How to care for Cedar wood
Caring for the Cedarwood is easy.
Every 2-3 months give the rings a very light sand with the sandpaper included and wipe clean with a damp cloth.
This will restore their effectiveness.

How to Effectively Use our Moth Repellent Cedar Rings
Our Cedarwood rings can be placed anywhere from wardrobes to clothes bags. Add on to your hanger hooks or place on top of your clothes.
Make sure you use the dosage guide below to give enough of a covering of the Cedar to ensure it does the job!
Please check your clothes and garments are as dry as possible before adding Cedarwood to them as this will ensure the best results.

How Cedarwood Repels Moths
Worry about the little ones!
It’s the larvae of the moths, not the adults, that are munching away at your favourite Jumper!
However, it’s the adult moths that are drawn to the dark and undisturbed areas of your house, especially wardrobes, to lay their eggs.
It’s the oil within the wood that moths hate!
Not only does cedar smell great but is also what makes it so effective at repelling moths. It’s this which the clothes moth simply does not like the smell of, so will not lay it’s eggs where the fragrance is prominent.
This is amazing, but……..
The scent dissipates over time. Therefore if you do not refresh the blocks, then the moths may decide to move back in.

Good size, fits anywhere including hangers. Smooth and well shaped. Bought to put with weddings dress which will go into a storage case. Good to hang in wardrobe too. Loads in the box, good value for money. Scent isn’t overpowering.
As long as you do the occasional ’rounds’ to sand these & put them back, they work brilliantly & smell fresh & good too. To make sure I’ve tested them for a couple of months & a lot of moths.

Wow these are great. Much better for the environment and you stop clothes being eaten. Wonderful scent, but not strong enough to stick to clothes. Handy hole in middle, so you can pop over a hanger. Brilliant. Plus you get so many for your money.

I have high hopes for these. Came with a bit of sandpaper to revive them. The smell is lovely
So far the cedar wood rings seem to be working! No moths. The included sandpaper was a bonus and they are very easy to use. The scent isn’t very strong but perhaps that’s not a bad thing! The natural wood is attractive and definitely beats the synthetic alternative. We’ve put them all around the house and we still have some left.
I have a full box of these in my wardrobe as I found moths had been in and made holes in my cashmere tops.I was so annoyed.I hang these over the tops of my hangers.No more eaten clothes great invention.Can’t tell you how relieved I am that my clothes are safe and moth free.

No obvious cedar aroma when opening the box. However a light sanding did release a faint scent, though not as much as I would have liked or expected. I’ve given 4 stars in the hope that once I have sanded them more, that will hopefully release more scent as I like the idea of this natural method to fend off moths etc.
I have put these on the books of my clothes hangers. They smell nice and as far as I can see they keep the moths away.
Absolutely fantastic! I’ve had a nightmare with a moth invasion over the last couple of years. I tried all sorts of things to try and combat them, nothing worked. So far, these have been the best preventive. No more moths flying out of my wardrobe!!!

A little green box arrived and when I opened it there were those rings nicely packed and a thank you card and 2 sheets of sand paper as well, and I felt like it was a real present! The scent is a little too light, but this product is very lovely overall. Smell not quite as strong as previous ones I’ve bought in the past but purchased cedar oil to top up
We are moving back into our old farmhouse. We always had serious problems with moths especially in carpets. I am all prepared now to try to control the damage. Living in the country one has to expect bugs and other pests and they are part of the countryside bless them !!! but if I can control damage to furnishings and clothing then its worth it. I am so confident of these cedar rings from the good reviews I have ordered another box. I also got the cedar oil so fingers crossed.
I have tried several solutions and also different suppliers and this product has been the best quality at a fair price.

Was disappointed thought I was buying a UK product but the box claimed they were from China
I have never ever seen a moth in my cupboard but yesterday found a teeny tiny moth whole. The MINUTE I put these rings in I saw a moth fly out!

These cedar wood discs are perfect. I have tried two other products which I had to remove immediately due to them flaring up my allergies. These are perfect, no reaction at all and the fact that they are completely natural is a wonderful bonus. Cannot recommend these enough.

These rings smell so good you can see the crystallised oil on the wood which can be easily wiped off if you don’t want it there. I’ve put them around my room to help repel silverfish and each time I open my wardrobe doors I’m greeted with such a subtle and delightfully fresh smell. They also come with 2 little sheets of sandpaper so you can sand the rings every 3 months. Great value for money.

These look good and smell much better than other moths balls we have had. We have put them in clothes boxes which are stored away and in the wardrobes. Seem to be doing the job and very happy with the purchase to date.

It’s hard to say how effective this product is. I certainly have fewer moths in the room but I’ve been using other methods to get rid of them in addition.
So easy to use the smell is of cedar as you would expect, packaged nicely, delivered on time. All in all very pleased.

Arrived on time and as stated. Very easy to use. Excellent to slip on coat hangar. Non intrusive smell but effective as not seen moths since. Ideal for wardrobes, drawers and hanging in bags around the house. As stated I’m sure will continue to work after sanding to refresh.
They are lovely looking and don’t smell as awful as normal moth balls and I’ve got them in all the wardrobes. The scent is very mild so not sure if that will matter but I’m hoping they’ll do their job

Well packaged and delivered promptly. Wooden rings are well finished and the scent is mild. Too soon to say whether they actually work or not.
Excellent product which is so easy to slip over hangars or in between cherished woolen sweaters and the manufacturers recommend shaving off some of the wood to refresh the smell every three months so potentially this has years of use.
I have used the cedar wood rings in all the wardrobes, just hang them on coat hangers, and some in the drawers with the woollen jumpers in, fingers crossed that they keep the common cloth moth away.
The smell is quite pleasant and is not overpowering or chemically.
