Gate was super easy to install. Locking feature is also great. We have this blocking our basement stairs to keep our dogs out. Works well for this. I’m not too sure about keep children at bay , but this product is very sturdy long as you install it properly.

Great product...for bottom of staircase
Love the sleek look, see through mesh, and easy installation. The locking mechanism is good. Expands and retracts easily. USE ONLY for the bottom of the stairs going up. Not enough tension to feel safe at top of the staircase. Great product though.
Used zip ties to fasten the gate (125 lbs) and it doesn’t move at all. Avoided using screws all together which is great.

Functional for large opening coverage.
The retractable baby gate is an acceptable solution for large openings. The largest complaint is the installation method does not work if there is decorative trim at the screw points as the mounts expect a flush install. For our install we 3D printed adapters to allow for installation over the decorative trim. The gate itself is extremely flexible, so if you are not careful in its use the material will stretch or deform from external pressure. The final nuance is the ‘lock’ method for the opening side. There are two hook/latches on the opening side and the tension from the wound side makes it had to line up the top and bottom latches.
Overall, the system is still good and covers a large opening which is extremely beneficial.
This is a durable gate. Aesthetically pleasing. The only comment would be to include spacers for installation.

We have just installed this gate so the jury is still out on quality, but I have no worries that it will meet my expectations as anything from Amazon has. We used it once already today and it kept our European Boxers exactly where we wanted them… and one of them is 120 lbs & the other is a 4 month old puppy that weighed 34 lbs at 3 months!

I bought this to keep my starving dachshunds out of the kitchen when I’m cooking. Very easy to install-took less than 10 minutes. My Libby was very miffed that she couldn’t get into the kitchen lol

Besser als Türschutz dann Treppenschutz
Der Trschutz ist toll und seine Montage ist super einfach. Auch das Gitter an sich macht einen gut verarbeiteten und robusten Gesamteindruck. Es kann von greren Kindern berklettert werden, so dass es nur Kleinkinder schtzt. Als Treppenschutz ist es wegen der Montage nicht so gut geeignet, da ich bezweifle, dass es lange hlt, wenn das Kleinkind versucht, es zu schieben.

Easy to use and install
Was easy to install and so far easy to use. Comes with all fixings. You will need a 5mm bit for the wall plugs. Got this to stop our small dog going up the stairs and so far has been effective.

Dies kann an z.B. Treppen von nten sein.
Es wird eine BReite von bis zu 150 cm berbrckt.
Wenn das Rollo zusammengezogen ist, dann kann ber die Gesamte Breite die ffnung genutzt werden.
Anders verhlt es sich bei Tren mit Rahmen. Da hat man nur den kleineren Trrahmen zur Verfgung.
Schade, dass wir dieses Gitter nicht auch an unserer Terrassentr verwenden knnen, da hier leider die oben genannten Bohrungen gemacht werden mssten.

Wir haben eine Treppe welche sehr steil herrunter geht dafr haben wir den Schutz bestellt. Leider muss auf beiden Seiten gebort und geschraubt werden eine Klemm Variante htte ich mir gewnscht. Da bei unserer Treppe auf der einen Seite Gitter sind und kein Rahmen ist mssten wir es mit Kabelbinder befestigen (ja es ist sicher fest). Ansonsten macht das Schutzgitter einen sehr guten Eindruck und sieht auch sehr stabil aus.
Das Gitter ist verstellbar Hhe bis 86 cm und in der Breite bis 150 cm.
Fr 49,99 ist es ein gutes aber nicht perfektes Gitter. Aber sonst sind wir sehr zufrieden das Kind hat es noch nicht aufbekommen.
Platzsparend-praktisch-gu
Wir haben das Schutzgitter wegen unserem Labrador genommen um ihn aus der Kche fernzuhalten.
Angebracht haben wir es an der Verbindungs- Schiebetr zwischen Kche und Esszimmer.
Die Schiebetr wurde bisher selten zugezogen, da der kochende von den anderen Familienmitgliedern und Gsten die sich im Esszimmer aufhielten, ausgeschlossen war.
Die Montage ist einfach, beidseitig werden je zwei Halterungen verbohrt, in der einen Seite wird das Trschutzgitter befestigt und an der anderen Seite das ausgezogenen Netz eingehngt, und dies mit einer Hand. Am Gehuse befindet sich eine Sicherheitseinrichtung, mit deren Arretierung sich der Abrollmechanismus feststellen lsst. Das Netz des Schutzgitters ist sehr robust und stabil und hlt auch einiges aus. Unser 40 Kg Labrador respektiert diese Absperrung und schaut traurig durch das Netz zur Futterquelle. Natrlich ist es auch bei Kleinkinder zu verwenden. Bei Treppen wrde ich das Schutzgitter allerdings nur in Aufgngen anbringen , an den Treppenabgngen wre mir ein robustes Holzgitter sicherer.
Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit dem Wiscky Trschutzgitter.
Gute Alternative zum Klemme
Die hier gelieferte Wiscky Trschutzgitter Treppenschutzgitter Rolle Absperrgitter Hund” wurde mir, kostenlos zum Testen zur Verfgung gestellt. Meine Rezessionen mache ich unbeeinflusst, oft auch kritisch, so dass ich meine Ehrliche Meinung wiedergebe.
Das hier gelieferte Trschutzgitter, wird mit allem geliefert, was man zur Montage braucht. Man sollte aber bedenken, dass man hier kein Klemmgitter bekommt, sondern eines, dass fest an der Wand montiert werden muss. Die Montage ist dann auch nicht in 10 Minuten geschehen und braucht seine Zeit. Wenn den das ganze montiert ist, funktioniert das ganze ganz reibungslos. Und durch die Gre von bis zu 150cm, kann man sehr viele Trbreiten damit abdecken. Allerdings sollte man die Hhe von ca. 84cm beachten. Der Mechanismus funktioniert fast geruschlos schnell und przise, so dass man mit diesem Trschutzgitter, was in Wirklichkeit eher eine Stoffwand von fester Qualitt ist gut bedient ist. Ein weiterer groer Vorteil gegen ber den Klemmversionen ist, dass es im Unteren Bereich keine Stolperfalle gibt. Es gibt mit Sicherheit bessere Lsungen, aber ich bin zufrieden mit dieser.
Fazit:
Eine gute Lsung, wenn man nicht klemmen mchte und gleichzeitig einen Sichtschutz wnscht. Die Montage ist leicht aber mit einem Gewissen Zeitaufwand behaftet. Daher vergebe ich 4Sterne.

Das Wiscky Trschutzgitter Treppenschutzgitter Rolle kam schnell und ordentlich verpackt bei uns an. Schon beim Auspacken bemerkte ich die robuste und stabile Qualitt. Die Halterungen sind aus einem stabilen Metall und macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck. Alles ist perfekt verarbeitet, keine scharfen Ecken oder Kanten. Eine gute Bedienungsanleitung, sowohl smtliches Zubehr fr die Montage sind im Lieferumfang enthalten. Ausgezogen ist das Trschutzgitter aus einen stabilen Kunststoff Netz. Es ist Indoor und Outdoor geeignet. Wir haben das Trgitter auf dem Balkon mit einer Treppe nach unten montiert. Ich bin so begeistert. Einfach an der Wand montiert. Zusammengerollt sieht man das Schutzgitter berhaupt nicht. Einfach ausgezogen und schon hat man einen stabilen Schutz. Das Trgitter ist 83 cm hoch und lsst sich bis auf 150 cm ausziehen. Die hellgraue Farbe passt ideal zu unserer feuerverzinkten Auen Treppe. Ich bin absolut begeistert. Von uns 5/5 Sterne und eine Kaufempfehlung. Wirklich ein tolles Produkt.

It's a much older house on a very busy street with a narrow doorway just above 3 steep stairs which a lot of different types of gates haven't worked in. This is a fantastic gate not only because of the fact that it fits but it a very sleek and modern design in comparison to others. It is a permanent fixture in the sense of screwing this into the wall but the retractable nature of it balances it out in my eyes considering the difficulties in past with others. It's incredibly easy use and it is great for all. No issues from great grandmother down to the little kids. It is a bit costly but we feel that it is worth it for knowing that the dog is safe and unable to rush an opening door to scoot out and possibly get injured or lost as well as for keeping the little kids away from the stairs. Worth it 100%

Works as Described!.. But PRICE DOUBLED!??
I first want to say that I was pleasantly surprised by this product. It actual use, it works quite well and it has more than exceeded my initial expections. But, when I first acquired this product a few weeks ago, the original listing price was set at $69.99 (which seemed very reasonable), but at the time of me writing this, the price has doubled!? It is now starting at $120.68 and above and only from Third Party Sellers? This has really put a damper on my overall opinion of this now, but here is what I think about this outside of the pricing issue…
Installation is not too difficult at all and you should be able to get this done in 30 minutes or less with a little planning ahead. When secured with screws and wall anchors, this feels were sturdy and stable.
It opens easily and after a few tries at it, you pick up a feel for it. You can then pull it open and click it into the brackets on other side of the opening in one motion and with just one hand after practiscing it. Easy! Once you have closed it, you simpy turn the large “locking” knob at the top of the main post to keep it in place without constantly tensioning the mechanism. When unlocked, the screen while glide right back into the rolled position with an easy, effortless, retracting motion. It’s a well designed product.
The screen has a quality look and feel to it. It is more than durable enough for its intended task and should stand up to daily use in my opinion. And, costmetically, it looks quite attractive. The colour is complementarty to several different decor styles. I think it certainly looks better than an old clunky, plastic baby gate. Which brings up how versatile this is… Unlike other gates which often have to be sized specifically to your opening, this retracting gate can adapt from anywhere up to 59″ wide (approx. 5 full ft!). You can set this one up almost anywhere.
When compared with a traditonal Baby or Pet Gate this just has so much of a better look. when fully retracted it really is out of the way. The only room it’s taking up is with the width of the cylinder and that’s it! Unlike a big, rectanguler, semi-solid gate, that has to fold back against a wall or be manually moved out of sight because its such an eyesore, this one will almost blend into your surrondings when retracted. Thats a huge plus!
Overall, I like this. I went in with low expectations and it has more than exceeded them. At the original listing price of $69.99 from the Original Seller, I feel this is very good value. I do NOT feel that this item is worth the current $120+ from Third Party Sellers. I assume this is just a temporary sitatution with the original selller being out of inventory? Hopefully this will change in the near future. At $69.99, I can easily recommend this and I would give it a solid 4 out of 5…but at $120+ I can only rate this at 3.
