The product works well on moquette/carpet. The battery has an acceptable life only for small spaces. It does not take the crumbs at the corners with the wall, you have to push them away with a broom to get them to be caught.
I am generally happy with the appearance.

I have used this vac in our small house now for a week or so and have been really impressed with its maneuverability, suction and, basically everything to do with it! A great piece of kit, would highly recommend. I haven’t tried it out on stairs as we don’t have any but it is light enough to do the job.

bought the model with 1 battery, a little disappointed with the limited life as only being used for ‘light’ work in a upstairs bedroom – with hindsight should have got the model with 2 batteries!
Dust blocks
I like this machine but do find it difficult to empty the dust out. We have a dog and I find the hairs and dust block the dust collector quite regularly and quickly. Not great having to scoop everything out with a skewer!

This is a great machine light weight with great suction power and doing the stairs is easy. There is no power cable to bother about and you aren’t trying to manoeuvre a heavy machine. You are done in a fraction of the time,I can’t fault it, the best vacuum I have ever had.

Hoover...small but mighty!
Small but perfectly formed. I was doubtful about this vacuum cleaner as it is quite small. However it’s the business! I have a short haired terrier and it cleans the hairs up no problem. There should be enough power to do the whole house however it’s so light and convenient I find myself using it daily rather than on a housework day. Glad I chose this one

Lightweight handy Vacuum
Happy with the Hoover H free 500. It is lightweight and easy to use. Good suction and battery lasts well. I had a Dyson Cordless before and the Hoover is definitely a good cheaper alternative. A little disappointed with the emptying mechanism. Difficult to get dust out of tube and requires a stick to pull out however this is the only disappointment and not a major issue. Easy storage as compacts to fit into a standard kitchen cupboard.

This Hoover is a breeze to use very light , suction is great. It’s so easy to use and fit the parts together , can t fault the hoover in any way . I would have to say if you take out the 3 year accidental cover that is recommended your guarantee with Hoover is void ! I phoned to register mine today and this is what I was told by Hoover ! Their excuse was they sell extra cover and as I had gone else where my guarantee is void !

Cracking Hoover, lightweight powerful and great for pet hair. Even though there does not look like much pet hair on the carpet it’s amazing how full it gets. Such a great product especially if you have cats or dogs. Easy to use, different functions and battery lasts long enough to do a 2 bedroom flat with power to spare. Would recommend.

No stairs here, hence no idea. Suction power is as it is. We don’t use the turbo mode, but daughter used, works fine. Two batteries was the decisive factor for me. Happy with the purchase! Lightweight, comes with a bag for the accessories. We use mainly the longer lasting hand device option. Overall a happy customer here!

I needed something light and manoeuvrable and it definitely is. Certainly has much more power on the turbo mode though as everyone says the battery doesn’t last as long as I’d ideally like though for daily quick pick ups, even on pet hair, it has been great so far. I’m not remotely bothered that the collection box is fiddly – small price to pay for having something so light and easy.

Really pleased with the product, but the delivery by Amazon was terrible. The product was left in a place where anyone could have taken it, and the person who left it did not ring a bell or phone or anything. Felt lucky to get it!!
I bought this to go in the kitchen for quick clean up. It works really well, great suction, very lightweight. Not enough battery life or ooomph for the whole house but great for quick clean ups in between more thorough big cleans.. I would recommend this product.

Living in a 3 storey Town house with two flights of stairs, two landings and a hall vacuuming with our previous Henriette was a nightmare! The Hoover H-FREE 500 3in1 is a a purchase I wish I had made years ago. Easy to assemble, lightweight, a delight to use with excellent suction, a superb array of configurations to deal with every type of surface (carpet brush and light is very helpful) and situation. The battery power is adequate for a whole house clean, and we put it straight back into the wall fixing and charge again when finished. The components are simple to remove for filter and canister emptying and cleaning. On the whole if you need a versatile cleaner at an affordable price that delivers on performance the Hoover H-FREE 500 3in1 is for you.

Very versatile. Well balanced to use and not heavy. Only minus “dust bag” capacity low, but ease of use overcomes this! On boost tried to lift carpet !!! Even makes hoovering fun–husbands favourite man toy.
Worth the money
Really satisfied with this! I bought it when it was on sale, so it makes me happy. An extra battery would be more than welcome but personally not having a big flat I can manage to hoover it in 15 min. Not suitable for big places o really big cleanings.

Carpet regularly cleaned with robovac but this picked up so much dirt I was amazed.
Hoovered whole house one charge, including skirting boards and dust webs on the walls/ceiling. Didn’t need turbo.
Pet accessory really good for stairs.
Like that it’s compact to store. Still can’t believe how powerful this thing is.
The weight is fine for hoovering floor but above head height it does make the wrists ache a bit. Emptying is a bit fiddly.
Bought second battery just in case although doubt it’ll be needed.
Overall a decent little hoover and very impressed.

Hoover H-FREE 500 Pets 3in1 Cordless
Wanted a cordless powerful vacuum to replace my heavy corded one. Meets some of the criteria but not all.
Likes: lightweight, manoeuvrability, good for picking up animal hairs from rugs etc., very necessary with 2 dogs and 2 cats.
Dislikes: Needs emptying very, very frequently and have to manually ease the contents out. Hoover should consider a slightly larger container to make this less messy.
Will it replace my corded vacuum? No, but it has a good place in my cleaning cupboard for a quick and lightweight clean.
One battery included, not two?
I purchased this hoover as the reviews all mention two batteries and felt this was good value compared to other models (I couldn’t tell from the description the number), but I only recieved one?
It would seem from the write up’s that two would be required for a decent clean time.

Vacuum just arrived. I tried it out with what power was left in the battery. Really easy to use the machine and very easy to assemble. It seemed to pick up my dog’s short hairs very easily. Hopefully, this will be the cleaner for me. I have tried several and this is the best so far.

The two batteries supply more than enough power and are easily charged. I have a three bedroom house and 2 flights of stairs and can clean whole house twice on one charge. It’s very lightweight and can be stored easily when reduced to 69cms tall thanks to clever design The rubbish storage unit can be easily emptied and cleaned. Just what I needed
I hate vacuuming so much, I wanted to try anything that would make me more likely to clean up and this is it! No need to unravel cord and plug in various outlets in order to reach distant corners, or push my lumbering upright around the place, this is lightweight and very easy to use, and I’ve found myself using it most days which is not something I’ve experienced before! Suction isn’t as strong as a regular upright, unfortunately, but great to use regularly to keep on top. It’s freestanding which is a bonus, though I chose to wall-mount mine. I had already noted in the previous reviews that other people had found emptying the dirt container quite frustrating, so I never really tried to empty it the way you’re supposed to, by opening the container bottom, and always remove the container from the unit, and empty it from the larger top side instead. The only downside I’ve found is the wall-mounting hook often hooks on to my cardigan/clothes on the backstroke which can be annoying, and there is nowhere to store the additional tools on the actual unit. I swap between carpet sweeper and crevice tool often, so I have to remember to carry the crevice tool around with me, but it would be nice to have it clipped on to the carpet rod for easy use. Overall I’m very pleased with this little machine!

So lightweight and manouverable that its perfect for someone will a disability. I’ve a chihuahua that sheds lots of hair but this hoover picks them up fantastically even without using turbo. Easily stored too. Only drawback is that it states it comes with 2 batteries but doesnt.

I love this hoover. My only disappointment is the battery life. It doesn’t last long and I basically have to charge it after every use. Other than that it’s great.

Honestly amazed, it is so easy to clean too as basically everything comes apart.
It automatically comes with a 1 year manufacturer guarantee (even though it says 10 years in Hoover’s guarantee leaflet?) so don’t worry about buying one of Amazon’s.
Honestly, it is amazing. Even gets those basically unbreakable spiders webs too so that’s a big win.
*Only things I’d say is it gets quite hot quickly, but that may be due to being nearly 22’C degrees and I’m on a narrow boat so it’s probably hotter inside.
It’s also a bit heavy, but is quite light when using no tube attachments.

I’ve been using this for the past month and I would recommend this product if you live in a small place. It has good suction power, it can get increased with the power button but the battery doesn’t last that long if you do so. It is easy to move around, gets in small corners easily, it’s very light and fun to use! My only downside is the battery, it doesn’t last that long, but it covers my 2 bedroom flat with one charge (unless you go on full power all the way). It also has great tools to remove dust from frames/curtains/high ceilings.

OMG – what an upgrade from the cordless Dyson V6 purchased 5-6 years ago. Lighter, easier to manoeuvre and 2 batteries that each last longer. Quick and easy to operate, tidy storage. Does a great job.

I got in a pickle ordering this but it was soon rectified by Amazon, I was quite hesitant about ordering a stick hoover as I felt that (a) it would be too heavy for me to use and (b) it would’nt have enough suction. I was wrong, this is just perfect for me, it IS very light and the suction is good enough for a 2 person no pet couple, it runs for at least 29 mins, long enough for me to hoover our 2 bedroom bungalow, and with a couple of extra buttons I can use the booster and also the carpet button How I wish I had purchased this earlier.

This hoover is so light and suction is pretty good too. Doesn’t hold a lot of waste so needs emptied quite regularly. My only gripe with this hoover is the way the hairs get stuck to the brush. Quite hard to get off. But this hoover wins hands down over my last dyson.

Was really undecided on wich Vacuum cleaner to buy. I eventually decided to go for this one. I’m so glad I did because I love it!! It’s brilliant! The suction power is amazing.. Blows my old Vax hand held out of the water!, The Motorised pet head is brilliant, I love how all of the attachments are on Board. It’s brilliant on Carpets and Hard wood Floors, also great how it can be charged on the dock the only 1 Bad point that I have found is the battery doesnt last as long as I like but you can buy a spare one, also some models come with 2 batterys. Mine didn’t over all Brilliant vacum very happy with it 🙂
I have tried so many cordless Vacuums in the past so I was a bit sceptical about spending so much on a new one, I am so glad that I did.
I have a cat and a dog so obviously I need a powerful cleaner with good suction and brush head to be able to clean up all the hair and mess animals make.
Due to arthritis I found the standard Vacuum heavy and bulky as I had to have one upstairs and one downstairs as lifting one up and down the stairs was sometimes a problem. This Vacuum is so lightweight I can easily carry it up and down the stairs, so I really recommend it if you do have similar issues.
All of the tools and accessories fit on the Vacuum so no worries about losing them or in my case the dog finding them and eating them 🙂 and changing the tools is so easy same when wishing to turn the cleaner into a handheld…. simple press of a button and you have a handheld.
As this is a pet Vacuum it has to be powerful, I would say that on standard mode it does not have the power to pick up all the hair on carpet, duvets etc so you really need to use the turbo mode. The turbo mode gives a huge power boost to the Vacuum but does drain the battery VERY quickly, but you really only need it when picking up stubborn pet hair. On standard mode it is powerful enough to be used for general day to day cleaning and dusting etc.
The brush works really well on carpet and can be switched off for use on a hard floor. Also the pet brush attachment works really well at picking up pet hair or carpet with heavy footfall where it gets a lot of use and would need the extra brush.
There are 2 batteries supplied with this Vacuum, which I thought excellent a bonus, but actually you will need both batteries fully charged to hopefully do the entire house obviously depending on how big your house is and how many pets or messy kids you have or a messy husband…. if you are someone who Vacuums every day then you may be OK as you will have less dirt to worry about and can fly thru the cleaning. But if you need to use the turbo mode use it wisely as you will run out of power quickly. I wish the charger came with 2 charger cables so we could charge both batteries at once in 6 hours instead of 12 hours.
The dirt collection cylinder needs to have the instructions printed on it for people like me who do not read the instructions 🙂 when I first emptied the container I noticed it was small and I had to stick my fingers inside it to pull out all the dust and hair. Then one day I accidentally pushed the middle section of the container up and voila out the middle came out and emptying it is now so much easier.
The dirt collection chamber is quite small so you have to empty it move frequently that some others but for the extra power and how easy it is to empty I am OK with this.
In the end I guess I am more than happy with this Vacuum, clears the space of two Hoovers, means I can take it up and down the stairs easily, has great power when needed. What more could you want…. well maybe a bit cheaper would have helped, but it sometimes is true that you get what you pay for and on this occasion that is true. I just hope it lasts a long time to justify the price…..
Having somehow accumulated 4 cats and just bringing a puppy into the home, as well as having a toddler who has perfected the art of leaving crumbs wherever he goes, I knew I needed a new vacuum. I wanted something lightweight that I could carry about the house without worrying about leads or anything else. I also have carpets upstairs and hard floor downstairs, so I needed something that could do both, but I was primarily worried about hair, dust and crumbs in the carpet.
The Hoover H-FREE 500 Pets Energy is really small and extremely lightweight. I was a bit worried that the size of the capture container would be too small, but it works out perfectly. It does fill up quite quickly if you have dirty floors, but it is really easy to unclip it and empty it with no fiddling. I found this so much easier to change than my previous Dyson which requires 20 minutes of swearing for me to empty when needed. Having used this one now I wouldn’t want a larger one as I really love how compact the vacuum is, and how you can easily lift it to get cobwebs or dust from higher places as well.
It picks up extremely well, getting hair, dust, mud, dirt, crumbs and unknown bits of alien matter from my carpet, things I didn’t even realize were there. The small suction attachment is extremely powerful and ideal for stairs which get heavy use. The larger attachment is easy to change from hard floor to carpet, and I like the addition of a light which lets you easily see if you’ve decimated the dirt.
Battery life is the only downside with any hands free vacuum really, I’m getting around 15-20 minutes on turbo power or 40 minutes on normal power, which is probably about the amount of time I want to spend vacuuming anyway. The bonus of buying the Energy version is the extra battery which effectively doubles your life, the battery clicks in quickly and can be recharged with a simple lead at the socket. Compared to some models that require you to plug the whole vacuum in, this is much better, as you can easily recharge the second battery whilst using the first and then switching over if you have a bigger job to do.
Overall I’m very impressed with this Hoover and it has really made cleaning up after my horde simple and easy.

I love how you can basically design this hoover for the cleaning you are doing – making it smaller, longer, lighter etc. It really helped me when I was hoovering the stairs and down the back of tight spots, but the suction of this cordless was definitely not up to scratch of my old plug in dyson. The design of this hoover is definitely it’s unique selling point, and it was apparently so intriguing sitting in my dining room that my husband decided to try it out on multiple occasions, something he has never done before! I also like that it comes with 2 batteries so you can charge one whilst using the other. 5* for design, but I’ve held onto my old plug in for general vacuuming on whole rooms.

This is a great addition to your cleaning needs. A light weight easy to use Hoover. It comes with a range of accessories you can swap and use as well as two rechargeable battery packs. Really handy if you have kids and pets as it comes with a pet hair attachment head and for kids you can run behind them and clean up their crumbs with ease.
It turns from a duster to a hoover for wood and carpet surfaces with a click of a button and not at all fiddly. As it is wireless you can get to all areas of your house and can also use it to clean the car as the hoover detaches and becomes smaller which is perfect for compact spaces.

Life Changing for those who have have a traditional cord hoover.
I have purchased my first house recently and had a VAX pet hoover with a cord which I thought done a great job at sucking up all the dirt and hairs.
The problem with my VAX hoover was I had to plug it into multiple outlets, the size having to store it and hovering upstairs was a nightmare with the poor little VAX normally ending up being upside down on its back.
I have been using this Hoover H Free for about 2 weeks and now I am suspicious if my VAX hoover was ever doing a good job. The amount of dust/pet hair which was picked up on my first test with the Hoover was astounding, while this not visible on my carpets in the first place I am impressed that the Hoover H Free 500 was capable of doing such a deep clean.
What I love about this hoover compared to my regular hoover is it so lightweight, so easy to move, and I can do areas such as the stairs without putting up a fight.
Because it does not require plugging in you can use it on hardwood floors to pick up any crumbs in a second. It’s been great on picking up pet hair and any food droppings etc.
The handheld dust attachment is quite good for lamps, coffee tables etc. It has done a great job when I have used it, but I am not too sure if the soft bristles are picking up the dust or the hoover suction as the bristles will clump with dust residue.
Battery Life I managed to do my whole house without the battery running out, I also tested this on turbo mode which makes the battery life runs out faster but generally it’s great that you’re given two batteries so you always keep one on charge and swap it out.
Things I dislike about this hoover is the rotating brush bar – I’ve twice had to cut out tangled hair which easily wraps around it. The rotating brush bar does remove easily, but I never had this problem with my VAX.
Also, the buttons are a bit confusing, sometimes I’m pressing the purple buttons trying to get it to go into the handheld or storage mode and nothing happens, not sure if this is just me getting familiar with the Hoover though.
Overall — the perks outweigh the cons, I am chuffed with my decision to purchase this hoover. I recommend that you will feel it be money well spent and life-changing for anyone getting frustrated with a cord hoover.

I bought this vacuum to support our main Henry Hoover.
Firstly the Pros:
1. It’s lightweight
2. The battery is small and detaches easily to recharge
3. The dust pod also detaches easily and can be washed out under a tap
4. Does the job

1. The battery life isn’t amazing. I got about 15mins on Turbo. However, this was enough to clean the whole house, so no real problems
I bought this vacuum as a surprise for my wife, it came as Amazon arranged, but it was faulty , rang Hoover who were very helpful, said it was a circuit board problem, Sent it back after contacting Amazon, another was sent but did not arrive , even though it stated handed to resident on tracking , not us it was’nt ,or any of our neighbours. Contacted Amazon again who kindly refunded our purchase which we did not want, we wanted another Hoover vac . Few days later we ordered it again and it arrived . Amazon seem to get lot of bad press but with us they were brilliant. This Hoover vacuum is very impressive, powerful ,lightweight, it stands up on its own and we would totally recommend. The twin battery is excellent, we manage to do our 3 bed twice with one charge. It stores easy and the tools are part of the machine. Why 4 stars, to be picky there no crevice tool and the dust canister is a little small and tapers towards the exit and can be a slight performance removing the debris but not enough to be annoying. For the money its brilliant , having had 2 others of well known makes, this is easily the best. Family and friends have seen it and want one.
Pros:- Lightweight and easily maneuverable. Much easier to handle than more expensive models from other manufacturers. Two batteries are a big plus. Decent suction coupled with powered rotating brush in the cleaning head provide good lifting performance.
Cons:- Juts a minor one – dust collection container could do with being bigger.
Overall an excellent hoover. Would recommend.

I think the suction for carpets is GOOD but was disappointed when it came to tackling tiled kitchen floor. I found it didn’t pick up into corners and having two spaniels hair collects. it also left little bits my cylinder corded would have collected.
It is light weight but feel a couple of little wheels at rear just to push it along while not in use would be beneficial.
It stands free when not in use and has handy bracket for recharging dock ( still undecided where I want this.) Also feel some kind of handle for holding while vacing on the shaft. sometimes you just need to give it that bit of extra pressure as with any other vac.
The dirt container is small and a little bit fiddly to empty. I do like the 40 min charge which is better than the dyson and plenty enough for my three bed bungalow.
Generally I am happy with it but glad I got it on offer as I think it is only worth the money I paid for it.

Loving it so far nice and light. Super light and good suction but not the strongest. Def benefit from two batteries . Better for a small house or flat though or as a second vacuum for quick or spot cleaning for bigger houses. V.easy to use different attachments or turn into a handheld that can also be used in your car. Small dust compartment than usual but not an issue for me.
This cordless vacuum cleaner wasn’t on my radar until I tried out some other brands and realised how heavy they felt in use. I decided that some of the brands were too expensive and then stumbled across the Hoover H-FREE 500 range. These cordless cleaners are light, maneuverable and easy to use. I bought the version with two batteries as I liked the idea of longer cleaning times. This is a very good vacuum cleaner and makes cleaning much quicker than the corded version it replaces. It is easy to store and I use it to clean the whole house and it can easily be pulled out to tackle smaller jobs. The only downside is that it could do with a wider range of attachments. A proper crevice tool and a hose with a duster attachment would make it perfect. A good product that has been very well designed. It is an allrounder that can tackle most cleaning tasks.
Lightweight and compac
Very lightweight, compact and stores easily the spare battery is really useful as is the storage bag. The suction on normal mode isn’t that good but on turbo and carpet mode is brilliant. The waste unit is difficult to empty, its quite small and the dust clogs up and refuses to budge. The whole waste unit unscrews too, to completely remove, but although easier to empty it is very stiff and fiddly to fix back on. Overall I’m pleased with my purchase.
Bought a Dyson two years ago and it packed in. It wasn’t cheap either. The Hoover is much better, doesn’t run out after a few minutes and you can hoover the whole house in one go. Would recommend big time.
This hoover is fantastic! I can use it daily to get all the little hairs and dust from my carpet and bathroom. Battery life and suction is pretty top notch for a handheld. The manoeuvrability is excellent and all the little attachments are great!
When I first received the vacuum and looking at the box it seemed a bit too small for a vacuum to be in there, but this shows how space saving it can be Both myself and my wife have been using this hoover for over 6 weeks now, and can say that I am very impressed with it. Both myself and my wife put together some pro and cons for the vacuum so you can see how we liked and disliked it. There are more pro then con for this vacuum. Where the cons are: – Charging time – Hard floor cleaning – Battery life (when using turbo mode) – only two tools. Pro – Two batteries (21.6 V 2500mah – Each) – Brush on the wand pick up hair from carpet very well – Brush has a notch to cut out the wound-up hair – Space saving – Stands by itself – High suction (Only on turbo mode) – Easy empty rubbish – Light weight – Handy light on floor so you when the brush is working – One button start As you can see that there are more pros for them vacuum then cons for the price and features you cannot go wrong. I would have liked a few more tools so I could use it within the car as with the attach tool it can be a bit fiddley. The brush is very easy to clean out just have to unclip the roller and the whole brush pops out. The vacuum glides over floors and is very easy to move around been that it is light weight. Threre are different models you can choose from and you will need to get the one that will suit you home.
My first impression of the Hoover H-Free 500 Pet was how light the box was. It was fairly straightforward to assemble and the initial charge was enough for me to test it out on my downstairs hard floors and rugs. I find vacuuming a real chore normally from having to lug the machine out to the room I’m working on to plugging in and then almost scrubbing the floor. With the H-Free 500 Pet, it’s much easier. I just grab the vacuum and whizz it round the area. Great for cleaning up after the kids multiple times a day. I was apprehensive to try it on my upstairs carpets at first; with three females all constantly shedding, vacuuming the carpets is a mammoth task I want sure a handheld vacuum would cope with but the Hoover H-Free 500 Pet managed it all with ease. It was embarrassing how much hair and dust it picked up! Even the stairs was an easy job – one I’m ashamed to say wasn’t taken on very often with our big vacuum. The only negative comment I might make about this vacuum is the battery life. My husband has a tendancy to choose the carpet mode (which turns on the rotating brushes) on any floor. I don’t think this is needed on hard floors really but he always switches it on. I think this makes the battery run down quicker but it doesn’t take long to charge and it is a easy enough to do. Just plug it in as I put it away. Overall, I’m very pleased with the Hoover H-Free 500 Pet and very glad I made the switch to cordless.

My H-Free 500 was delivered this morning by a bright friendly courier. The parcel was neatly packed and light to handle and very easy to put together. Found the H Free 500 was very easy to use, worked well on both carpet and hard floor picking up dog hairs and dust fairly efficiently. The LED light helped in dark corners. Downside found the dog hairs quickly blocked the brush so had to stop frequently and clean this out, small dust cup meant I had to keep stopping to empty it as the dog hairs crammed in the top of the cup rather than drop down, this also caused the hair to build up in the pipe which took time to clean out. But overall the Hoover cleaned well leaving clean tidy carpets and floors. Having cleared the dog hair blockage I tried the mini turbo nozzle to do the stairs, found the H-Free 500 light and comfortable to use, good suction left the carpets looking clean and fresh, noted the debris was going through in to the base of the dust cup this time which allowed me to clean the whole area without having to stop to empty it. Overall the machine has good suction, is light and easy to use/empty, leaves the carpets looking fresh and clean.
