This grill is really good and has served us well. Cooks the food quickly and saves all the hassle that comes with traditional charcoal bbqs. However, not sure they are built to last. Ours now has brown burn rings on the grill plate surface, in-line with the heating element underneath (see photo). Now we have excess smoke from the grill plates and not sure if safe to cook on any longer. The grill hasn’t been used excessively so a little disappointing.
Not as good as the real thing or even gas bbq but so quick and easy to get going and clean in comparison to the other two

Can’t understand the negative reviews, I have used this a number of times now and find it brilliant, cooks through really well and I personally find the temp control no problem at all, if you want quick and easy cooking outside with minimal mess and effort it’s perfect.

We have only used this outside. Although you don’t get the full barbecue experience, it is quick and easy to use. It’s also easy to clean.
Love this especially for a barbecue alone without the hassle of firefighting etc and all the mess to clean up. Can sit on your table as well so versatile.
This was so easy to put together – took me just a little while (which is a miracle in itself!) and it is easy to use. We have used it numerous times since purchase and it is so quick and easy. The only negative thing for me is that the legs do not feel very steady for an outdoor BBQ.

Got one of these from a recommendation from a friend and so glad I did, really easy to set up and cooking in a couple of minutes, easy to clean and the temperature control nice and simple too
We found the cooking ability on this BBQ really great and easy, adjustments for heat and a thermometer on the lid to easily gauge when the food might be done.
We live in an apartment complex with a balcony so this was the top choice of electric BBQs in terms of affordability and quality. We’ve also used it indoors but it does take up a lot of space, our entire stove space is taken up by the grill dome.
Similar to other reviews, the stand is a bit unstable even on a flat surface but it doesn’t feel unsafe at all. You couldn’t put a lot of weight to strain the stand I think, but I don’t this will be a problem when just having a BBQ.

I give this five starts as it is a great grill but WOW I wouldn’t pay the retail on Amazon nor the sale price that’s crazy I bought mine from B&M for 50 and it’s exact same!
We really like this grill. We got it as an alternative to a new gas barbecue and it does the job. It’s fairly easy to set up, and very easy to use. It heats up very quickly and cooks everything very well. We’ve cooked burgers, chops and steaks on it so far. The fat runs off into a little tray underneath. We didn’t buy this as a ‘healthy grill’ however, so we use the runoff juices to baste the food as it cooks. Cleaning is easy – just bring the grill part inside and use hot soapy water (keeping the electric connection dry).
We keep the grill part indoors but leave the stand outside, covered with a bin liner.
We haven’t used the grill indoors yet, but there’s no reason why you shouldn’t.
All in all, very pleased with it!
Super easy to set up, took 5 minutes literally, great that its so versatile as have used it indoors and out, plenty of surface area for cooking only downside is that the base should be heavier as a good wind would blow it over… should be metal rather than plastic. Considering having a more solid base made to house it.

Great barbecue grill. Ideal for the British weather when you never know until the last minute if it’s going to rain. The barbecue heats up quickly and you are ready to go. Easy to clean afterwards too.
Purchased these for our guests to use in their self contained accommodation. Really pleased with them. They are easy to put together, and in use are quick to heat up (5 mins) and cook the food in minutes. As the grill plates are non stick they are easy to clean off afterwards.
Whilst you don’t get the authentic bbq charcoal taste on the food they are really quick, easy and safe to use as an alternative.
There’s something about grill marks that’s really satisfying to everyone… this bit of kit does that amazingly!

Perfect for a high rise that doesn’t allow gas or charcoal grills. Yet detachable for counter top cooking inside. Fat drips away and gets separated. Easy to clean the non stick surface.
Bought as a Xmas present and for us to use at our caravan so not used it yet but was well received.

I purchased this George Fireman Bbq grill for my hubby’s birthday in the New Year. I thought I’d check it as the box arrived with a few knocks, but inside the grill, it’s lid and leg all look in perfect condition. The grill measures 17 1/2 inches wide in diameter, plenty big enough for several steaks. The clever drip box underneath is a good design. Putting the grill on the leg and feet is very straightforward, likewise putting the handle on the lid was easy. We haven’t used it to cook with yet but I cam say it heated up super quick when we turned it on. We are looking forward to trying it out. It comes with instructions and timings for various foods. It comes with a 2 year guarantee, but by registering with the George Foreman website you can add another year, making it a generous 3 years. I’ll update this review with photos when we use it on my hubby’s birthday.
Edit: No photos as yet (sorry) but I can say it’s a super grill to cook on, the steaks, mushrooms and tomatoes we cooked on it cooked evenly with lovely grill marks on them, we cooked at level 4 with the lid on. It did smoke rather a lot to begin with, not great on a cold January indoors, but the smoke stopped after a short while. The food looked good and tasted good, we didn’t find the stand wobbled as others have mentioned. My only negative point is cleaning it has to be hand washed and it’s big so fitting it in a standard sink doesn’t work. It is non stick though so cleaning it wasn’t tough just awkward with the size, the drawer underneath caught the fats and that was easily cleaned in the dishwasher. It’s a really good grill, easier to get it going than a real outdoor bbq and easier to store. At 79 it’s a bargain too.

Does the job well, dissapointed in the plastic quality of the bbq base, somehow flimsy; enough for a small family..no need for trouble (gas bottle refills, charcoal, etc); you rather pay the label

Love how hassle free this is to have a BBQ. No need to wait for coals or need to buy gas. Simply plug in and start cooking! Our only issue is ours is really wobbly, no matter where we put it and on a brand new level patio! It’s still fine to cook on, but the wobble makes it feel like a less superior product. It’s also really easy to clean the cooking plate. If they can make it more sturdy then it will be so much better! Still happy with it and enjoying some last-minute easy BBQs.

I was without an oven whilst work was carried out on my house… this was a big help! I cooked meats, corn on the cob and other veg quickly with little fuss.
Although I now have an oven this is so quick and food tasty that we are continuing to use.
Fab bit of kit if you dont want to faff with gas or coals like me.
Cooks quickly. Still get grill marks which adds flavour. Most impressed with 40 mins to cook medium spatchcocked chicken.
We decided on this as no messing with gas bottles or charcoal etc just plug in and go. Also very easy to clean.

If anybody is having problems with the heat output and control then it may be a faulty mains lead.
Initially It does take a bit of trial and error to master the correct heat setting, however I’ve not had any issues thereafter.
Easy to clean and cooks a decent quantity of food.
Has five temperature settings, which is great when your putting less/more food on the grill and the drip tray collects all the grease for easy cleaning.
It’s big enough to cook a good amount of food on there and when detached from the stand, sets itself up as the perfect tabletop grill. Whether rain or shine you can BBQ!

Used many times already cooks well, more than big enough for four people and easy to clean. The only drawback is petty, but I was surprised that it was not that sturdy feels quite loose after connecting to base / legs, but just a minor irritation.
It’s a George Foreman, it’s a BBQ, works exactly as you expect a George Foreman to work, even my Father in law who hates anything that’s not traditional cannot get enough of it.

We’ve used it for lunch and dinner so many times. It’s super easy to use, easy to clean, and it feels healthy as it drains the fat. It doesn’t give quite the same taste as the charcoal on a normal BBQ, but I’d take that any day for the ease of use! A*****
