What’s the difference between the PS5 console and the PS5 Digital Edition console?
The only difference between the PS5 console and the PS5 Digital Edition console is the inclusion of an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive in the PS5 console. The PS5 Digital Edition console does not feature a disc drive.
Are there any performance differences between the PS5 console and the PS5 Digital Edition console?
No. The consoles’ performance is identical, outside the existence of a disc drive.
Can I use both PS5 console models in either horizontal or vertical orientation?

Very compac
Very compact, has its own power source which frees up the ports on the front of the ps5. Controllers fit onto the charging dock with a reassuring click,well made and useful item.
No more messy charge cable
I mainly bought this for aesthetic reasons, although now we have a baby in the house, eliminating a long charge cable can only be an added positive.
I only use this to charge a single ps5 controller, and as it isn’t tethered to the console, it can now be placed somewhere much more convenient and looks decent while doing it. It also relieves any stress on the USB-C socket of the controller.
It does require a spare plug (which in an already congested media centre can be an issue), but that’s a small price for something that makes things look much tidier.
Very handy not to have to break out a full controller just to access Netflix and Disney on my PS5.
Works well and my only complaint is that I wish the buttons were back-lit (woken up by movement, perhaps) as its really hard to see what you’re doing in a darkened room. Loses a star for the difficulty using it in a typical movie-watching room.
Even some more tactile marks on some of the buttons would be useful.
Absolute game change
I wish I bought this sooner. Having a dock that can charge my two PS5 controllers while I’m doing something else is very convenient and makes me not have to deal with a dead controller in the middle of my play sessions.
The controllers slot in very easily and the fact that there are safety features in place that prevents overcharging reassures me that I can trust the device (that being said, please make sure to practice proper safety so that you don’t cause an electrical fire, regardless of the device or safety features present)
10/10 would buy again. If you want to save some money though, the Power A charger that’s officially licensed also works well. The same as this but a different design and slightly lower cost. Can’t go wrong with this one though!

From the PS5 adds on, this is my favourite gadget, as it looks super nice, the shape also reminds of the PS5 shape itself.

Even works on the TV! As I use ps5 for all TV streaming I now so not even need TV remote so I only have ps5 media remote to switch on TV, control sound volume and navigate ps5 media.
I’ve been fortunate enough to own a PlayStation 5 since their launch. And whilst I love the console, one thing I detested was the battery life on its controller. This was made even worse because my console is in the living room, so if I didn’t want to disturb the rest of my family, I also needed earphones attached, which further drained the battery. Bought the charging station on the Prime Day deal and honestly can’t understand why I didn’t go for one earlier. It charges fast, it’s quite small, and it doesn’t need the PS5 to be on at all.
I will recommend it because it is very useful in case if your charging pin is broken and you can’t charge it than you can use this charger instead of replacing the whole controller so therefore it is very useful.
A must have
Even if you only have 1 controller, this is a must have. It’s a Sony product so you know it’s good quality and it’s so much easier and tidier than charging via a USB cable. Cannot recommend enough
Perfect Remote Control
This purchase out of the ps5 accessory’s is definitively worth buying because I don’t have a remote control for my tv it’s came in very handy and useful. There isn’t no faults with this Purchase However The Manual guide of setting it up was very easy to go through but if you that you ain’t gonna make use out of it you should get it anyway to add it to your collection x

Its super easy to use, rather than plugging your controller in while you play, you can unplug the PS5 after you’re done playing and put your controller on charge ready for your next gaming sessio

Works great and looks great – I’d argue that it looks better than the 3rd party ones you can get! Only criticism is that it needs its own separate power adapter, it would be better if it could run off the USB ports on the machine.

Paid the money, worth every penny
I bought a cheap knock off version when I bought my PS5, which I sent back. I should have just bought official on day one.
This just works, and works well.
This is a convenient remote that allows me to play media on my ps5 with the added bonus of being able to control my TV volume and turn on/off without needing the original TV remote.
But…
Two things I would change about this is would be to make it a rechargeable unit with a USB socket and to have programmable media app buttons. I don’t use disney+, netflix, or Spotify, but I do use prime streaming. So it would be nice to be able to reprogram those other app buttons to other possibilities. It would be nice to be able to reprogram those buttons to quick start games of our choosing.
Useful charger, forget the cables!
Me and my other half are somewhat forgetful of plugging in our PS5 controllers after a game session, which usually leads to frustration for one another when you pick up the controller and find it’s almost dead.
This charger helps without much fuss and needing to worry about plugging in, be aware this charge requires to be plugged into the mains there’s no option for USB Plug in.
As for how you use it with your controller, you simply drop the controller on the charging dock and it’ll click in place. It relies on the contact pads on the controller where you’d normally plug in your headset. And that’s it! you’ll see the controller pulse an amber light and it’s charging. Hassle free.

Charging my controllers has never been so easy! Too many times in a vital match of Fifa, Destiny or CoD has my controller died and ive had to quickly rush to get me back into the game and on charge, but this has TWO charging ports ready to have your back!

It is so handy just to pop my controller onto this charging dock. No need for a usb cable. The ps5 can be fully powered down as this dock has it’s own power supply. having two PS5 controllers eliminates any down time or the need for a long usb cable when your battery runs out.
I love it and it keeps the room tidy
Really love this. It should come as standard for all PS5s. tidys up the place and the controllers have a home now that charges them up! I only have to use the wired connection for a once in a blue moon software update. Love i

Bought this to try and extend the life of my controller – I got to say it’s great. The batteries supplied are rubbish so swap them out, but yes aside from that it’s great!

Its a dual sense charger that has a mains plug and not a USB which I was quietly surprised. Its does what it says on the tin.

Charges two controllers easily
The cable on the dock is long enough for you to put it where you want it without having to worry about it being too far from a plug socket. The design is aesthetically pleasing and charges controllers quickly.

Marvellous bit of ki
Don’t bother with the cheaper models made by other companies. I did, just because I couldn’t get hold of this official one, and it failed after 3 months. This official version is superior in everyday. Sturdy, robust and more importantly- works!

brilliant headse
fantastic headset great sound but the only issue i have is the the right hand side ear headset the stictching starts coming away and you can see the foam from the inside iam not sure if this is a common issue.
