The DTD152Z is an 18V cordless impact driver powered by 18V Li-ion battery (not included) and developed for main applications such as tightening of self-drilling screws or light duty machine screws.
Compact and Lightweight Design
Can deliver up to a maximum of 2,900 RPM, 3,500 RPM and 165 Nm of maximum torque.
Has a convenient one-touch 1/4″ hex chuck for quick bit changes.
Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) is engineered for improved dust and water resistance for operation in harsh conditions.

Great product as always with makita.
Makita impact driver is a brilliant product but the packaging it arrived in was awful. The impact driver was almost hanging out the box, with just a token amount of bubble wrap to protect it. Seems silly to skimp on packaging, especially on a relatively expensive product, its like falling at the last fence!

An impact driver is the single most useful tool I have every bought.
With a bit adaptor , it doubles as a drill for simple uses.
A excellent drill/driver for the price
While this is not a brushless model it performs very well driving 5 inch screws into timber easily without the need for pilot drilling

Makita DTD152Z 18V Li-Ion LXT Impact Drive
This is a brushed unit, not a brushless one. It does not lack power though, and it develops roughly the same torque as the brushless unit. Does have one HUGE benefit in my opinion though, as it is a slightly older unit than the latest kit, this one is not made in China ! For the price it is a no brainer. Cracking little unit.
Great Value for money
If you are already in the LXT ecosystem you can’t go wrong, I use mine for removing undertrays on cars when servicing them.

Only power level mode (as opposed to 4 in the newest model), but the trigger sesitivity is good enough. Great price. Sturdy and fine, as most Makita products.

The impact driver is superb, plenty of power and lightweight and compact. It doesn’t come with battery hence the cheap price 40.
It does get a bit warm if you try and control the trigger. Highly recommend if you already have battery this impact driver is a bargain!!

Great Drill drives Screws of varying lengths with ease, is not a complete replacement for my non impact drivers as it can because of the power strip the screw in soft wood

Brilliant little gun ,that has a lot of power for its size. I normally pair it up with a 3 or 4 amp battery. Does a great job.
