I bought the WV2 plus N. The spray/microfibre pad and vac do make cleaning windows much easier and less messy than I found it before (but then I haven’t had much practice the old way). However, I have 2 issues with the vac. Firstly, as at least one (surprisingly not more) reviewers have said, when cleaning indoors you can’t just slide the vac down the window to the bottom because the window sill gets in the way. The only way I can see around this is either to turn the vac sideways (which Karcher seem to advise against) or worse turn it upside down. Interesting that cleaning this part of the window is not shown on any Karcher help videos even though I think most windows will be like this … Second niggle is that karcher seem to say that you should charge it until the light changes from flashing to continuous (60 mins) and then for another 60 mins (which you have to time yourself). With mine the light flashes for 60mins and then goes out. They also say that it should not be left charging overnight, as it will shorten the battery life. Surely they could have made the charger smarter than this (especially as the battery is not easily replaceable)? I think karcher could do much better with their instructions both included with the product and online. Actually there is a third niggle – the water tank is designed so you can’t completely empty it. Why?
2nd Window vac
2nd Karcher window vac I’ve had , bought this 2 replace 1st one ,I had it approx 6 yrs . Great little tool , wudnt be without it . Seems 2 have better suction and slightly quieter . Because it came in a bundle ( with spray and cloth thingy ) I went the whole hog and purchased additional concentrate . I’m doin tiles , windows , slide robes basically anything glass . The concentrate is brilliant for streak free , sparkling finish . This wee bundle makes cleaning effortless now , no more havin to buff up to a shine .

Karcher window vac is really easy to use,powerful enough to go through your window cleaning in no time at all! I have used it on all size of windows at home and my car and I am glad I bought it. Battery on it is long enough for many cleaning windows,although I charge it every time I’ve used it. Great gadget and I’d highly recommend if you like me hate getting water down your arms when doing the windows!

Game changer !
If you have a steamy bathroom with lots of mirrors you need this. Initially my wife was baffled as to why I had purchased this she is now converted now before I’m even out of the shower she’s hoovering the mirrors. Not just mirrors you can use it on the walls & any window around your home. if you create condensation you need one !
window cleaning made easy
I find this useful to clean the excess water from the windows when cleaning them. I bought this to replace our previous karcher WV5 which gave up the ghost after many years service. This one is lighter to use and the spray applicator is very useful.
Great product, sturdy,easy to use.
Lightweight, quiet, quick & simple to use and does an excellent job. I cleaned 2 pairs of large patio doors, inside & out and the large glass garden table in about15 minutes, no smears. The parts seem sturdy and well designed, unlike a previous make i had which leaked if you used it sideways. Definitely recommend.
Good useful gadge
The Karcher10 window vac is a good gadget which does make cleaning the shower and windows much easier. The Vac is much bigger and heavier than I expected which makes it a little bit awkward to use at times. In all honesty the spray and cleaner is not worth the extra amount paid as you can just use your normal cleaner.
Makes cleaning the windows actually fu
Used to remove condensation off windows. Works very well, except for around the edges and bottom, so a little wipe is still necessary, but it makes cleaning that little bit more fun. Also very handy for spillages around the home!

Resisted buying one of these until I used mum’s…. then HAD to have one. Great on windows, mirrors, picture frames… no faffing around with a cloth and water getting everywhere. I might even clean the windows more than once a year now :0)

Window cleaning without the effo
I use my karcher to remove condensation from windows and its brilliant to clean the shower. The small window cleaning bottle and detergent supplied are excellent my conservatory windows are gleaming even my husband passed a comment on how good they looked this is my second purchase as I gave my original one to my son to use

Good suctio
Simple to use, suction is better than I expected and its amazing how much water it actually collects. I used this to remove condensation from my window once and I was shocked.
Keeps Shower Dry
To just dry shower after use this model does the job! Our old karcher broke after 7 years use, was a bit confused by all the different models around now. Chose this as not a big fan of the industrial yellow. This black version blends in with our bathroom better! Impressed how much lighter and quieter this is than our previous karcher. Also seems slightly narrower so getting into smaller areas like the alcoves has been easier. Arrives charged ready for first use!
Its lovely having big windows, lots of light filling the rooms, looking out at what the neighbours are upto, enjoying the garden. Our dogs love them too! Unlike my wife and I and the odd visitor, we don’t run our noses all over the windows leaving trails of dog snot. The windows unfortunately don’t clean themselves and keeping them nice is a bit of a chore. If you believe my lovely wife she is the only one who cleans them, which is not entirely true but almost. What better way of getting a man interested in doing the job than buying him a gadget to do it with. I figured we would be better of putting cash in the cupboard instead of the gadget, at least we have something we can use in a couple of years when the cupboard needs sorting out. So I thought I’d put it to the test, I read the instructions, ok I saw them in the box, good enough. First let’s give this bad boy something to get its teeth in, the French doors, winter had not been kind to them.
Using the wash bottle and cloth thing needs no explanation really, spray and wipe around, job done. Now to test the vac, wipe down and bingo clean windows, light, easy to use, no fuss and very little effort. Could be a fluke or beginners luck, tried it on the big lounge window encrusted with dog goo. Again instant success! Emptying the vac is also easy and requires little effort. So now I have been promoted to cheif window cleaner, rather than feeling unhappy about my promotion i was cool with it. Quick and easy to use it leaves me more time to pursue other busy bloke activities and also puts me in her good books. It even cleaned the huge wardrobe and bathroom mirrors, streak free and crystal clear. I imagine that looking after the wiping blade is key to a longer effective life for the vac, and also assures me of the same. 100% happy with the purchase.
Two attachment sizes make it very practical.
Bought this one (WV2 N plus yellow edition) for the choice of attachments.Small one is very useful for small panels in doors etc.Karcher products always of very good quality.Only issue was a long pre- order time meant I had to wait some time for availability after I ordered during winter months when most useful. Amazon then dropped the price only days after it became available in stock and despatched my order.The product itself is excellent and I still feel it was good value at the price paid.Just annoying practice and poor reward for being patient.Could have cancelled and re ordered 10 cheaper for similar delivery date!
Good product - would recommend
This does what it says on the tin – (mostly) streak free windows in seconds. It is very easy to use however I find that for a completely streak free window I needed to buff with a dry cloth. Notwithstanding this I would definitely recommend this product.

I have looked at getting one of these for so long. I got it on offer and it’s the best money I’ve spent, this thing is life changing for easy, clean windows. Now the sun has started to come out there is nothing better than gleaming windows. We have a large conservatory and it was a joy to clean for the first time, I am looking forward to it staying clean and it was so quick and easy. Fab purchase.
Super impressed
I wasn’t expecting too much from this window vac, it was on sale and our windows take an age to clean. Especially if you’re after streak free results. I can’t believe how easy this was to use and how quickly it produced perfectly clean windows. Usually the French doors and two windows either side take me 20 minutes maybe more. With this I did those and every other window in the house in less time. Really happy. I’ll probably buy some of the cleaning fluid it came with in case that helped.
Great for sucking up condensation on windows
This window vac really makes getting rid of the water droplets on window a much more stress-free experience. I no longer have to waste kitchen paper towels! The only thing is I wish the battery lasted a bit longer, though as long as you know when it’s due to run out doing the same amount of windows then can give it a charge. Very useful for any type of water spill too.
Easy to use with great results
I bought this product to deal with condensation in the conservatory during the winter months. It does a great job and is easy to use. So easy in fact that I decided to clean all the windows inside and out which took no time at all and showed great results. I’ve cleaned mirrors, shower screens and the car windows. All were done with ease and the results were amazing with such little effort. If you are thinking about buying one, do it!! Guaranteed you will not be disappointed.
Excellent for windows and tiles
Easy to use for windows inside and out and perfect for bathroom tiles and shower glass – even use it to remove the small amount of surplus water from the bath – found it especially useful for removing condensation on our large kitchen windows after cooking – Would recommend this Karcher window Vac – there are however so many of the Karcher range available and I would have appreciated more information to ensure I purchased the best one for my usage.

Far better than it's cheaper sibling. Get this one instead.
Much sturdier than the cheaper one, everything about it feels better. Well worth the extra money, it even has better suction. The cheaper one gave up after a couple of uses, the battery wouldn’t charge anymore – hopefully this one lasts longer but so far so good after two months.

I love this!
Never been a fan of cleaning windows, and people say there’s nothing wrong with a a bit of elbow grease. That is very true, but honestly, this thing cleans a window in less than 2 minutes. It sucks up spills and leaves the surface bone dry and removes all the steam from the bathroom walls and tiles after a bath or shower. Bloody marvellous!

This was bought for Christmas present for my niece & husband , ( on my recommendation as I own one) they are delighted with the product said their best present to date , easy to use on widows , shower walls& glass door, glass table top & pictures with glass fronts, now they does not mind doing widow cleaning as they look great no smears. They said they are so pleased I recommend this product.

Purchased this product a couple of weeks ago as I have large bay windows which are single glazed sash cord at the front of my house, in the mornings they are usually running with water when it is particularly cold. This is possible the best thing I have bought in a long time, it is easy to use, suction is excellent and the windows look great afterwards.
I was a little dubious when I read some reviews but decided to take a chance anyway, what a wonderful tool this has turned out to be.

best product we have bought for years
Nothing we disliked. We have huge sash windows on a Victorian house and no double glazing. Consequently
any cold weather and the windows are streaming with condensation. For years we have manage it using towels
etc. Saw your advert, asked neighbours and it was recommended. rought it and couldnt believe how efficient

Easy cleaning

I originally purchased the WV1 but decided to exchange for this model as the head is simply too big on the WV1 and as I discovered there is no option to purchase a smaller one, whereas this WV2 Plus model comes with a smaller head which I’ve found perfect for my smaller windows.
I’ve found the WV2 to work very well and sucking up condensation off windows which is the main reason I use it at this time of year. Admittedly I cannot comment on its performance using the standard head but I get the impression the motor is strong enough and will vary its suction based on the conditions.
I like the set up of the release buttons for the head compared to the WV1. I also find the bottle design much more refined working better and liable to last longer. I think this is basically what you are paying the extra for with the WV2 compared to the WV1 and together with the smaller head I’d say it’s money better spent in my opinion.

Recently bought a house with a sunroom and was feeling a little buyers remorse due to the excessive, streaming down the windows condensation i found each morning. I was using 6 super absorbant cloths each time to mop up. NO MORE!!!! My Karcher has sorted it. It initially took a minute to whizz round in the morning and with this daily use has removed a lot of moisture so the condensation is a minor problem now. The sliding doors in my pic took me 3 minutes to wash and vacuum both sides. So easy, i actually enjoy washing windows now. No streaks if you press firmly. A single charge lasts ages – i only charge every other week, just to make sure it doesnt run out. Easy to use, you dont need instructions. Lightweight, not too noisy. I can’t recommend this product enough
Still a good window cleaner but not as high spec as the older model
I brought this to replace an old VW2 and this is inferior to the old model in two respects.
The power switch on the old one was much more positive, the new switch doesn’t turn it off/on as well as the old one did. Also the old one had a three level battery indicator built in so, when using it, you could see how much charge was left and, when charging , you could how it was getting on.
The second item is the old one had roll out guides on the end of the blade which you could run down the window frame tokeepit steady. These have been left of the new models.
So, basically, Karcher have cut costs but the basic cleaning actions the same.

These are fantastic if you live in an old grade two property that has condensation on the windows in the cold months. This Karcher will save your wooden window frames from rotting or discolouration from condensation. I do spent about 10-20 minutes every morning clearing my windows of condensation using the Karcher and it does a brilliant job. I have two now, top floor bottom floor, the more expensive one has an extra smaller blade for my small door window frames too. I actually couldn’t do without this bit of kit.
Outstanding Produc
Despite a high up front cost, this product does exactly what it says – vacuuming condensation from windows very effectively. We have an old house (1850’s) and condensation after cold nights is a frequent problem. If not wiped every day, water runs down and can rot window frames – which are very expensive to repair or replace. This product saves a lot of time, and kitchen towels, every morning. Worth the price.
Excellent piece of ki
Bought this primarily due to condensation on the inside of relatively new windows – I didn’t want to end up with black mould as often happens. Having used mountains of kitchen roll and cloths every morning (and causing rivulets of water to run down the panes into the frame and the window sill) I took the plunge and bought this, despite thinking it a very expensive solution How wrong I was! It is brilliant at sucking up all the condensation off of the windows and does an excellent job of cleaning our mirrored & glass shower cubicle, patio doors, floor-to-ceiling mirrored wardrobes, etc etc. – very glad I opted for this model due to the interchangeable heads for both small fanlight windows and larger expanses like the shower etc. Yes, as per some reviews, window sills etc might stop you being able to draw it right down to the bottom of the window but a sideways sweep across the bottom of the window to start sorts it, and it can’t quite get right into every corner or edge, but one swipe with a micro-fibre cloth sorts either problem. Saves on time and effort massively and is very well-engineered and sturdy. The sample cleaning solution provided is also excellent to the extent that I’ve ordered more from Amazon rather than use cheaper solutions I already have. Well worth the price (I paid 57.59).
It Works !
We live in an apartment in a Listed Georgian property with typical large12 pane sash windows .
They are single glazed , double glazing is forbidden and we suffer terrible condensation on very cold mornings .
Prior to buying this clever little device I spent a lot of time every morning with a squeegee , sponges ,micro fibre cloths and kitchen rolls clearing up the damp.
It now takes two minutes per window , we have 16 windows in total !
The results I obtain might not be perfect but the windows look better than when I used the towels .
I think a 4 out of 5 is fair .
Used for window condensation and shower tiles
I am really pleased with this window vac. It has a strong suction and removes the condensation on my windows in the morning very quickly with ease. I also use it to remove the water on my shower tiles after use and it is easy. The result is not so much moisture in the shower room only after a couple of days in the morning there is not so much condensation. Not a bad word this is a great product.
The smaller squeegee is perfect for smaller windows.

Can’t believe that I didn’t invest in this product sooner. Takes all the work out of cleaning windows and mirrors. Super clean, streak free finish in seconds. Easy to use, lightweight and deep cleans.

Where has this been all my cleaning life, so normally when I clean the windows I have to carry bowl, squeegee, cloths ,sponge and so on. Not this time ive never been more happy cleaning windows and cleaning the shower screen was a joy, well maybe not a joy but you get my drift. I have arthritic hands and found it reasonably easy to use. Found the handle thicker than I would have liked. Would have preferred spray bottle separate and it was a little difficult to handle when you reached the bottom of the window, but I have sent for the smaller blade, although I haven’t tried it yet.

Great, less mess for indoor window cleaning
After using my dad’s I realised this device was not all hype. Whilst outdoors it’s fine to use a bog-standard squigy, indoors it’s a bit messier so that’s where they come into there own. Simple and effective, our windows get cleaned more frequently now too.

I have just bought a window vac. It is amazing! For many years I have used lots of kitchen roll or cloths every day to dry the bedroom windows & the vac is brilliant. I noticed a neighbour over the road using hers & asked her for advice. She recommended this brand.

Was dubious as to whether it would demist the conservatory windows. Well it did. One inch worth of mist suxked up in seconds. Even went right into the corners. I guess any running excess condensation might need to me wiped up but what’s the alternative? Spend ages on manually squeagyinf and wiping the windows? No thanks I’ll have the Karcher window vac any day

Absolutely brilliant. Bought my son one last Christmas and he swears by it. Bought myself one and really pleased with how light and easy it is to use. I have loaned to two friends and they were so impressed they have now bought one each.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much time and effort that this device saved.
I wasn’t convinced when I purchased this, and the suction isn’t that great when you switch it on so I didn’t expect it to do much on my windows, but I was completely wrong. It left the glass shining and streak-free with a single pass of the vacuum after I used the supplied mop and spray to clean them. I was so impressed that I ordered a larger bottle of the window wash concentrate sample that was supplied with the vacuum.
My mom and dad are in their 80s, they’re about as technophobic as you can get – they didn’t have a telephone landline until they were in their 50s! But they recommended this to me, and given how bone chillingly cold and full of condensation their house has always been, and recommendation for a gadget from them HAS to be taken seriously. So I took the plunge, and now have love, clear, condensation and mould free windows, that let more warmth in form the sun in the winter. Seriously worth every penny and I’ve only had it a week, although my parents have had one for three years which is still working fine.
Battery life is good – still going strong on its first charge, it takes one swift pass with minimal pressure and my single glazed windows are swiftly free of condensation.
What’s to dislike? Nothing. It’s cheaper than redecorating, washing curtains and nets that get mould on them, and suffering health problems due to mould fed by condensation. Wish I’d bought one years ago. How a tiny minority few can’t work out how to work this when my 80+ year old parents can is beyond belief, it’s SO simple instructions aren’t needed. You’d have to be seriously dim to be unable to figure out how to use it.

The spray bottle is a bit flimsy on the trigger nozzle although it is a standard for and some cleaning spray heads also fit. Overall the unit works really well and cleaning shammy also does a great job.

Has made my life much easier as I suffer from chronic pain conditions and I can get my windows done in minutes with this, no need for elbow grease as the cleaning cloth is extremely good at lifting dirt and the vac is definitely streak free and you definitely get professional results. I will be purchasing the extendable pole attachment at some point to get my upstairs external windows done. Really happy with this product. There’s no need to purchase karcher branded window cleaner as I used jeyes outdoor gel suitable for glass and it worked just as good.
Appears poor quality plastic
This is the second one of these I’ve bought. The first was about 5 years ago but when it broke (I dropped it) I didn’t replace it until now. When this one arrived I have to say I was quite disappointed as to how cheap and flimsy it feels. I know it is supposed to be lightweight just hope that doesn’t mean poor quality.

Omg I am amazed to say the least. I have health issues and have a lot of windows and glass in my home. It takes me ages to clean it all and there is always smears or patches so this was on offer and I thought well why not. I had a cheaper version that was crap. Well normally my 3 large glass sliding wardrobe doors takes me 2 hours to clean I have cleaned it in less then 6 min I am so so happy. No smears no water marks no drips nothing. If your thinking about it then go buy this you will never regret it. I’m so happy I really am. Don’t buy cheap as you buy twice. Go treat ya self to this

Incomprehensible instruction shee
Great product, but all I wanted to know after opening the box, is how to use it, just in a few words please. The instruction sheet is all in diagrams, no text, and deals mostly with how to use the spray/cloth wiper attachment, which I will never use. It is only a window vac, which is what I purchased it for: its box after all says Karcher WV. It works well, but should have a sheet saying: charge up, use in a downward sweep, then empty by pulling rubber plug out and emptying down the sink. Whoever designed the “universal language instruction sheet” seriously needs a reality check: “one picture is worth thousand words” does not apply in this case.
We had a terrible problem with condensation and before I spent a fortune having a ventilation system put in, I was recommended to this product. Best thing I’ve ever bought. My routine of drying all the Windows ( which normally takes about an hour and using countless microfibre cloths, kitchen rolls and tea towels) now only takes 10 minutes and no mess. It’s brilliant and has honestly made my life so much easier. The only thing I would have preferred is that the Karcher was a bit sturdier. It feels a bit flimsy and not particularly strong. But only time will tell , I’ve only had this a few days and so far I’m very happy with this.

It’s a very good product, it’s best to not use a foaming agent in window cleaners because this will foam out of the yellow collector bin.
Windows (light) now looking a lot brighter since they have been cleaned inside and out.
Contrary to its claim its can leave some streaks, but this is typical on the edge of the window where the sucker may not be quite powerful enough to remove the water from the crevice.
you will definitely say you’ve a lot of money on not wasting as much water and cleaning fluid as doing it the manual method, plus no cleaning of dirty rags afterwards apart from the one on the spray bottle which still remains relatively clean.
Easy to assembly. Charged really quickly. Very light weight which was a great surprise. Used to rid windows of condensation, absolutely brillant, so quick and easy. Emptying unit was easy too. Highly recommend. Will use to wash windows too, wish I’d bought sooner. Great product.
Originally bought this window vac for condensation in our Sun Room over the winter months but it really is such a great tool for cleaning windows.
I really am a sucker for a gadget so the fact this makes window cleaning so much quicker and easier I am constantly cleaning the windows
I noticed a few other reviews saying it leaves windows streaky, I did notice this at first too but if you apply more pressure while using the window vac it eliminates this issue.

I have dithered for AGES over getting one of these, as it seemed like it might be a bit of a luxury when using a cloth works. OHH how wrong I was. Yes, I suppose it is a luxury, but I’ve just done all windows and mirrors in my house for a fraction of the time it would usually take, and I have no smears. I am very impressed – frankly there’s no question as to whether it’s worth the expense.
Me and my 4 year old daughter love using this on our gloss kitchen cupboards, ,glass tiles windows,….mirror….I have tooo many shiny surfaces…and this is a God send…..Effortless and fun and results from using it is amazing
Every household should have one of these!! I’ve just cleaned every window pane , every mirror, every glass fronted picture- and the tv screen! I couldn’t be more delighted. At 76 yrs young I wish I’d have saved years of elbow grease, bottles of window cleaner that didn’t work , and damp soggy cloths getting up condensation !

Used this for the first time and OMG this takes the effort out of cleaning windows. It does indeed clean the windows, streak free and in no time at all. Super easy to use and no more wasted time filling and carrying a bucket and sponge/cloth!!

Exactly as described. It is a sturdy and useful product. I use it mainly to dry my shower cubicle to get get rid of stagnant moisture and avoid mould build-up. It is excellent for this purpose as it keeps the cubicle dry. Yet to use it for windows once I figure out what all the additional items are for. The provision of 2 different suction blades (30cm and 15cm) is extremely useful. A little expensive but highly recommended.
I know that these things have been on the market for years, but I have always been very dubious as to whether they worked or not? None of my family or friends have one so I couldn’t ask them.
After reading various reviews, I decided to bite the bullet and try one out for myself.
I’m glad I took little notice of the less favourable reviews, the setup works just fine.
Don’t get me wrong, you don’t get perfect results using it. If you want perfection, do all the hard graft yourself.
I have been using mine on windows that haven’t been cleaned for years! (Just bought the house). I was expecting to have to put some effort in and I was right.
I do have several problems when using mine: firstly, the windows are of the old original PVC type where the rubber seal is obvious. This restricts the squeegee from getting right to the edge of the glass and it does requires a little bit more effort to do a good job.
Secondly: some of the windows are quite small, again restricting access for both the cleaning head and the vacuum / squeegee. With these I only use the solution and a cleaning cloth.
When everything is working perfectly, yes, you may need to finish off with a duster, but who cares? Small price to pay for all the time you save using this setup.
Most of my judgments are based on, would I buy another if it stopped working? In this case, yes I would.
I give it 4/5. Not a perfect score admittedly, I reserve 5/5 for when I do the windows ‘manually’ but who wants to waste all the time trying to achieve the perfect score when 10 minutes after you’ve cleaned the windows it’ll most likely rain anyway?
