I’ve had mine for Ila bout 6 or 7 years and still going strong – got this one for my dad as love it so much! Takes about a min to boil.. and I always forget so I come back to a brewed cup of tea ready for milk to drink.
When I got it I timed 5 cups to a kettle of 5 cups and it was quicker!! Definitely recommend one! This one has the adjustable cup size which is great as all cups are different sizes!

Impressed with how quickly a cup of coffee was made and knowing I’ll be saving money on electricity too

The volume Guage is a little difficult to get to grips with, but great as soon as you know

Can’t fault it,boils a cup of water for tea/coffee in around 30-40 seconds ,you can set the amounts accordingly to your cup size.

I love this but I have to be honest its not what I thought it was as thought you put your cup on the tray press the button and hot water came filtering out straight away abit like a percolator but it starts to boil like a kettle so for quickness I just don’t fill the water to the maximum. Still quicker than a kettle though.

Very pleased with it, I do find it too heavy to fill from the tap (fill it with a jug on the worktop) otherwise faultless.

Bought this to replace a Bosch single cup that expired after 15 years! The Breville is a clever design that seems to boil the water below the visible reservoir and then under pressure it dispenses. It is very easy to adjust the amount dispensed via a simple control on the top. The water is boiling so great for tea. There is also a manual cut off which is useful if you happen to have put a cup that is too small for the selected amount.

Nothing to dislike, so much better than a kettle if you’re only making 1 or 2 cups of tea at the same time. Would recommend!

Filters the water and saves time and money by only boiling the amount of water you need to make a hot drink

Quick and easy to use energy efficient, ideal for people on there own,not suitable for family use, looks smart, filters are a bit expensive, all in all love it.

Fantastic way to save money and energy.
Quick push of a button and within seconds disbursed hot water for your cuppa Rosie Lee, stop button if you feel you don’t need as much. Also a small lever for how much hot water you would like.
Very easy to use, once youve inserted the water filter.

Very pleased with the dispenser, my partner was having trouble lifting our kettle when full so I thought this would be easier, it certainly worked, easy to use once you work out the settings for different cup sizes, boils really fast and tastes great. The only fault it has is that because of the filter it took ages to fill, I bought a jug with a filter and keep it in the fridge, makes filling the kettle easy and you always have cold water to drink.

Who needs a kettle, this is far superior for single use and so much more economical

Brilliant idea. A cup of coffee, one at a time. Just the right amount of boiled water. Energy efficient and well designed.
A good gadget for the kitche

Love the style of this hot water dispenser.
We had the black one (not brita filter), which was great and lasted us a very long time, but wanted an upgraded. It still has the great features of being able to vary the amount of water for your cup size and you can stop the flow instantly if your cup is very small. Obviously you have to stand there and wait to stop it, which isn’t really a big hassle, because it boils so quick, but we use bigger cups anyway so perfect for us to be able to carry on our business while it boils and brews. It definitely looks the part, very easy to use, clean and change the filter (if it’s the brita filter one).

The delivery was poor it’s was not handed to me just left by my front door for world to see. Only reason I looked out of bedroom window was because my dog was barking and the delivery van was pulling away the passenger or assistant delivery man noticed me just as van pulled away and pointed at the door??
If I hadn’t looked out the window I wouldn’t of know it had been delivered I was very annoyed. It wouldn’t of lasted long on the street I live on.
But the item is great and does all that is advertised and definitely a energy saver love it.

I ordered this last year for myself and have loved it ever since for hot drinks to making baby formula in seconds. So this year I ordered one for my cousin to use also as his kettle has been leaking. He loves it as much as we do.

We had the earlier model of this kettle which we filled from a Britta Jug to prevent scaling. Now. we just have to fill with water and the in-built filter does the rest. Boils just what we need quickly and the tea tastes just right with a great temperature. Well worth buying for use in the homme where you don’t need to make a teapot full!

I needed a product to replace my mother’s kettle as she had broken her wrist and could not lift even the lightest weight, it needed to have a water filter as we live in a hard water area.
This has been a godsend, as mum can now independently make her own drinks again. it’s easy to adjust the amount of water for your cup or mug size, and if you need a large quantity – say to fill a hot water bottle just set it to the maximum, use a jug and boil it twice in succession, hey presto. If you’ve got it set on maximum and you forget and are just using a small cup (ahem, oops) just press the Stop button (just remember that the next time you use it you will need to press the Start button more firmly, and then all is back to normal again).
It would be nice to have a simple ‘dispense without boil function’ for when you overfill it.

Both mum and I are very pleased with this purchase.

This is our second HotCup after the last one started boiling multiple times and boiling over. But it lasted 5 years, and we loved it so much there could be only one replacement.

We’ve paired ours with smart power switch to turn it into an automatic teas-made for the morning cuppa.

It has the water capacity adjuster which is essential, I had the earlier HotCup once before which didn’t have this and so I really appreciate having it.

Heats typically the perfect amount for a single cup of water.
Will admit that it would be useful to be able to vary the amount for potential pots of coffee/tea/noodles, but this limits how much heat is provided for 1 cup & therefore in the long term should save on the electricity used to heat water.

Was worried this wouldn’t live up to the price. So pleased I took the risk. Bought it as I struggle with joint pains and gripping. I fill this with a small jug when needs topping up so it is always ready to use as the water has filtered. I now don’t have to worry about lifting a heavy kettle to pour. Takes less time to boil than a normal fast boil kettle.
Wouldn’t go back to a standard kettle now. Only downside was the instructions weren’t clear on how to remove full lid. Finally figured out just lifts off if you pull upwards from nearest to the buttons. Didn’t want to force it originally incase I broke a catch somewhere. Would purchase again if needed without hesitation.

We needed a new kettle and despite being a bit sceptical about whether we’d see any difference, we decided we’d give this a go. Ok, so this is just a kettle with a filter inside it (depending on which version you buy) but there are definite benefits. The kettle takes just 45 seconds to boil a mug of water, but because the kettle dispenses the exact amount of boiled water that you’ve set you can just leave your mug with your tea bag or coffee on the tray, press the dispense button and walk away rather than having to stand, wait and then pour. Being a Brita machine the filter works well, making a nice cup of tea even in a hard water area and it’s a nice looking machine. I would definitely recommend this machine.

When my brother refurbished his kitchen with a hot tap that could produce filtered boiling water to make tea etc. he game me his old Breville Hotcup with Brita filter. I had it for 2 years which would make it nearly 6 years old before it gave out. Since this is the only hotcup maker with a filter I could find on the market, I simply bought a replacement. As a black tea drinker I really see the difference of the filter so look forward to 6 more years of quick easy tea making. With a 40 second production time a kettle will never win on speed or economy. Worth every penny and will save you that back over time.

I really like the taste of the filtered water for my tea. I drink A LOT of tea so the only downside is the filling of the tank. Because of the filter, I was disappointed at the tank capacity and you have to fill it in stages to allow the water to go through the filter. Just takes longer and is more regular than I had hoped. I’ve also made a bit of a mess but getting used to it. Overall I would recommend.
