Easy replacement for much older cat flap
Just the same as the two old flaps that our boisterous cocker spaniel broke one evening, so easy to replace. A bit fiddly getting the tiny bolts that hold the two halves together, but it does have the’ locking’ loose flap you slide in to block access both ways.
Arrived in no time.

Does what it’s ment to, it is cheap, I had trouble lining it up through a 9″ wooden wall, but thats not the products fault. Good overall.

Very pleased
We bought the large size to accommodate our Jack Russell’s, easy to install and comes with a slide in block panel for security reasons and to keep the dogs in when needed. It does make a bit of a rattle when dogs are going in or out, ( a swinging flap to ensure the flap goes back to original position) the dogs were a bit wary at first but after a day or two they have got used to the clatter and use the flap freely and with confidence, they love their new freedom and independence.

I bought this to replace the same one that my grandchild broke whilst trying to go through it. Easy to fit but very draughty around the top when closed, so I added some brush strip to the top, it didn’t affect the opening or closing but managed to reduce the draught significantly.

My last dog flap has lasted at least 12 years, but plastic can only take so much impacted from excited dogs running in and out, I found that this model matched what I had and it was easy to swap like for like, I’m confident this flap will out live my old girl bless her, good sturdy product, very happy with my purchase.

Great cat flap, i bopped my head against the flap and then theirs lol, there was alot of open n closing until they got the jist, used treats to encourage them through, by the end of day 2 they worked it out. Now they are constantly in and out all the time.

Good quality cat flap
The item arrived very quickly.
It was easy to install as it was a replacement for an old cat flap that our cat had grown out of. She struggled to get through the old one as she has gained a little weight in her old age. I had to enlarge the old hole in the door as this one was bigger then the old one, which with the right tools is easy. The door itself is very clear so she can sit and look out before she goes out. The door is almost silent on closing so we cannot hear if she has gone out or come back in. It is of sturdy construction as most Petsafe products are, hence the price.

a bit of rain isn't a problem
Having been without a cat flap for a number of weeks it was a pleasure to be able to fit this one easily
It doesn’t always stay tightly closed when the wind is in the wrong direction, but a little bit of rain isn’t a problem
My postman likes this better than my old letter box.
He says its much better to get the post in the door than the old one, he can even get the odd parcel through too! Such a good idea, don’t know why its just sold as a pet post box! It works for humans too

I have had to fit a couple of these over the last 7 years or so. Their easy enough to fit, my only complaint is that the flap its self becomes brittle over time and then breaks. Not to expensive to replace and minutes to fit after first install.

Might not be so easy to install for non-handy persons, due to the multiple parts which all need aligning and connecting during installation. However it works well and looks nice.

Direct fitted replacement for old cat flap approx.15 years old
I bought this to directly replace an old cat flap installed in our metal garage door which was letting in rainwater. I did not need to drill new holes which were 14cm apart from top to bottom. Fitted exactly.
The cat flap I replaced was a Staywell – Made in England by Reilor Ltd – Registered Design Numbers 2006 697/2006 698 – Copyright 1990.
Only issue is like other reviewers have said, the bolts are too long at the top which stops the cat flap from fully closing inside. I will eventually file the bolts down with a hacksaw but as we don’t use it as a cat flap I’ve no need to rush! The outer door does the job I needed it to.

This is our 3rd door in 16years, our border collie cross is just very enthusiastic when she goes in/out. I feel some of the plastic door frame could be a bit more substantial also the magnet really doesnt always keep the good old british wind out. All in all it does what it is suppose to do 🙂

This is a fab catflap, my 2 cats now treat their home like a hotel, in and out every 5 mins had the odd gift brought to me in the shape of a mouse, its magnetic so closes closed immediately, it took my hubby and neighbour a while to do as was tricky.

Perfect for a cat, although I don’t have a cat. It’s was an impulse buy, just because I’m crazy like that. I plan to get a cat soon, and when I do, I’m going to be encouraging the little furball to use this regularly. That’s how I roll.

This replaced an old similar model. Very easy to install, comes with a cutting template if fitting for first time. All relevant fittings included, just need to drill a few holes.

Our cat likes to rotate the human bed she lays on (choice of 3 lol). My teenage son was becoming weary of constantly letting the cat in and out of his room at any time she chose throughout the night! So, we installed this cat flap into his bedroom door. So now at 3 am and 4am and 5 am etc etc you hear the gentle flip flap of the cat using the door instead of the screaming from her to be let in /out/in/out/in/out ….everyone wins….p.s it was easy to fit with help from my son as I am sight impaired. It can be locked if you wish.

Fit for purpose
We use this on an internal door from our kitchen to porch, it works fine but the locking mech isn’t great. Our door is really thick so you have to pull on the plastic lip in order to slide the plastic lock down, the lock is just a plastic board that you slide down to stop the flap from opening. We don’t really lock it often, and now just block the flap with a bag of cat litter instead.

Very good item when in use. Maybe a bit fiddly to install for some less practical people. Have had 3 now and although they have all lasted well the last two have suffered the same fate ie. Broken thin section at the top of the outer flap.

We got this one as this was the same one that fitted in the gap, they are very strong as my old one lasted 15yrs but my new dog broke it, it also brings in a lot more light with a see through flip.
