Ottimo apparecchio per iniziare la pratica del metal detecting. Era da tanto tempo che ne desideravo uno e per cominciare ho scelto questo Garret 250 approfittando del Black Friday. molto leggero e facilissimo da utilizzare e riesce a descriminare i vari metalli alla perfezione. Non andr in profondit come altri pi costosi ma per adesso mi accontento e mi ci diverto .

Non posso dire molto perch devo ancora fare la prima esperienza; posso dire che arrivato in tempi rapidissimi, si monta facilmente e velocemente molto leggero e nelle prove effettuate funziona.
La confezione non ha nessun sigillo, il mio aveva gi le batterie inserite, comunque guardando di unboxing su youtube ho visto che proprio cos senza sigilli e con le batterie gi inserite.

Very powerful compared to my Dad’s old one. Took a few reads of the book to understand but all pretty straightforward once read.
The Garrett 250 paid for itself on the first use.
The garrett 250 was very easy to use. My mother in law lost her 9000.00 diamond ring in her front yard. I went down to her house after reading the booklet of instructions, and within an hour I had found her ring!! I scored major points that day!! I have since found a few items her and there. I enjoy the search! For. A beginners this metal detector is #1 . It has all kinds of options for different types of metals.
It is a very light detector, and I would recommend the Garrett 250 to anyone who is looking for a hobby or to update old equipment.

Almeno per ora mi pare che lo strumento funzioni a dovere cos come indicato nell’inserzione. L’unica cosa che potrebbe essere migliorata l’invio di una traduzione in italiano del manuale. Inoltre sono rimasto sorpreso negativamente dal fatto che, per la spedizione, la confezione originale era inserita in una scatola di una quindicina di cm. pi grande, senza alcuna imbottitura che evitasse gli sballottamenti sicuramente subiti durante il viaggio.

Veramente spettacolare non credevo che un oggetto per principianti mi potesse togliere tante soddisfazioni. Funziona alla perfezione l’ho provato sia su terreni erabati che al mare sulla battigia. Svolge benissimo il suo lavoro anche se all’inizio come per tutte le cose bisogna distinguere bene i segnali acustici. Molto facile da programmare e tarare la sensibilit. ottimo acquisto.

Ho letto in seguito le recensioni in internet riguardo il GARRETT ACE 250 e mi sono reso conto di aver scelto un ottimo prodotto. I purchased this metal detector to help find a lost wedding ring. We believed it to be in a backyard or driveway and had scoured the area multiple times with no luck.
We got this Garrett ACE 250 from Amazon with Same-Day shipping as our last resort. It took about 3 minutes to put together, including reading the instructions.
Controls to adjust sensitivity, discrimination, and elimination were all rather simple to use, as was the pinpoint function.
We took it out and used it for about an hour, learning as we went and narrowing settings. I then went over an area that we had searched many times before and got a strong hit. I moved away the leaves and scratched away some dirt where the detector had pinpointed. There it was: just a glimmer but I had found my ring. It had fallen off my hand and been stepped on enough that it was pressed down into the soil.
First time out and the detector paid for itself 2.5 times over.
Highly recommend this unit. I will say that I have no experience with other units, but as a novice this detector was easy to use and got the job done.

Found a great new social distanced hobby
Bought this as a present for 2 teenage boys and their dad to have fun whilst on a camping trip by the beach. ( encourage some fresh air and not the Xbox for a weekend!! ) they loved it and found a few treasures ( and some bottle tops). Easy to use and a great new hobby. Very happy

Been using this for a couple of months now and so far so good. It’s a nice weight and doesn’t give you any arm ache if using it for long periods (well, not me anyway!).
Settings take a bit of time to get used to but I put that down to lack of experience on my part as I’m a beginner rather than any fault of the detector.
Good all round machine for a beginner – I’m already thinking of upgrading the coil to a bigger one….!

E’ in grado di rilevare anche piccoli oggetti fino a 40 – 45 cm di profondit con una discreta sensibilit. Purtroppo, specie nelle prime uscite, rileverete molti falsi positivi… occorre un po’ di esperienza per distinguere il suono prodotto e l’intensit dello stesso.

I had one of those crappy bounty hunters before……..it couldnt even find rubbish…..with a bit more practice this one will be great as my first……It has a built in pinpointer……it makes all the difference for a newbie

Nach ersten Zweifel ob es nicht doch eine billige Kopie aus China ist, habe ich es bestellt. Es ist das original Garret. Im 5min Versuch im Garten gleich 3 Teile gefunden. Leider lsst sich die Lautstrke am Kopfhhreranschluss nicht einstellen. Ich hab mir fr 10 einen Kopfhrer mit eingebautem Regler gekauft.

Spent an hour testing it. Found two screw in the Gravel on the driveway which could have punctured Tyres. Found a large ancient paper clip and a bent nail in the Garden and also what I think is a Brickwork Pointing tool buried about 150 mm down, adjacent to a tree.
Very impressed so far.

Was easy to put together and the manual was easy to understand however I turned the detector on and the bottom of my LCD screen dosnt work. I’ve read about this problem and it’s a very common fault with the Ace 250. I have contacted the seller so am awaiting a reply from them.
…update…Had a speedy reply back and they have asked me to send the detector back and they will repair it for me.

Mi sono divertito subito trovando alcune cose nel campo dietro casa, niente di che ma comunque perfetto allo scopo. Sembra davvero ben costruito e con materiali decenti. Sicuramente c’ di meglio in commercio ma come rapporto qualitprezzo secondo me imbattibile.

Works every time. We did also buy a pin pointer which helps for locating items. However we not far from disappointed! This is a great metal detector and great for younger adults or older children as it’s not too heavy.

Buon prodotto. Ho preso tre metal detector e finalmente ho trovato il giusto compromesso tra funzionalit e costi. Ci si deve fare la mano ,soprattutto all’inizio, da’ dei segnali che vanno interpretariato, poi con il passare del tempo si capisce che quando sotto c’ qualcosa suona in modo diverso e continuativo. Come difetti il volume un po’ troppo alto e dato il costo avrebberi potuto mettere una sacca per il trasporto che in altri metal pi economici c’.

Ho acquistato questo metal detector, non ne avevo mai usati prima. Ho letto le varie recensioni che nella pratica ho trovato utili, in effetti non uno strumento di alta precisione ma per iniziare va benissimo. Non molto sensibile per l’oro ma per altri metalli lo anche troppo. Non leggerissimo per cui non adatto per uso prolungato. Va benissimo per trovare monete e reperti ferrosi.

Ho acquistato questo metal detector, non ne avevo mai usati prima. Ho letto le varie recensioni che nella pratica ho trovato utili, in effetti non uno strumento di alta precisione ma per iniziare va benissimo. Non molto sensibile per l’oro ma per altri metalli lo anche troppo. Non leggerissimo per cui non adatto per uso prolungato. Va benissimo per trovare monete e reperti ferrosi.

The machine works well for the limited time it’s been out in the field. I have only one problem with the machine and that is it’s lack of volume control. The machine is LOUD and seriously if you’re doing urban detecting you’re going to want to do this during lunch hour cause the bell tone while very smooth is very loud as well. Headphones WITH VOLUME CONTROL are a must. You’ll blow your eardrums out if you don’t keep that in mind.
This is a good intro machine and I’d recommend it to others who want something take out with them when at the beach (dry sand) or in the parks or street meridians. It’s light and the display is very easy to read. Keep in mind though that the machine is over 4 feet long and you have a young child then it’s going to be a bit difficult to start off with… fortunately Garrett does offer a Kid’s Shaft Kit for around $20 to help remedy the problem.

il mio primo metal detector e devo dire che per iniziare ottimo. Strumento molto preciso, se utilizzato con consapevolezza, porta sempre a dei ritrovamenti. Non sempre riesce a distinguere fra di loro con precisione le diverse dimensioni di monete, probabilmente perch stato programmato sulle monete americane. La batteria dura tantissimo. Facilissimo da usare. Tutto sommato soddisfatto.

Great starter detector and found loads coins and other items.
Bought this awhile back. The first one was defective out of the box and the seller refused to pay the shipping to Toronto to have it replaced/repaired. I have used it for over a year now and it has turned out to be a reliable and accurate detector.

I was VERY pleasant surprised when i realise that ACE 250 which i recive even BEFORE date what was specified, that ACE 250 is genuine Garret product, made in USA, and i didnt hold anything made in usa in my hands for over 15 years :D.
i even recive some funny looking earmuffs, but they working fine, and also there is a jack adapter, so you can easily connect any of your favored earmuffs.
So far i didnt have any significant luck, and i didnt ”dig in” properly yet, due very high temperatures outside..
Highly recomended!

Quality device
On my first day, in the garden, I found a 1989 pound coin and a 1914 penny and that’s only after about an hour. Look on Youtube for tips on which settings to use. The device is light and comfortable. It seems to be accurate in telling you what type of thing it’s detected. It has a pointer setting but I still recommend a separate pointer.

Tiene muy buena pinta la calidad de los materiales. Lo k no me ha gustado es k venga directamente sin una caja de Amazon, es decir, va en la misma caja, por lo k en el viaje desde la fbrica hasta mi casa la casa puede llevar algn golpe y el repartidor sabe lo k has comprado, la intimidad no est x ninguna parte, pero de momento muy bien, lleva un DVD y manual, y las 4 pilas AA de duracell ya puestas, y nada ms. El plato es ms pequeo. Lo he encendido y lo paso x el suelo de mi piso y me pone a pitar a lo loco, no s. He de probarlo en la calle.

Ho dato 4 stelle x 2 motivi il primo, che appena arrivato mi sono accorto che era difettoso,alcune funzioni non funzionavano,ma il venditore ha subito provveduto alla sostituzione in tempi record,infatti mi arrivato quello nuovo in 48 ore,che avevo ancora il vecchio in casa da restituire…
Secondo motivo delle 4 stelle x la mancanza di un regolatore del volume del metal,x ch in alcune circostanze veramente forte e fastidioso.
Lo reputo cmq un ottimo prodotto e lo consiglio…

I liked the look on my ten year olds face when he found his first coin on the beach. Something he has wanted for years as loves amateur treasure hunting and previously Panned for gold etc with no results. He loves it and thing Father Christmas is the man.
Per chi non lo sapesse Ace 250 il metal detector della Garrett pi venduto in Italia e probabilmente al mondo! Nonostante i suoi anni vende ancora cara la sua pelle! un entry level di indiscussa qualit fa egregiamente il suo dovere anche se in determinate situazioni da falsi segnali (leggi erba bagnata e terreni troppo mineralizzati) in quel caso provate a scendere con la sensibilit…nella sua configurazione originale regala veramente tante soddisfazioni! ma sono voluto andare oltre e l’ho dotato di cavalletto NOKTA e di una piastra NEL THUNDER (vedi foto al mare) beh vi posso assicurare che le prestazioni sono aumentate di brutto una monetina da 10 cent la sente a 40 cm di profondit senza problemi proprio!! mentre con l’originale siamo sui 20 cm e anche i falsi segnali sono solo un ricordo la spesa in pi ne giustifica l’ulteriore qualit!!! Ha 4 programmi di ricerca pre-impostati e 1 custom,potete discriminare ci che non vi serve…insomma non gli manca niente, Prodotto promosso a pieni voti consigliatissimo a chi vuole avvicinarsi a questo hobby senza spendere una fortuna…se poi volete fargli un upgrade ben venga vi divertirete ancora di pi 🙂

good bit of kit but aint made me any riche
Premetto che non sono un esperto, saranno anni che volevo prendermene uno abbastanza buono ma non troppo costoso e questo mi sembra quello giusto.
L’unica pecca che non ho ancora capito come funzionano le discriminazioni varie perch quando ho impostato “coin” ho trovato un rubinetto, un chiodo e una lattina e di monete niente, in pratica suonava lo stesso anche se non era una moneta, forse devo ancora imparare bene come funziona, molto utile la funzione pinpointer, peccato che non ho ancora capito se si pu abbassare il volume perch appena lo accendi e trovi qualcosa fa un casino assurdo.
