board storage for it but there isn’t. Not a hige deal breaker for me but I do have a habit of putting things somewhere so I don’t lose them as I might need them one day, then when that day comes it is nowhere to be found.
I read a review that said the attachment snapped under the preasure they were applying. But you shouldn’t apply preassure too much. You need air flow. You tilt it back away from the brush. If you apply lots of preasure then you cut off air flow and then there is zero suction. Same with a hoover. If you put your hand over the hose of a hoover it can’t suck air up and the motor freaks out and strains itself. Likewise with sucking up the water. You need airflow for the machine to suck upwards. Add lots of preassure and to cut off its ability. So tilt back onto the clear plastic area but don’t push down to the floor too hard.
The machine doesn’t dry the carpet. It is not a dryer. It removes liquid enough for you to be able to air dry the carpet or fabric quickly. It should take 30mins to an hour to dry a whole room carpet with doors/windows open, good air flow and not raining outside to make the air flow coming in damp. Your best way to dry fast is with carpet fans or even just fans to get air flowing around the room. A dehumidifier as well would dry things even quicker. The faster you can dry the carpet after the better results. I use a 20L per day dehumidifier and one floor fan for a medium room if doing a whole carpet.

Great Spot Cleane
Small and fairly lightweight does a great job of cleaning small spills and stains on carpet and upholstery a godsend in a house with a dog and a baby.
The brush attachments are particularly good and better than found on other similar products in the past.
Can confirm removes biscuit smudges and formula spews effectively.
Essential in a carpeted house with dogs
We have 3 dogs. 2 are poodles and our poodles have sensitive tummy, they occasionally vomit now and then. This machine is great. Not only does it save us from having to take the big carpet cleaner out for small accidents, but it also leaves the area much drier than the big Vax cleaner we have (even though that’s the latest model too). In conclusion, this is an absolutely fantastic carpet/upholstery cleaner and it’s worth every penny. Well recommended.

It’a good product but i expected more power from it.
A minus is that it doesn’t have wheels so it’s kind of hard to handle.

This little cleaner is and does exactly what it says it does. I was shocked to see how well it cleaned up the couch that I have in my man cave ( garage) . Not only does this remove coffee stains, it even removed oil stains !!!! WTF yes I said oil stains !!! Use this little wizard with the bottles of fluid that is recommended and I’m sure it will remove any stain! My only concern is do not get fooled this is not a full/large carpet cleaner. I’m sure it would clean a full/large carpet however it is too small and would take a while. Although I’m sure it would clean a full carpet if your willing to put in the time. Fantastic little machine, it has removed any stain I’ve put it up against and breathed new life into a settee that I was going to replace ( thanks Bissell you saved me a few hundred quid ) I was shocked at how well this machine removes very stubborn stains with ease, I recommend that you purchase this and use the recommended cleaning fluids ! You will not be dissatisfied!
Brilliant little machine
I thought I’d give this machine a go after reading the reviews. I must say, I’m very impressed. The photo above was a small piece off hallway carpet which didn’t look dirty at all, as the carpet is only a year old. The Pro’s definitely outweigh the cons.

I definitely recommend this product for small jobs. Definitely wouldn’t recommend for a large room carpet, as it would take way too long and you would have to keep topping up the machine. I’ve used it on my headboards, rugs and carpets and it’s done a fab job.

I would say, probably t he best hand held carpet cleaner i have used. My cats behaviour changed and she started to wee downstairs…. on the carpet, if you have a cat, and its ever weed on carpet you will know the smell…ugh. I used this BISSELL SpotClean pet pro, with the Bissell cleaner, and not only did it pick it up but the smell went too, even though i gave it a going over twice. Don’t bother using other cleaning products like Urine out, or simular products, use the bissell one, it worked for me, great little machine.
I have 2 spot cleaning Bissell machines. This one, is really good & does what it claims. Very easy to clean out the water and dirty water holders. Easy to slip the back off the suction wand and wash any stray debris off.
Powerful & can be used for a larger carpet or rug, but will take longer. A lot of the grunt work is done by the unction & potions put in the cleaner. You mix together 2 or 3 to lift a smell or a persistent mark and the final mix plus the Bissell machine clears it all. You do get the measurements of how much to mix….it states it on the bottles or the water cylinder. I found out about the mixing because my old carpet cleaner leaked all over my carpet leaving a foul smell. I am happy to report smell is gone and I am . This machine has a longer hose & wand, plus also a much longer electrical cable. These spot cleaners are fabulous, great to use on the car & home due to the smaller dimensions. This Bissell has a special head you can fit that collects a smaller amount of say puppy pee and keeps it out of the big machine collecting bucket. It has been made with the spray, brush and small collection utensil so none of the smelly or yucky stuff doesn’t have to permeate the bucket. You remove the small container, by a twist from locked to unlock then clean it out….tada!!! Bissell is a quality make and decent priced….take it from someone who bought the very 1st Vax in the 1980’s. The cleaning solutions are a little pricey, but they do work.

Great wet and dry machine
I LOVE this machine best buy ever the price reflects the quality and performance of this brand the machine came very handy for e to clean my upholstery after it got dirty by building work 2which has just been carried out in our house the builers let plenty of mess which was made easy to clean using this machine It was easy to set up the machine very clear manual and easy to manoeuvre the machine to where every needed I struggled to open the lid off the dirty water box only to realise that you have to turn the handle clockwise to open but that was my mistake so I learned from my mistake as its written on the box itself.This is a MUST have machine if you have kids very easy to clean they stains spillage and also if your potty training this is easily used to clean up the leaks on the floor sofa or anywhere in the household so high recommend thumps up from this busy mummy .

Brilliant machine, easy to use. Brushes on nozzle really help with stains. Little noisy ,but understandable due to power of motor. Only negative is extraction hose needs to be slightly longer.
Yes it’s loud, but these types of machines are.
I used 1.5 tanks to clean the seat cushions of a 7′ x 7′ corner sofa. The first image is mainly dust due to renovations.
It sprays quite a lot of solution, but it needs to. The suction is good, bit could be better in my opinion.
It does however, do the the job.
The second image is from car where I used about 1/2 tank. The seats, that were “clean” before hand resulted in the lovely small tank of what can only be describedas . So it does do the job to a satisfactory degree.
Yes, the areas Will still be damp. This is the standard result for any cleaner. You need to consider this when cleaning whatever you’re cleaning.
After, it is easy to clean. Clean warm water in the sink, or a bowl, and just vacuum it up. Easy. Empty waste tank, do it again. Elevate hose, after vacuuming clean water, then turn of the machine after say 30 seconds.
Leave to dry, put away. Quite simple.
Excellent cleaning of sofa chairs and more

Completely renewed the sofa and chairs.
Some things I think would make that product perfect:
– A larger cleaning container than the dirt container (I find myself filling the cleaning container more than emptying the waste container, and for some reason the waste container is larger ..)
– Place in the device itself to store the extra handle of the cleaner. So I’m sure I’m not losing him.

Love this product! I needed to deep clean sofa, mattress and a few rugs. I have a carpet wet vac by VAX and this spot cleaner is soooo much better! Really easy to use. Very help full to have a bottle of cleaner with it. Wire is long so you can go far. Very very easy to clean! I was so amazing by how much this thing got out! Totally worth it and a must have in the home

The first SpotClean Pet Pro I ordered was faulty and had to be sent straight back. I thought the problem was that the trigger didn’t work properly as it hardly moved and no spray came out. On reflection, I think it had a faulty pump as the trigger on the replacement sent by Amazon (very promptly) also doesn’t squeeze very far but, by contrast, sprays well.
Just hours after the carpet cleaner arrived, one of my dogs was sick in the middle of the night after a fun day of eating stones, twigs and other savoury treats in the garden. I have owned a Bissell Big Green for about five years and find it excellent for cleaning a whole carpet but far too big and cumbersome to haul out just for spot cleaning, especially in the middle of the night. It was a relief to have the SpotClean to hand as it is lightweight and quick and easy to use. The pet mess cleaning tool is a real bonus as it saves having to clean up the mess by hand before shampooing and prevents the inside of the hose and dirty water tank from becoming too soiled. It took me a little while to get used to gauging exactly where to hold the cleaning head for the spray to hit the right spot and the best angles for holding the head for using the brush and and vacuum. The cleaner works best if it is held fairly lightly and used slowly. On the whole, it did a pretty good job. There is a small, faint stain remaining on the carpet which will probably come out next time it is cleaned.
While I was pleased with the ease of use and general performance, there are a few points worth mentioning which could do with improvement. First, the cleaner is quite noisy and could wake others in the property, and probably neighbours too, if used at nighttime. Second, for some bizarre and unfathomable reason, Bissell have stopped putting the helpful two filling lines for water and cleaning solution on the clean tank. There is now only one line for water and and instruction to add 2 fluid ounces (approx 60ml) of cleaning solution but no measuring cup is provided. I used my digital kitchen scales and a cup from another appliance to measure the correct amount of solution but if you haven’t got either to hand it would be sheer guesswork. Third, it looks as if the transparent cover on the pet mess tool can probably be removed for cleaning after use but is so fiddly to remove that I gave up. My manual dexterity and eyesight are not what they used to be. Finally, the design of the machine is small and neat. It comes with the normal cleaning head and the pet mess tool. One can be attached to the end of the hose and left in place but there is nowhere on board to store the spare cleaning tool. In my house it stands the risk of being found and chewed up by one of my dogs, the fate of so many other loose cleaning tools. For these reasons I have knocked one * off the score. Come on, Bissell, just a few small improvements would make the SpotClean Pet Pro an excellent cleaner!

Efficient and easy to use
I’ve just used this on my car seats which were covered in mud and stains from kids, dogs and my all weather walking and they’ve come up a treat. One tank was enough to do the whole car – boot as well! I had to go over one or two areas that were deeply soiled. The seats now look like they did when I first bought the car and the whole car smells fresher. From now on the occasional clean should keep those seats spick and span. Now to tackle the house carpets.

I have never bought a product which i couldn’t be more satisfied with!
So far I’ve cleaned two sets of Sofa’s and chairs, 4 large rugs, and car seats in my Volvo. You wouldn’t believe the colour of the water from them!!
Dried very quickly!
I had to refill the solution a couple of times doing these jobs but that wasn’t difficult!!
I don’t think I’d like to do carpets, it would do them in a small room but you would be going back and forth refilling the solution!!
The cleaning liquid itself works very well but at 20 it isn’t cheap. I might look for a cheaper alternative!

I’m gobsmacked on how good this little machine actually is! I’ve had a vax platinum power wash for a few years now and it kept braking or the suction wasn’t good enough on the hose. After seeing loads of videos of this on tiktok I though bugger it I’ll give it ago. The suction is 100% better and won’t be buying an over expensive vax again!
Effective little machine
My bedroom is all white, including the carpet. As a consequence you can imagine the entrance way gets dirty far sooner than the rest of the room. A huge whole room sized cleaner was not suitable since I only have carpets upstairs in my house.
This little gem is fantastic. Perfect for my needs and allows me to keep on top of the high traffic areas that need spot cleaning . I highly recommend this little machine. Nice and compact and fits well and out of site under the stairs. The liquid it comes with is good too. I also put a few drops of fabric softener in the cleaning tank.
Great value and works well.
I thought this was a bargain given that I have cleaned a sofa, a rug and a set of curtains with just cold water and a spot of detergent. I’m sure it would be great for car seats and carpets too. The curtains were dry clean only and had dirty stripes in the folds where our four dogs had walked past the floor length curtains for the past 3 years wiping their sides onto the fabric. I only noticed when cleaning the skirting boards and was quite shocked. Not wanting to pay to have them dry cleaned, I spot cleaned them with the Bissel and you can no longer tell we have four, 12in high dogs who like to chase past these curtains each day. The amount of dirt in the water after just a few minutes of use is testament to either the power of the Bissel or the power of dogs to use each and every surface to dispose of their dirt.

By far the BEST appliance I’ve ever bough
Wow what can I say about this? I bought it as my sisters dog had diarrhoea all over my back car seats, got delivered next day on prime. It is WOW. It’s light weight, fits under the kitchen sink and is really sleek designed. Easy to use and it cleans AMAZING. As you can see in the picture before and after it got rid of all the dog mess even in the weird mesh fabric of my scirocco seats, it’s precise and the spray is large enough to cover the whole seat in one swoop, it’s noisy but that’s to be expected, it comes with a small bottle or bissel cleaner.. I used three capfuls and have done the entire back seats and half the lounge carpet. Wonderful product like cannot recommended enough, 100% worth the money!

Easy to use, pet and child safe detergent which is a massive bonus for us, lovely fresh (but not invasive) fragrance without being full of horrible chemicals and look at the filth that came out! It doesn’t over saturate as you control the spray, so that’s great too. I can’t fault it.
I’ve been raving to my friends who all probably think I’m insane… Best buy this year so far.
Not just for Spot-cleaning - gives great results on stairs and cars etc
It’s light enough and compact enough to easily move around areas.
The hose pipe from the unit to the tool is a little on the short side for cleaning stairs, this means that you have to carry or keep moving the main unit down the stairs with you. Which is fine as its compact and light enough to do so, albeit it a 2+metre hose pipe would have been better. (Hence 4 not 5 stars)
The spraying of the cleaning fluid – you need to be slightly patient as the spray is a little slower than I would have liked, and you will need to give a few passes to adequately saturate the area. There was more than enough fluid to spray and clean a whole set and a half of stairs.
You are the energy behind the agitation using the brush heads. It take a fair amount of energy and effort to ‘scrub’ the area to ensure the fluid is worked in and stains lifted etc.
Tested it at my aunts house on her stair case carpets which haven’t been properly cleaned since install. . . 35 years ago! Results were amazing, rejuvenated the stair case carpet massively.
Cleaning the machine – tanks are easy to remove and rinse out. Hose pipe….Bissell UK instructions indicate sucking clean water through the pipe to clean it. I would say invest in the Bissell Hydrorinse clip available from Bissell USA (and amazon.com) – clips on the end of the pipe where the tool goes, then you can use the machine spray system to spray clean water or left over cleaning fluid through the pipe to clean it out!
Overall very happy with it so far. If that should change, this will be updated 🙂
Great little cleane

LOVE IT.
Before it I was adamant we were not going to have carpet anywhere in the house. Since purchasing I’m disappointed I only have 2 sofa’s, head-board, and a rug, I wish I had more upholstery to use it on I love it that much. Easy to do everything. We have 2 long haired cats. Nothing had been cleaned in 3 years (besides vacuum) our headboard was so gross it was no longer navy but a dusty colour. The cats like to sit on the back of the couch and we started noticing it smelt basically like poop from the cats lol. Stains, discolouration and smell gone, and our shag rug is fluffier after one go over! Watching the filth and seeing the colour of the water is fun to watch!

Excellent results! I bought this spot cleaner as a full size would be too big for what I needed. Sturdy product and easy to use. I used it to clean whole rooms and stairs (sits perfectly on standard stairs so no need to hold machine as you go) and although it’s a hand and knees job, the results are worth it. Would highly recommend! I tried dirt busters carpet cleaner but must admit, the bissell cleaner has best results, slightly more expensive but cuts cleaning time.

The rest is easy, rinse out the tanks and dry, give the machine a wipe over & job done. Also nice and small to store, hardly takes up any space. Am still planning on getting a larger machine for the main carpet areas, but for small stains, stairs, upholstery etc, this is perfect.

It’s made me feel like my house was filthy and as a borderline OCD cleaner that really hurts BUT now I’ve used it the house has never felt so clean. The instructions are just pictures which is more difficult in my opinion to understand how to use it. It doesn’t tell you how much solution to add because it says use the measurement cup. There was no measurement cup attached to the sample bottle because it’s only a small bottle so I had to google for ages to find out the correct amount. It didn’t even specify in the description page so that was fairly disappointing. If anyone is struggling to find the measurements out, a full tank consists of 60ml of solution and the rest is warm/hot tap water that goes up to the fill line which is printed clearly on the tank.
If you’re like me and have to be very careful with money I can assure you that this was the best purchase I have ever made and the money it’s saving me is fantastic. No professional carpet cleaners bills, no new furniture and no new carpets. And even though I got a good deal by getting it on Prime day, it’s well worth the money with or without the discount so don’t hesitate and add it to your basket!!

Hey BMW. Who ever thought cream floor mats was a good idea? The marks were really spoiling the interior. I bought this cleaner with low expectations but it has given the carpets and seats (which were really stained and grubby) a new lease of life. It’s strangely satisfying to use. Wish I had bought it soone
As a mum of 2 girls, 4 & 1 I often find myself cleaning spills everyday that the sofa never recovers from, with this machine I am now able to clean the sofa properly and it be transformed back to its like new state.
My only regret is not knowing about it sooner and buying it sooner. I used to pay 100 a year for a cleaner to come do it all for me, now I can do it myself for a fraction of the cost. Amazing.

I have a small cottage but with my feet in and out of the garden, my grandson’s feet, the feet of electricians, gas fitters etc. constantly trudging in and out, the carpet was horrific. I purchased this little gadget last year but haven’t used it until today….hot sun and nice warm breeze….after two hours I have a clean and acceptable living room. Deep stains need two attempts but eventually give in. If this tiny treasure has one fault it’s the fact that it’s a bit noisy…but so is our unelected Prime Minister when he drivels and lies about the tragedy known as Brexit and I know which one I prefer.

Really handy! Especially with pets and kids! Easy to use! Also all packs away so neatly! If I could rate it 10 stars out of 5 I would! I will do an update if I find any user issues but so far I am over the moon with this purchase and it will help me keep the house nice and clean in the harder to reach places. We also have a regular sized vax carpet cleaning hoover which is good for large carpeted areas. But this is perfect for chairs, sofas, car seats, mattresses, stairs and other harder to reach areas!!
Received a machine that doesnt look like genuine
Recently I purchased a Bissell SpotClean Pro that looks different from the other one that I purchased last year.
In the attached photo, the last year machine is the one with red triangle logo. The recently purchased machine is the one without the red triangle logo.
Is the recently purchased machine a genuine one? It makes me worried as the packaging box has been opened when I received it.
Please advise what are the differences between the two machine models?

Great suction power for cleaning carpets, furniture, kitchen floor and the car.
I bought this great little machine to replace an upright carpet cleaner with a hose attachment and I am very pleased that I did as it is well worth the money. Having used it for a few months I can make the following points
* Very powerful and cleans better than the carpet cleaner it replaced.
* Small and compact taking up much less storage space than an upright, I like the wrap around hose and cable feature.
* Easy filling and emptying of carpet cleaner and dirty water tank.
* Cleans up well after my dog has an accident.
* Good for cleaning dog hairs from the carpet to make it look like new.
* You could clean a whole carpet which will take longer than an upright but does a better job.
* Good wet vacuum cleaner useful for spillages in the bath room and kitchen.
* Cleans furniture and carpets well but I also use it on the kitchen floor instead of using a mop
* Cleans the car seats and the rubber flooring in my van better than a pressure washer using very little water and hence quicker to dry out.
An excellent bit of kit and I would highly recommend.
I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old and this little machine has been a life saver for every accident you can imagine. Yogurt on the carpet, vomit, urine, poo, food, drinks, paint, pen, milk.. absolutely any stain gone. I am so glad I saved and bought this amazing machine last year.

I was sceptical about this cleaner but so glad Ive bought it.
it had just arrived when my dog decided to have a little scoot across my grey carpet… not a problem I thought…so i chucked some cleaner product on it. chucked some disinfectant on it (just for good measure) … then used this little beaut….. SORTED!
and the carpet was almost dry afterwards.
its really easy to clean afterwards…. empty the dirty tank then suck up some nice clean water with a bit of disinfectant in it to clean the tube.

I spilled fish soup on my car interior cloth seats, WORST NIGHTMARE! Nothing was getting out the smell and after a week it turned into a rotting fish smell.
I was left with the option of getting it valeted or buy a spot cleaner. Both would cost around the same and there’s no guarantee that the valet will get the smell out.
Decided to take the plunge and went for BISSELL spot cleaner. Very happy I did as it had no problem getting out fish soup out of the cloth seats.
After reading several reviews, as I am a bit of a sceptic when making these types of purchases, I have to say remarks suggesting poor suction power do not stand up with my experience with this product. I have a small bungalow and have over a period of time cleaned all of the carpets along with removing the surplice shampooing solution after cleaning to a very good standard. If you are in a hurry then it is possible that you may well not remove the maximum amount of moisture from the carpet but I found the slow and steady method works, giving the machine time to vacuum and do its job. Very pleased with all the results and my purchase.

Excellent machine
I love my spot cleaner. I have the larger Bissell carpet cleaner which is excellent but a bit of a faff to bring out for a small spillage. Good suction and excellent cleaning. I did find that the areas I cleaned were still a little soapy so I just sprayed with clean water and went over with just the suction. Perfect!!
Would highly recommend. I’ve had my larger carpet cleaner for 10 years and it’s still going strong so I have high hopes for this smaller version.
Amazing little machine
I have the BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution but its a big unit just for spills / car cleaning.
I bought this originally for the car however due to its small footprint and being very light its used quite a lot. We have two dogs and this is perfect for clearing up any issues. I also use it as intended for the car. The results are amazing.
Filling and emptying couldn’t be easier and I also must say cleaning the unit after use is extremely easy.
The family has ended up borrowing it for various reasons and all have commented how good it is.
If your looking to clean large area’s with this unit it will do the task but it will take some time. As the name states its really for Spot cleans and small jobs.
Good for cars and sofas.
I purchased this for two reasons: to help clean sofas that have had kids all over them, and secondly to help clean carpets in the car. Works well for both applications. Cream carpets in the boot of the estate came out really well, nearly brand new despite 180k of use. Sofa (grey) changed colour to the original again. Worth combining with a drill brush for best results in my experience.

A good cleaner for small areas
Found this simple to set up and easy to use, although when doing an area larger than cleaning up a small spill, was for myself a little heavy to keep picking up to move, would have been easier if it had small wheels on to pull along. Does clean the carpet though but not quite clear how much cleaning fluid to put in it. All in all not bad for a small cleaner and easy to store away out of sight.

I have only used it twice so far , cleaned stair carpet and a chair , it was brilliant , really powerful and easy to use . The only concern I have is the actual head of cleaner attached to tube is flimsy, I feel it would snap
when using pressure to scrub , I had to keep being mindful of this when pushing down on i

Received today and tested it out on a few spot stains that I could see.
In terms of ease of use it was fairly easy to work out as the instructions lack depth and clarification. Pictographs rather than written steps.
The clean water tank is adequate but does have a drip – despite tightening the valve properly. This is likely not enough to damage the machine in the short term but would likely become an issue if the tank was left with water in it for a prolonged period. I am not sure if this was noticed by anyone else.
The unit is incredibly loud and fairly heavy which one would hope would make it very sturdy. I reserved judgement on this front as we’ve only just received it and only did the one test.
I would imagine this would be fairly difficult to maneuver on stairs as it is bulky and weighty. But again this is a spot cleaner rather than a full area vacuum cleaner.
Per the pics you can see the cleaning power is adequate.
The stains cleaned were where hot chocolate; tea; soup and tomato sauce were messed on a carpet. The only stain that is proving stubborn is that of the tomato sauce. This was on slate grey carpet.

The cable is a decent length, the hose is an adequate length, the unit is small enough to store under the stairs and I was embarrassed by the dirt that I removed from the hallway carpet just from trying out the machine. Ideal for small flats and small rooms where it’s not practical to move furniture around to use a larger machine.
I purchased this as I have a rainbow wool rug that I have a love hate relationship with. It makes me happy when it’s fresh and clean, but it also attracts dirt like you wouldn’t believe and as its right in my line of view the moment I sit down to relax, it really bugs me seeing it mucky.
Was going to buy a new rug then spotted this little cleaner. Very glad I did as its come up like new. Quick and simple to use and took mins to rinse the tools before packing away. It would of been dry enough to leave but I put it over the banister to dry fully before spraying with scotch guard type spray to hopefully prolong the need to keep washing it.
Going to do the stairs with it over the next few weeks so can report back on how that goes. All in all really happy with this and recommend for small areas of high traffic areas around the home
Replacement for a Vax
I had a Vax carpet cleaner I paid a small fortune for around a year ago. Since day one that had issues with leaking and generally very bad design so I looked to replace it but didn’t want to spend as much in case it was bad again.
I spotted this spot cleaner on sale and whilst my old vax was an upright vacuum, this one is portable. Since I mainly use it to clean the carpet after my rescue dog nervous pees on the floor, I figured this would be fine.
I’ve used it twice so far both on fairly soaked in stains. If anything changes with more use I’ll update the review.
My general thoughts are it’s better designed than the vax with the separate tank attachment. The vax had the issue that despite being advertised a pet vac, it clogged dog hair all through it which couldn’t be removed and stank after a while. By comparison, this one can’t do that except for potentially the brush area under the suction hose. The water sprays from over the top of the collector hose too rather then inside it like the vax one.
Both are extremely loud but I feel initially the vax picked up much better until it started to clog and now they are about the same, maybe slightly less suction on the Bissell. A small patch took me a good few minutes with this and less than one with the vax but obviously this one is more portable so it’s not the same plus this one doesn’t leak.
The little pot that catches small areas you have cleaned instead of going in the big tank is a good idea and makes it much easier to clean up after.
The hose is a bit stupidly designed though. The catch to hold it is a lever but unravelling it, it gets stuck on that same lever area because they didn’t leave enough of a gap. You can pull it out but you need both hands on it because of the bad design.
Overall, as a pet spot cleaner so far so good for the money but it could be better in terms of design, suction and noise.
UPDATE: It’s been about 6 months now and it’s still working fine. The only negative I have is that being a spot cleaner, it can be a bit of a pain getting larger stains up but that’s to be expected. Would recommend.

The little pot that catches small areas you have cleaned instead of going in the big tank is a good idea and makes it much easier to clean up after.
The hose is a bit stupidly designed though. The catch to hold it is a lever but unravelling it, it gets stuck on that same lever area because they didn’t leave enough of a gap. You can pull it out but you need both hands on it because of the bad design.
Overall, as a pet spot cleaner so far so good for the money but it could be better in terms of design, suction and noise.
UPDATE: It’s been about 6 months now and it’s still working fine. The only negative I have is that being a spot cleaner, it can be a bit of a pain getting larger stains up but that’s to be expected. Would recommend.
I bought this machine to clean my car seats.
After reading so many positive reviews I thought to go ahead with this model.
I first tried the machine on my rear back seats which had heavy dirty and sea salt residue from our beach trips.
The results were breathtaking. From the very first pass you could see a huge difference.
I used the included cleaning solution as instructed and with one full tank I managed to do a very good cleanup for all four car seats.
A huge improvement on the reduction of smell was also noticeable.
Overall build of the machine seems to be sturdy and well design with high quality materials.
The extension power cord is quite long, making the transition from one seat to another much easier.
Also the suctions hose is at the ideal length as well.
Cannot stop recommending this product enough.
Must have product for any house.
Goodbye mop and bucket!
I had a very dirty stone floor to clean requiring hard scrubbing on hands and knees. The Bissell is ideal for rinsing and removing the dirty water, leaving a dirt free surface. Hugely more effective than a mop and bucket which just moves dirty water back & forth.

Used this on a number of light stains I’d tried to remove before with other sprays etc. Managed to clear up everything. Mostly bought for some light stains I couldn’t budge made by my puppy a year ago. Be warned, once you clean that small section you’ll realise how dirty the rest of your floor is, then it’s a pain to use all over!

As soon as my cleaner arrived, it was out the box and getting ready to be used. Had to youtube how to use it ie how much solution and water as no instruction book but that was fine.
Done my stairs easily and quickly. They came up a treat, was so pleased with the out come and the amount of dirt was amazing
Would deffo recommend but would also suggest buying a big bottle of the cleaner as its a small one that comes with it.
Only Con is to do a whole room would take ages as this product is hand held and you have to do it on your hands and knees

A really good cleaner for small areas. The clue is in the name “Spot clean”. It does the job well and is easy to use.
If I was to be really critical, it is fairly bulky, but it does wrap up pretty neatly. You will also get a couple of small leaks from the hose but it is to be expected.
It sucks the dirt right out.
Yuck, but in a good way
Bought this to clean my flat after a tenant moved out and had been smoking illegal substances in the lounge (new carpet left very smelly). I used this machine and it was amazing how much dirt it was able to pull out of a recently hoovered carpet. It did leave the carpet feeling quite damp but this did dry fully overnight. I would say that the machine is very easy to use but my partner managed to fill the waste compartment instead of the cleaning solution compartment, and then kept telling me it was broken. The instructions aren’t the clearest but its simple to use once you’ve done it once. Would recommend.
Just go for it. You won't regret it.
I was skeptical about this at first with the price of it and just being able to get a ‘pro’ into do the same thing.
However after hitting the bullet and getting on an Amazon deal, I would advise everyone considering it to just do the same and go for it.

Cleaned another couch, which had just being professionally cleaned by a local company, and still managed to take a serious amount of dirt out as seen in the image.
Cleaned car mats and came out looking great.

What a great machine, well worth the money
I’m really impressed with this machine. We wanted our sofa cleaned and were quoted 150 for someone to come and do it for us, so I figured I might as well spend the same amount on this.
The machine was easy enough to use, although the instruction booklet included is useless. I searched YouTube and found an official Bissel video that takes you through how to use it.
I couldn’t believe how much dirt this thing removed. I didn’t realise just how dirty our sofa had gotten so was really quite shocked at the colour of the water after cleaning. Needless to say now I have this machine I won’t be letting it get that dirty in future.
The machine has a decent suction and only takes a couple of passes after spraying to remove the water from the upholstery. The water tanks are a decent size – I had to fill the reservoir twice to do a six seater corner sofa and large footstool, and the waste tank was easily big enough to handle it in one go.
The only thing I’d say if was nitpicking is that the hose could do with being a foot longer as it would make reaching the top of high backed sofas easier but I’m really impressed with this machine.

Isn’t it great when you buy something that exceeds your expectations? I’m bemused because I can’t work out how it’s so effective. I bought it initially to clean my car seats and carpets as the cost covered the price of a valet. But not only is the clean so good but it’s quick too! Outstanding. The only thing against it is the length of pipe from the machine to the brush. It’s too short. Another 2 foot would have been perfect. If you can handle that? Don’t hesitate. Just buy one 🙂

I ended up getting this machine after the other one by V** did not work on delivery. Sooo glad I did!!! Might be bit more money but seems study and lightweight. I’ve put some images of the actual water tanks and inside of machine, you just fill put container in and switch it on and go! Comes with 2 sized heads and I did a half full tank test and it cleaned loads. Easy to clean the tanks and brush heads also and it has a self clean mode. Very happy 🙂

This is a great piece of kit to own. As a detailer, it brought up the carpets and upholstery to almost new except for the wear and tear. You can watch as the cleaning solution is sprayed onto the carpet, and after finishing the whole carpet, I watched the dirt coming out. Even though the carpet looked clean, the amount of dirt sucked out was very surprising. And the smell was nice. The added Stainguard was a bonus. Instead of having to do a second clean once was enough. For such a small machine, it did a big machine job. And with very little effort.

Firstly I don’t usually write reviews, but this genuinely deserved it!
In the first couple of weeks, this has been used to clean the interior of my son’s 10-year-old car, which came up like new along with various marks on carpets around the house.
Using the warm/hot water and the Bissell liquid gives the best results, leaving the carpets and upholstery slightly damp but clean and dry within 12 hours.
One thing as some people have mentioned the two cleaning heads supplied don’t feel that robust, so hold as close to the end when you are using it so as not to put pressure on the point they join the hose. I can break anything and have given this a real test, but from reading other reviews and knowing this is a weak point I’ve avoided this.
This really is a superb little bit of kit and well worth having available if you have pets or kids to clean up the inevitable spills they can produce.
Well what can I say here , lets start with if I could give this 10 stars I would. i have cleaned 2 cars and done out stairs and landing twice ( we were to have a new carpet fitted but not now ) It is nice and compact , easy to handle when doing cleaning , easy to fill and empty , very good dispensing of spray onto the job and a good powerful suction .
The construction and general build quality is good, someone said their cleaning head broke – advice here is just use it withe normal pressure , don,t lean on the head gentle pressure will scrub and draw water out. If it is very soiled spray and use a scrubbing brush to loosen dirt then clean using the machine .
I have attached 2 photos of our stair carpet , the bottom 4 steps were dirty , they had been brushed and hoovered but we thought time for new carpet , costing a fair bit , but I saw reviews of this little beast and gave it a go, no regrets its FANTASTIC so get one and save some money , the pipe is not too long , the entire unit is compact and very usable fits on a stair step perfectly , plenty of flex too . I have used other machines but this is SIMPLY THE BEST

Easy to use, have done a bedroom, the car and the landing so far… and then the bed after the dog had an accident… and hovered up a full tumbler of water after our toddler threw it. I can see it’s going to be a good investment! Definitley invest in good shampoo though. I used 1001 first and the bissell one and rug doctor ones have been far better. Would have preferred a slightly longer hose but it’s perfectly useable as it is

We have been having our bathroom stripped and renovated which has caused a lot of builders dust, I have put dust sheets down but the carpet at the top of the stairs and the stairs carpet is full of this dust, I have vacuumed it and gone down with a damp cloth periodically but decided to buy one of these carpet shampoos to clean the carpets once the job is finished. I tried it on a strip at the top of the stairs, it was great, really good, really pleased with purchase. I came to empty the dirty water unit and could not find how to empty it but after looking on You Tube, I found out how to do it. This machine could do with written explanations, there are photos in a book but I think written instructions would be useful. Do buy though, you wont be disappointed.

I’m not one for writing reviews but I felt compelled to big up this bad boy. What a piece of kit!!!! Took out the hardiest of stains on my rugs with minimal effort (I did pre treat area with cleaner) but this just cut through the mess in seconds and watching it go up through the nozzle was grotesque but also very satisfying. Very veyy happy so much so I bought a second one for my mum

This product is great. I do however wish they would give you a slightly longer hose for the extraction part of the machine. Or even sell replacement longer hoses on their website, i would buy one for sure. Thinking about it though i’m sure a longer hose would decrease the suction power slightly. Would recommend this machine
Very effective carpet stain removal
Did a great job of cleaning up a dried coffee stain from a cream carpet. I was not expecting such a good outcome. The tank is a bit fiddly to change, and I was conscious not to apply too much force to the fittings as this is a domestic appliance and not as robust as the ones you can hire. I will only need to hire again if I want to clean all the carpets in the house, thanks to this cleaner.

This is absolutely amazing, my stairs carpet gets often filthy (carpenter in the house and 2 dogs!) you can see how disgusting it is! It’s really easy to use as well. Hand-hot water into the machine along with the detergent (I did 2x the detergent as my stairs were really filthy), spray some out around 2.5cm away from the carpet using the button on the head of the carpet cleaning handle, scrub if necessary (I only had to scrub a few areas, it really wasn’t necessary) and then suck! I would highly recommend this carpet cleane
We own a Karcher Puzzi carpet cleaner which is a great bit of kit and cleans whole carpets and sofa’s really well. But for small spillages and stains it is a bit of a pain to bring out a big machine set it up and then use for a job that takes literally 5 minutes! So we decided we needed to invest in a small and practical spot cleaner, especially with having cats and a dog who tend to be sick quite often on our carpets!
also we wanted I for any mishaps I.e drink spills etc without having to dig out our large carpet cleaner, for a 5 minute job!
So we ordered the bissell pet pro spot cleaner, as soon as it arrived we took it out the box and decided we would give it a try and see if it was any good.
Set up was simple took seconds, I filled the tank with hot (not boiling water) added the cleaning solution that came with it and carried it to the room where a stain had appeared only a few days ago!
I Plugged it in, switched it on and got to work on the stain!
It was easy to use, and the stain/mark came out easily, however having a karcher puzzi I had something to compare it against.
I noticed that the machine had a design fault, where u attach the cleaning tool a little of the suction is lost, you could hear the air escaping through the clip that connects the head to the plastic connector, this was easily resolved by placing my thumb over the catch fitting, I guess the best way to describe it is imagine you have a vacuum and you are using the hose section and the hose has a small hole… you can hear the air escaping from the small hole and you know/feel that a slight loss of suction is present due to this hole, so you either replace the hose or put some tape around it to solve the problem!!! Well it’s that kind of scenario with the push button fitting that the cleaning tool connects on!
This though was my only criticism/grumble with the machine. As soon as I placed my finger over the push button I could feel the suction power had increased!
Something the manufacturer may want to make note of and rectify when they bring out another model!
Overall very pleased with my purchase, and feel happy knowing that for a quick 5 minute spot clean I can now use this new machine, and be confident in knowing that the mark will come out and not leave the carpet excessively wet!
And then when needed I can dig out my Karcher to do a full carpet clean in each room which will now be less often as I can maintain marks/stains quickly and effectively with the Bissell!
This is only suitable for small areas, It will probably be effective on the stairs and in the car, but to be honest I will use the Karcher to tackle these jobs simply because it would be more practical as it holds more water and wouldnt need refilling /emptying as often!

We were ready to buy new sofas as I just couldn’t get the hard stains out of the arms. With 2 kids under 3 I really didn’t want to waste money on a new one for it to get ruined. I had been looking at the spot clean pro for a while but wasn’t sure…

Brilliant little cleane
What a great buy! I caught this in the ‘Black Friday’ deals. Absolutely brilliant for stair carpet and spot stains. A couple of weeks after getting, my partner knocked over a glass of red wine on a rug. Before it would have been ruined, but I whipped out the cleaner and within minutes the red wine was removed and there was no stain – Brilliant! Have had no problems with bits breaking or not fitting properly, treat it with respect and you should be very pleased.

I’ve had this product over a year, I used to have my own business valeting vehicles and used this heavily for all kinds of stains, be it seats or carpets this thing honestly works great.
I have some pointers though to people who want to use this in home or cars, always do a regular hoover first to pick up any debris or hairs first and then use this product, you’ll save yourself a lot of hassle cleaning out the devices nossle and other filter compartments, regardless of that it just works great, it’s loud but so are many hoovers.
It’s got a great feature of being able to spray water or cleaning solution while working away to so it’s spot on for most cases.
The favourite part of this product is the ability to see into the suction tip as you pull out dirt or stains from fabrics.
Would definitely recommend this product, it’s had a very hard life with valeting multiple cars day in and out and hasn’t once caused any issues.

Perfect for cleaning ‘toddler worn’ sofas. My little boy is 3 and over the last 3 years we have had lots of spills on our plain dark fabric sofas and they have recently been hidden/covered with throws as general household cleaning products wouldn’t get the marks out! This machine arrived yesterday and I’ve used it immediately and it’s fantastic. The after photo is showing the sofas still damp so the colour is different but the results are superb! Definitely worth the money.

I did a quick spot clean of the living room, cleaned up the areas that the kids had spilled and crushed food and drink into the carpet. Very impressed with the clean up job! Was shocked at the dirty water that came out. Easy to use once I’d watched a YouTube review video .. much preferable to the confusing picture instructions booklet in the box. Great suction and cleaning on carpet, use the spray sparingly so you don’t soak the carpet too much and have loads of water to suck back up. Be careful not to put pressure on the pipe, have read a few reviews where it can snap

Our sofa was filthy and it was really getting me down but I didn’t know where to start with cleaning it so I was ready to call in a professional. Stumbled across this product and thought, if it works, it would be more cost effective than paying for someone to do it for me. So glad I bought it! You can see from the photos what a good job it has done! The instruction booklet was a bit weird – no words in it just images but it was all quite self explanatory to use, you can’t really go wrong. It came with a sample size of the shampoo stuff, I bought the full size as well as wasn’t sure how far it would go. I managed to clean 2 sofas with some still spare in the tank. I used the higher dosage of the shampoo and there is still enough left in the bottle for another few tanks full, so I wouldn’t worry about buying the full size straight away.
Really useful for cleaning up after kids and pets
I have an elderly cat and 2 children under 10, what’s not to like!. My cat is blind and is she gets confused (she’s 18) she can’t get out of a room in time. The stain trapper tool came in very handy today as this happened. It sucked up the wee from the carpet and then I cleaned using the normal tool. It worked a treat. My biggest tip is run the head over the surface you are cleaning slowly and you’ll get the best results. I’ve cleaned the seats in both our cars and the water marks from spilt juice has come off the upholstery in my ancient Volvo and the oily marks from my husband’s work clothes have mostly come out of his Panda seats I think another go over will get the rest but it was freezing it side and my fingers went numb! I do wish it had casters on to move it as you work and another wider head but I’m sure you can buy a compatible one. I did the arms of our sofas and boy in glad I did. When (if) the kids go back to school I’ll do the rest. The spray from the head is neat and didn’t make too much mess away from the area I was cleaning but keep a towel with you is you got wooden floors nearby just to wipe up any drips. The sofa and dried real quickly too. On carpet the brush on the cleaner head helps to separate the fibres and this helps it dry. The picture is just from one sofa arm

Spray is much wider than the hose attachment so be careful of wetting other things.
The vacuum is nice and powerful
Difficult to use on stairs once you are out of hose reach and you are balancing it with one hand and trying to use with the other.
Power button is fiddly and only works if you press it right, although it works ok
Clean water tank leaks as you insert but not enough to cause a big issue
Main suggestion for improvement is an auto cable winder as the cable is a bit fiddly.

Great little machine
This certainly gets the dirt up from the carpet, couldn’t believe how simple it was. Haven’t tried it on upholstery yet, with the smaller brush, but don’t see why it shouldn’t be just as good. Didn’t leave the carpet soaking wet at all, just damp and was dry the next day, even now in December. Motor is a bit noisy, but that’s OK, as it does it’s work really well and obviously needs the suction power, so no complaints.
Well worth the buy.

I cant even begin to say how amazing this thing is . The amount of dirt this thing suctions up is unreal and its so easy to use. I bought for my sofas as I have kids and pets and I was amazed and disgusted how much dirt we had been sitting on! You can actually see the dirty water being sucked up instantly and its so therapeutic Im actually happy now when one of the kids spill something on the carpet as it gives me an excuse to use it. My son has nicknamed it the magic cleaner.
