The R18N16G-0 features AirStrike Technology providing cordless convenience, eliminating the need for a noisy compressor, bulky air hose or expensive gas cartridges. The R18N16G-0 is a finishing nailer, it accommodates 16G (1.6mm) nails between 19 and 65mm long. Ich habe mir die Nagelpistole gekauft um damit zunchst bei einer Bodensanierung die Sockelleisten zu montieren. Noch nie ging das so schnell, sauber und Problemfrei.
Das ergebnis ist Einwandfrei, man braucht zwar ein paar Schuss, bis man die passende Einstellung gefunden hat, damit die Ngel nicht zu tief versenkt werden, aber dann, perfekt.
Die Kraft ist mehr als ausreichend um die Ngel auch massive Wnde zu schieen.
Natrlich ersetzt die Pistole in den meisten Fllen den normalen Hammer, zumindest wenn die Ngelgre ausreichend ist.
Durch die 3-fach Abzugssicherung ist ein versehentliches auslsen (sofern man sich nicht im dauermodus befindet) so gut wie ausgeschlossen.
Wer schon Ryobi der One+ Serie zuhause hat eine Nagelpistole braucht, ist die hier ein klarer Tip. Zumahl auch viele Pressluftnagler keine greren Ngel knnen, man aber immer den Luftschlauch hat und an einen Kompressor gebunden ist.

Pleasantly Surprised
I wasn’t expecting to much when ordering this however I was pleasantly surprised. On first use this has exceeded my expectations. It drives home the nails well and the depth can be adjusted. I installed 200m of skirting with this and with ease, very easy to handle and change nails. I will be giving this another run out soo

Iv just bought this tool for nailing beading for laminate flooring and it is spot on.I have used it on several jobs now and it’s so quick and easy to use.
Saved me a fortune compared to bigger brands.
Iv only had it for a month but use it every day and so far no problems.only time will tell I suppose but I have registered for the warranty.
Franchement, en train de faire une maison complte, j’aurai d l’acheter avant…..je conseille tous les bricoleurs. Mme si effectivement la cloueuse est un peu lourde avec une batterie 18v, le gain de temps vous fait vite oublier ce petit dsagrment…

Used for nailing edge trims over laminate flooring….no more hammering. I have a few Ryobi 1 tools, they are really worth the money. Just be sure to keep out the way of kids, this nailer can be lethal. There are others out there at 4 times the price but for hobby use this is good. The nails are more like thin strands of wire but go in with quite a force. I use 5Ah batteries as the smaller capacity ones are no use if the job will involve a lot of nailing or drilling or whatever tool you are using. Great price on Amazon too.

I used my Ryobi Airstrike for the first time in anger this weekend making up some laminate wood beams for a new floor in a shed/utility area of the garden using old wood from a pallet. I needed many brads to secure the strips and all I can say is the speed compared with my compressed air nailer is very similar. I was using a 1.4AH battery so the whole unit is very light and I managed to get through several strips of brads with no sign of any power/battery charge issue.

Brilliant never look back
Always wanted this nail gun for work but couldn’t afford it at first so bought a cheeper version which broke before first job completed got a replacement lasted 12months, finally got this Ryobi and wished I just got it from the start it’s fantastic, powerful and long lasting battery 5.0Ah

This product nails like nothing else I’ve experienced. I thought nailing MIA through the front seats of a Cherokee with her chain hitting her chest while banging on the dash was good, but this is something else! Live fast, die young. Ryobi do it well

Per chi ha la necessit di applicare una quantit importante di chiodi, la pistola sparachiodi di Ryobi senza dubbio uno dei migliori utensili in commercio.
L’aspetto positivo principale che la sparachiodi alimentata a batteria 18V il che consente una facilit di utilizzo rispetto ad altre pistole ad aria compressa. Dotata di led che illuminano molto bene l’area in cui si intende applicare i chiodi (senza testa), dotata del regolatore di intensit di pressione oltre a quello della lunghezza dei chiodi.
Aspetto negativo: non consente l’utilizzo delle graffette e molto spesso si blocca quando si giunge alla fine della striscia di chiodi
Don’t bother with the belt clip as it won’t sit stood without a batter with that on.
What a tool! Makes pinning and nailing so much quicker, especially when your trying to hold everything together. I think I’ll be looking for a angled frame gun when they come to the UK

Reliable
Used on a number of DIY projects. Worked reliably with no issues.
Over the years I have collected a variety of tools to do various jobs and appreciate that a tool is only amazing if you have a need for it. A while back I took the plunge to stick with One+ from Ryobi and have built the collection around this system. I’m not going to write a long specification review as you can read that when comparing gun to gun, but I can tell you it does exactly what you need it to do, effectively, quickly and cleanly. The 2mm head 18g nails sit just below the surface off the wood on the pressure/depth I have set and are already difficult to see given the grain and pattern of the wood. I have used this to install the batten and now the larch on our film + wine room (parents name for it) in the garden. I have been incredibly impressed with the grip strength of the nails, on a rare ocassion when I’ve made a mistake, removing them is impossible and they have to be cut off instead. A picture is attached, not close up I know, but hopefully gives a rough impression.

Fantastic addition to ryobi set, made putting wall cladding up a breeze
Had a look at other nailers (could not get the Bosch) so opted for the Ryobi have used it three times so far without any problems and this being on pretty tough jobs have used three different lengths of nails on the jobs done one being the longest nail you can use never had a problem I use the 5ah battery with this model.

GREAT PIECE OF KIT. FIRES 50MM 18 GAUGE BRADS INTO HARDWOOD WITH NO PROBLEM. NOT EVEN TURNED UPTO FULL POWER AND IT CAN BURY THE HEADS INTO OAK. PLUS NO CABLES OR AIRLINES TO WORRY ABOUT.
Really impressive tool but I have one complaint. Why doesn’t this have a trigger lock? A friend of mine has an 25 German supermarket drill. That has a trigger lock. My Ryobi drill has a trigger lock. Worried it might go off while being transported so as there isn’t a lock, I always remove the battery. Not a huge issue, but it does irritate me. Good enough for a five star review. Recommended

As a hobbyist, I’ve spent much time (and money) on nail/brad guns – mainly due to the gas ones being too expensive when not using it as a trade.
For my tasks in recycling pallets, this is just the ticket.
It fires fast, I’m yet to have it jam and it is virtually recoil-less.
I have various Ryobi One+ tools (Combi-drill, Screwdriver, Circular Saw; even the fan!) and the quality remains throughout.
The batteries I use are non-OEM 1,4 & 5 amp and all work (thought the 5 amp might make it a bit heavy. It doesn’t).
When the price dropped, I just had to snap it up.
I have no regrets in doing so.

L’ho acquistata per sostituire la pistola Parkside che ha l’interruttore di abilitazione molto duro e non sempre funziona ed inoltre lascia segni sul legno.
La Ryobi un p cara, ma tutta un’altra cosa, precisa e potente, ha inserito un chiodo di 50mm in un morale di abete da 90mm senza problemi, la uso di frequente e ne sono soddisfatto.

Great piece of kit. No cartridges, hasn’t jammed on me (and seems easy to sort if it does) and rammed countless nails through American white oak for skirting and facing through the hole of the downstairs of my house.
Some of the nails didn’t sink in completely and I had to finish with a punch. I think it was due to me not putting enough pressure on the gun into the wood, as most sank absolutely fine and only those where I didn’t push firmly against the surface had a problem. I don’t know how other guns compare in this regard, however, so I’ve knocked a star off purely for that – I might be wrong and it’s all on me. Easily avoided though – push firmly to surface.

For me as a DIYer – its a Toy but a goof fun one.
I have used mine to pin hard board panels to wooden frames and similar nailing work.
Shall use it soon to tack the panels for my shed.
Works well, I have a large range of Rybio ONE tools, from impack drills to lawn mowers prob over 20.
The quality is always good in manufacture and design and are quite heavy duty.
Don’t often do reviews but this bit of kit deserves 5stars – does what it’s says! Easy and safe to use and does job well and is fairly quite! No need for a compressor and hoses! I’m a big fan of the one+ series and this is just as brilliant as the rest of the Ryobi tools!

Preis Leistung Top, hier kann man ruhigen Gewissens zuschlagen. Nach grndlicher Recherche und Produktvergleichen ist das genau das Teil was ich brauchte, um whrend Verleimungen eine gewisse (und berraschend starke) Vorfixierung zu ermglichen. Kein Thema, das Teil so einzustellen, dass die Stiftkpfe entweder leicht rausschauen, bndig sind, oder eben etwas versenkt werden beim reinballern.
Tipp fr Munition: Englisch suchen nach “Brad Nails”, Strkenangabe in “18 Gauge” beachten; man muss keine teuren Marken kaufen, um perfekte Ergebnisse zu haben.
Das ist schon ein mchtiges Gert.
Also immer wieder, Ryobi macht Spitzenprodukte.
Im ersten Moment erscheint einem der Preis sehr hoch. Hat man sie aber in der Hand, hat man was echt professionelles.
Die Maschiene knallt die 50er Ngel ins Holz, dass man selbst schon Angst bekommt.
Ryobi ist zwar eigentlich sehr teuer, aber es ist einfach wirklich Qualitt.
Ich rste gerade um, auch die Akkulaufzeiten sind unberbietbar.
The usual Ryobi wondertool ! It is a lot bigger than I expected but boy does it do the job……65mm (2.5″) x 1.5mm brad ..wham into hardwood no trouble, and all you need is the Ryobi battery and charger of which I now have plenty. I have a Paslode gas stapler which is professional fencing kit at over 500 and this is better!

This is a really excellent nailer. In a completely different class to the cheaper cordless models. A tad heavy with the 4.0Ah battery, but the weight is actually an advantage in holding the nailer steady when it fires

Habe bereits mehr als 5000 Stauchngel mit diesem Gert verarbeitet und muss sagen, dass ich sehr zufrieden bin! Funktioniert wirklich Gut!

Quand j’ai effectu ma commande, j’ai regard deux fois avant de la commander, vu son prix qui n’est quand mme pas donn, d’autant plus qu’il vous faudra acheter en plus une batterie performante (4ah c’est bien) + 1 chargeur qui ne sont pas inclus.
Ce qui vous amne un prix final de prs de 350 euros, sauf si vous possdez dj un autre appareil Ryobi sans fil, car la batterie est compatible avec toutes les machines sans fil de la marque, ce qui n’tait pas mon cas.
La notice est succincte, mais bon, on en comprend vite le fonctionnement.
Et l c’est le bonheur, fini le temps pass planter les clous coups de marteau, fini les doigts crass, et vive la rapidit !
Les clous plantent comme dans du beurre, c’est prcis, sans effort et le rsultat est propre.
A noter que deux leds viennent clairer votre travail, ce qui est trs pratique.
Je me sers de cette cloueuse pour fixer les lambris, les plinthes, l’abri de jardin, rparer un meuble.
L’avantage est qu’il n’y a pas le risque d’endommager la surface du bois en tapant trop fort ou ct du clou, a me simplifie vraiment la vie !
Je reviendrai ici pour donner un second avis avec un peu de recul dans le temps, histoire de voir si elle supporte les longues journes de travail.
Vraiment pas du de mon achat du tout !
Don't be put off by brand as not just a diy tool
First nailgun I have owned and not a brand I would normal go for but checking lots of YouTube vids for test this plus the 16 gauge came out on top and not just on price. So far very happy and surprised how much I have used it.
Really cool and handy bit of kit.. with its built in compressor it works a treat.
This is so much easier than dragging round airlines and very well built. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY COLOUR.. once you buy into the RYOBI range.. you will find the kit actually quite good. Service is brilliant if you have an issue and your never going to loose your tools again!!

Je voulais un cloueur puissant, mais abordable, a s’est fait.
pour moi il est peut lourd en main, mais comme c’est du travail occasionnel a devrait aller,
je ne l’ai pas encore essay.
Den Ersten Nagler musst ich leider zurckschicken weil er defekt war, aber 2 Tage spter kam das Ersatzgert und der funktioniert einwandfrei.
Das Magazin lsst sich sehr einfach nachfllen. Das Gert macht einen soliden stabilen wie von Ryobi gewohnten Gesamteindruck.
Der Nagler ist berraschend gro, was aber nicht weiter strt.
Getestet habe ich ihn mit 50 mm Ngel in Massivholz Fichte, Spanplatte 38mm, 20 mm Holz auf Ziegelwand. Die Ngel gingen berall perfekt rein.
Einzig in der Spanplatte musste ich den letzten mm per Hand einschlagen.

As always with Ryobi it’s an excellent bit of kit. I’d been after a nail gun for a while, after seeing reviews on a certain tube site, I went ahead and purchased the Airstrike & it’s brilliant. Took me a few go’s for me to get it dialled in to the job at hand but once there it’s fantastic. No more dragging air hoses and cables for me 🙂
Having perches my new nail gun I’m very pleased to say that I’m very happy with it as it does exactly what I needed it for.well balance and pack with plenty of power for driving nail deep in as well…great bit of kit.
Me encanta esta clavadora , la he dado bastante uso este fin de semata (tres tiras de clavos) y a ido de maravilla , sin ningn fallo , la duracin de la bateria muy buena , solo la mitad de su capacidad.
Puedes clavar , bastante rapido , no hay que esperar entre clavo y clavo.
La recomiendo , muy manejable y fiable.
Buena seguridad , cuando le quedan tres clavos en la cmara se desactiva por seguridad , se recarga y todo a la perfeccin.
Lo nico en contra que le veo es el pulsador de la luz , ya que siempre la activas aunque no quieras. pero es un mal menor.

I bought this in the USA, much cheaper (nearly half price). It is absolutely brilliant. I bought it to put up some feather edge fencing. I must have nailed over 200 individual strips, 6-8 nails per slat. And not a single failure. Ive used electric nailers and in general they are useless (sent a tacwise one back as it just had no punch). This is close to the performance of gas cartridge nailers or compressor nailers without having cables, airlines etc. It also has never under-driven. Heads have always been sunk properly. I was so impressed i also bought the 18 gauge one to put up architrave. Also brilliant. The comment in another review about this is that it is rubbish and poorly made. That is not at all my experience of Ryobi tools. This nailer converted me. I always bought Makita before this, but i have subsequently bought a load of Ryobi tools (for example their impact drivers are also really great).

mucho mas caras, clava perfectamente y con suavidad los clavos, muy buena ergonoma, se nota una maquina profesional en las manos,
gran libertad de movimiento, se lo recomiendo a todo interesado, enhorabuena RYOBi
Moi je suis lectricien, je m’en sert pour fixer les moulures, elle est au top. Rglage de la frappe ( faible pour moi sinon le clou passe travers ), maniable, bonne autonomie, assez de pche pour clouer des morceaux de chne de 30mm d’paisseur, une vrai lectropneumatique.
Le bec fin se loge partout, c’est du bonheur.
L’accroche ceinture est bien pratique
Seul petit bmol, l’emplacement du bouton qui allume les led, impossible de prendre la machine sans les allumer.
Sinon, rien redire, j’en suis, moi perso, trs content
Ah si, une p’tite malette de transport aurait t bien pratique!

I am a hobbyist woodworker and use better than DIY but less than trade standard power tools, Ryobi tools generally fall into that category. This tool is extremely expensive in the UK so I took a punt and purchased it from Amazon USA, the whole process was extraordinarily quick and easy and I saved few quid too!
The nailer itself is a little weighty but highly portable and relatively easy to manipulate with no pressure line or cords getting in the way, it takes a little practice to get used to the settings in different materials but the knack comes quickly. There’s a fair old kick when fired,my dog runs off when it’s in use. I haven’t experienced one jam yet even when I set it on rapid fire, it may be that I’ve been lucky or the quality of the nails I am using helps. The quick release for clearing jams is a little stiff and I operated it a few times, fettled it a fair bit and now it’s a little less fierce.
Being at the value end of the market this product is well made, easy and simple to use and I recommend it for all the DIYers or hobby woodworkers thicnking of buying one.
La verdad es que an no le he dado mucho uso. El acabado del producto es muy bueno y clava clavos de 50 mm en aglomerado sin problema. Eso si… es un equipo un tanto pesado.

Ca’t fault this product, does exactly what it says on the box.
Don’t generally do reviews but most for this product are a load of bull and felt the need to as this brad / pin gun is as good as the senco equivalent but half the price well impressed nicely weighted, well made feels robust , joiner by trade and been using it for the last month without a problem firing pin leaves minimal damage on surface of timber and fires 40mm pins into oak no probs
This nailer can be bought much more cheaply if you shop around even direct from the US is cheaper.
In terms of functionality it works really well, it hasn’t jammed that often when I’ve used it as stated by other reviewers, it may be the quality of nails I’m currently using is better? When it does jam its a simple operation with a clip at the front, it is a little stiff and it took a a bit of fettling to loosen it up.
The features are easy to use and once set it nails repeatedly without complaint, I’ve used it on both hardwoods and softwoods and I haven’t had an issue, I use it a least twice a week as I’m a hobbyist woodworker, I couldn’t comment on its suitability for trade use. For people like me it’s a sturdy and robust little unit at a good price if you shop around.

I HAVE JUST BOUGHT ONE OF THESE NAILERS FROM A UK SELLER FOR 121 DELIVERED,AMAZONS PRICE IS WAY OVER PRICED,THE NAILER IS VERY EASY TO OPERATE IVE ONLY TRIED IT WITH A FEW NAILS AND HAS LOTS OF POWER DRIVES 2 INCH NAILS NO PROBLEM,QUITE HEAVY COMPARED TO MY DEWALT AS THE DEWALT IS A LOT BIGGER BUT NOT MUCH HEAVIER,DONT KNOW HOW LONG IT WILL LAST BEFORE I NEED TO USE THE WARRENTY,BUT SEEMS TO WORK GREAT
I bought this a few months ago from Home Depot while in the US. It cost me $133 including taxes, much cheaper than Amazon’s 211.
I’ve used it a number of times and I must say I was impressed with the product. It’s a lot lighter than the Dewalt brad gun. The depth & power adjustments work well. It will fire 50mm / 2″ 18 gauge brads into softwood no problem.
The only problem I have with the tool is that it does jam a lot. Over all it’s good value for money and the fact it’s part of the Ryobi One+ system is a huge bonus as I have a number of other One+ tools.
Really really good machine. Actually picked this one over the Red (The red brand). Angled could be a facelift in the future, but its ok for most jobs. I keep it stored indoors and I picked this one over the 18G since 16G for higher "holding power" and its by no means a "large" hole it create. Fill it up with mud or something.
