Wouldn't be without it now!!
I have pondered for some time about whether to purchase the window vac. When the window cleaner increased his rates yet again, I decided that as I live in a bungalow, I would clean them myself. The cost of the window vac will pay for itself within a few months and I wish I had bought one a long time ago! It makes the job so easy and there are no annoying streaks when the sun shines!
Every MoHo owner needs one
Bought primarily to remove the condensation that builds up on the Motorhome windscreen overnight, but so effective I can see it migrating into the house…
Performs well above expectations with regards the moisture removal. Tank gets 1/4 full after the front windows so not sure how large a domestic widow would be before it’s full.
Not had it long so can’t comment on the battery life.

Getting used to i
Takes a while to get used to using this, you have to do everything in one smooth movement otherwise it leaves streaks and marks which is tricky to get the hang of but it is great when you get it right.

Cannot live without this
Now that I’ve tried it few time I clearly say is lovely to wash windows, I would say it works perfect with yellow car wash cloths and M&S window cleaner solution. These 3 will bring joy into your life!

I do like it but I only used it twice on the shower doors and it started flashing, so I had to charge it, the on/ off button a bit stiff, when emptying the water the rubber bit you lift is quite hard to lift!! but glad I bought it!!

Great to use. Easy to use. But I’m still learning maybe…getting a few streaks down windows. But worth buying. Takes care or drying multiple daily showers following teenagers who just don’t won’t can’t dry up after them and great for those cold morning wet windows upstairs.

I thought these were a gimmick but i was so wrong, i now clean my windows in half the time without all the hard work trying to buff like mad, the sprayer and pad are great, i even do my mirrors and condensation if you dry clothes indoors, a great bit of kit that is well designed and easy to use.
A very useful gadge
I bought this for my sister as I was so pleased with mine, I have a conservatory with large doors and I was very pleased with the way it performed my other windows have smaller panes so the small attachment was great for these. I just use water and white vinegar so no smears and no expensive window cleaner either, great for the environment!
Good value
My husband uses the Karcher, this was to replace an older model. He’s very happy with it, just one thing he would change. The older model had 3 bars of light letting you know how much charge it was holding, this model has one light so it’s guess work seeing how low the charge is.

Clears condensation brilliantly
We suffered with severe condensation in our bathroom and so thought we would invest in a Window Vac. The small head is ideal for removing condensation from the windows in the morning, you do still need to give the rubber seal a quick wipe over with a bit of kitchen roll. The large head is ideal for cleaning windows but a bit too big for the condensation. I’m really pleased with the purchase and wish we had purchased one years ago.

I bought this when it was on offer and thought it to be a bit of a gimmick/gadget that would end up not being used much. However … I use it daily to remove condensation from windows and in the shower to reduce the humidy in the house in these cold winter months, and it is very effective. And I haven’t even used it yet to clean & dry our windows!

Makes a crappy job really easy with great results. Worth buying some more solution only one sachet provided.
Keeping condensation at bay
Easy to use. Finding new uses for it everyday! Remarkable on the extensive condensation we have here. So far, windows, windscreens, tiles and shower screens all sparkling and streak free inside and out. Always thought it would be a novelty gadget but so far it is earning back its cost. The two sizes of head make all the difference with the tiny windows. Battery seems to last a good half an hour. But it is quick to use. Even daily morning use on our condensation issue means charging about twice a week. Not including larger areas like the conservatory of course.

I was a bit hesitant to spend this much money on a window vacuum but I’ve had a few cheap models over the years and they keep breaking down or leaking. This is a Karcher so I had high expectations. And it did not disappoint! I use it daily to vacuum the condensation off the windows, for my bathroom tiles, shower door, general liquid spills around the house, and I’m very happy with it! It charges fast and battery lasts for ages, it’s easy to use (just one on/off button), takes seconds to empty out as there’s no need to remove the whole liquid compartment. I highly recommend getting this vacuum!

Windows without Smears
I did not expect this to work as advertised. I got it, expecting to be sending it back if it did not perform. I did the whole of our conservatory in less then half the time it usually takes me using a normal window cleaner sponge and scrapper. I even did my car windscreen and it is the first time I managed to clean that with no smear. So yes, I am happy with my purchase.

I have wanted to try a Karcher window vacuum for a while and decided to go for it. The suction is excellent for the condensation on the conservatory windows and the glass walls of the shower. The mirrored wardrobe doors came up lovely with the solution provided and the Karcher suction machine. Very pleased with it so far.
Handy tool
Really handy tool, after while (10 usage) it left tiny streaks, still have to use the cloth to dry the windown just underneath the frame. I have managed to clean 26 windows in 30 min, so really impressive. Using it as well to dry my car after wash- massive time saver. Battery life is really good. It’s important to close spray bottle really tight otherwise it will leak. Recommend it.

Brilliant replacement for my old one which finally gave up after 6 years.
Contrary to some other reviews of this newer model, I don’t have any criticisms of this new one. It has a more sturdy base than the old one, the on/off switch is easy to operate, it has the same suction power and a tank which is, I think, slightly bigger. I received it yesterday, charged it for a few hours and couldn’t wait to put it into use this morning. It was brilliant! Love it. My bay windows are now clean and streak free! I can’t vouch for the battery life as this is only its first outing but I filled in the warranty form just in case! (Just a tip – some people have reported difficulty in emptying the tank. I get the impression they are trying to dissemble the whole thing to remove the tank, whereas all you need to do is pull out the little black tab at the top of the tank and tip the dirty water out).

Very effective at clearing up condensatio
Blessed as I am living in a house with 1980s era double glazing, I quite often get a lot of condensation on my inadequate, by today’s standard, insulated windows. After spending a couple of years using various towels or clothes to wipe the windows dry in the morning, I got one of these. Ostensibly they are for cleaning windows, they are highly effective at sucking up condensation off your windows. There are various models, I got this one with a wider head on it, so it takes less time to clean a window. Have been using it for a couple of weeks and it’s been really great. Get one if you suffer from window dampness!

Bought this with little expectation that it would be easy to use – how wrong can you be! I wish I’d bought one years ago. I’ve never minded cleaning glass indoors (my lovely window cleaner does outside) but as I’ve got older the 15 big windows, 3 glazed doors, 2 tall glass panels, glass shower enclosure and a 12′ run of floor to ceiling mirrored wardrobe doors have become rather time consuming and tedious. When this little gadget arrived I allowed it to charge fully, read the basic instructions, filled the sprayer bottle and set out to clean a couple of window. I ended up cleaning the lot because it was so quick and easy to use. It is now used every day to dry out the shower cubicle.

Not having an extractor in my bathroom makes this essential. There are cheap versions of these out there but NONE have come close to the quality this offers.

Well made piece of equipment. Easy to follow instructions. Makes window cleaning an easier job. However I find the operation of cleaning the bottom of a pane of glass when there is a window ledge preventing the tool to reach the bottom. A polishing cloth is still required to remove marks on the window where the swipe of the blade terminates.

Absolutely brilliant. I don’t know why I didn’t get one sooner. The Karcher concentrate works best and is very economical. We have lots of windows here and glazed door panels and they’ve never been so clean. Great for removing condensation too.

It was recommended by a friend and it was well worth the purchase. So easy to use and leaves a streak free window. Only small criticism is if you have a window ledge you have to turn it on its side to vacuum the bottom part of the window.
Better than cheaper versions.
Tried a friends cheaper version and decided to get a proper one. Glad I did, it’s easy to set up and use. If in doubt, read the instructions then you’ll be fine. Thought my shower was clean – it looked clean but it wasn’t. Then I cleaned all the windows in my bungalow (inside only) all completed on one charge.
Saves on lots of time
Bit of the rubber blade has broken off on the larger blade. Still works just covers a slightly smaller area. Great for windows as well as kitchen units

I’m so hot I bought this. It’s so easy to use and it’s lightweight. My windows are streak free I have also used it to clean my shower screen and the respertex and it is truly awesome. The 2 different sized heads make it very versatile. I now enjoy cleaning my windows and anything else ie my car windows I have done those too. I recently told my friend about who has had a shower enclosure put in so she bought one and she loves it too. So I would definitely recommend this.

I had misgivings about this but was agreeably surprised at how well it cleaned and how quickly it did so. Managed my conservatory in half the time. As others have noted it tends to drip rather more than I would like but you find a way to manage this. Having two sizes of head is an advantage when it comes to smaller irregular shaped windows.

My husband took the mick out of me for buying this – basically told me it was an impulse purchase…. How the mighty have fallen. I think the BEST part about this purchase is that I now never need to clean the windows. After the first time I used it he wanted to ‘have a go’.
I haven’t cleaned a window since – I’m now looking for the next ‘impulse purchase’ (also known as stealth tactic to fob off jobs).
Product wise, it does a great job, we have used inside and out, on the glass in the garden and on the glass tabletops, and even on the shower, and the result is always shiny and clean. No need to buy additional cleaning products, water and a drop of fairy liquid, or even an own brand glass cleaner will do. Do need to hold it at the right angle to avoid streaks.

We have just used it inside the conservatory, my wife did the washing and I did the hoovering we did it much faster than normally with less mess.
It also managed to function running sideways on the bottom of the window to clear the bottom edge.

Purchased to replace original version bought many years ago when the product was first released. Makes cleaning windows and mirrors a dream, easy and quick. Great that this option also included the smaller head which is great for mirrors. Lighter than original version and on/off button moved to outer part of handle which is good as don’t accidentally switch it on when lifting it. anymore.
STREAK FREE, QUICK AND EASY!
Recommended by a relative who raved about how good the window vac is. Well I wasn’t disappointed, I love it! It is super easy to use and so versatile. I wanted it for my large patio doors but I have used it on mirrors, oven door and the shower. No more endless buffing, streak free, quick and easy.

Vac is easy to use and lightweight. I bought to use mainly in my bathroom and ensuite as both have lots of glass. Having the 2 head sizes makes the job easier and quicker.

This is the second Karcher I’ve purchased ( the other one my son now has), so I know how effective they are and hopefully this one will be as reliable as it’s predecessor. As long as the glass has been well wetted the Karcher will do it’s job, but if the rubber starts to emit a squeaking noise the the glass is dry and it will leave stripes on the glass, other than that just keep an eye on the waste water container and empty it regularly and you will have a professional finish. Lastly make sure you purchase the the fluid to add to the spray bottle water,it’s well worth the cost.

Fantastic and easy to use
I had been looking at these for a while. I thought they must be good, all those people who have glass banisters these days must use them otherwise it must be finger print hell. Anyway this is so easy to use. I did all the downstairs windows, charge still good. We have irritating little square panes in the top of the exterior windows and the smaller attachment fitted them perfectly. It also cleaned glass unit doors which I had never been able to get that perfect finish with no residue before. It may be the cleaning fluid that I bought with it at the time. It is supplied with a sachet of it and I’m still using that so far. You do need a cloth to wipe up the excess at the bottom of the windows, and there is the odd streak to wipe away but overall, so quick and easy to use, I was looking round for mirrors and the shower door, they all came out great.

Wrong! This is absolutely brilliant, worth every penny. Cleaning windows with this is quick and effortless and the results are amazing – no streaks whatsoever. Great for the shower door too. Well worth the money. I could’ve saved myself hours of time and effort if I’d bought it years ago.
Great for cleaning the shower scree
We have a glass shower screen. We used to use a manual squeegee, but found the Karcher WV1 which was brilliant. That eventually died, and this is the replacement we bought. It does not seem to have quite as much suction as the WV1 and it doesn’t have any adjustments for edges. But it does the job and it was cheaper than the updated version of ours.
