As advertised. Good results. Personally I do not find it easy to clean. Nothing goes in dishwasher. Having said that I use it quite often in winter.

I got to know about this soup maker through my sister who had bought one herself. Love it all the way but we both agree that the lid needs to have some sort of resting holder to keep it upright when you need to take it out. At the moment we are improvising with a plastic container to rest the lid while cooking . The saute function was a big deciding function for me.

I would strongly recommend this soup maker but be warned that even with using its self-clean option, there is still some soup that can be missed, leaving you struggling to both hold up the heavy awkward top whilst attempting to remove soup sitting e.g. just behind the temperature gauge bar. Secondly though you can saut food in unit quite successfully – I found it is simpler to saut large quantities of chunky vegetables especially, in a separate pan.

I can honestly say this is the best appliance I have ever bought. I have made soup continuously throughout the winter months as it is such an easy process, delicious and really healthy. I can’t praise this enough and cannot think what I would do without it. Following the recipes is so easy and I now make up my own soup from any left over vegetables I have in the fridge. This is a very good soup maker indeed. The saut mode and the touchscreen display are excellent additions. the functions are very easy to use. It’s much bigger than our previous models, which means it’s somewhat heavier.

My wife was a little unsure about this soup maker since it seemed smaller than the one it replaced, not Morphy Richards. She has now used it and is raving to all and sundry about how good it is. The best part is that she can clean the inside very easily since it all comes apart and does not expose any electrical connections. The soup she has made is so smooth compared to the old soup maker. Absolutely brilliant. Highly recommended.
Should be in every home
Certainly makes me eat more vegetables. Sometimes it is a little small for recipes but reducing volumes overcomes this easily. Makes plenty of soup for a family or seconds. And thirds.

This is brilliant. I read loads of reviews on different soup makers. Initially I was put off of this brand because of all the reports of them tripping the electrics. So I bought a Salter soup maker. The first one only lasted 10 days before it stopped working . The second kept beeping with errors. I bit the bullet and ordered this one. It is brilliant and I would highly recommend it. It is so easy to use and even easier to clean. I use it 2 or 3 times a week.

Great for making various soups on cold winter days
Very easy to use, sautee the onions, add the chopped veg and water. Turn on for smooth, medium or chunky and walk away. Yes it gets a bit noisy but it is blending up the food so understandable.
Overall you get to make nice soup without having to use various pots or pans and to clean it is very easy

Easy to understand instruction, only thing important to remember is to select your portion size before starting the process. First recipe leaned towards a thinner consistency than I would have preferred, but that just means less stock the next time!

A convenient way of making soup that is simple to use. Important NOT TO FILL BEYOND THE MAX LEVEL. If one does the machine will cut out and not work until contents are reduced to below the max marker. Used it now for over 12 months.

So pleased I chose this model. The make was recommended and after doing my research I realised this model did everything I would use eg. saute, self clean, and more. It’s great and I would recommend.
Fantastic! It really is as easy as popping your ingredients into the jug, adding liquid, and pressing a button. If you have a food processor for chopping up veg, it’s even easier. A basic soup takes about 20 minutes; the jug, removed from the base, is easy to wash; and it’s only the heavier top with the little blending blades that needs a few moments careful cleaning. The booklet is helpful, and once familiar with one or two recipes it’s safe to experiment. There is a saute function, but I’ve managed to enjoy lots of soups without using it so far.

Love Love Love. so easy to use just push one button and off you go. Only issue is cleaning the jug. It has a heating element at bottom so can’t be put into water however ways around that. Receipe are good. Made pea and ham and really nice plush very hot. Would definitely recommend.

I love this product and use it two to three times a week. I take off a point for the weight, it is quite heavy and I imag8ne some people with mobility issues in their wrists might find it a challenge to pour when full. However, it’s very robust and solid. It couldn’t be easier to use, but do remember to put HOT stock in for best results. One of my first batches was undercooked due to me putting in cold stock! Comes with good recipe ideas, the ‘frying’ setting is a bit of a con, but for a ‘chuck it all in and press the switch’ kind of soup, you can’t beat it. I deduct another point for the useless, pointless and annoying beeping that seems intent on telling you everything it is doing. I’d also like the option for it to just stop when finished rather than keep on a warm setting. I can’t stand bits in soups and this makes light work of kale stalks. It gets challenges with celery stalks, but I can live with tha

Did my research and opted for this new model from Morphy Richards…the added bonuses are pre clean and reheat…which has made it even easier to use.
Prepare and cook your soup early on the day then reheat it when needed later in the day.. certainly frees up time in the day
Loving this machine
I can now make regular batches of soup without being left with a lot of washing up (pressure cooker, blender, food processor). I haven’t used the saute function yet but my son has the Morphy Richards Saute and Soup Maker and tells me it works very well.

This has made life so much easier for me in just a few days and the soups I have made so far have been delicious. Easy to use, the saute feature is great. Cleaning has been easy. The only negative is it’s a bit difficult to put the lid/blade down when stirring the soup, for example, and you have to take the lid off. But I will manage and overall am delighted with this product.

super Souper !!
I have received my super Souper and have used it twice! But there are a couple of questions I would like to ask –
1. I made my usual recipe for soup adding the usual lentils, seasoning ie S & P and two stock sachets, sautd the onions but the soup seemed thinner and the seasoning non-existent. The quantity was exactly the same as my usual saucepan soup. How did my seasoning and lentils disappear??
2. sometimes it didn’t want to switch off !

I live in California. A friend who traveled to Europe told me about this amazing soup making machine. I eat lots of soup. I am quite lazy. I am not an enthusiastic cook. A soup machine that spits out actual from scratch healthy soup in 20 min intrigued me. And as I pure many of my soups, I love the idea of a machine that cooks and pures (less to wash – told you I’m lazy).
They don’t seem to sell good soup machines here in the US, certainly nothing close to this. So I ordered from amazon in the UK. Please note that amazon in the US “ships” things. Amazon in the UK “dispatches” them. Weird huh?
This machine is AWESOME! I’m eating healthier than I have in a year or more.
The recipes that came with the machine are stretching my brain. They call for exotic ingredients like “courgettes” (turned out to be a very common squash here known as a “zucchini”) or a “rasher” of bacon (per google that would be a “slice”) and “200 ml” (1/4 cup I’ve decided) of carrots. Discovering the true identity of these romantically named ingredients is a bit of a let down. But the soup has been delicious!
Oh, and the clean up instructions say to use “washing up liquid” rather than the “dish soap” which is commonly used here. Wonder where I can get me some of of that 😉
I had to get a voltage converter to use it here. Works great.
Excellent soup make
Excellent product which arrived on time. It does exactly what it claims to do quickly and efficiently. My only slight criticism is that you can only make enough for 4/6 portions, so that if you want to freeze a large amount you would have to make another batch.

Easy to use – but if you are a cook who likes to taste as you are cooking – this is not for you. However I would still highly recommend it. Once you put your ingredients in, you can walk away and get on with something else – 20 minutes later, hot tasty soup awaits you.

I bought this a little while ago and hadn’t used it. But I have now and it’s a terrific soup maker. The reason I hadn’t used it was because I’m on Weight Watchers and couldn’t find any recipes but I have now.
Fantastic kitchen gadget. Love it. My soups are delicious. I’ve tried most of the recipes in the recipe book and they are easy and very tasty. My homemade soups previously were more like baby food, now I’m proud to bring them to work and let everyone taste them. It’s very easy to clean as well.

his is amazing ,a little daunting initally ,but it really does produce great soups,with no more waste of veg.it is a hands off way of producing super soups.
Can’t fault this atm …had a cheaper version and it kept burning on the bottom..Even though it’s cost a little more it’s definitely worth it for the hassle of not burning and the ease of cleaning … Really easy to use ,judt follow the instructions to the letter . Must admit having home-made soups definitely make you feel more alert plus it’s so easy and cheap to make .

I was a little bit apprehensive about this appliance and wondered if it would end up at the back of the kitchen cupboard, along with several other of my ‘gadget’ purchases. However, I have been pleasantly surprised and have found it very easy to use. I’m still getting used to the solid/ liquid ratios (I don’t like weighing and measuring stuff), but I’m getting there and have so far managed to make some quite flavoursome and healthy soups.

Excellent , so simple and quick …. and soups are great. I’ve now bought 3! Initially bought for my 85 year old mother who finds it difficult to stand for long periods in the kitchen. She loves it. Then bought for myself and I make soup now, probably 2-3 times a week. And then bought for my now vegan/gluten free niece – great for her to be able to make hot nutritious soups. Takes 5 mins to chop veg, add liquid and switch on and approx. 20 mins later you have fabulous soup. Would highly recommend.
Excellent product. Only just tried for the first time and results using my own selection of ingredients were lovely. Just wish the price hadn’t kept going up, maybe an indication that it is good? A very good factor is that you can make 2,3 or 4 portions at a time rather than just 4 as is the case with some models.

Fantastic. I wondered whether this might be another gadget that would get relegated to a very full cupboard, but no. I use this at least twice a week and it makes fabulous soups. Even left over and old veg with some chicken stock and a spoon of cumin taste great.
Fabulous product! Extremely easy to use and cleaning is a dream. The little recipe book that comes with it has great recipes in it and it is so easy after a day at work to throw some fresh ingredients into the soup maker, set it off and half an hour later you have a hit, nutritious and tasty meal. Portion size is very generous too. Would recommend every time. Lovely to have a product like this that actually does live up to the advertising!

Furthermore add water afterwards and it cleans the base and the blades wonderful machine.
This soup maker is absolutely brilliant. I bought it for my partner as he loves making soups. He did say that he couldn’t get on with the recipes written especially for soup makers so he uses his own recipes with just a few slight adjustments. He has not had any failures so far. One of its best features is it saves time. Instead of standing at the cooker for up to 2 hours he just chops all the veg he needs, Fries the veg that needs frying and adds the rest of the ingredients, chooses the correct program and it’s off we go. A short time later, we have freshly cooked soup in the bowls and ready to eat. The soup maker is so easy to clean, in fact there is a program you can use to let it clean itself.
Any left is then frozen and kept in soup bags in the freezer for another day. (Now all we need is something similar that will cook a roast dinner without too much effort.)
Great soup maker, almost perfect, except that the saute feature is very strong, so need to monitor it to prevent burning before starting the soup making process.

I have only made smooth soups so far,and already experimented with adjusting my own recipes. Its in regular use and with winter ahead will continue to be heavily used. Worth every penny and the storage space in a small kitchen.

Everyone should have one, as a pensioner I wasn’t sure if I could use but after first attempt it’s easy, use all the leftover veg in the fridge and you have soup for 4, I freeze my extras

Great gadget and makes perfect soups! Each year we have an abundance of organic veg from allotments and run out of things to cook! But this soup maker means lunch and dinner can be replaced by soups which I know exactly where the ingredients come from! Cooks and blends in approx 24 mins and tastes great. Definitely a good buy.
I had a Andrew James soup maker before this that was pretty good but was far too loud and a bit of a pain to wash. The MR 501020 is much quieter and easier to clean. Oh and it makes great soup too.
Have used this item three times and made three different types of soup. Very pleased with the results and as I only need to make soup for two it is ideal.
Not only does this make delicious soups but the saut and reheat options cut out the need for extra pots and pans. It has a self clean function and the inside pops out for a more intense clean if required. This is much better than previous soup makers I have owned and the recipe book also includes full cooking instructions. Highly recommend
LOVE THIS! at first I thought it was a gimmick – why not just make it in the pan? But i have to say the soup tastes so much better – probably because I boil the @ss off the ingredients for far too long in the pan! Can’t fault it. Like many other soup makers reviewers, I previously wondered why anyone would ever buy a soup maker – now I’ve taken the plunge I can’t imagine why any soup lover wouldn’t want one of these. Made only two soups so far but couldn’t be simpler – co mess, no cooking smells and best of all, it washes up after itself. Love it!
We have been using this soup maker for a couple of weeks now & it is brilliant. This is an easy way to get children to eat vegetables that they wouldn’t normally try, my children love all the soups we’ve made. I have tried some of the recipes that come with the machine which were great (especially the broccoli & stilton recipe..gorgeous) and adjusted others to taste/available ingredients and each time the soup produced is perfect (most supermarkets sell prepacked soup mix which is great for an easy soup). The soup maker automatically keeps hot once finished but also as a reheat function that stirs the soup & reheats without the need for another pan. There are numerous other settings including number of portions, three consistency settings smooth, medium or chunky, smoothie setting & manual blend setting (haven’t used the smoothie setting yet but do plan to). There is a saut option so that onions etc can be sauted in the soup maker before adding the other ingredients which saves on washing up. Cleaning is also easy, add water & a small amount of washing up liquid, select pre-clean & this will ensure that there is very little left to clean afterwards.
Would recommend this product to anybody.
