Really pleased with the design and proportions of this fridge, which I bought as a back up for my kitchen fridge/freezer. It is suitable to use in a shed or garage. It was the best I could buy for the money I had available. It came with a 50 voucher for Virgin wines as a thank you for buying it. I was really thrilled to have this bonus but sadly lost it, still looking for it. I would have liked a automatic defrosting fridge but would have had to pay a lot more for one of these. Very happy with purchase.

I was looking for a freezer to fit under counter with space around to let the air flow round,very happy with this russell hobbs, from ordering to delivery was 1st class,so over all very pleased.

The freezer has a nice finish. The three drawers do not hold a large amount of frozen products and it is a little noisy. Overall though, yes, I would buy again and recommend.

The company who supplied the freezer rang to arrange a delivery slot. The driver who delivered was very pleasant and helpful and contact less. The freezer has 3 deep see through drawers and is very neat and compact. It comes with a little metal key that is used to adjust the temperature setting from 1-4.

A good quality feel to it, nice and simple operation;- plug it in, set the temperature, wait for it to get frosty, and use it!! No stupid electronic connectivity (that’s just extra expense, hassle, and more to go wrong and/or cause irritating interruptions in one’s life while getting on with it).
I’ve had it up and running for a couple of months or more since I got it and put my trusty old fridge/freezer thermometer in the front of the middle drawer and it has displayed 20degC (which is what I set it at, I set the pointer to indicate 2-and-a-half on the dial which ranges from 1 to 4, my freezer arrived delivered already pre-positioned at 2 which is probably standard for testing at manufacture production quality control and likely is adequate for the usual 18 deg C freezer temperature) every time I open the door to access the contents.
After unpacking and before switching on,I changed the door opening direction to suit where the freezer was to be put in my house so the door hinges on the left instead of the right hand side, and there were adequate instructions how to do so, only needing a screwdriver and a small spanner. I also did a bit of minor adjusting of the feet to suit the slight floor unevenness, again simple to do.
Comes with fairly clear instruction, a small ice cube tray, a temp. dial key, and a plastic scraper tool thing for aiding defrosting (which I can’t comment about since I’ve not defrosted it yet). n.b. it’s a manual defrost not automatic.
The only niggles I have are
(a) the little plastic key for setting the temperature dial which is small, shaped at one end to fit a small slot in the dial (like a coin, I’d say a 2 pence piece size). While it makes it hard to inadvertently adjust the dial setting, which I guess won’t usually need adjusting very often in most cases, it’s the sort of thing that’ll get easily mislaid/lost in the passage of time, though if lost/mislaid a coin would easily suffice in its place.
(b) the drawer handle “indentations”/moulding makes for nice large oversize drawer handles even for my own large hands but could easily be half the size they are which would make more storage space inside the drawer and a bit better useable volume for fitting boxes/cartons/containers, especially since the indents for the handles are at the bottom of the drawers. But I suspect you’ll feel I’m being somewhat over-analytical about such small issues.
Despite all that, it is as I titled this review, it’s generally nice and simple.

I ordered the Russell Hobbs under counter black freezer which looks really good in my kitchen it arrived last week, I was so excited I went freezer shopping to fill it up. I did have a big chest freezer but now that the children have left home I decided to downsize and am very pleased with my purchase.
The delivery guys were so friendly and helpful even took away the cardboard and plastic wrapping.

In the inside, it is very spacious and you can put a lot of stuff in the three drawers. I can finally go to Iceland and buy enough stuff for more than a day of eating as I have a small fridge with only one rack of a freezer on top.
I really recommend this for its quality, its design, its silent way of working and also it’s A+ so it is a very efficient energy wise.

That said this Russell Hobbs looks good and seems to be built up to a good standard. I do not know if like the Servis it will last 20 years but so far its been very good, but only been using it for a few days. For modern units its seems ok and fair value for money. works as required pity it was delivered with a 1 inch dent on the front door ,was also delivered by a female driver with no barrow for transporting and i had to help deliver into my house and i am registered as disabled with arthritis in cervical and lumber region of the spineand have a 50mm annurism of the AORTA,NOT BLOODY GOOD ENOUGH !!!

My only criticism is the Carrier didn’t have a trolley, so he had to carry it along a corridor to the lift to my flat. I unpacked it & found a small dent on one side, but doesn’t show when it’s in place.
I purchased this from Amazon Warehouse and I’m very happy with the purchase. It still comes under warranty and is in good condition. It is slightly smaller than the standard under counter freezer but has a decent amount of freezer space and is perfect for what I need it for. Only one improvement required I would say is the handle where you grab the door to open – the space between the top of the freezer and the gap is very small (even for my small hands) – so I have been using the tips of my fingers to pull the freezer open.

It is slightly smaller than the standard under counter freezer but has a decent amount of freezer space and is perfect for what I need it for. Only one improvement required I would say is the handle where you grab the door to open – the space between the top of the freezer and the gap is very small (even for my small hands) – so I have been using the tips of my fingers to pull the freezer open.

Only had freezer for 24 hours but so far works great, also surprised how many things you can get into the freezer very pleased, has a small dent on left back side. But doesn’t seem to bother i

Excellent service. Followed the instructions before simply plugging in. Set the thermostat… it’s a little gem…so quiet: we’re really chuffed with this adddition in the kitchen. Exactly as pictured…. recommended.

Good Freezer, replaced a 28 year old Whirlpool that went to the electronic graveyard (Planned Obsolescence !), it is nice to have drawers instead of just compartments / shelves as it mkes it easier to get things out without having to remove loads of other things first.

Great little freezer. I have a chest freezer in a shed outside and use this one inside so I don’t have to traipse out in the cold. Works well and is quiet. Hopefully it’ll last as long as my other freezer which we’ve had for over a decade!
