Excellent at first….but..
This grill is really good and has served us well. Cooks the food quickly and saves all the hassle that comes with traditional charcoal bbqs. However, not sure they are built to last. Ours now has brown burn rings on the grill plate surface, in-line with the heating element underneath (see photo). Now we have excess smoke from the grill plates and not sure if safe to cook on any longer. The grill hasn’t been used excessively so a little disappointing.

Love this – so much less hassle than a BBQ when you just want something quick. Great that it can be used indoors too, especially in the English weather.
We run it at full power all the time, and I’d like that to be a bit hotter for when you need it, so we have the option to run it at less than full the rest of the time. Cooking times seem to be a lot longer than the instructions say though.

Good size grill - easy to move around
We have only used this outside. Although you don’t get the full barbecue experience, it is quick and easy to use. It’s also easy to clean.

Electric BBQ Grill
This was so easy to put together – took me just a little while (which is a miracle in itself!) and it is easy to use. We have used it numerous times since purchase and it is so quick and easy. The only negative thing for me is that the legs do not feel very steady for an outdoor BBQ.

My friends scoffed when I bought this, saying it would take hours to cook a burger. Rubbish.
Food cooks really quickly with the lid on and setting 4.5. It is so practical, easy to clean and I love the grease catcher. I’ve used it in the garden for myself and cooked for 6. It is a big grill and when it rained, I brought it inside and cooked on the coffee table. Amazing. Someone wrote that you don’t get a bbq taste as from coals, I always burn some sausages on it first to give it that charred flavour on everything else and I would say that the flavour is just as authentic as a coal bbq. I recommend wholeheartedly this bbq

Honestly this thing is amazing can’t believe they haven’t marketed it as an eco friendly BBQ. No more running down the shops for charcoal and fire lighters. And it just wipes clean once your done would recommend the George foreman sponges too as they are super soft and won’t damage the plate. You won’t regret buying this if you love cooking outside.

Heats up quickly but you can’t beat the BBQ flavour missing from these hot plates.
Good for burgers and bacon but sausages and chicken just taste bland because it doesn’t char anything.
I use it in the awning as it’s got the big lid to keep it safe and put a small pan on it to do the eggs. It saves stinking out my new caravan as fat smells linger. I assume putting a pan on will remove the coating eventually but I try not to move it once on.

We really like this grill. We got it as an alternative to a new gas barbecue and it does the job. It’s fairly easy to set up, and very easy to use. It heats up very quickly and cooks everything very well. We’ve cooked burgers, chops and steaks on it so far. The fat runs off into a little tray underneath. We didn’t buy this as a ‘healthy grill’ however, so we use the runoff juices to baste the food as it cooks. Cleaning is easy – just bring the grill part inside and use hot soapy water (keeping the electric connection dry).
We keep the grill part indoors but leave the stand outside, covered with a bin liner.
We haven’t used the grill indoors yet, but there’s no reason why you shouldn’t.
All in all, very pleased with it!

Base not steady so care required
Super easy to set up, took 5 minutes literally, great that its so versatile as have used it indoors and out, plenty of surface area for cooking only downside is that the base should be heavier as a good wind would blow it over… should be metal rather than plastic. Considering having a more solid base made to house it.

Quick, efficient and clean alternative to a gas or charcoal BBQ
Purchased these for our guests to use in their self contained accommodation. Really pleased with them. They are easy to put together, and in use are quick to heat up (5 mins) and cook the food in minutes. As the grill plates are non stick they are easy to clean off afterwards.
Whilst you don’t get the authentic bbq charcoal taste on the food they are really quick, easy and safe to use as an alternative.
Grill marks 😍
There’s something about grill marks that’s really satisfying to everyone… this bit of kit does that amazingly!
Cooks burgers, steaks, hotdogs and literally so much more, nice for the winter when you fancy a cheeky BBQ, and even better for when you got a few people around in the summer as an additional grill!
Only downside is that it’s too short, I’m a 5″7 woman and the grill top is just by my waist, have to lean down quite a bit! Feel like a giraffe getting water out of a rive

Great for steaks if you live with a vegetaria
Heats up in 5 minutes so I can sneak in a steak from outside the back door in a trice. (No offensive burning flesh smells in the house) The grill lifts out so the non stick surface is easily washed under a tap. It won’t work if the grill is not properly returned to the base and the cable securely plugged in. I’m a charcoal addict but this simplifies BBQing.

I purchased this George Fireman Bbq grill for my hubby’s birthday in the New Year. I thought I’d check it as the box arrived with a few knocks, but inside the grill, it’s lid and leg all look in perfect condition. The grill measures 17 1/2 inches wide in diameter, plenty big enough for several steaks. The clever drip box underneath is a good design. Putting the grill on the leg and feet is very straightforward, likewise putting the handle on the lid was easy. We haven’t used it to cook with yet but I cam say it heated up super quick when we turned it on. We are looking forward to trying it out. It comes with instructions and timings for various foods. It comes with a 2 year guarantee, but by registering with the George Foreman website you can add another year, making it a generous 3 years. I’ll update this review with photos when we use it on my hubby’s birthday.
Edit: No photos as yet (sorry) but I can say it’s a super grill to cook on, the steaks, mushrooms and tomatoes we cooked on it cooked evenly with lovely grill marks on them, we cooked at level 4 with the lid on. It did smoke rather a lot to begin with, not great on a cold January indoors, but the smoke stopped after a short while. The food looked good and tasted good, we didn’t find the stand wobbled as others have mentioned. My only negative point is cleaning it has to be hand washed and it’s big so fitting it in a standard sink doesn’t work. It is non stick though so cleaning it wasn’t tough just awkward with the size, the drawer underneath caught the fats and that was easily cleaned in the dishwasher. It’s a really good grill, easier to get it going than a real outdoor bbq and easier to store. At 79 it’s a bargain too.

A BBQ Game change
I’m known as the BBQ Queen but during Covid times Ivebeen reluctant to fire up the big old charcoal BBQ for just the 2 of us. A friend had one of these and I was super impressed. I’m working from home so can serve a beautiful seared tuna cooked outside in 20 minutes for lunch or as the nights get colder a tasty steak inside for dinner. Last night I cooked gammon steaks and fresh pineapple. This is a BBQ game change

Living on a modern housing development with a small garden this seemed to be the perfect solution to outside cooking without annoying the neighbours with bbq smoke. Only used it a handful of times but really pleased with the results so far. Easy to put together. Very easy to clean and cooks quickly and evenly. When it’s on offer it is also very affordable. Highly recommend.

Perfect when without an oven!
I was without an oven whilst work was carried out on my house… this was a big help! I cooked meats, corn on the cob and other veg quickly with little fuss.
Although I now have an oven this is so quick and food tasty that we are continuing to use.

It’s great but I would definitely not class it as a BBQ. Our BBQ broke so we bought this but to be fair it’s great but I miss the BBQ taste and smell. You can use this in or outdoor as long as you have a cable. It is very easy to set up but the stand it fits into is very flimsy and to me does not seem very sturdy for the size and weight of the grill. We place it on a table top now as I just don’t feel the stand is safe. Not too bad to clean it we use tin foil to cover certain areas for ease of cleaning. Holds a fair bit of meat and bits on the grill surface.

Great Barbecue
Used many times already cooks well, more than big enough for four people and easy to clean. The only drawback is petty, but I was surprised that it was not that sturdy feels quite loose after connecting to base / legs, but just a minor irritation.

Was a bit worried when I purchased it as I’ve never used an electric bbq, but was really pleased. Heats up quickly, cooks perfectly and leaves grill marks. Foods tastes really good and it’s fairly easy to clean. Have use sit both in and outside the house, depending on what you’re cooking there might be some smoke so I’ve been using it under the hob 🙂

My wife and I were at loggeheads on days where is would sporadically become hot and I would want to reach for the coal BBQ as it is a pain to set up, and then clear after use. She actually suggested to get a standard large george foreman after seeing something on the internet that showed a “hack” which was just setting one up on the table outdoors so you could cook to get the outdoor cooking experinece. I started looking on the internet a after dismissing the suggestion but then come across the george foreman bbq which left me intrigued. After watching several video reviews online I decided it was worth the leap of faith as the cooking temperature on this product is far higher then the standard products from this manufacturer….
I have to say it is brilliant! It sears meat well, it gets up to temperature really quickly, no messing about, and it cleans so easy. Putting the product together is easy, and it can be used indoor and outdoors – no more weather disruptions.
In comparison to a charcoal bbq, if there was no fuss, mess, and painful cleaning, then admittedly the coal bbq would be the choice for that ‘charcoal taste’. But for a family, or a flat owner, or someone who wants to quickly have a bbq day this is the one for you. No more halloumi falling into thr coal but still getting the desired effect.
I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this product to anyone.
My wife and I were at loggeheads on days where is would sporadically become hot and I would want to reach for the coal BBQ as it is a pain to set up, and then clear after use. She actually suggested to get a standard large george foreman after seeing something on the internet that showed a “hack” which was just setting one up on the table outdoors so you could cook to get the outdoor cooking experinece. I started looking on the internet a after dismissing the suggestion but then come across the george foreman bbq which left me intrigued. After watching several video reviews online I decided it was worth the leap of faith as the cooking temperature on this product is far higher then the standard products from this manufacturer….
I have to say it is brilliant! It sears meat well, it gets up to temperature really quickly, no messing about, and it cleans so easy. Putting the product together is easy, and it can be used indoor and outdoors – no more weather disruptions.
In comparison to a charcoal bbq, if there was no fuss, mess, and painful cleaning, then admittedly the coal bbq would be the choice for that ‘charcoal taste’. But for a family, or a flat owner, or someone who wants to quickly have a bbq day this is the one for you. No more halloumi falling into thr coal but still getting the desired effect.
I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this product to anyone.

An amazing bbq for whatever space you have. Over the years we have owned three of these bbqs and every time we buy one they have made slight improvements. It cooks well. Cleans easily and can be used indoors or outdoors
Wish the lid was permanently fixed to base but we are well used to it by now

Good bit of kit.
Was happy with it. Bought this for instant heat when doing school activities. Was great for doing huge hot dogs quickly! Less good at doing frozen burgers. If you’re having a big BBQ – don’t buy frozen and you’ll be laughing.
Great indoor outdoor grill
Love this , read all reviews first also saw on Mrs hinch Instagram mixed reviews but I thought I’d give it a go , it’s great love it use indoor and out washed easily the lid is great keeps moisture in heats up well

I’ve used the George Foreman 22460 Indoor and Outdoor Grill several times and it is fantastic. All the flavour of cooking outdoors without the hassle. It heats up very quickly (almost instantaneous) when finished cooking it is so easy to clean because its non stick surface. I would highly recommend this grill to anyone who like cooking.
