Anonymous says: 18/09/2021 at I needed this connector to set up a USB stick on my phone to download the PS4 system software and manage some files on the USB stick to set it up. Pleasantly surprised. It took my phone a wee minute to recognise the usb stick but once it did it worked like a charm, nice and durable and high quality feeling. I didn’t need two of them but hey better to have a spare I guess lol Jelle de Bruin says: 07/09/2021 at I ordered these when my new MacBook Air arrived, to convert my existing USB peripherals to USB-C. These come in a small, easy to open packet. They’re an ideal fit, ‘clicking’ into place for a great quality connection. Well, well worth the money. Terrific value. Anonymous says: 28/08/2021 at Solid and extremely well made, while not heavy or too large, so they fit alongside others in adjacent ports with minimal additional length reducing the risk of damage if snagged. The only thing missing is a lanyard hole as these were bought to replace a few that disappeared, that I then found after ordering these. One thing I would like to see changed is the use of a plastic insert when cardboard, similar to the outer packaging would have been more than enough for these. ConcettIvy says: 27/08/2021 at The product has a very nice, high-quality feel – the grip feature on the sides is very nice and it fits perfectly – firm but not too tight. The metallic finish looks very upscale – and most importantly, peripherals work! Anonymous says: 24/08/2021 at Have bought this adapter several times as members of my family keep borrowing and not returning. I find the price very cheap and the adapter just works and works. I have been using it now for a while and is working perfectly. It is a small-size product so does not look bad, and also does not get heated up. Recommended product! casi says: 04/08/2021 at Pretty near indispensable if you have a 2021 model iMac and are not completely new to computers. Will allow you to view memory sticks, external hard drives etc. which apple seems to think is no longer a necessary ability. If you are used to shoving an SD card in the back of your Apple desktop, you’re gonna need a bigger adaptor, but for all other USB devices, this will suffice. Erica says: 03/08/2021 at This is the second time I’ve ordered adaptors such as these but first time from Nonda. Must say I’m impressed by how sturdy they are – the reason I had to order these were that the old ones bent out of space quickly. Also nice finish with the grips on the side and the logo is no-intrusive and looks cool 🙂 Very happy with these especially given the price! Sturdy and quality finish Anonymous says: 31/07/2021 at After buying a computer with only type C connectivity, I was on the cusp of paying further for a pricy hub with all the connections I’d lost. But then I realised that I really only needed these to attach to my external devices, which were all USB-2. Getting 2 in a pack was great, and I’ve not looked back. Job done. Work perfectly, and you would hardly notice them, as they blend in well with the car trim colour ….. Quick dispatch, reasonable price, and very nice quality.. Anonymous says: 13/07/2021 at I’ve used these on a phone and tablet both running Android 10 and they have connected the devices I have been trying to use. Only slight downside is because they are a monobloc design they don’t play well with cases, so if you use a case it might be better to look for a version with a short length of cable and plug/socke JoanneMcAlpine says: 07/07/2021 at Two USB 6 to USB converters were supplied exactly as specified and they worked perfectly on my new 24″ iMac M1, Which has only got USB 6 connectors. I was stuck as all my data was on external disks, including my Time Machine backup. I used one of these to connect that disk directly and the other to connect a usb powered hub. I had to use a hub as the system USB ran out of power when I tried backing up my iPad. Anonymous says: 06/07/2021 at My new Dell Laptop only has USB-C and I use these adapters to connect my headset and printer. The adapters are constructed very well and they are small enough to fit side-by-side. There is no rattle and I’m not worried that these would bend. Very good quality adapters, would buy them again. Anonymous says: 28/06/2021 at These are great, makes life a little bit easier!! I have a MacBook and two usb c; these unfortunatly wouldn’t sit side by side as they are a bit too bulky but I use one at a time as needed. TomHHOTtkkx says: 09/06/2021 at My car had USB-C sockets instead of the much more usual USB-A sockets/power supply – not sure why, perhaps due to the fact that USB-C plugs can be inserted both ways into a socket. Anyway, these two adapters enable me to use all my existing cables – they have beautifully machined housings, and were on a deal at the time. They do what it says on the tin! PoppyFontaine says: 07/06/2021 at The reason I gave 4 stars is I thought it might also be good for attaching an USB pen to the new iPad, 2021. Unfortunately this I cannot seem to do. Re upload the advert images as this seller and the brand manufacturer deservedly are worth the additional efforts we’ve put into this review… Enjoy. Brought from this brand before ... suitably impressed as always! Anonymous says: 18/05/2021 at Exactly what I wanted. Small form factor and converts USB C to USB A with no noticeable degradation in signal quality. The only small down side (why not 5 Star) is that they are a bit wider than the USB C slot (to accommodate the USB A) and laptops seem to put two USB C slots quite close together these days so cannot fit two of these side by side. Anonymous says: 17/05/2021 at These adapters work great. They’re really useful to have in my bag for when I need to plug anything with a USB-A into my MacBook. The only downside is that you can’t plug both of them into the M1 MacBook’s 2 USB-C ports at the same time. One will fit fine next to the USB-C charging cable or Apple adapter, but the width means that you can only use one at a time. Great adapter although could benefit from being slimme Aaron says: 15/05/2021 at These adapters work great for connecting wireless keyboards and mice to the Thunderbolt/USB C ports on the new 2021 iPad Pro M1, checkout the video. Anonymous says: 04/04/2021 at Bought these for a new Dell XPS laptop with no USB-A ports. I was surprised by the quality of these for the price. They have a metal (aluminum) casing and have a bit of weight to them. The finish looks high quality and i love the textured sides to them aswell. Very pleased. IleneOrellana says: 26/03/2021 at Some people have commented that you can’t get two side by side in Apple kit that has two recessed sockets. The adapters do have quite chunky bodies, but I use them for adapting ordinary USB leads to fit single type C sockets on a HP laptop and a Samsung tablet. The device sockets aren’t recessed, so these adapters fit easily and snugly into them. They are solidly made and have a quality feel to them. I have used them for data transfer and charging with no problems. Anonymous says: 25/03/2021 at Good for connecting non apple products. it comes with a pair of connectors and materials that looks sturdy and durable. I use it to plug in my mouse as this will be helpful for university (I have a bluetooth keyboard but not a bluetooth mouse so it becomes like a little laptop). A little wide so be careful if you have cases on your tablet or phone as it may not fit but i managed to fit it to my case. I very much reccomend, the colour looks great! Anonymous says: 05/03/2021 at Two great USB-C to -A converters that avoided me having to spend significantly more on buying many replacement cables when I changed out my laptop. So far I’ve tried mobile phones, tablets, external hard disk drives, and usb headphones and there have been no issues. They are well constructed and the USB-A connector fits snugly into the adapter so they stay nicely together even when in my bag – not managed to lose one yet as a result! PansyClouse says: 24/02/2021 at easy to knock could damage the port on the device if carless, but work well, have so far permitted me to move picture from a phone to a USB memory stick, use an old USB borescope with a tablet instead of a laptop and transfer pictures straight from a DSLR to a tablet as it unlocked a feature on google pictures I didn’t know existed Anonymous says: 23/02/2021 at Bought these as my new car has usb-c ports and my music memory sticks are usb. Loved so much bought another set a week later 🙂 Anonymous says: 16/02/2021 at It came with two adapters which was a surprise because I thought it would only be one :). Very good, I connected it to the USB cable from my Canon camera to my phone and imported the photos. You definitely do need to know how to use the adapter to do what u need it to because depending what screen your camera is on it can either connect to the phone battery or connect to the photos Very good! Does the job and comes with 2 Anonymous says: 13/02/2021 at There is nothing to dislike about this product so must give 5 stars. I have used the adaptors for a few months and they seem good quality and durable. I like the fact that you get 2 in a neat little box because I will probably lose one sooner or later. Shaw says: 03/02/2021 at Overall good USB C adaptors, but they don’t fit next to each other so you can only use one at a time. I have a macbook pro and that was an issue. Other than that they work perfectly and do the job Anonymous says: 31/01/2021 at Great value adapters for all my older USB devices, allowing me to connect them to my MacBook. Very compact, handy to carry around in the side pocket of my laptop bag. FinleyWalch says: 29/01/2021 at I recently purchased the latest Apple iPad Air and I needed to attach an external hard drive. I found these adapters from Nonda, never heard of them before, but you are getting 2 for less than 7, so I thought why not. Delivery was next day and free, ordered them in the afternoon and arrived next day. Nicely packaged and I was very pleased with the quality, they look well made with a nice finish and are a tight enough fit that they won’t wobble. Used them on numerous occasions now and they work perfectly. Would highly recommend and don’t forget to register your product for a 3yr warranty. Anonymous says: 26/01/2021 at First thing you notice once it is out of the box is its durability. You can tell it has been well built. It works really well and smoothly, so far I have not experienced any delay when using it. Really good product and would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap USB C to USB adapter. Anonymous says: 25/01/2021 at I’m an avid use of Apple products. However, ever since Apple removed USB ports from their laptops (goodness knows why), it’s become essential to buy a USB adaptor alongside MacBooks. Purchasing one from Amazon is definitely the wise choice as opposed to spending a significant amount of money on one from the Apple Store. Overall this is a small and attractive looking option that I don’t regret buying. I adore the rose gold colour, and love how it’s so small that I can leave it attached and fit it in my laptop bag. ***[PLEASE READ] HOWEVER, there is one negative that you should know before purchasing. PLEASE NOTE YOU CANNOT PLACE TWO OF THESE SIDE BY SIDE. THEY WILL NOT FIT NEXT TO EACH OTHER!! This shouldn’t be a major issue unless you’re planning on buying two pairs but please bear this in mind before purchasing! Thankfully, you can still fit a charger next to it as shown in my picture attached. I hope this review has been helpful:) Lovely & useful USB adaptors (but they do NOT fit side by side!) Anonymous says: 22/01/2021 at Nice to have a twin pack, nicer looking than other adapters – just look a bit classier. They do the job and are quite small so don’t leave you with big ugly adapters when you have say a USB stick plugged in. Choice of colours is nice too. Have bought another pack for a family member. PaulaGrantham says: 22/01/2021 at Exactly a expected which is always a treat. Work perfectly and weigh less than a feather so easy to store when not used. Lovely colours. Bought 3 when they were on offer as most things are USB now and these easily convert older USB devices to the new standard with little fuss. RamiroMcCormack says: 17/01/2021 at The adapter works as expected and sits flush with the laptop. They’re simple to use and are Plug and Play so work straight out of the box without drivers or other software. The fact that this is a 2-pack makes it even better value as it means I have a spare for when I inevitability lose one. There are two downsides, in my opinion. Firstly, they are too wide to use both simultaneously on a MacBook Air (I would assume this is also the case for the MacBook Pro). Secondly, the gold version doesn’t match the gold MacBook Air M1. It’s more of a yellow gold but it’s only cosmetic and doesn’t not impact performance. In hindsight, I would buy the space grey version just because the gold colour doesn’t match and it is the darkest colour available. For the price and performance, I’d definitely recommend these adapters. Anonymous says: 16/01/2021 at I purchased the two pack of these as they are a great bargain. Very nice quality materials and very compact size. They feel very sturdy and plug in securely. Keep in mind the ones in the two pack are slightly different than the more costly single ones. These do not have an indicator light and are a dark grey colour rather than the Apple type colours on the single units. No concern for my purposes and the small size makes them easy to lose so the 2 pack was the way to go for me Anonymous says: 11/01/2021 at Good tight fit. Works as expected. Update both failed in weeks. Tight fit became loose fit and intermittent contact. Charger and other devices fit as normal. Onmt use an my tablet. EvelynWienholt says: 09/01/2021 at I bought these for my 2021 Audi A3 which only has USB C sockets to plug in my phone for charging and a USB stick with my music on it. The physical fit of the adaptors is good and they look/feel well made. In use they’ve been flawless although, in common with many USB C connections, they get a little warm. Overall, a well made and useful product at a reasonable price. Anonymous says: 04/01/2021 at Exactly what I was looking for and the quality packaging just tempts you to open the box. Absolutely delighted when I took it out and the finish is of high quality and gives the impression of a much more expensive device. Plugged it and worked first time. The length of the item was perfect and as you can see from the photo it’s nice and compact. Good transfer rates though it as well. Highly recommend this adaptor if you need one. High quality, work perfectly and beautifully finnished Anonymous says: 02/01/2021 at Came exactly how they were pictured and I like how small they are. They are most definitely a good value for money but just a slight pity as was hoping to be able to use both at once but only the one fits at time. Good product though. Anonymous says: 27/12/2020 at I bought a two pack of the USB-C to USB plug in adapters, to use with my laptop. Tested with a headset and mic for Zoom and an external HDD and all worked perfectly. The colour match (gray) is perfect for my Lenovo. Can not go wrong for this price, and has given me two additional port to use with standard USB 2/3 devices, so a real benefit as I have been working from home since March 2020. I would buy more for other devices at home. I can’t give a 5 for durability as I’ve only just received them but the build looks good. USB-C to USB adapter - Does exactly what it should RussSikesentk says: 20/12/2020 at I now own several of these. The magnet is very strong, battery life is very good and very easy to setup and monitor via the web site. You even get a txt when the battery is running down. Instructions on the web site could be better but just stop for a moment and it becomes obvious how to set up fences etc Very happy custome Anonymous says: 20/12/2020 at These just work, not a lot to say, they have a heavy metallic feel to them and look durable. On a MacBook Air 2020 at least, In the very unlikely event you would want to use two simultaneously they are marginally too wide to allow this. You can put a cable type adaptor in the other port so you could use one of these and charge at the same time. That said I expect most old USB plugs would be too wide – the fault is not this adaptor but the spacing on the MacBook is a little too close. Very pleased to have something small and light that can be chucked in the bag and forgotten but handy to have being most existing connectors are of the old type. Anna Ch says: 07/12/2020 at .. Not much to say after only 2 days with little need to use it. After using one adapter for an hour or so, it did what it is supposed to do, but for how long? Also, you say it’s “USB C to USB Adapter” which seems to be an industry standard which can be confusing because I would say it’s a USB to USB C Adapter. i.e. I have a standard USB plug attached to my external DVD/BD drive which I wish to connect to a ‘C’ socket, hence USB to USB-C. I suppose it’s a matter of; am I adapting the plug or am I adapting the socket? RubinPleasant says: 04/12/2020 at Using on a MacBook and works well. Had seen comments regarding the width of the adaptor but that is not an issue for me as I only need 2 connected. Good value for money and was delivered on time. Valenti4948 says: 02/12/2020 at I find the execution of this product fine, but am worried about the whole design. Say when used with a USB memory stick, the potential for accidentally snapping the adapter flush with the computer leaving the USB-C plug in the computer and very hard to remove “feels” much worse than when using a USB stick directly in an old USB socket. Am now favouring designs with a short flexible wire between the the USB socket and the USB-C plug. (the alternative magnetic solutions look good too) Tamara says: 27/11/2020 at I was on an older MacBook (2008) for 11 years graduated to the new m1 MacBook Air, thus I was not aware that you need to hard press these into the usb-c slots to make a click sound nearly sent them back, but after realising this, I can safely say they do work and are beautifully made and let you access your old accessories, thus I recommend them. [Edit] After some extended use, there is a slight drawback the design does not allow you to attach two devices to the MacBooks usb c slots because of the bulking design. But if using a simple single device then its perfect. Anonymous says: 22/11/2020 at Really well made adapter, very solid, quality feel to it. The adapter is housed in a metal case with nice machining to give it grip on the sides. Both the socket and the plug work as intended with them both giving a good fit. Enables me to utilise the USB C port at the front of my PC case [Phanteks Evolv X for those wanting to know if this will fit in that space]. Speed wise, testing with the same USB drive between the USB 3.1 socket and the USB C socket at the front of my case, I got the same speed from both sockets but that was to be expected. The port is there though and I prefer C over A as you never need to try 3 times to get it to plug in. Really solid. Anonymous says: 21/11/2020 at I needed something like this for my Surface Go. Seems to fit the bill. I know there are loads of different kind of adapters and stuff but this works for me. The price was pretty reasonable too. LanPAIUhsemds says: 13/11/2020 at This feels like good quality product and works well. I’ve only been using it for a few days but so far no complaints and it does what it is supposed to do. I bought a single one a few months ago which I was happy with so when I needed a few more I saw the two pack listed (which cost as much as my original single version!) Recommend these (note; I’m using these on MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and LG UltraFine 4k Monitor. Anonymous says: 08/11/2020 at Using for my oculus quest 2 and works great. Fits snug and is not loose the construction is metal like and looks durable. It’s great! Anonymous says: 31/10/2020 at Nice design. They just work. Shame you can’t plug in 2 at the same time but it’s not their fault. It’s just how wide USB specs are. You can always use the other ports on a MacBook Pro. Would recommend. ZenaidaGagner says: 28/10/2020 at These work great! I bought them to plug in my cooling pad to my laptop and they did the trick. They look nice, though the gold colour doesn’t match my gold Mac perfectly. I think the rose gold would be a closer match, but honestly it isn’t that noticeable and I don’t really mind! My only concern with this product is that the USB ports of the Macbook air are quite close together, so I wouldn’t be able to fit both adaptors in at once. Meaning the second adaptor of the packaging is kinda useless for now. I will be of course saving it in case this one gets damaged or stops working, but if you’re looking to plug two usb’s at the same time, please be advised that they won’t fit! Works great - kind of bulky Anonymous says: 19/10/2020 at I was really surprised by the quality of this product, for the price I wasn’t expecting it. I was even more surprised when I found out I’d misread the product description and had 2 adaptors instead of the one I was expecting! However, as others have said having 2 of these adaptors is only useful if you was a spare or have another device as the design of this product means you can only plug one in at the time into the Macbook Pro (Which is what I imagine most would by this product for). This is the only downside! India80Fcqcja says: 19/10/2020 at What a gem these turned out to be. For the price I wasn’t expecting much, just a simple adaptor to do the job. However I’m actually really pleasantly surprised by the quality of these. They come in neat packaging and actually have a little weight to them when you get them out so don’t feel cheap and tacky. More than this there are little grippy bits on the side that make them nice to hold as you figure out which way the bloody USB fits in the end! I needed this to convert a blutooth mouse plug to USC and I can say they absolutely do the job! sspencer says: 11/10/2020 at bought to use with Apple MacBook air. The rose gold colour is a perfect match with the computer and at present work well to both connect and charge my phone from the computer. Hopefully the will continue to work well Anonymous says: 11/10/2020 at They are very useful for bridging the divide caused by the introduction of USB-C While I welcome the new standard it has caused many of my older devices to need updating. These adaptors are a good cost-effective way of doing just that. I have no idea what ‘Sheerness’ means, so I can’t comment. ConnieDelarosa says: 09/10/2020 at Recent Macbooks (and Windows devices, such as the Dell XPS) only have USB-C connectivity to the world, which, by and large, hasn’t caught up and is still using large USB Type A connectors for USB 3,2 and 1. These little converters should be standard issue with Macbooks, etc, but they aren’t. As I needed to buy them I was looking for something substantial and not too expensive. At 6 this double pack does the job admirably. They are metal bodied, so are effectively shielded from emitting interference that could knock out wireless devices (like mice and keyboards); this also makes them nice and solid – you won’t bend these easily. They are about an inch long so don’t take up much space and don’t tilt downwards when a Type A plug is inserted (as can happen with larger dongles). They are a good solid fit so shouldn’t come loose. They are a dark grey in colour (space grey ?), have a useful finger grip on the sides, making them easier to remove from sockets and feel substantial. The only down side I can see is that the USB ‘tongue’ is grey, not blue as is the norm for USB-3 devices. Not important, but a minor detail, certainly not worth removing a star for. Anonymous says: 29/09/2020 at Bought this as we have a new Mac with only Thunderbolt ports (no USB) and need to do stones connect old USB drives etc. The adapters are well made and look good. They appear to be high quality. One concern is that transfer speeds seemed quite slow .. I guess the USB connection acts as a bottleneck .. because the Thunderbolt should be super fast ??!! Well happy with good product . Anonymous says: 29/09/2020 at Bought this to allow a mobile phone (Huawei P20 lite & Samsung S7, both worked) to be used with faulty touch screen by connecting a mouse. It works great and I was able to log in to phone and transfer data to new phone. I am sure it can be used for many other things USB related also. Anonymous says: 23/09/2020 at Couldn’t believe these for the price (2 for 7). Bought to use on my tablet wth a usb wireless keyboard dongle. Works very well. Nice and weighty with a metal case and feel nicely made and robust. Anonymous says: 17/09/2020 at Works perfectly with my OnePlus 8 Pro – just plug it in and away you go. Nothing else is required. I did have a minor problem with the case I’m using – with the opening being a little off-centre I couldn’t fully plug in the convertor. It’s fine without the case so I might perform some light surgery on the case opening… MonserrCervante says: 25/07/2020 at Bought a pair of these a couple of days ago to use with my new MacBook Pro, and after receiving and using for a little while, decided to get a couple more for backup. Great bit of kit. Small, nicely made with fantastic detailing on the sides. The final thing was that there was no awful branding on them, just a beautifully finished dark grey shell. Thoroughly recommend! Andrew Joo says: 25/07/2020 at I needed this for my new car that Only has the small C USB charging points. This adapter works perfectly to charge appliances with the larger USB connector. MicheleHamlett says: 24/07/2020 at I used this Nonda product to connect / charge a keyboard and mouse to a MacBook Pro laptop with only Thunderbolt ports. The adapters are small size and connect with a positive click – more convenient than attaching a bulky multiple port dock / hub. Anonymous says: 10/07/2020 at Ordered this product due to purchasing a new MacBook Air 2020 and needed a USB C adapter as I previously had a MacBook Pro 2012. I didn’t realise until receiving this product that it was actually two adapters rather than just one which was a nice surprise when opening the packaging. In terms of the product itself, I was really impressed by who sturdy and durable the adapters were during their use so far. Also, the speed of transfer was surprising too. The time it took to copy my large data files from my external hard drive to my new Mac was extremely fast compared with the time it took to copy my files from my old Mac to my external hard drive. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who requires an adapter for their devices. Only negative I can think of is that when connected to my tablet have to be carefull not to knock memory stick or it could maybe damage usb socket on tablet, but I suppose this applies to all of this type of product. Overall well pleased with my purchase. Anonymous says: 17/06/2020 at Purchased the 2 pack for my MacBook Pro which has USB-C ports now and this works as advertised. Put the old USB-A male end into the female end of the adapter and the USB-C male end into the Mac. No drivers are required for this product. This product is different to the single one, it has no branding on the adapter or a led light. But in my opinion, this is a cheaper option. The only gripe I have with this product is it’s a little chunky which means you can’t use these side by side, however you can feel the premium with the excellent aluminium finish! (its not exactly the same colour as my MacBook Space Grey but it won’t stick out like a thumb) Nice and cheap USB-C for a single peripheral Anonymous says: 15/06/2020 at I’ve got a USB-C hub for my MacBook Pro which has lots of connections to it. But sometimes I just want to travel even lighter – and then these are just the ticket! Tiny enough to fit into a pocket; cheap enough you could leave one on the end of each USB-A lead (replacement leads often cost more than one of these and the existing lead!). They just work – no hassle – and are worth their weight in consumer electronics! Anonymous says: 25/05/2020 at I needed a device that would allow me to download photos and videos from my phone to USB storage. This did exactly what I needed. I have a Honor 10 phone that takes a Type C Charger. This fit it well but you do need to take the phone cover off for the connection to work. This pack included 2 adapters so I have given the other one to my husband for his phone if he ever needs to attach a USB. Really great value for money, a simple device that does exactly what it’s supposed to. ShaniHrgjwynco says: 08/05/2020 at Having just purchased a new Mac I found that I couldn’t connect my external drives and other USB accessories as there are only USB-C inputs available. The Nonda adapters came to the rescue; they are well made and work with all external drives plus a headphone amplifier. I like them because they accept almost the full length of the USB – some other makes are only around 1 cm long. I’ve now got 4 (two packs) and leave them attached to my peripherals rather than having to swap them over. Very satisfied. lasvegasnvblog says: 18/04/2020 at I bought these because I liked their compact size. I use them – in preference to other adapters – because they are not only small and unobtrusive, but also do not affect the throughput of high performance devices like external hard drives, SD card readers, etc. See photo for comparative size on the keyboard of a MacBook Pro 13″. Excellent product, provides compatibility without compromising speed Anonymous says: 11/04/2020 at These USB C to USB Adapters are perfect and at a great price. Feel nicely robust, with a serrated thumb grip to get hold of. Most importantly for me – see pic – they are incredibly slim and fit side by side in adjacent USB C ports. My HP desktop PC only has three standard USB ports, with two needed for wireless mouse & keyboard, so only one spare then! Now the wireless mouse & keyboard dongles sit neatly in these adaptors, leaving all three standard USB ports available for other peripherals. Brilliant USB C to USB Adapte Anonymous says: 09/04/2020 at I do have the Apple accessory for my 2019 macbook pro however wanted more adapters at a lower cost, and thought I would give these a go. They are brilliant and work instantly, it is made of metal and the same shade of grey as the macbook itself. One note I would say is that when a USB is connected, the adapter will heat up considerably, I wouldn’t count this as a worry however it may be something that could be reduced in the future designs, however this doesnt deserve to be ducted stars for something which is so minor, considering the macbook pro can heat up incredibly when using high end tasks. Great job. EstelleP03 says: 06/04/2020 at After a frustrating day trying to get my Citronic sound digitizer to work with my Dell laptop via the plug-in Dell multi port bridge, I discovered that the the USB port in the bridge is v e r y finicky with regards to the USB input. Solution? Buy these and never look back! Plugged the digitizer into the adaptor, then the adaptor into the USB-C port. Up and running with no hassle or tantrums in seconds. A well made product for a good price. By registering the product on Nonda’s website, your warranty is extended to 3 years. Bonus. Highly recommended. MargoMayne says: 29/02/2020 at This is a beautifully made product, lovely quality and as tiny as I think it’s possible to make this kind of adapter. Oh, and it works too. I’ve knocked one star off because of the colour. It’s not really grey as described or shown; it’s more of a brown colour as you can see in the photo of it plugged into my Mac. Beautiful! CelestaWitzel says: 27/02/2020 at I’ve got a ‘hub’ for my macbook pro, and ipad pro, you can shove all sorts of plugs into it. But for ease of use, these little USB C to USB adaptors are perfect. So much so that I bought a few and always leave them on the device that I am using. They are sturdy, feel well made and perfect for the job. Only thing I would say is that like all small devices they are easily lost! Recommended. ManuelaEusebio says: 19/02/2020 at First impressions was the feel of the product. It feels very premium and durable. Works as you would expect it to. Was a bit conscious of the space either side of the USB-C port, but from the picture, you can see that was not an issue at all. Great piece of ki Carlottas Beauty Spot says: 03/02/2020 at Due to my old MacBook Pro frying its graphics chip, I’ve been forced to purchase a newer model (decided on a 2018) which of course comes equipped with 4 x USBC ports. I have amassed a collection of cables which plugged into my old MacBook utilising USB2, USB3, RJ45 and mini Display Port, so the problem was how am I going to use all my peripherals without running out of ports or purchasing lots of new cables. Well, part of the answer was to purchase these Nonda USB3 to USBC adaptors. I’d never heard of Nonda, but based on their small size (approx 16mm width) they looked ideal to terminate my USB3 cables. Good value at 2 in a pack for 8.60, but to be honest I didn’t have high hopes for the quality. However, they arrived very quickly and I was pleasantly surprised on opening the simple but adequate packaging, that the case is machined aluminium with a silky smooth anodised finish…very nice indeed. The colour blends well with the Space Gray Macbook Pro, but not an exact match…this isn’t a problem for me. So do they work? Yes perfectly! Pushed them onto the ends of my USB 2 and 3 cables and plugged them in the MacBook where they entered the socket with a firm push ending in an audible and tactile click. Nice and secure! As always the USB2/3 cable is a reasonably secure push fit into the adaptor, it could be pulled out if you tried hard enough, but if its critical it doesn’t get removed, I would personally tape it to the adaptor. This is a failing of USB 2/3 design and no reflection on the Nonda product. On each side of the adaptor are some very finely knurled grip panels. I’m guessing this is pressed or cast into the surface, not as sharp as cut knurling but does the job equally and perfect for grasping the adaptor when removing. It’s worth noting that you can’t fit two of these adaptors side by side in the MacBook as there isn’t enough room between the two USBC inputs. On the basis of the above I would certainly recommend them but I can’t comment on the durability of of these small adaptors as I’ve only just received them, but they look like they will last. Almost forgot, if you register them on the Nonda website, you get an additional 2 years warranty…so 3 years warranty in all. USBC to USB3 adaptor...pleasantly surprised! Anonymous says: 23/01/2020 at I received my adapters today which i purchased for use with my surface pro x. I have a Microsoft Arc Mouse which i wanted to connect to my surface. a cable version was to unsightly so i found these and they are exactly what i needed. Work perfectly, and the bonus for me is they are nice and compact. Great many thanks MichaelTrollope says: 16/01/2020 at Solid material and great presentation in a tiny package! I love the metal design, it gives the adapter a really clean and classy look. It doesn’t impact the mobile aspect of the iPad Pro… easy to connect quickly a standard USB device like a mouse or keyboard. A small travel mouse is my weapon of choice, as I found that some of the Bluetooth devices occasionally dropped their connection via the accessibility menu. This adapter has proven to be rock solid so far. Anonymous says: 08/12/2019 at I bought 4 of these adapters for such things as Logi Mouse dongle, Wireless headset dongle plus other frequently used USB devices. They are small and compact enough to leave attached to cable / dongle. Only issue is they are are too wide to fit two side by side but you can get a normal USBC connector and one of these adapters on the same side together so its not a major issue. Very small and neat solution for a Macbook Pro connection to legacy USB devices LowellDehaven says: 03/12/2019 at Works well with Macbook Pro 2019 but if you are looking to attach these side by side, then that’s not going to happen as the devices are too big width wise. Milbank Quarterly says: 30/11/2019 at I purchased a Surface Go tablet and the pen to go with it. But found that in several situations I preferred to use a mouse. I was unable to find a mouse that plugged directly into the Microsoft USB and also unable to purchase a straight, simple adapter. I eventually found an adapter but it had the normal USB socket on the end of a short dangling wire, which I was told was the only type available. I found this little device on the web and it is superb, it does the job intended and connects my mouse and tablet with no dangly bits. So much more convenient than any other system I have come across. Mike Newer Comments »
