Easy Replacement
The footprint of Bristan’s electric showers has been designed to be compatible with the majority of other UK electric showers including: Triton Aspirante, T80z Slimline and T70z. Mira Vie and Go and Aqualisa Vitalise plus many others. Follow our easy to use dimension and inlet drawing to check suitability on an individual basis.
Anti – Limescale
Showers with this feature will continue to run for a short time after turning off in order to flush any hot water out of the shower. This will reduce any lime scale build up and prolong the life of the shower.
Family Safe Thermostatic
Ideal for family bathrooms – the shower will provide a consistent temperature even if a tap is turned on elsewhere in the house, preventing scalding.
Multiple Ratings
Higher rating showers (e.g. 10.5kW) will heat the water quicker resulting in a higher flow rate – we recommend 10mm cabling throughout the installation for showers of 9.5kw rating or higher and 6mm for 8.5kw or lower.
Digital Temperature Display
A digital temperature display means you can easily set your desired temperature.
Warm Up Mode
No more cold starts – turn on your shower and the display will flash until the desired temperature has been reached.
Performance Indicator

9.5 KW shower that does the job.
Reasonably easy to install, but not as simple as some. Rear installation requires a very exact length of pipe there is no flexibility (other entry points are more flexible). Purchased to replace a 6 yr old Triton and do far not disappointed. We have below average water pressure, but the Bristan does a good job. The shower pressure seems better than most. Like the easy light control system. Purchased the ‘Bliss’ which is the latest model for 2021. Was a little worried by some reviews on Bristan but research on the internet showed they have sorted all the issues and is now a highly recommended unit. It’s been installed for about a month and it’s probably the best shower we have had. Like the anti-lime scale function and the simple but good looking 3 function head. I have always purchased Triton showers in the past but the Bristan Bliss is better so far.

My plumber was very happy with the internal design features that made fitting easier than the usual product that he himself supplies. Looks neat and performs well.
Easy fit but inconsistent temperature
The shower was very easy to install with just one minor adjustment to the pipework. I’m not skilled in plumbing by any means and still managed! When it was first installed the temperature achieved was really good. Having only to set the dial to about 10 o’clock and get 41 degrees out of it, I was impressed. Over the next seven months I had to gradually turn up the dial to maintain this temperature eventually settin the dial to about 4 o’clock. I contacted Bristan and was told that in colder weather the water from the mains is much colder, hence the need to turn up the dial. This suggests the heater element may not be up to the job as my combi boiler doesn’t have the same issue. I can still get a decent water temperature out of the shower but the dial is almost all of the way round. Not something I expected considering company name and price.

I purchased this to replace a low cost Gainsborough unit which was impossible to control the temperature…to Cold then to Hot! and then went completely Cold. I wanted a better quality unit albeit a bit more expensive but this Bristan BL385 Bliss is a fantastic price on Amazon This was very easy to install, very high quality and excellent digital temperature control, easy to use a fantastic product.

Looks good and works well
The Shower was very easy to install, it replaced an old Creda shower. It heats the water quickly, it maintains a relatively steady temperature if some one turns in a tap going up in temperature of about 5 degrees. The digital display makes it very easy for you to know what temperature you prefer and to get back to that temperature easily every time.

Just ensure you have a decent plumber to install it! I was about to send it back as it kept coming up with pressure issues. Nothing to do with the shower; when they (issues) were solved it worked splendidly!

I may be confused about controls but… A feature of the shower is that it ‘runs off’ a portion of water to prevent overheating in unit when shower turned off.
I may be misunderstanding the controls but a simple [switch on – shower – switch off] cycle ends with water continuing for a few seconds and cooling. This can be a shock at first and would be awful in a small enclosure, especially in winter.
Other than that – shower looks terrific and performs extremely well.
As I said – do check my facts before assuming the worst on that ‘run-off’.
I’ll be investigating further before purchasing same unit for other properties but shower unit really does add a touch of class to the shower cubicle.

GOOD PERFORMANCE
First impressions very good. Only issue on installation was top feed electricity supply there is no cut out for cable so had to grind out small gap to allow cable to be fitted. It says on product description that fixing holes will align to any UK shower but this is not the case as my previous shower was a Gainsborough and nothing aligned, so would be better not to say that.

We have been looking for a replacement electric shower since our Aqualisa packed in recently. Having owned 2 in 5 years (they just seem to break outside the warranty period!) I didn’t want another Aqualisa.
A quick look in Amazon and found this shower.I purchased this shower due to the fact it was 138 (10.5kw) what have I got to lose?
Anyway arrived the next day and started to fit.
Very easy to install, I had to drill new holes as the holes from the aqualisa didn’t line up. I would say in total it took maybe 45min to fit but that was only because I needed to find some new pipe.
Having fitted and now used it for 3 days I can say this blows the aqualisa out the water. Pressure is great, by far the best electric shower I’ve used. Temperature is amazing, holds well at 42-43 degrees even with other taps or toilets flushing. Other reviews saying it fluctuates may have issues with their water pressures.
The shower looks great, the LED is sleek so let’s hope it lasts.
Hopefully the shower will last much longer than the Aqualisa only time will tell.
I would have been happy to pay the full RRP it’s that good.

Excellent shower, modern look, modern design.. rated one of THE best electric showers.. i did a lot of research before purchasing.. so far living upto the hype and expectations.. its early days.. but it is quality product.. id rather bristan.. over mira or triton.. ive had all the ‘top’ ones (‘mira go’, ‘triton seville’ & another triton one) and bristan is so far looking like the most value for money; cosmetic, bulid quality and usability wise. Unfortunately the water flow rate is the same for me with every shower ive had previously.. i get about a 6/10 water flow.. but im certain now, that has nothing to do with the showers..

Mira beater!!
Like the temp display. Even the kids can operate it knowing exactly how to get the temp they like. Always had a mira shower before but this has more power and water pressure, considering it’s an electric unit. Very happy.

This shower came on time, as I needed it right away for my handicapped sister in law’ showers.
It was easy to replace the old one. I particularly like the unit displaying the temperature, as my wife can see the temperature when my sister in law is in the shower. Really pleased with this shower.

Initially good service but not so after sale
Was very impressed initially. Ordered the shower on 30 May 2019 from Plumb2u through Amazon. With a weekend in between the shower arrived on the 3 June. Had to wait until 6 June for the plumber to fit. On reading the company literature regarding the guarantee, a registration card had to be filled in and returned. Try as we might no such card could be found. I have since phoned Plumb2u twice now, leaving a clear message each time with the number to call back. They appear to be still on a tea break. After sales help non existent. Very disappointing indeed.

First time installer of electric shower. Clear concise instruction manual. My only issue was having to run a 10mm2 electric cable from consumer unit which had its own challenges.
However, shower itself is quiet, good water pressure, running best on second heating setting.
Aesthetically sleek and modern design, digital display is accurate, reaches temp in less than 5 seconds, handy storage shelf for toiletries.
Single on off button a plus not having to constantly adjust temperature dial.

This shower looks sleek and fit over the footprint of our old Mira shower easily. The digital display looks modern yet functional. Don’t know how I survived before without a digital temperature display! Haven’t used the limescale stuff yet, but it’s good to know that it’s there given our high levels.
Couple of great design bonuses that we didn’t realise but love… the rail tray has a little hole for a wet shaver plus one more, and the shower head can be pointed towards the wall where it will stay whilst the water cools once the shower is turned off (reducing limescale build up). Really pleased with it.
Never bought a Bristan before always stuck to the Triton brands, but after many years of them failing just out of warranty, the current one still in warranty they blamed on water pressure and advised an 80 call out charge if it was… so decided to rip it of the wall and try another make. Straight away just looking at the internal PCB you can see that better quality components have been used, the relays in the Triton are from the 1960’s. the unit was easy to fit with numerous power and water inlet positions. only problem i had is that my unit must have been dropped as my front panel the spring loaded touch elements had all moved, but simply pushing them back in place resolved the issue. with the Tritons we always had problems with water pressure cutting them out (same 9.5kw units) this problem seems to have gone away with this shower which in its self is a gods send!! It has replaced a 300 Triton shower and far exceeds it in quality and looks, lets hope it lasts longer too.

Looks smart and works well although the higher the temp you want the lower the pressure becomes but this is normal from a electric shower, go for gas if you really want a power shower ! , nice design and handy shelf for the shampoo and gel , easy enough to install

This does exactly what I needed, which is be a shower, but it goes about it in a snazzy way. The lights and design make it a lovely modern addition to a newly renovated shower room. I had it professionally installed, so it works perfectly fine and I haven’t experienced any of the drop in pressure temperature some other people have described.

Using:
The main feature is the LED temperature display – you get to learn your preferred temperature and can maintain it without the fiddling about.
Design has no protruding buttons (just rotary temperature setting control) so easy to clean and will look nice for years.
Installing:
Just standard fit. Comes with a template as to where to drill holes (don’t forget the tile drill!).
The water inlet has a pressure fitting so easy to fit a copper tube – you can also change the orientation as to which side of the shower to feed the water in – this was handy as I was replacing an old shower and could reuse the existing hold for the water feed.
Due to poor mains water pressure, I purchased an additional electric water pump because anyone in the house flushing or using the taps downstairs would risk scolding the shower user – at least that was the case with the old shower. The setup including the pump cost near 200 and is a really decent shower.

Nice looking, I like that you can set the precise temperature. One thing I do not like is the push fit fitting supplied.
I can see it could be an advantage to someone fitting this who is not a diy person. But ( as in my situation) as my copper pipe comes out of the wall there’s a bit of guess work in knowing that the push fit fitting is fully home.
I’m surprised there is no flexi pipe connection yet amongst all shower manufacturers.
After 2 weeks of use it blew a fuse. I don’t think it was because of this shower as the fuse wire looked under amperage. Yet seems strange that my old shower worked for years on the same fuse?????

It’s a great shower! I love the starship enterprise feel. It was a super quick and easy replacement for our tired old one. I can easily get it up to about 45degrees C, despite the freezing cold winter water supply. It’s a pretty power hungry beast, so make sure you know what you’re doing with electrics. It needs a chunky 10-16mm cable and at least 40amps.

The unit looks great and was straight forward to fit. The temp holds well, I would say it’s very good value for money. A couple of small niggles, I have found it makes a bit of a whining sound when outside temp is low and the heaters working hard. It’s really not a big deal, the other almost negligible is when you turn it off the water runs cold for a couple of seconds.
The pressure is nothing special but overall I am happy with the purchase

Aesthetically beautiful. High gloss in black with a blue LED display like something off a starship! The display glows until it reaches the set temperature.
Previously had an aqualisa. The electrical mains run from the right but with the Bristan they run from the left. However, there are multiple inputs for the water. The water has ran at a perfect temperature for myself on the two bar, but other family members have said it jumps to being cooler.
Looks really good, not sure if it’s the shower or the water pressure, however when it’s on the higher setting the temperature jumps 10 degrees, goes from hot to cold consistently so only use it on eco.

lovely shower which gives consistent temperature levels between uses. it requires at least 1 bar of water pressure to operate so if you live in a flat you might have to consider buying a water pump, which is how I have used my power shower for the last few years prior to this one. The body of the shower can either sit on the wall or it could be recessed (the body looks like it has been designed for this purpose). very nicely design and the touch screen controls work well with both visual feedback and for the power button, an audible click.
this shower would probably work well connected to an above the head shower as well as the shower head it is packaged with.
