Works great does the job for me , as a female I didn’t find it to heavy
I’m instructed to write what I liked/didn’t like about the hedgecutters and what I used them for. Weirdly, I used them to cut hedges.
I liked that they worked and did the job required. What I didn’t like was the blade guard was awkward to put on when I finished.
My old trimmer died , so I picked this one and it arrived in 20hours by prime. It is far more efficient (bur a bit heavier ) than the old one – A good buy !!
Good power, lightweight and easy to use. Although it do like the double safety feature it does restrict being able to lean right across my 8′ high and about 2.5′ wide hedge.. just meant sneaking into the neighbour’s side to finish the top.. I recommend highly!
I dislike, the cord must have a holder on it attach. I accidentally cut my cable on my first used. I didn’t realised that the cable was covered by bushes & whem I trimmed it, it was cut off. But I fixed the cable myself & it’s fine. So, what I did was I got the cable zip tied in a circle 5″ diameter to make the cable heavier & not to entangled anywhere again.
Did short work of the bushes and privet hedge , wish I had bought one years ago , easy to use and the built in safety device makes sure you have both hands holding the trimmer before it will start. Really happy with it.
It’s heavier than my last stunner but cuts hedge with ease, really powerful.
my old hedge trimmer was 15 years old and was heavy and a short cut so you had to go ove parts you missed this Bosch was easy to use and very good on safety very sharp blades my only thing I would have liked was the blade cover could have been better otherwise a excellent tool
This was perfect in every way until the man of the house managed to cut through the wire!
Have been very pleased with this particular model, light and easy to handle yet cuts well through the beech hedging. Pleased I was able to replace like with like.
This is the first one of these I’ve bought or used, so can’t compare.
But it has done the job of trimming back the over grown bushes and brambles.
The double safety triggers are a bit annoying when trying to reach into a bush to get the back, but I’m sure it could be clamped or taped temporarily if needed?
Be careful of the lead though, it does seem to want to get in the way, and it is not very long so an extension cord will likely be essential.

easy to use, felt safe using it in that cut out even if hand slipped, which is great. it is most lightweight one I tried, but still only able to use it in short sessions, but that’s my issue not the unit’s. did need to buy extension cable.

Only used once so far but very impressed with its cutting efficiency. Selected Bosch as a brand I have confidence in although at this stage I would anticipate it being durable and reliable as have been the several Bosch items purchased over time. It is firmly constructed and quite heavy if using above head height. So far ver pleased and would recommend without hesitation.

Had a Bosch hedge trimmer before this one is lighter. Easy to use only complaint could have done with longer cord but easily sorted with extension lead
I purchased this product for my Dad has his had just packed in and needed a new on quickly. This one was more or less the same lightweight with good manoeuvrability.

What a great machine, it cut through pretty thick branches with near no effort. Completed a 25 foot long and 8 foot high hedge in less than 5 minutes!
This hedge trimmer is light and easy to use, just what I needed for shaping certain bushes and hedges.
Very good value for money. Light weight, not particularly noisy. Very smooth cutting action.
I am perfectly happy with the trimmer. It is light, easy to hold and manoeuvre and efficient. If there is one moan ( and it’s a very, very tiny one) the plug is very thin and sometimes tricky to grasp to release from a socket.

The hedge trimmer replaced exactly my old model which had served me well. Its easy to use and reasonably light and certainly appropriate for me at 70 years to cut my hedges. At the price its excellent value and hopefully it will be as a good a workhorse as my old one.

Great and easy to use straight from the box, fair price I thought from a reputable quality brand.
I bought this to replace a 15 year old Black and Decker which had finally given up the ghost. It is a nice enough cutter, but the blade size is the same as the old one however the cutter weighs enough extra to really notice it for long reach work.
Cutting performance is ok, but it baulks at some of the thicker parts of my hedge whilst the old cutter just went straight through it. As with all electric trimmers visually check the cable hasn’t got into the teeth before applying power …
Not the most powerful, but fine for the small amount of trimming I need to do. Not expensive and very pleased.
Im short and elderly but its is easy to use, making light and quick work of hedging. Im delighted

I wanted a light balanced clipper for precise trimming of decorative bushes but not battery powered This cutter fits the bill admirably.
Excellent prompt delivery. Product worked well, the only drawback was having to keep the dead mans handle depressed to make it work. When using at an angle this proved very awkward.

Through hedges like a knife through butter. Just be careful of the wire!
Cuts shrubs like butter and not so bad on the thicker stems either. Very light weight, capable and easy to manoeuvre.

Well made, intuitive to use, double triggers for safety. I am very happy with the Bosch AHS 45-16 Electric Hedge Cutter, 450 mm Blade Length, 16 mm Tooth Opening. It made very short work of some seriously overgrown bushes and hedges outside the front of my house. 20 minutes and things looked so much better. I would recommend it.

Go it in Black Friday deal. It is more convenient and easy to use than a wired one.
If you are bored of using hand cutters to tidy up your garden shrubs and hedge than buy one of these. Lightweight, good cut even through thicker branches and not too noisy.
Safety now means you have to have both hands on the device for it to work. Not the case woth my old hedge trimme
Weight of hedge cutter makes it safe for all ages to use. 72 years old female and still able to cut my hedges safely.

I am no connoisseur of hedge cutters and I confess that I bought both on brand and price. The bottom line is that it does the job well, and that’s what counts.
We have only cut 3 hedges but this seems great. I don’t think it would cut through thickish branches – it’s probably not meant to – but is doing a good job of our twice-a-year privet cut.
