This Flymo Turbo is the ideal size for my garden, is easy to handle and cuts the lawn nicely. The grass collection tray/box is easy to remove and empty. I am pleased with my purchase.
Simple to use
Simple lightweight mower. Doesn’t do anything fancy, but that’s not what I bought it for. Has been reliable and produced a good quality cut. Not much to go wrong and a good price.
Good for uneven ground and hollows.
I bought this for bumpy ground and embankments and it works really well, I don’t think it mentions this in description but there is a very handy roller built into the bottom at the back enabling you to push it uphill more easily. I did have to secure those plastic attachments that hold the struts for the handles in place it seems a lot of people have that problem reading reviews of this and other Flymo mowers but you can put a nut and bolt in or simply stick the ends on the outside with electricians tape.
This mower is light, it works well on slopes and tackles grass that is a bit overgrown.
Only issue was trying to change the height of the blade. It was really difficult to undo the nut holding the blade in place.
Much lighter than my usual mower which has a grass box. I can whizz round the lawns a lot easier. Just one little niggle: one of the plastic bolts that holds the handle on keeps loosening during use and came off completely once. I keep an eye on it now and push it back in before it comes off again. On the whole it’s a very good mower for a small lawn.

Great quality item, perfect for small gardens.
Very little maintenance needed, runs well, is a little on the heavy side, but for me, it is no problem.
The handles fold in half which is great for storage; and flymo sell a bracket which is perfect for mounting it with the extended handles.
It doesn’t collect the grass, however, I prefer mulching grass clippings and this is ideal for that.
Delivered promptly as promised. Easy to unpack and set up. Great improvement on my old Flymo. Used once so far and was pleased with its performance on my small lawn.
I bought the Flymo Turbo Lite 260 Electric Hover Lawn Mower to replace my four-wheeled mower as the blade had worn down, and I wanted something without wheels. The Flymo Turbo Lite 260 Electric Hover Lawn was my first choice because it is lightweight, and does not collect grass. I’m one for just cutting the grass and then moving on. No racking, no collecting and emptying grass, just cut the grass and move on. This mower does the trick and is awesome! I’d recommend it to anyone who just wants to cut and go. Very light, very powerful and easy to adjust the cutting length of the blade by using the provided blade spacers. 10/10 from me.
A decent piece of kit-for a hover mower. It’s heavy to manoeuvre with long, thick grass, but if you keep the grass shortish, it becomes easier. Not a replacement for a wheeled mower if you lack arm and body strength.
We needed a light weight, easy to use mower for our small(ish) inner city garden. This does the job perfectly. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is that it doesn’t collect the cut grass and I have to sweep up the discarded grass blades afterwards from our patio area. Not that a big problem – it just would be nicer to have the grass collect on the mower; but then it wouldn’t be so small and lightweight I suppose! Overall, I’m very pleased.
