I always wanted to start some collection of CASIO watches as I remember these from my youth. This one is a classic in gold color with metal wristband.
It has a stopwatch (not timer) with 1 split. Chime for alarm and hour. Full screen illuminator (not just a small side led like the FW-91) and its water resistant to rain and hand wash. The battery should last for about 7 years.
It is light enough to wear every day or just as fashion accessory.
Genuine quality - The real deal
This product is a genuine Casio (which is something I’m always concerned about when buying from a supplier on Amazon who isn’t the official merchant) but I will use this buyer again in future as this is the real deal, as well as being the best price at the time.
Great quality, arrived early, and they had great instructions included that would have made a return easy if it had come to that.
Timeless classic
I have bought these models of Casio for ever, and in particular A168WG for the last 15 years and honestly the body of the watch will likely fail before battery, or buttons or electronics. Mine get bashed up quite a bit so only last so long, but if you are a sensible person I can see this lasting decades!
Plus the black screen gold combo is just the best look for a brown jacket!

Orologio carino
Per chi ha nostalgia degli anni 80′ un orologio che ricorda quel periodo. L’orologio leggero e carino, questa versione ha la scritta WR nel quadrante a differenza delle foto qui rappresentate. Infatti, questa versione (acquistata) mi piace di meno, il quadrante ha tre colori, nero, bianco e oro. Comunque, in conclusione, sono soddisfatta del mio acquisto.

This watch takes me back to my early twenties, when I had one of these. When I saw Casio advertising them, I thought, right, I’m going to have one. I’m glad I did because it’s simply a great watch.
No nonsense review
I bought this and use it as my daily watch when at work. In short I love it. It is what it is. A simple Casio watch but a lot smarter. I’ve got 2 different versions and use them both regularly.
I’m a simple man and would never look to spend hundreds or even thousands on a watch.
In terms of build quality, for a low cost watch I have had absolutely no issues.

My favourite. Us I said I couldn’t live without. I by 1 a yea. It matches any style and any arm.
Hard to clean the locker part. The bracelet colour comes off after 1 year but probably because I was doing sauna and swimming very often with the watch on. Other then that I love it.

This is a great watch for the price and I love how easy the bracelet is. No need to take any links out all you need is a pin. Casio watches are well respected in the Watch community everybody loves them. Great value
I should get commission on this as I know at least 3 people who have bought one after seeing mine. To be fair, they are mostly 50+ year olds who remember them ‘the first time round’. I use this watch as my daily for work and play, and I’ve enjoyed it, and it’s not let me down.
Love the classic 80's desig
Love the classic 80’s design; the gold plating looks great to begin with though I have two of these watches the first had the gold plating rubbibg iff snd being scratched to easily. So I bought another knowing this time to be more aware of the watches quality.
The gold plating reflects light beautifully when in a fully lit room or when the watch is near a light.
I have also seen this model being worn by famous celebrities like Idris Elba to name one.
All in all love this watch, money well spent.

TIME PIECE
Lovely watch, on first look online it looked rather tacky but upon unboxing i found that its a lovely watch with amazing gold plating & gold plastic. The watch carries a nice weight and will have you feeling like you are in the movie Scarface with its bold and noticeable look. The LED backlight is also a great touch at night 🙂
Great Watch
This is the second of these I’ve bought, the last was 8 years ago and that is still going in good condition (on its second battery), but the gold will naturally, over time, wear off so a new one is in order. It’s exactly the Casio in the picture, basically the soul of the classic FW91 – time, stopwatch, alarm – but with a green backlight and fully gold. All metal casing and strap, even the buttons are metal. in 1921 this watch would have been a marvel and the world’s most expensive luxury. Now, worth every penny.
A brilliant value for money purchase.
I bought a previous model that the wife liked. However when it arrived, it was impossible to read the screen it was so dim, so it was sent back & another model selected. This one was 5 cheaper with more features, & does exactly as advertised.
It’s an excellent value for money purchase which her indoors will hopefully love come her birthday.
A unique watch for all occasions
You can get the f91w for 10, while this is 35… So what, this is cooler. If you’re on the fence about getting this, order one less takeaway this month and you’ve already payed for it. 5*

Great fit especially for women ( if you don’t prefer small watches that is ). I wear it daily still looks amazing. Had the all gold before and wore it for 3 years back to back and haven’t even had to change the battery. I quite like the blue light as well

It's a Beauty
Purchased this watch for myself, but ended up giving it to my brother for a Christmas present. Due to my job I kept it in its packaging as I didn’t fancy scratching it, as Christmas came around quick, I didn’t have anything to give him so I gave him this. He loved it, & it received plenty of compliments whenever he wore it.

I was a little sceptical to order this watch, but I am really impressed. The watch is exactly as described, easy to adjust to wrist size and it was easy to set the time and date. So far so good I’m really happy with it.

Great simple reliable watch. I have the silver version and bought this gold one for my wife. Given four stars as the buttons could be better but for the price would recommend. The light on this one is much better than other similar models – whole screen lights up.

As a young lazy person who hates trying to read a manual watch without putting on my glasses, this watch is fab. The light is useful and the alarm works well. It is a bit tricky to size but once it’s done it’s done. Comfy and sturdy, I haven’t managed to scratch it yet!

Had my eye on this watch for a while as a friend recommended a Casio brand watch to me. It arrived next day with Prime and I’ve worn it everyday since, it looks great and is easy to set up. The watch is so light weight, I sometimes forget I’m even wearing it.

Not many with the gold face and gold chain I personally think the gold on gold looks much better than the black face on the gold.
If you like the classic look this and the silver one are a must get.

Good everyday watch
Lovely watch! I have been wearing it almost every day since it arrived, but doesn’t take much to scuff/scratch/dent the plating (only had for about 2 weeks). Display is great though and has no scratches yet. Three star for water resistance because I haven’t really tested it out properly, but it has been in the same room as me when I shower and no signs of condensation has occurred.

I love this watch! I’ve been wearing it for a year now (just forgot to do a review) and it’s a staple in my outfit. Really chic and a classic gold colour. I love that it gives date and time, is waterproof (I’m very clumsy) and has a blue/green light up feature which I can see the time in the dark. My favourite watch one year on!
Smart, minimalist watch
For the price, I don’t think you can get a watch that is better looking or more reliable. Not a status symbol, but it looks good. Only issue is that scratches on the golden coat show more than other steel casio watches.

Great looking watch. Be aware that the writing around the face is very difficult to see but in my opinion suits it very well
Loving it. Simole elegant design, the gold plating is subtle on the case, not too flashy but not too dark, plasticy either. The backlight has a blueish hue which makes it easy to read.
In general it’s not hard to read the watch, despite the black background and dark gold lettering on the display. Being out-and-anout in overcast weather and it’s still easy to read.
The watch itself weighs nothing and the strap is easy to adjust, while being very secure.
Well made, adjustable strap, lights up luminescent blue, tells the time. 12 or 24hr options AND a stopwatch, oooooooohhhhhh! Well worth it if you want to know the time in an 80s retro finish, and not the pointless distractions of your phone.

I purchased this watch after having needing a watch for work etc. and I am really impressed with this watch. It looks sleek whilst also being discrete and not too over the top like many watches these days. It has an adjuster on the strap that can be set to any length, so you can get a nice snug fit. This is exactly what i was after, and I would recommend it to people looking for a decent watch on a budge

Coolest Casio
Ordered this watch on a whim and glad I did. Classic Casio style but way cooler. Harder to read than a conventional LCD display but I don’t care. Love it!
It’s a stylish, classic Casio watch. I personally like it because it’s digital and easy to read the time (most of us use our phones to tell the time anyway). It has a stopwatch setting, which is useful, I use it to time my workouts.
The quality is good but not flawless, over time it will get scratched and the gold colour will slightly tarnish. This comes with heavy use, as I wear this practically every day and I’ve had it for months.
Overall, I like it and for what you’re paying, it’s a good purchase. I would recommend this as a gift for anyone since it’s unisex and looks good on all people.

I bought this as a gift for my partner and it has exceeded expectations – very happy
I love this watch. I’m a fan of this style in general, previously having had one in grey plastic. It’s worked faultlessly right out of the box after some common sense settings (will make easy work of it if you’ve had a digital watch before), and I’m a fan of the metal strap, which is really easy to set up and adjust to fit any size wrist. If your wrist is very slim (I just measured – smaller than around 14cm), you may find that the unused end of the strap doubles under the face of the watch. I suppose this might be a bit awkward?
I’ve received loads of compliments since I started wearing this. A hotel receptionist even started a conversation with me about how he has the exact same one. It’s definitely an eye-catcher. Glad I didn’t chicken out and go for gold strap and black screen surround! Feel a bit flashy and classy (even though it’s an extremely classic, standard watch) and nice to have the weight of metal as opposed to plastic. Added bonus, you don’t seem to get the same sweaty watch strap feeling…
