Excellent service
Bought this product in May 23 and developed a fault, I contacted seller on 16th December 23 with description and video of faulty the 23rd of December I received notification and tracking information new item replacement was on its way. The item did not arrived and showed as being delivered 25 miles away from my postcode when Royal Mail had done its investigation. Contacted seller again 8th January 24 after Royal mail said it had been returned to sender. Hychika responded within 24 hours and a replacement was received on 15th of January 24. Hychika customer service is professional and prompt would definitely use and recommend them.

Very useful when outside – much safer than trailing a lead to a plug point. Cuts through significant wood. Let down by poor quality blades which did not last very long at all – buy some better ones when you order this.
Very efficient and useful for varied tasks.
The saw was perfect for my needs. I used a reverse blade to saw through and remove a timber structure which was very close to the ceiling.

It’s not as quick as the higher end saws but it does the exact same job it’s perfect for around the garden and wee odd jobs and it’s surprisingly very light compared to others I recommend this tool

Came with 2 batteries which charge really quickly and power the saw for a pretty good time. With the right blade this saw will make easy work of most tasks I threw at it.

The saw is brilliant, the blades, not so much. Had to order a different set of blades. The blades that came with it flexed too much, didn’t trust them to cut thicker wood/ branches. The battery was quite good, however if your cutting thicker wood/ tree then it will die quicker. The charging time was good. Can’t complain. Overall, brilliant product, not so great blades for what I wanted it for. I would recommend.

Bought as a gift for son, he loves it. Says it takes all the hard work out of sawing and can be altered for fine cuts or rough. Having 2 batteries is a real bonus

I was unsure about this item but it arrived very quickly and was so easy to set up and use. I have to say that I was that impressed with it I ordered another Hychika product which also arrived very quickly and was very good quality. Battery charge is very good, and I cannot fault either product.

Hi this is my new toy for DIY and the garden just got it today I can start to say this is a fantastic piece for the price its very powerful and extremely easy to operate this is a good product for the money I got 4 new blades and it comes with 2 batterys and a charger it’s extremely lightweight which is good for me as I have a bad arm.
When I gave it ago in the garden it cut the garden bushes very well indeed and then I had ago in the garage on plasterboard to cut a section out to pull some wires through very easy it cut through all in all I would definitely recommend this its not that expensive so it’s a good buy for me

A really Versatile Saw - great value.
I purchased this saw in february 2021 as a ‘punt’. Not only has this proved to be an excellent tools used for all sorts on project from gardening through to decorating and cutting firewood when camping, but it switch me on to Hychika products, with the shared battery ethos i now go to this brand before looking anywhere else. The products are robust with excellent battery life( this device was supplied with two batteries which is a blessing on larger jobs.

Not as ergonomic as advertised
Don’t like the position of the safety switch it makes it difficult to use battery life is decent and the 2nd battery is helpfully a good buy despite my moans
Good product for the price
It is fairly heavy as it no doubt needs to be. It feels robust and is very simple to operate. The work needs to be held firmly to operate. A hand saw leaves the other arm free to hold the item being sawn but this does not unless you have strong wrists. It is not recommended for obvious safety reasons although the on/off switches do giveconfidence that if the machine is dropped during operation the blade does stop immediately as it does if the variable speed switch is released. It does vibrate and may cause discomfort if used for a long periods. Two batteries are good for continuous use but I cannot comment on their overall durability. For the home use I need it for it will be perfectly good. The wood saw cut through 4 inch fense posts in no time

Easy to use
Only just got it but so far so good. Using for trimming trees at the allotment. Battery life is fine. Comes with 2 batteries but only used one for 1 hrs use and still going strong. Charged very quickly as well. Seems fine for the price but using domesticity and not commercially so could not comment on that area.

Poor quality , don't recommend,!
This looked good initially and worked well for a few months then one of the parts kept falling off, trying to track down & get a spare part absolutely impossible.
Tried to contact Hychika, in the UK or anywhere , no response, no spare parts no customer service nothing ,!! Apart from one email from China eventually.
now the shaft has broken out of the machine, after 7 months of occasional , the machine is now useless as I said previously can’t get a spare part so will have to be thrown away.
BUT they should have a 12-month warranty , so pretty annoyed with the whole situation as no one wants to know,!! and I’ve just wasted 70 can’t contact anybody , what are the disappointed by the whole situation.
I would not recommend buying any Hychika tool as if anything goes wrong you may as well just throw it away. There is no help or support from anybody

How did I cope before this tool
This saw is better than I expected. It works great. Battery life is decent and second battery enables bigger jobs.

I couldn’t believe how good this saw is for the price and Two batteries is a bonus.
It’s cut through everything I’ve thrown at it including tree trunks that were so big that I had to rotate them to cut all the way through as the blade wasn’t long enough, this isn’t a criticism of the blade but the fact that it kept going under such load, I’m very impressed indeed.
Highly recommended and I don’t say that very often.

Great piece of kit. Used mainly to saw thick (6″+) branches. Battery life is short but I am told that these types of tools eat batteries. No battery stock in UK but this company was very helpful and advised me how to order from Germany via Amazon- done, easy peasy

Worth the upgrade from a wired saw.
I have a stronger wired saw.
But the wire is a problem. This one is less stronger. However it gets the same job done as the stronger one.
Ant the no wire is not a bonus but a necessity. You dont always have cables at the ready
Battery life is good. As one is used i charge the other one and I always have loads of battery life left over.

Quite Impressive
Got it fair bit cheaper than current price but even at the increased price it is good value. Well made and the blade change mechanism is easy to use. Bonus of two batteries made it a more attractive buy and on the few occasions its been used, the battery life seems fine. The saw works well and during some extensive cutting back of garden bushes with 6-8 cm branches, had no difficulty in cutting through.

Looked around for similar brands but glad I chose this one. Relatively easy to use and not too heavy. Good for trimming back overgrown trees but not a replacement for a small chainsaw when cutting the thicker branches.

While clearly this doesn’t give the power or battery life off some of the more expensive products for every day DIY use I am very pleased with this. While the battery does not last as long as I might like the fact that it comes with two gets around this problem quite easily.

Great for cutting back branches in the garde
My partner is in the building trade and has used this type of saw regularly; unfortunately the old saw is no longer working, so a new one was required.
He wanted a cordless saw, for ease of use, and knowing that these powerful batteries soon run down, insisted on one with a spare battery. We found this ‘Hychika’ one which seemed to compare favourably to the recognised brands, but was considerably cheaper, in fact about half the price; plus it had that important spare battery.
He was pleasantly surprised when it arrived as it felt solid and fairly weighty, like the one he’d used before, and I’m told performance wise, it is just as good, if not better. He charged both the batteries, one for use immediately, and the other ready for when it was needed. The saw has been purchased originally for tidying up the garden before winter; chopping down overgrown branches and bramble. He is using his garden gloves to grab the bramble into brunches and then chopping downwards; branches again, hold and cut. This was quite a big job so he did need the second battery to complete the garden, which was ready to use by the time the first one was used up. A light at the end of the saw holder came in very handy, as it was becoming dark before the full job was completed.
A choice of 4 different sizes blades, with the two batteries, and a battery charger are all included in the pack. My partner who is experienced in using this type of power tool, is very pleased with the performance, cutting power, ease of use, and the general feel of the tool and accessories. He considers the saw set to be very good value, and would be happy to recommend.
Good portable saw
Ordered this saw to do some DIY work in the garage and finally repair a fence it arrived pretty much straight away despite amazon saying it may take up to a week.
It seems pretty powerful for what I need it for, did a little bit of gardening and cut some things and worked well so far, the battery lasts forever and you get two of them for longer jobs. Very impressive so fa

For the price, it is a very useful, practical cutting tool. Easy to use. The four blades supplied, two for wood and two for metal, are reasonably robust. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase.
Does the job but could do with better batteries
Bought several months ago & have been using it regularly since. Been using Bosch blades which are a huge improvement of those included in the package. Only issues I’ve had were battery life, manage around 15 / 25 minutes on one battery depending on what I’m doing, using a metal blade when cutting up pallet boards & the battery’s done in 15/20 mins. Just bought the Dewalt XR DCS367 bare unit for the bulk of my work as I’ve got plenty of 5ah batteries but for light work or as a back up the Hychika is a bargain.

18" Tree trunk
Garden renovation needed to get rid of tree trunk, I’ll be honest I should have gotten a corded one for this job but I always thought I needed a cordless saw.
Blades are giving an extremely fine cut on a live trunk so you have no problems with logs extra.
I’m beasting this saw and I’m not using the guard, it’s doing well. Battery is about at minutes of beasting and just over an hour charge.

Very handy little saw, no messing about with cables. Only used it for cutting branches up to now. No problem cut tip to 3 inches diameter, battery life seems ok, but they provide 2 to be on the safe side. Can easily be used single handed. All in all very pleased with it, a good price and very fast delivery.
perfect for DIY
What a super saw, i have been needing to prune a small fir tree outside our front door for some time now, i have had silly quotes from tree surgeons so i have been looking at reciprocating saws and small chain saws. Finally decided on the HYCHIKA best choice ever, as the branches varied in thickness i also bought a packet of sabre tooth blades a bit bigger than the ones supplied. Batteries charged i was ready, spent about an hour trimming alot of branches and the two top shoots and the battery was fine i had no need to use the second . I am seventy five years old and i found using this saw quite easy, nicely balanced [two handed] but can be used one handed not to heavy easy to change blades distance pad and batteries, as other reviewers have noted could do with a case though currently using the box to store and on the lookout for a suitable case.

Just what I needed
A versatile tool which saved me using my hand saw. In the photos it shows how capable the unit was cutting through some 6″ branches and took 1.5 charged tool batteries. I did purchase special blades to cope with the extra width suitable for tree pruning. Very good value and saved the hassle of using my bulky chainsaw.
