I have had one myself for about 18 months so decided to purchase one for my son (he is in his late 30s) as he had seen and liked mine, my son is over the moon with his, this particular soup maker is easy to use and easy to clean it has to be one of the best.
Being able to saut soup ingredients first makes this a real cooks appliance. There is a a much better smoothness than using a stick blender and as it has a timer you don’t have to be around to watch it. I never thought I’d find it so useful but I love it.
This machine will improve your;
Life, Health, Sleep pattern and meal times for ever!
It not only reduces the time of cooking it seems to bring out the very essence of all the ingredients you use.
Simple, very automated, fantastic and BEAUTIFULLY kind to anything you use, making whatever you create simply stunning……
This has been the best purchase ever , you have no reason not to eat healthily , takes little time to prepare and just throw it all in, and add what veg/ flavourings you like so easy would recommend this to everyone , tinned soups are a thing of the past, can even get your children involved preparing and choosing their veg encourages them to eat more healthy best invention ever also so easy to clea
Never throw away past their best or leftover vegetables again. With the addition of just onion and vegetable stock this makes healthy, tasty soup in under 30 minutes ( excluding preparation time). The best gadget I’ve bought in years.
Always wondered why not just use a pan till I saw my friend use one. (Doesn’t boil over, doesn’t stick, can walk away) Love it! So easy to use. Literally just throw your ingredients in with a stock cube/water and 28 mins later DONE
Love using this and makes soup making even easier. Only issue is I wish the stainless jug detached for cleaning!Everything else excelle
Bought for my son and daughter-in-law,
I’ve got the same one have had for a good few years now makes beautiful soups would recommend.
I have had to purchase a new one because the one I had for 3 years gave up. It has been used approx 3 times a week for 3 years and makes delicious and healthy soups. Not as expensive as some soup makers but provides soup which is what more expensive models do. Couldnt fault it.
Very easy to use. The saut function is brilliant. It gets hot quickly and helps add flavour to the soup. The machine takes just twenty minutes to make soup. You chop up your ingredients, throw them in and add some water and you’re done. The smooth soup function creates a gorgeous creamy smooth soup without actually adding any cream. Great for losing weight.
Glad I bought this. Easy to use for chunky or smooth soup depending what you add. Saute works well for bacon or garlic etc. There are only two of us so the minimum level does make enough for four. So we can have the remainder day after if in fridge. Have to warm that up in a pan though not in the soupmaker as that is only for ready made soup to have right away. Great for leftovers just add stock and herbs etc.
This soup maker is the saute version and I’m glad I choose this type as it’s so convenient no othr pans to used it too much as yet but I’m very pleased with it so fa
Got to say good quality and a little bit quieter than a different make the Saut is great got a few recipes in the instructions booklet and found more on the Morphy Richards web site
Made the Bacon & Leek soup and it was very nice I have also got the extra guarantee for 2 years on the web
A tip is to get all the ingredients chopped and ready before starting to cook
In approx 21 mins, this makes delicious soup – I thought the flavour could not possibly develop in this time but using good quality stock added to the other ingredients, it has not let me down yet. I’ve just bought this one for my daughter, who was. Dry impresses. The saut function is great- esp if making French Onion Soup. Very versatile programmes, for smooth or chunky veg, etc.
Wouldn’t be without it!
After you’ve made your first pot of soup, and been delighted with the texture (so smooth) and the flavour, and the ease. You’ll want to use it all the time. All the recipes for soup makers have turned out perfectly, I would strongly recommend the one that sauts.
I’ve had a Morphy Richards soup maker for years but unfortunately the top was dropped and it stopped working. I decided to go for the upgrade with the Saut function and what a difference it makes! As before I could not be bothered to saut onions and garlic in a pan, now the saut function takes care of it; the base heats up very quickly and in 2-3 minutes, the onions are ready and the soups even tastier! Well worth upgrading!
Nothing to dislike about this gadget. Does what it says – makes soup in 21 mins.
I bought the one with the saut and pause functions. I like to saute onions etc for extra flavour for soup making, and pointless using a saucepan if you have a soup maker as might as well just make the soup in it.
The pause function is good too as a taste and season part way through is useful.
Get and buy one…you won’t regret it.
I gave this to my son for his 50th birthday. He is still raving about it.
He sent me a video of him and his little daughter making broccoli soup. It was so quick and easy and only took 21 minutes.
He’s looking forward to using the saute facility and more complex soups.
He calls it a great present and a very healthy one as well. As a bonus he and his daughter had great fun making it together.
I would highly recommend it. My two daughters and I are getting one as well.
This product couldn’t be any easier to use. Put your stuff in. Press the button. Let it do it’s thing.
It’s, sturdy, easy to use, easy to clean and looks great.
It would be nice of they could make a larger capacity model, as you get about 3 portions of soup in this model. But overall I couldn’t recommend this more highly.
Very quick and easy to use. At maximum capacity, produces 4 large bowls of piping hot soup. Cleaning is a little bit fiddly, but rinsing & wiping the blender section as soon as you take it off the unit, so there’s no dried on residue to cope with, is the way to go. Using the saute function, soup is very flavourful and as smooth or chunky as you want it. Haven’t made anything without saute-ing, so can’t comment on what that would be like. This is getting a lot of use in my kitchen – well worth the investment & the space.
Can’t stop using this so easy to use and clean. The saute function is brilliant makes enough soup for four big bowls
This is a lovely product Makes beautiful soup sauces and smoothies I even used it to make an ice cream base
I used this product to make chicken and vegetable soup and it was delicious. It was easy to clean afterwards too which is a bonus!
Purchased this unit to replace my very old and burnt out maker. Wow what an upgrade from veg to soup in a flash and all done automatic how spoilt is that. Very reasonable cost as well a good buy by me for me
Love this didn’t think it would be this good but I’ve made some amazing soups and it’s hot as well
Just fabulous and effortless just put everything in the pot and away you go, fresh soup giving 3 very generous servings or 4 normal servings what more could you ask for..
I see reviews saying that the ingredients are stuck to the bottom and this is a fault of the machine, utter rubbish. If you need to soften (saute) some ingredients like onions, put a bit of oil in the bottom and keep stirring. This part of the soup making only takes a couple of minutes and needs constant supervision. Always use a stock with your soup making and you can’t go wrong.
So delighted with this purchase. Easy to use, quick and easy to clean. Be warned- this can become addictive. Freezer now full!!
Absolutely brilliant product. Was in 2 minds whether to but one. Really worth it. The saute option is really good to get things started off. Lovely fresh soup in just over 20 mins. I use it loads.
This is a great soup maker, cut up the ingredients, pill it in the container up to the marked max level mix up the stock say a stock cube, and fill to max level put the top on plug it in switch it on and away it goes.
The controls on the handle need to be read with the instruction in hand, once understood its simple to operate and makes great soup used may be twice a week but at least once.
Well worth the cost.
It has made all the difference having this Soup Maker this winter – in 21 minutes I have a delicious soup, and once you’ve chopped the veg etc it’s just a matter of pressing a button – hey presto!!
I bought this for my wife who thinks it is great and says it is very easy to use and easy to clean. The consistency on the smooth setting is always spot on and the soup always tastes very good. No negatives !
Makes super soup in about 21 minutes plus prep time. Useful recipe book comes with it.
Don’t know what Flavour (above) is meant to refer to.
It is so simple to use and makes the most devious soup, no hassle and only the jug to wash, a life saver!
Love the saute feature on this soup maker. It makes a difference to the taste by being able to sauce bacon, onions and some veg in the soup maker. The soup is delicious, and I have been using this soupmaker every few days since I got it. The bonus is how easy to clean it is. Would recommend.
Does exactly what it says on the box. Makes delicious quick easy soups. Easy to clean. I’m extremely pleased with this product.
Excellent for making fresh soups. The saute functions allows for extra flavour to be added, the liquid heats up quickly and the blade blends everything to make a smooth soup. The machine is noisy when blending but these section of the programme doesn’t last long. Plenty of recipes available online. Highly recommended.
It’s the best thing I’ve bought in years! Always been an avid soup maker but this is so easy quick and dont know how I managed before!
I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and it has been in use almost daily. She has not tried the saut function yet but, no doubt I shall hear about it when she does. All I can say is that she is thrilled with it.
This is a superb addition to our kitchen. At first I thought it was just another one of my wife’s ‘fads’ but it has turned out to be excellent. We have used it a couple of times every week since we bought it. The sautee function is a ‘must’ not present on the latest ‘see-through’ version. We have tried all the soups in the accompanying manual and have now bought a book full of soup recipes. Though I still like H****z tomato soup we have really widened our horizons.
As you will have gathered we are really pleased.
So easy to use, with the timing feature you can plan the rest of the meal. Saute function is handy as it’s only one item to wash.
I received this soup maker quickly and I am delighted. I make lots of soup and usually do it in the microwave to save stirring etc. I was in danger of dropping hot soup because my microwave is high up in the kitchen. I used the soup maker with my own recipe for spicy parsnip. Delicious. Then leek and potato, just as good. Love the saute provision for onion, celery etc., Really helps draw out flavour.
Very pleased with it. Only gave 4 out of 5 as it doesn’t have a keep warm function.
Love this – wondered if it was a waste buying it when you can make soup in ordinary pot but it’s great to throw in ingredients, leave it & have blended soup 20minutes later.
Amazing soups. Saute function works really well although not a lot of room if you are adding numerous items. Geeat flavour and in double quick time. Highly recommend this produc
I love home made soup and a friend suggested I should try a soup maker. Did a lot of research and this one looked like it had all the features I wanted. It said hot soup in 21 minutes, and that is exactly what you get. I could not believe how easy it was. Chop up the ingredients, add stock, switch on, go have a cuppa and read a book. They are also a few recipes with the instruction book, but I now just chuck stuff in and way it goes. Would 100% recommend this item.
I bought this as a present for my daughter after having raved about mine which I have had for a couple of years and use two or three times a week for making soup. It is also great for blending smoothies. It saves so much time and is so easy to use. I am a great fan of healthy soups to maintain my goal weight. They are so warming and comforting this time of year and a good way to use up odd bits of vegetables etc and much cheaper and healthier than buying ready made soups. However I have knocked a star off as I am not keen on the saute function. It gets far too hot and burns onions etc before they are softened. That may be because I use spray oil rather than lots of oil or butter. To overcome this I just ping onion in the microwave. I find it still makes great soup without that function. I make a lot of Weight Watchers 0 point soups. My husband’s favorite is leek and potato for which I just add 2 large chopped leeks, 2 diced potatoes, hot veg or chicken stock up to the line and ground black pepper. Cook using the chunky function and then leave to do it’s thing. When finished I take a couple of ladleful’s out, press the blend function for a minute of so and then add the chunky mix back in before serving. The blender is really efficient even for ingredients like ginger. I can usually make 4 or 5 portions. Soup does stay hot for quite a while with the lid on if you are making in advance. The maker is easy to clean provided you rinse straight away. If there are any bits on the blade I use a brush. I store any left overs in a Lock & Lock jug or microwaveable soup mugs. Storage wise it does take up quite a bit of room and it would have been good if you could have stored the plug and cable inside the machine but it doesn’t quite fit.
Seriously in love with this machine. Once prepped it’ll make a gorgeous smooth soup in just over 20 minutes. Amazing the quality. So easy to clean, I rinse it out straight after no problems. I can’t imagine life without it now, it’s a game changing for eating healthy, I can pack lots of great veg into something delicious and not have to wtach over it as it makes the soup. I bought it to make soup for my mum whose on dialysis, she’s says on the days she is in hospital she feels sick and wanted healthy easy to eat meals. She’s sold on it too.
I bought this for my daughter but have had the same one myself for 3 years and I love it. So easy to use and makes delicious soup very simply. It is so easy to clean which is an added advantage.
Amazing the difference having the saute option can make! It tastes like real properly made soup even if left to cook by itself.
The sautee option temperature is also spot on, it fries stuff quickly without getting stuck to the bottom.
So easy to clean and use. Create your own recipes in a jiffy. Just fill with any small chopped veg of your choice to minimum line and then fill up with made up stock liquid to the maximum line and you’re ready to cook. As simple as that. If you’re short on time use ready mixed frozen veg from your freezer.
This is a godsend. Choose what soup you want, get the ingredients , put them in the soup maker and turn on. There is a bit of prep required but the machine cuts it all up for you and after 20 minutes or so you have delicious piping hot soup.
Amazing… absolutely love it. Very easy to use…lovely soups… I bought the recommended recipe book too to give me more ideas 🙂 kids love it . My 12yr old daughter made soup many times since we had this soup maker. Safe to use it ..:)
This is a great soup maker, so easy to use & I’m pleased with my purchase, the only thing to watch out for is the saut option, it heats up quickly & burns easily. I wouldn’t go back to shop bought soup, the Max level gives you 4 generous portions. I would recommend.
Since I had to make soup for husband every day, this has been a useful addition to the kitchen. It took a while to work out the digital settings but now it seems easy. I would not say it was big enough for batch cooking but for a couple of bowls of soup, it’s very good.
Always poo-poo’d the idea of spending 65 on ‘something you can cook in a pan’, couldn’t understand why anyone would waste their money…
Until a painful leek & potato soup blender explosion… then I bit the bullet…
Why didn’t I get one of these sooner?! It’s blummin awesome!! Did scare the c&@p out of me when it did it’s first ‘blend’, mind… love it so much, I bought my sister one
This is a superb, easy to use soup maker and I use mine twice a week at least, particularly in the winter. It makes lovely leek and potato soup on the chunky setting. Wouldn’t be without it now!
We had to have a replacement the first one arrived without any package on it to protect it. So we were surprised that I’d did not work.
We rang Amazon and they said we had to contact the Manufacturer which we did and redirected to Amazon.
I bought this some time ago. It has helped make a variety of good soups.
Very easy, quick, and simple to use, and a doddle to clean.
If you like soup then I recomend this soup maker.
A friend recommended this soup maker so went with her recommendation and do not regret it at all. Extremely easy to make delicious soups. So bought my niece one for this Christmas coming!
Get one! Just get one! Go on! Have been making my own soup for donkeys years and thought one of these to be the hight of lasyness. Not so. It is brilliant.Prep is just the same but only one container to use and clean and 21 minutes with no supervision and delicious soup. My sister bought me this for Xmas and I thank her every time I use it!!
All the recipes I have used whether followed from a recipe or made up have been delicious and it really does make delicious lump free smooth soup in 21 minutes. Brilliant to have the saut function to save cleaning another pan. Be careful if you use milk as a liquid as it can boil up over the lid.
It is heavy to lift whilst full, but take the lid off first and that makes it easier. The lid contains the motor and blender so have somewhere to put it when you remove it’s as it hot and dripping with soup. I use an old bottle cooler as its the perfect height. It doesn’t take up too much shelf space. My only niggle, which is quite big one is that you can’t put it in to soak because of the electrics. It’s quite fiddly trying to clean it without getting water into the socket or motor. It would have been so much better if some how it had a removable liner.
