If you’re considering this gym because your little one loves the slides at the playground, I’d suggest you keep looking. As others have pointed out, the slide isn’t particularly long and enthusiasts will bore quickly. But if your active little tike loves to climb and you’d like to encourage them to do so somewhere other than, say, the kitchen table, this might be perfect for you.
Overall, the unit is a little taller than our kitchen table, and the platform is about level with the average chair seat. So it’s not so high that they’ll need more than a cuddle when they fall. But tall enough that my 15 month old has to work a bit to climb up (and tall enough that climbing up the slide is as fun as going down it). There is enough space underneath for them to crawl in and out of the holes, but not to sit up. Great for those who love to see where they can fit their little bodies – even if mummy might find the idea a little claustrophobic.
It might be smaller than some expect, but as we use it in our living room (we live in a flat with no garden), that’s perfect for us. That said, if you’re toddler is older than 2, it’s not going to get a lot of use. As it’s Little Tikes, it’s solidly made and will easily survive future siblings. But as it’s just molded plastic, it’s overpriced. Try to find it on offer, but then don’t hesitate for your 1 year old!
I noticed that my 20 month old step-grandson was very active around the house so I bought him one of these. He absolutely loves it and has been using it for a few months now. He doesn’t get bored with it and it has reduced his attempts at climbing on furniture! I think it has increased his confidence too. He uses it inside.

My 18 month old daughter loves it, but you absolutely MUST read the instructions and put it together in the correct order as once the bits are fixed, they’re fixed permanently! We made this mistake and now the slide is loose but on the flip side it does make it a little easier to tidy away.

My one year old needs a bit of help when using it but can climb in and up onto the platform without any problems. She is a little young for it but under supervision and with interaction has a great time. It can be kept in a conservatory or used outside. It also took no time at all to put together and needs no tools which is great.

This is really good, it was purchased for my daughter initially, when she outgrew it, it was given to my niece and now it has been given to my other niece. All three have loved playing on this and it still has plenty of life in it to be passed on again.

I bought this for my 14 month old grandson for Christmas and he loves it. He quickly learnt how to climb up the back and go down the slide and has just started investigating the other spaces on it. It’s sturdy and well built and will probably last him for at least a year before he’s too big for it.

Besucherkindern zwischen 1-3 Jahren ist es der Hit. Es ist so klein und kompakt, dass es gut in unser Wohnzimmer passt und dient zum austoben, wenn das Wetter (mal wieder) schlecht ist. Der Zusammenbau war sehr einfach und die Verarbeitung ist Super. Steht trotz niedrigem Gewicht sehr stabil und kann unmglich umkippen. Klar muss man immer in der Nhe sein, denn absturzsicher ist es aufgrund der Hhe natrlich nicht, wenn die Kinder auf dem oberen Podest stehen. Bisher hat aber noch kein Kind Anstalten eines Kppers gemacht…
Fazit: Es ist ein tolles Klettergerst fr die ganz Kleinen, sobald sie auch hochziehen. Fr grere Kinder wrde ich jedoch was greres bzw hheres suchen, was dann wahrscheinlich aber nicht mehr eben im Wohnzimmer aufgestellt werden kann…
Habe diesen kletterturm fr meine 20 Monate alte Tochter (motorisch entwicklungsverzgert ) gekauft und schon nach dem Aufbau ist sie die rutsche hoch geklettert 🙂

Perfect for toddlers
I bought this for my grandson a couple of months ago. He loves it – as do his little playmates when they come visiting with their mums. They like to climb up the slide as well as shoot down it They love crawling under it, through it, over it and onto it. It has provided a lot of pleasure for many little 12-18 month old children and they are a joy to watch whilst they squeal with delight.
It is light-weight to move around the garden yet solid and stable. It is very useful that the slide part is easily detachable too, without its safety being compromised.
The only criticism I have is that it was a devil to put together. In theory it couldn’t have been simpler but in reality it was a nightmare. The pieces should have just slotted into each other but they took a herculean amount of pressure to snap into place. On the plus side I suppose this means they will not be coming apart once little people are clambering all over them!

I thought it might be a bit bigger than it is, so check the size (which I didn’t, my own fault!) so you know what you’re getting.. Our 2 grandchildren aged 18 months love it. Fun to hide under, peep through the gaps. Because of the low height they can play safely on it.

Found this to be an excellent purchase, Little Tykes quality shines through again. My daughter is safe when she is on the top of this, because of the sides, and she feels like a big girl because she can stand upon it, She slides down with ease because the shoot is not too big, I feel this is safe for her, The holes in the climbing frame part, are just big enough for her to crawl through, she is of slight build and tiny for her age so if you are buying this for a two year old, I would not consider this item. This was the cheapest price I found on Amazon.

I am very pleased with the quality of this toy and my grandson loves climbing all over it. However as he is such an adventurous 13 month old he does try abseiling over the side. Of course he is never left unattended so is not an issue but just a word of warning to be careful

his slide is very nice, needs assembly which was a little tricky at first as its so tight to slot into place. once built it looks great! i bought this for my 2 year old daughter who loves it. i would say though the slide is quite little my daughter slides down and her legs practically take up all of the slide so not much of a slide down. was quite expensive as i think she’ll outgrow this in no time. the holes to climb through are quite small too my daughter just abouts fits through. it is very strong and sturdy, very safe, but not one of my better buys really for the price.

I bought this as a first birthday present for my son. It has been a big hit and he is rarely off it. We keep it in the house at the moment so can’t comment on durability outdoors but I am very impressed with the stability and durability of it indoors. The material seems very tough and I am confident it will remain in good condition.

The “Little Tikes activity gym” arrived when stated,although assembling it for the first time requires a”bit of brute strength” it is fairly easy to do.(The joints take a bit of push-me-pull-me effort).Once assembled though the strength of the framing is very evident, it was first used at my grandsons first birthday,he and his mates played on it none stop for all the afternoon without any problems.Putting it back to flat pack to take home was easy and re assembling was a lot easier the second time around.

My 15 month old son loved playing on these at baby groups and other peoples houses, so we bought him one with his birthday money. It’s fabulous and he can’t get enought of it.
It’s very easy to assemble, and I know they’re hard wearing as I have friends with them. This one is the same as the “sunshine” model (except for colour) but is 25 cheaper….somehow amazon have the dimensions wrong tho!
All in all a great purchase tha will last!

Unsere Tochter hat den Kletterturm zum 1. Geburtstag bekommen. Dieser wurde von mir alleine, obwohl ich im 7. Monat schwanger war, auch ohne Probleme aufgebaut.
Der Turm ist sehr stabil und auch schon fr die Kleinsten geeignet. Unsere Tochter gerade mal 80 cm gro und kann bisher nur krabbeln und sich hochziehen. Sie hat es schon am ersten Tag alleine geschafft den Turm zu erklimmen und rckwrts auf dem Bauch runter zu rutschen. Jetzt mit 14 Monaten ist der Turm, der im Wohnzimmer steht, immer noch ihr liebstes Spielzeug. In der Hhle unten sind Stofftiere und Kissen gebunkert. Altersempfehlung ab 1,5 Jahre ist also relativ.
Ich finde den Turm alleine fr die motorische Entwicklung sehr wertvoll. Durch das auf dem Bauch runter rutschen, hat sie sich auch angewhnt rckwrts vom Bett oder der Couch runten zu kommen.
Sogar die groe Schwester mit 6 Jahren lsst sich die tollsten Spielmglichkeiten einfallen wie z.B. die Verwendung als Auto- bzw. Ballrutsche.

At just 1 year she hasn’t managed the climb up the back yet so there is plenty more for her to learn from it. only slight issue is with the hole at the back for her to climb up as she has fallen through this – but have stuffed it with a cushion so it is safe until she learns to avoid it. We are very pleased with this buy. It is a little expensive but both my children love it – my 13 month old daughter and my 2 and a half year old son. It is great for safely encourageing their climbing skills. It is quite easy to assemble and will happily sit in the garden come rain or shine. However read the assembly instructions carefully as it is easy to make a simple mistake which ends up in having to start again! Overall, very happy.

This was brought for my sons 2nd birthday buy his grandparents, he loves it. not too hard to put together needs too people tho! nice and sturdy and easy to move about. would recomend it..
I bought this for my daughter who is 18 mths old and within a day she had figured out how to climb up the “step” and slide down has provided hours of entertaiment can be used inside or out. Can fit through door ways just!
