A little pricey though the price for these things have gone down over the past year or so while the construction quality has gone up, especially considering the first GCVideo device I ever bought had a 3D printed shell compared to the sturdy metal enclosure this one uses. Otherwise, it does what it’s supposed to do. Just make sure your display can handle SD resolutions or else you might need to invest in an upscaler as well.
Ich muss sagen, dass mich das Produkt wirklich sehr beeindruckt!! Es ist einfach zu bedienen und wirklich nur “Plug-And-Play”. Das daraus resultierende Bild der GameCube sieht sehr gut aus. Definitiv eine Kaufempfehlung vorallem da es sich hier um die billigste Variante handelt fr eine Mglichkeit fr HDMI.

Parfait pour la GC de ma copine. Elle peut rejouer mario kart DD et wind waker en bonne qualit sur un TV moderne. Perso, j’ai activ l’effet scanline qui rajoute un peu de cachet l’image et aide un peu la qualit mon got. C’est bien mieux que le convertisseur analogues classique (que j’utilise encore pour ma PS2…)
Bien vrifier que votre GC est compatible par contre !

Je l’utilise sur ma game cube nintendo pour pouvoir mettre la console en HDMI et optimis l’image. C’est le jour et la nuit!!! Vraiment efficace. Seul hic le prix. Aprs achat j’ai trouv ce produit 30% moins chre sur d’autres sites. Satisfait de la qualit tout de mme.
I’ve used many different methods of trying to get a good picture from my gamecube at an affordable price and this is hands down the best adapter you can get for the price.
The remote gives you alot of options to customise the display to your liking and the colour is crisp and clean!
I’ve previously tried the kaico hdmi adapter and scart (pictures at end with labels on!) And the picture was always washed out to some degree and fuzzy. But with this adapter I can actually read the menus properly and everything is super crisp!

It’s does what it says with this one, just plug it in and away you go. It provides a great quality image on your modern TV from your tired old GameCube. The price is worth it for the quality and added features via remote to make adjustments to how you like it.
I was going to grab a cheaper one at first but reviews of bad quality image or some not working at all put me off.
You get a warranty also which is easy to activate and gives that peace of mind so you can game until the cows come home worry free!

I have been looking for a way to use my GameCube on my 4k tv, and when I saw reviews in this I had to buy it. Price was way better than E E O N, and was worth it. The picture looks amazing, almost brand new, and it is so easy to install. I would recommended it. I have already told all my friends about it. It is amazing.
Fonctionne parfaitement sur ma tl 4K, l’image est bien meilleure et je n’ai pas de latence. Par contre je trouve que pour ce prix l, un cble HDMI inclut serait mieux
The price of the official Nintendo GameCube component cable is hundreds of dollars. Even as support for component video is dropped, you’re future-proof with the Kaico HDMI adapter. I highly recommend it. Just make sure that your GameCube model is DOL-001 AND that it also has the “DIGITAL AV OUT” port on the back.
Been using it for a while now and could not be happier. There are other GCVideo solutions out there, but this one strikes a great balance between build quality (excellent) and price, especially if you can get it on sale.
Mine came with GCVideo 3.0d, updated to 3.1. No issues before or since.
Fantastic device! As the title says, this is the perfect alternative to the expensive adapters and the official Nintendo component cable that is extremely overpriced from overseas. If you have a digital output on the back of your model of GameCube, this is the best way to go in the best value out there. My only complaint is that the remote is a little tricky to use as the sensor is on the device which is in back of the system. So if your game cube is in a place where you can’t really get behind it, you’re gonna have a hard time using the remote.
Other than that, this thing is flawless. A lot of nice little options in the menu. I don’t do anything with scanlines. I just want the line doubling for the games that are not progressive scan games. Games that are progressive scan like Luigis mansion, Sphinx, Vex, viewtiful Joe, etc look amazing in their native 480p. With games that are in 480i, The line doubling selection from the menu helps these other games look as best as I can. If you couple this with some thing like the Mclassic, these games will rival a PS3 or the Xbox 360 in my opinion. That’s how good these adapters work. Best investment I could’ve made for the GameCube by far. Get this adapter!

This thing is great I love it. My only complaint is that it wouldn’t work with my new Vizio. I had to pull out my older TV but the picture quality and everything is amazing. This device is well worth it.

Den Cube ber HDMI zu betreiben….das scheint die einzige, gute Mglichkeit zu sein.
Klar, das Bild ist nicht Ultra HD – aber HD war es vorher ber den Scart oder RGB Anschluss auch nicht.
Dafr ist der Cube eben nicht ausgelegt.
Aber – man kann halt die guten, alten Games auf dem modernen LED Screen geniessen.
Wir wollten unseren GameCube an den neuen Fernseher ohne Scat anschlieen. Dieser HDMI Adapter hat uns als einziges ein spielbare Ergebnis geliefert. Wir haben ein besseres Scat Kabel, einen Scat/HDMI Adapter sowie einen anderen Kaico Converter probiert, das Bild war immer unscharf und grell-blass. Mit diesem Adapter wird es endlich annehmbar. Die Fernbedienung tut was sie soll, Double Lining ausstellen nicht vergessen, dann geht das Flimmern weg.

I was not expecting a huge improvement in picture quality, but I had a game that would not work using regular RCA to HDMI adapter since it was 60Hz only (Ocarina of time master quest).
This adapter nmakes it possible to play 60Hz only games again. But to my surprise the improvement in picture quality is huge! Previously the dark scenes in another Zelda game were almost unplayable because the colors are so washed out. This adapter makes a huge difference in the picture quality, even if the resolution may still be low compared to modern standards. It is really a joy to use the Gamecube again.
With most new TV/monitors not having component cables, I looked around for an affordable converter that would work for my Gamecube. It didn’t work the first time I plugged it in, but it worked afterwards, so I probably didn’t plug it in all the way. All in all, it was worth it for me.
Der Adapter funktioniert genau wie er soll. Kein wirklich sprbarer Inputlag und die Bildqualitt fr einen 65″ OLED ist auch ganz passabel. Das einzige was vielleicht ein bisschen Verbesserungsbedarf hat, ist die Gre des Adapters. Er wiegt recht viel, daher hab ich einen kleinen Bock unter ihn gestellt um den Anschluss zu entlasten.
I have played several of my gamecube games in 60hz mode without any issues especially chibi robo completed it on my TV thanks to the adaptor.
I am yet to find a game that doesn’t work well I haven’t had any issues with screen quality but I wasn’t expecting the adaptor to make it look any better than is possible and my TV the lg nano86 2020 model only shows games in a borderd mode which keeps the visual quality more than fine to play

I knew the quality of my GameCube games would improve when running through this adapter, but I didn’t expect it to look THIS good. Even games that don’t run in progressive scan look slightly better through this adapter. Games that DO happen to support progressive scan, however, look almost HD, and text is much more legible and clearer than ever. Definitely recommended if you happen to own a DOL-001 GameCube.
Oh yeah, and a word of advice before buying this product: MAKE SURE YOUR GAMECUBE HAS THE DIGITAL PORT ON THE BACK. IF YOUR GAMECUBE ONLY HAS ONE CABLE PORT ON THE BACK, THEN DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. GAMECUBES BUILT AFTER 2004 (THE DOL-101s) DO NOT FEATURE THE DIGITAL PORT, ONLY THE COMPOSITE PORT.
Handy adapter, looks durable and easy to use. Great packaging and easy to follow instructions. Might be a bit pricy for some but you’ll have to swallow the pill due to lack of alternatives in the lower price range of the same quality.

Used for my Gamecube. It truly is a connect and play adapter which is actually pretty awesome. The only thing I struggle with is getting the picture quality to not look so washed out and blurry. The adapter itself has a lot of options to mess around with via the controller it comes with, so playing with the settings on your own without knowing exactly what to adjust is really just guessing. I havn’t really had time to work out the settings yet, but I’m sure with doing some research you can get it right. It’s perfect for hooking up your gamecube if your monitor/tv only has hdmi, im impressed by this simple adapter. Highly reccomend!!
Beeld ziet er veel beter uit en het is nu een stuk leuker om een game van de GameCube op een nieuwe tv te spelen. Verbetering in leesbaarheid van de tekst was ook opvallend. Tot nu toe alleen nog maar geprobeerd met Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Old Door.

ber Fernbedienung kann man alles mgliche am Bild einstellen und nach seinem belieben optimieren. Leider ist die Fernbedienung sehr klapprig und nicht optimal zu bedienen.
Possibly, like many people looking at this item for the Game Cube, I’m a massive Zelda fan, and I really wanted to play Windwaker again. However plugging the console into a giant flat screen TV simply did not work – the picture was awful, fuzzy and almost unplayable.
But this little plug and play device really has revived the game. The colours and lines are crisp, Links expressive face is crystal clear and mostly the game is an absolute joy to play again.
So – you need a Game Cube with a digital output (two outputs on the back) This little device plugs into the digital one and the supplied HDMI runs from from the device to your telly. the whole thing does stick out beyond the carry handle, which I thought would have been the boundary but hey. There is also a remote to fine tune the image. this has come in handy but quite frankly it looks super fine straight out of the box.
I know you can get emulators etc but where is the fun in that? The Game Cube is such a sweet little console it really does deserve to be brought back to life so you can replay your favourite games and this little little fella makes that magic happen

Aber Achtung, der GameCube muss einen Digitalen Ausgang haben. Ohne diesen digitalen Ausgang knnt ihr diesen Adapter nicht nutzen.

Trs bon convertisseur que je recommande, la prise en main est facile et les rglages avec la tlcommande sont simples.
Seul petit bmol que j’ai rencontr personnellement c’est qu’il est un peu capricieux avec les boitiers d’acquisition, mais sinon rien a redire, la qualit est nickel !
Product does what it says, that’s expected.. however, I’m writing this because of a positive support experience I had. When my GC suddenly stopped displaying video, I questioned this adapter because the old analog AV cables still showed video. I emailed KAICO support and they sent me out a new adapter after I mailed them back the current one. Easy process and they took care of me when their product failed. This is what’s important in my opinion.
Great product! Works straight out of the box, now my Gamecube plays on my HD TV! Picture and sound as good as it can be. Well worth the extra money, I tried an inferior analogue product which was terrible. Kaico have raised the bar again, I bought their PS2 HD converter which works just as well, but the Gamecube was always going to be a tougher nut to crack HD-wise, but they’ve done it. Thoroughly recommended.
Working well and my PAL GameCube without issue. Doesn’t make it crystal clear as you are dealing with retro hardware and textures in game but it scales without lag to fill the larger HD screens and helps improve the picture quality some what.
This is a fantastic little device, I bought a japanese cube and when I plugged it in, there was so much static on the screen it was barely playable using the original output. Plugged this in and the picture is as good as my english one. So good I went and bought the snes/n64 adapter.

La verdad es que es una de las mejores opciones que hay en el mercado para poder disfrutar del cubito en una TV o monitor HD.
Se nota mucho la mejora en la calidad de imagen con respecto a un CRT o una TV HD conectada por RCA (tpico cable de 3 conectores amarillo-rojo-blanco) que viene de serie con la consola.
Y al precio al que est el EON o el cable por componentes originales…prefiero est solucin por menos precio y enchufar y a disfrutar.
The change from standard analog component cables to HDMI was necessary to avoid blurry graphics and this device works very well, while others look for the best component (EON GCHD mk. II adapter) this device does the job very well at an affordable price. Highly recommend should the feeling of nostalgia arrives and you have a 1st generation gamecube.
Seeing some of the reviews and seeing people raving about other products twice the price I was skeptical about this product. However, I decided to try it, thinking I could always return it if I didn’t like it, but it is absolutely outstanding. The picture is jaw-droppingly crystal clear. I’m not a big tech guy so I don’t really understand the intricacies of the technology that goes into this, but I don’t see how this quality can get any better, and when I see similar products double the price, it makes me question the other companies’ price points. This is absolutely the best bang for your buck that you can get. Can’t praise this highly enough!
Does what it says it does, I can now play my game cube games with a crisp image; Beautiful.
The only negative thing I have to say about this product is how far it sticks out from the game cube the weight of the cable sticking out the back can be a bit worrying some times.
That being said I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a game cube and wants to use a HDMI cable.

Super Teil! Die Fernbedienung musste man beim Bedienen (zumindest bei mir) etwas zusammendrcken, damit der Kontakt mit der Batterie entsteht. Dann funktioniert alles!

Amazing quality! I needed it for my gamecube before I bought this I got an alternative wii digital to hdmi converter that didnt work with my gamecube so I thought I’d go out and get this adapter worked perfecf first time and ever since. Now I can play NHL Hitz 2003 perfectly.
A great jump in picture quality over the yellow red and white composite cable. And with newer TVs lacking component video, this saves from buying the expensive component cable too.
This ain’t 4k or even 1080p but I’d recommend this to any GameCube owner without any solution in hand already for HDMI connection.
