Bin begeistert was diese kleine Kamera trotz ihrer geringen Auflsung alles abbildet und welche Schwachstellen und Wrmebrcken sie bereits aufgedeckt hat. So z.B. das beigefgte Foto der Haustr, die im tiefen Blau gefrbt den Metallrahmen aufzeigt, wo Klte von auen eindringt und umgekehrt natrlich Wrme von innen nach auen abfliet. Der Kauf hat sich fr mich bereits gelohnt. *****
Cam is small, gives a good image, good definition. I’ve used it a couple times already; needed to see which direction fluid was flowing in a small steel line. I rubbed the line with an ice cube to chill it, started the flow of fluid, and watched it with the FLIR as fluid warmed the line from right to left, showing me which way it was flowing inside. Worked great!
Love the fact that I don’t have to take my phone out of my case to use the Flir. If I didn’t have a thick phone case I would have bought a cheaper thermal camera. The digital overlay is waisted for what I use it for but I guess someone might find it handy. I like it because I can see different layers of fluids inside tanks.
I use this product to identify moisture and mold within buildings for my job. You can identify lower-temperature areas on walls, floors, and ceilings using this device, and further investigate wetness/moisture levels using your hand or direct moisture meters. We also utilize the infrared photos in the reports we generate for mold/moisture investigations. This product is extremely useful and to be honest… its fun to just play around with sometimes. This is a high-quality product with a great price. It worked exactly how it was expected to work.
I use this thermal imager on every job i go to in the winter.
I use it as a bonus service for a quick way to find cold air infiltrating it to the interior of the house.
By doing so it generates added weather proofing work helping my customers, the environment and at the same time generating more revenue i would not have received otherwise.
Valuable to have in your tool box.
Resolution is probably OK, but not stellar. The single sample point is more restrictive than you’d imagine, the text is white and when you’re focusing on a hot object it’s really hard to read because the image is nearly white. The lack of a hottest and coldest point on the image is also a huge limit on functionality. Don’t get suckered in by the brand name, this is barely good enough.
I love how it superimposes the thermal data and colors over a normal light image. This makes it extremely easy to see exactly where my temperature colors are coming from. You can also change the color schemes to match your specific needs to highlight certain aspects of the temperature information.
This tool is great for seeing where your cold or hot air is escaping, where water leaks are, warm blooded animals hiding in your backyard, all kinds of stuff! Sometimes a little bit of understanding of how to interpret, or help get, thermal data is helpful, but this is pretty simple to use. I highly recommend this thermal camera!

Honestly I wasn’t going to buy one.. buti had a few uses for a reasonably good one and I have built one using a pi and mxl sensor. The quality is better. Not too sure I like the software and the watermark on every picture but easily removed. Easy to use but even with its adjustment, it doesn’t fit with rugged cases! It’s OK with normal/samsung cases. Overall? I got it with a prime deal. If it wasn’t discounted I probably would not have bought i
Don’t have much to compare it to as I’m a new user to thermal cameras. It was easy to set up and start using. I found it a little disorienting for it to constantly change the relative ranges. I’d think it would be better to fix it to something like room temp as the mid point. But I’m no expert. Maybe this is normal for these.

Habe mit die FLIR am Prime Day gekauft und bin gespannt auf den Winter. Die ersten Tests scheinen zu zeigen, dass sie grundstzlich funktioniert. Die angezeigte Temperatur weicht leicht von den Messungen meines IR-Thermometers ab. Das Foto zeigt ein paar isolierte Heizungsrohre im Vergleich zu den Warmwasserleitungen, die wegen der Absperrventile nicht isoliert sind.
The camera is great, but the software puts a watermark on the image, and the ability to move the cross-hairs has disappeared in a software update. The software also overrides the orientation lock and rotates the screen anyway, except it doesn’t rotate the menus, so some thing are the right way up, and some are not.
A FLIR device at a reasonable price.
I bought this in November 2020 to improve my understanding of building heat loss. It has proved useful because I now have a small portable device that I can use to record building fabric and plumbing heat loss.
While it is not a fully professional device it serves to provide knowledge which would other wise cost far more to obtain.
I can record pictures to my phone to show when I explain issues to others. Before this device I was presuming how heat loss was occurring. Now I can see the evidence.
Takes too long to load up
For the price l would expect it to be much faster on loading up and also better battery life. If you don’t use it for a while it drains so when you come to use it, it’s dead.
I run a wildlife removal company, and I use this to locate animals, uninsulated spots or leaks during inspections. Works very well, super convenient size, easy charge, battery life is decent. No complaints so far.

Really helpful for finding places that require insulation. Also just found out right away what is causing my battery to die on my vehicle. Hopefully I can use this to find water leaks aswell.
Solid product, although it does bother me how slow it is to connect, and if you need to switch out of the app it automatically shuts off after a minute. Sometimes the calibration can be off too. For the price though, it’s a great investme

It worked very well connected to my IPad. I had my doubts but the decomposing body was warmer than surrounding area and was able to see it through Sheetrock covered by paneling. Not sure if it will work in every situation but made this discovery much easier.

Work as a home inspector. Love the fact that it’s small, and always with me when I need it.
Most important – by taking a SCREENSHOT of the phone screen while using it you can BYPASS DOWNLOADING AND POORLY MADE APPS. Makes the report writing easy since it’s in the phone as any other photo. All you need in most cases.

Wonderful tool for industrial/engineering use and also for paranormal investigations. Very easy to use, the iOS app is amazingly simple and works great, saving photos and videos is (literally) a snap.
Battery life is a bit short though. I wish they had put in a better Li-Ion pack. It runs dry fairly quickly.

Very handy
Our bedroom was the coldest room in the house. I wanted to see that the insulation added when we had alterations was effective. Indeed it was and so too was the double glazing. The camera showed cold areas around the bottom of the skating board/wooden floor junction. Since sealing this off, the room temperature has risen 2C and more open windy days. I’ve been able isolate other areas of heat loss and I reckon that over a couple of years, it will have paid for itself.
This is my third IR camera for iPhone. It blows the other two out of the water. I sort of can't believe the difference. I have had the seek for 8 years and 4 years ago, bought the Seek pro. Time marches on and technologies improve. I simply can't believe that the price point is the same for the Seek pro. This is fine writing instrument and that seek a crayon. There is no comparison. I don't have time to upload images right now, but will try to add some soon. I couldn't not post this review and now. I hemmed and hawed about buying another IR camera. It's instantly worth it.

Il suffit de tlcharger l’application FLIR One (gratuit) sur l’app store. On lance l’application, on plug la camra sur l’iphone et on dmarre voila elle est oprationnelle !
Cot autonomie oui la batterie s’puise vite compter 1h max.

Doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the pro model and isn’t as clear of a picture, but you pay for what you get. It’s perfect for my needs and arrived exactly on time. Even came with its own hard case. I’m pretty impressed with it, all in all, and would definitely recommend this model for basic functionality.

Biggest pro: works great, totally satisfied from a functionality point of view.
Biggest con: Battery life leaves a lot to be desired, but at least doesn’t drain the phone.
Despite this.. the concern I still have, which didn’t occur to me til it arrived, is it needs FLIR’s Android app to work. Without that, it’s a 300 paperweight. I wish I’d bought something with some standalone firmware, that I can count on to work even if the App is canned.

EDIT: The replacement is even worse, off centre and wonky. Returning for refund. Gutted 🙁
2nd Edit: Flir technical support came back to me again and fixed the issue, not sure why the first chap couldn’t do the same.
Absolutely love what this can do, works mostly well on my Pixel 4a, I can see the hot water pipes in my walls and under my floorboards! Will try with wildlife at some point.
BUT the FLIR One has 2 cameras, one thermal and one digital, allowing it to show a real time outline of what you are looking at. Unfortunately these are not aligned well, they are about a foot out at a distance of 3 metres. I rang Teledyne, they are very helpful but agreed that this needs returning as faulty. The apps are a little flakey too, probably work better if you buy the PRO version.
BUT because I love this so much I have ordered a replacement, fingers crossed it will be better aligned. will update my feedback at a later date when the replacement arrives.
It will be great if the battery life last longer every charge, as people pay the premium for the pro version. It still one of the best thermal cameras in the market.

For home DIY-er, a good buy compared to renting or paying for a scan. Really easy to use and set up. Not sure what happens when the internal battery gets older and doesn’t hold charge as well, not sure if it’s easily replaceable or if it can be charged during use.

Trs bon outil, dcouvert l’origine pour valuer les pertes de chaleur de mon domicile et avec le temps il a servi dtecter une fuite d’eau, les barres de mtal derrire une cloison de BA13, plus on l’utilise plus on l’apprcie.
Très bon rapport qualité prix
Idal pour chercher les zone de pertes thermique dans une maison. L’image n’est pas ultra net et n’est pas hyper fluide mais a fait le taf. Dure d’utilisation un peu moins d’une heure.
Permet aussi de trouver son animal de compagnie dans le noir dehors.

Ideal Thermographic camera for most DIY applications
The camera worked well with my I-phone and I-Pad, showing where more or better insulation was required and later to see if it had made an improvement.
It can also be used to check for poor connections on home electrical circuits and consumer units etc.
This works right out of the box, with super-easy set up. The pictures are fascinating and allows me to tend to prioritize and attend to specific deficiencies. This sort of thing should be available to borrow or rent because Once I fix the drafts I might not need it again. If I had friends I would certainly loan it out.

We bought this to evaluate heat loss in our house during Canadian winters. There are quite a few rather more expensive options but not much in this price range. The version we bought was the Lightning connector variant for iPhones. Charging is via USB-C and takes about an hour from empty to full, which curiously enough is about the same amount of time it drains when you’re using it. The higher end model has a better set of cameras than this one, but the results from this lower end model were perfectly good for our needs. It allowed us to locate heat loss areas pretty quickly and confirm whether or not any action was needed (or possible). It’s also nifty to see where hot or cold water pipes run through the house as well as to check to see if any power lines/outlets/fuse boxes are overloaded (if you can see the latter as being warmer than the surrounding area, they are) One think to keep in mind is that the display on the iphone will calibrate based on all the temperatures in range, so in one photo the blue/yellow/red differential may be dramatically wider than in others (3-4 degree range compared to say 18) which means paying attention to the actual temperature points is essential.
Good product and I’m happy we have it.

It’s also nifty to see where hot or cold water pipes run through the house as well as to check to see if any power lines/outlets/fuse boxes are overloaded (if you can see the latter as being warmer than the surrounding area, they are) One think to keep in mind is that the display on the iphone will calibrate based on all the temperatures in range, so in one photo the blue/yellow/red differential may be dramatically wider than in others (3-4 degree range compared to say 18) which means paying attention to the actual temperature points is essential.

Works fine – does what I want, but appallingly over packaged. It comes with a nice carry case, but why does it need multiple layers of cardboard, plastic, then more cardboard with built in magnetic fastenings etc?

In laboratorio per la ricerca di guasti elettronici su schede di computer avevamo gi una FLIR simile ma modello non pro.
Abbiamo acquistato anche questa PRO perch il prezzo era abbordabile: ovviamente la risoluzione non mai elevatissima come quella di termocamere di livello pi elevato e dai costi decisamente superiori, per queste termocamere sono versatili e portatili per cui riescono a dare riscontri molto velocemente spostando l’iPhone o il tablet in diverse angolazioni per la ricerca guasti.
Modello scelto per iPhone funziona bene e la batteria dura a sufficienza per fare un p di analisi ricerca guasti elettronici in laboratorio.
Unica pecca trovata anche per il modello non-pro che avevamo gi che la batteria comunque dura poco e se si usura Flir non fornisce ricambio e bisogna trovare una batteria compatibile ed adattarla… insomma non proprio il massimo.
Ma finch coperta da garanzia nessun problema.

Either the camera is faulty or I’m well and truly heating the neighborhood and the company that did my cavity insulation 10 years ago did nowt and conned me. ( council contractor).
If the pictures are true, I’m at a total loss of where to start. Need some pro help I think.
Camera was easy to set up and use. Did not have to take case off. When I took pictures indoors could clearly see cold spots. Definitely starting with roof and working my way down. Not used the tools yet and want to see pics on PC but good camera.

Although I had the right android build and right usb connection the FLIR app would not recognise my phone. Ulefone do a rugged version of my phone with a FLIR 1 camera built in,which helps confuse things. It works well on my son’s phone, a Samsung. Battery life is good. FLIR do ask you to try different things but in the end, I’m going for a refund.
This is a great tool for my RV inspection business. The only criticism I have is that the connection between the camera and the iPhone is a bit flimsy and you have to be careful to make sure it stays fully inserted. Otherwise a good buy

Still not sensitive enough for what I need but very very good. I need to see the blown in or foamed in insulation in cinder blocks. I will keep testing to see if it works better through-out the change in seasons.

So, using an emissivity table, you can adjust that through the menu.

Sorry to say this but after buying this for work for a single video project to see what was going on with a product in IR, this has now become one of my favourite gadgets ever for having fun. Want to see where someone has just walked? No problem? Want to see if a “present” left by a dog or cat in your garden is just laid? No problem? Want to find where your chicken has vanished to (not joking, we used this to find where a chicken was roosting in the hedge, see attached image)? No problem. Want to create fun selfies? No problem. I recommend to any other gadget lover, find whatever excuse you can and get this!

Dtection de fuite. Le seul problme, c’est le connecteur qui ne permet pas de se brancher sur le nouvel iPad.

Il prodotto eccellente, su IOS funziona egregiamente, l’unica attenzione quella relativa al connettore che non compatibile con i nuovi iPad che usano Usb C. FLIR dovrebbe fornire adattatori in quanto anche se doveste comprare la versione USB C quella non e’ compatibile in quanto firmware per Android, in sostanza non esiste un prodotto per i nuovi modelli APPLE e mi meraviglio che FLIR non stia al passo coi tempi. 300 euro mi aspetterei di avere la possibilit di usare su qualsiasi prodotto APPLE e soprattutto sui modelli di nuova generazione

Es una cmara trmica que va muy bien para detectar cmaras espas o instalaciones de sonido ocultas. En el despacho de detectives la usamos como complemento a los barridos electrnicos que hacemos. Si una cmara espa esta instalada en una pared, se vera mas caliente en ese tramo porque esta en funcionamiento. Por tanto ayuda a detectar posibles objetos electrnicos detrs de paredes o en enchufes. Se conecta perfectamente con el mvil. Como curiosidad os dir que me vacunaron del virus y tenia el brazo caliente, como con fiebre, y detectaba el calor de la fiebre del brazo. O por ejemplo si una persona tiene la nariz fra, o las manos fras, lo detecta. Tiene muy buena sensibilidad.

It was easy to get this delivered the next day rather waiting a fortnight for specialist company. Excellent outcome though my kitchen / lounge and utility room are now dug up to dehumidify for the next 4/5 weeks.
Picked this up at a very special price and very happy (under AUD$300). The unit shipped from US to Australia within a week. Needs the app on your iPhone or iPad to work, which it does well. Only trick is plugging it into the phone it doesn’t always detect it straight away, so I just remove it then plug in again and it usually works fine the second time.
Obviously the resolution of the thermal sensor is low compared to way more expensive (professional) equipment. So for a few hundred dollars it is still a great tool for checking out where the insulation is missing above the ceiling, or seeing where hot water pipes are in the brick wall.
Also fascinating to see how sensitive the unit is to human touch leaving behind “prints” on other objects.

FLIR ONE PRO IOS. Just got it delivered today and I was able to use it along with the app within a few minutes. Definitely plug&play.
I was able to see through my walls in order to mark the stud locations and stud bays for wall insulating. I like that it gives you the temperature of what you pointed out. My house was built pre-World War II and was never insulated. I live on the west coast of the US in the summer temperatures can commonly be over 110.
This item was very useful not only before I insulated, after as well. The interior temperature of my walls midday were close to 80 and after insulating the temperature dropped almost 20. The item verified a successful insulation job
Este es un aparato muy bueno para jugar, pero para profesionales todava tiene que mejorar un poco mas. Por ejemplo, la capacidad de la batera, que es muy poca. O incluso que la batera se pueda cambiar, o que se pueda utilizar mientras se carga. Adems, poder guardar las imgenes trmicas junto con las imgenes normales sera una opcin bsica. Aun as, el aparato es bueno y es de esperar que signa mejorndolo cada ao.

Besoin de vrifier la prsence d’un court-circuit (avec chauffement) sur mon tableau lectrique et de confirmer des zones de dperdition de chaleur dans mon appartement … cette camra a parfaitement rempli son rle !
Tout petit bmol, les infos de tempratures apparaissent toujours ct du point vis (je n’ai pas trouv comment dplacer cette information ailleurs sur mon cran o elle serait plus facilement visible).
