    Good value for the money
You must physically stir the contents during cooking. I bought this to replace my old Tefal original which had a rotating paddle feature to give all round cooking. This model, which is half the price need the chef to stir the food. That apart it’s up for the job.

Make chip's as there supposed to be and crispy too
Food has more flavour and looks so much better than oven cooked foods, if you don’t have an air fryer then get one today. And this one is so simple to use.

    Good purchase
Sick of the taste of ‘oven ready’ food and the high fat content so thought I’d try this out.

Love it, homemade chips with pretty much zero fat, roasted veg, fish etc etc

    Great and so easy tonise

Love it. I only wish I'd bought the bigger one.
I love this airfryer. However, I wish I’d bought the bigger one. I was trying to save counter space and it is a great size, if you just want chips. But if you want to do anything more get the bigger one.

Initially I wasn’t that impressed to be honest. It wasn’t what I was expecting and the cooking area seemed like it was small. When I started using it though that all changed. It really holds a lot and you can stack the food so if you have a lot of fish fingers you can cross cross them over. The quick cook button is easy and you don’t need as high temp as you would if suing the oven and there’s no real warm up time so cooking takes far less time and uses less electrics. It’s real easy to clean the grid comes out and usually just wiped clean along with the bottom but somethings you’ll need to wash it properly. I’ve done the usual fish fingers and chips etc in it but I’ve also cooked chicken breasts, Yorkshire puddings and waffles and it’s great. Would definitely recommend

Love this to bits, great at quick no nonsense cooking. I cook chips mostly, and put in a sausage, or fish or even lamb steaklets. It cooks them all. I don’t bother with the presets on top, I just press cook and every 5 minutes give it a shake to turn the chips and turn anything else its cooking at the time with some tongs. Usually ready in 15 minutes!

    Ease of use
Having watched a number of You Tube videos on air fryer recipes, I felt this was the correct purchase for us. This machine suits families as food can be cooked for up to four persons easily in a number of minutes. Please with the variety of foods one can cook in it.

Not our first Air fryer, this one is noisier and twice the price. We paid for a better name but only time will tell if it’s a good buy.

So quick and easy to use.
I bought this thinking it wold make my oven chips taste like fried chips but it didn’t. However, they do cook in half the time and end up more crispy. It’s a good size for 2 people at a time. I’ve even tried a roast beef joint in it and that came out well. Cooks sausage and chips in 15 minutes – perfect for when you’re short on time or really hungry! And cooks the crispiest bacon – although thicker cuts are better. Shrinks steraky bacon to half the size but does make it super crispy.

Very good but has poor design choices
I got this a month ago to replace a conventional 5L Industrial style deep fryer I had been using for years as i was looking for a healthier option, since this was my first ever Air Fryer there is a learning curve when it comes to temps and times but after a few days I was getting perfect chips and the usual frozen foods, it is even great for things like sausages / burgers /steaks / chicken and they all come out super juicy, and as per instructions you can even combine foods like cooking frozen chips for a little then putting some sausages on top and cooking both for longer.

This leads me to the massive issue with it, the instructions say that all I cooked can be used but to avoid foods that produce excessive fat during cooking?, all meat products produce waste fat even processed ones, that’s fine and a good thing but the problem comes at the end of cooking and the cleaning phase, the basket has vent slits on every side going down into the fat collection area and there is only 10mm from the bottom to the first vent slit, this means if you cooks sausages or chicken or steak you are going to have a layer of waste fat that can easily poor out the vent slit should you hold the basket other than level leading to a messy clean up.

Next is the fact that there is no way to drain the waste fats without making a mess, usually i would put the fat in a bottle and dispose of it as down the sink is a bad idea, you would think there would be a channel to pour the fat but no and if you simply try to poor out the fat it comes out every vent slit and onto the counter top, the solution is to let it cool and you can then scoop out the fat later but this is no good if you want to use it a few times in a row.

Over all it is a decent device and it has been a good introduction to Air Fryers and i will continue to use but if I buy another I will look for one with a better designed basket.

I have had it a month It’s much bigger than my last one and easily does 4 portions of chips probably even 6 if I needed it to .
Il update this if there’s anything else to say over the next 6 months . But so far everyone is very happy with it and I never add oil .

    It’s revolutionised our eating!
After early teething problems with cooking times etc, once we had worked out how we liked it to cook, the Tefal is almost in daily use. The little tray in the bottom keeps the food away from any excess oil and fat produced- well done

    Sceptic now convinced!
    A Review from Mrs L:

Having not been impressed with the idea of an air fryer, I am now delighted to have one. I had a bad experience with a halogen cooker before which churned the food and produced very unappetising chips and ended up being moved to the garage. I assumed an air fryer would be the same idea. But this is really handy for quickly cooking something like potato wedges without having to wait for the oven to heat up. The only sad thing is it doesn’t do enough chips for our whole family (capacity is 800g of frozen stuff) but it’s fine if only the kids want chips, or to do a few wedges each on the side. It was also perfect for quickly heating mince pies without them going soggy as they do in the microwave!

It’s very easy to clean (just a rinse does the job).

My main grievance is that the instruction manual is all in pictures, so I’m finding it very hard to work out what it is trying to tell me. It ends up being a bit hit and miss and make it up as you go along. So I haven’t tried more adventurous foods in it yet, but hope to do that when I feel like taking that risk. There are pictures of the different things you can cook in it, so at least that’s a start. And there is a QR code to a recipe booklet, so that will definitely help.

    Very useful kitchen appliance
This air fryer arrived well packaged and fully assembled and ready to go. It includes a very basic set of instructions and a removable grate for grilling or cooking fatty foods.

It is very easy to use. There are some presets or you can select the required temperature and time and touch the start button. It is all controlled via the touch panel. You can change time or temperature as required without restarting the programme and removing the basket will pause the cooking. I do not think that the tray is dishwasher safe but the non-stick coating is very easy to clean.

I really like the results from this device. With very little or no oil or fat you can cook pretty much anything that you would grill, bake or fry in a shorter time than if you had used the oven. I have cooked belly pork, chips, sweet potato fries, cakes, bread rolls, party snacks, onion bhajis, baked oats and much more. Fruit can be dehydrated to make healthy snacks. It really is a very versatile and powerful appliance which has pretty much rendered my oven redundant unless I have guests. There are loads of recipes on social media sites for ideas and I am having fun playing with new foods and recipes.

On the down side it is quite noisy. The instructions are also very basic and I was disappointed that there is no physical cookery book for this price. The included instructions are a bit confusing too and recommend setting the device to 40 degrees to dehydrate fruits. It took me a while to discover that this model will not go to 40 degrees and that these instructions cover a different model of fryer. The only other thing that I find a bit disappointing is that you can not tell what the temperature of the basket is or when it has pre-heated. I am sure it doesn’t take long to heat up but some sort of notification that it was hot would have been nice. Some consideration should also be given to storing the unit – it is quite tall and does not come apart so for the very rare times when you are not using it then you might like to measure up for cupboard space.

So overall I am giving this device 5 stars despite the points above. It is a very powerful and flexible kitchen appliance which will cook a huge variety of meals in a relatively short time and due to its compact size will also use less electricity than a large oven.

Good quality, cooks food evenly, and easy to clean!
The Tefal EasyFry arrived safely, and it comes well packaged inside a nicely illustrated and premium looking retail box.

The first thing I liked when I took it out of the box was the quality of it. It’s a nice-looking unit, its well put together using good quality materials and with a bit of care it should be durable enough to last for quite a while.

Once you switch it on the front panel lights up and its nicely laid out with easy-to-understand buttons. You can either choose one of the pre-set programs or manually enter your own temperature and time, and then choose whether to use the air fry or grill. My mum worked it out straight away, so I know Tefal have done a good job making it simple and easy to operate. It’s a bit noisy when operating but I guess this is the nature of air fryers.

The pre-selected programs work well for the most part, but I find it easier to manually set it up myself as portion sizes can vary a lot, so it takes a bit of work to get used to. I normally take on average about 20% off the cooking time and reduce the heat a bit according to the label as this air fryer cooks things a lot faster than a traditional oven which is also good for my electricity bill!

The way it cooks the food is amazing as everything comes out piping hot and very evenly cooked. If you enjoy food like pasties, they come out in one piece rather than being all squishy and oozing, pies come out with the most delicate and perfectly cooked pastry, fish cooks so succulently and I love the way it cooks the batter, and bacon doesn’t shrivel up or go hard in places.

It’s the ideal size for two people but I struggle to see how it can feed much more than that at the same time. Me and my partner don’t each much and its just big enough for our meals, my parents on the other hand each a lot more than we do and they said they like it, but its far too small for them. Its really down to how much you each I suppose.

Overall, I’m a big fan of these new air fryers and I do feel it’s the next big thing for home cooking for a lot of people. This EasyFry from Tefal is an excellent bit of kit and I feel it represents pretty good value for money as you will save a bit of money over time if you use this in place of your normal oven. It’s a product I’m very happy to recommend and I feel its easily worth the full five stars, buy with confidence!

The Second Air Fryer I Have Had... and still VERY GOOD!
Tefal is a brand I trust and expect a certain level of quality. For this reason, I expect to pay a bit more than some of the cheaper brands, but am never disappointed with the quality.

The first Air Fryer I bought is about 5 or 6 years old now, and although it still works ahd a very polished surface and looks very tired, and is almost impossible to clean fully inside.

I was excited to try this NEW Tefal Easyfry, and from a design perspective alone, it looks like a BIG upgrade on my last one. The previous model had 2 settings, HEAT and TIME whereas this one has all manner of presets built in depending on what you are cooking.

It looks very stylish, and is perfect for quickly heading up quick meals, like Nuggets, Drummers etc etc. I use my previous one many times over the week, and see it is a vital addition to my Kitchen, for quick oven bakes, instead of having to heat an entire oven for 1 just small meal.

It also makes the most amazing Cheese on Toast 🙂 Brilliant.

    Love it!
I absolutely love this AirFryer from Tefal.

This is a lovely well design appliance and in fact does not take up too much space. Super easy to use, just pop your food in and set the timer and off you go.
Make sure to roll your food in a bit of olive oil – or any other oil of your preference and pop it on the grill.

I must admit that I was dubious about getting one of these but I couldn’t live without my Tefal EasyFry now.
Being Vegan, I love tofu and always struggled to get it to be crispy in an oven or by frying on a pan.
EasyFry makes my tofu super delicious and crispy in just 20mins. You don’t need tons of oil and greasy meals to have your food fried. This is what I love about it – the food you eat isn’t greasy but it has been fried.

Excellent design, sleek looking this airfryer is super easy to clean – just take the grill and drawer out – was it and pop back in.

I’ve been recommending EasyFry to all of my friends and I can’t stop praising how wonderful and affordable this item is.
If you love fried food but want to keep it healthy this is the appliance you won’t regret buying.

Good air fryer if not loud
I have so far used this to cook sausages, gammon, chips and chicken nuggets. It has worked well for all of these items and is fairly easy to use. As the unit I own is the one with the dial it can be hard to make sure you have the correct time and temperature so if given the choice I would get the unit with the digital display. The first time I comes chips I believe I had too much in the pan as they did not cook evenly even with me stopping to shake the pan multiple times.
I have also noticed that the machine is rather loud when I use so if you have a kitchen/living room this is sometime to keep in mind.

    Air fryer 🤩🥦🌽🥔🍗🍖🍤🤤
This fryer is awesome , I didn’t use a fryer before, this machine is a must have for every kitchen, it’s very easy to use , you just need to choose the time and temperature depending what kind of food you want to prepare, if you don’t know, just google it, there are a lot information when I tried it for the first time, I was worried and I read carefully all the instructions ( the instructions are translated in different languages ) my chicken it was prepared at 200C – 60min like it says on top of the fryer, I only after first 30min turned the chicken upside down to give it the same colour and also to cook it properly, the taste is awesome I can’t explain you how happy I am . How you see in video there is a small gap between the construction but this is just aesthetically, it doesn’t affect the fryer work, delivery was fast and well packed. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to eat a healthy cooked food

    I'm converted!
I never understood what the hype was all about with airfryers. We had one years ago and hardly ever used it.
But they’ve obviously come along way since then.
I love using this one. I thought I’d give them one last shot seeing as others loved this. I’m glad I did. I use it more than I use anything else in my kitchen now, except maybe the kettle. But it’s definitely my preferred method of cooking.
It’s really easy to use and so much more healthy than deep frying. Quicker than oven.
    Super easy to clean.
A little expensive, yes. But honestly I use it so much that it would have been worth it.

    Love i
We call this our steak and chips machine as this is what we have used it for most. The chips cook very well, no greasiness at all due to the low amount of oil we have used (ie virtually none). The stek in the grill section is super well cooked, lovely and juicy with the grill marks. We do keep saying we’ll grill vegetables but everytime we get it out someone makes chips, which somehow just seem healthier (which they are!). Even my son has used it (getting him to make tea is usually impossible).

Very easy to us and super simple to clean. Looks great on the worktop too.

    Highly recommended.

    All round great air frye
This air fryer is all around very nice and easy to use. It can help you get healthy but obviously depending on what you put inside of it, as you don’t need to cook with oil. It cooks pretty much anything that fits inside and you can still choose to cook with oil (around a tablespoon) if you want something to be more crispy such as fries. It has a grill platten inside that you can use to grill things as well which means you can cook steaks in it! It’s easy to operate and interface with and has a cooking guide printed on the top of it. You can get nice grill marks with the included grill platten which I find really cool. Overall, a super versatile air fryer allows you to cook, bake and grill anything you wish. Washing after every cook cycle allows the next food to be cooked properly without it being contaminated, so make sure you clean it often.

    Couldn’t be without it now!
First impressions were great, it came in a big branded box and looked very impressive. There’s no assembly required, I just read through the short and sweet instructions, washed a couple of parts then when dried plugged it in and it was good to go!

Using the unit is very easy, just switch the power on, select the temperature you want and set the timer. When the timer is active and ticking the frier starts up. The first thing I noticed is the fan is quite loud, and there was an odd metallic smell. However it turns out the smell was just because the machine was new and it went after the first few uses.

There are 2 lights on the front which illuminate during use, a green light to show you are operational and a red light to indicate it is warming up to the desired temperature. It does take a few minutes to reach it’s set temperature, so I have to admit I’m a bit impatient and just put the food in pretty much straight away.

I’ve tested it with a few different types of food and can confirm the results are always the great. The food is always nice and browned on the outside, throughly cooked on the inside and tastes great. I’m impressed how quickly everything is cooked, it’s definitely faster than an oven and feels way less greasy and healthier than frying. The best part for me though is the cleaning, it’s so easy, there’s hardly any grease after use and what is there pretty much rinses away under warm water so after a light, quick scrub it’s as good as new.

The only constructive I can give is it’s louder than ideal in use. Also the timer isn’t digital so you can add time but not take it away, so if you set too much you need to switch off the power and just leave the timer running until it finishes. The bottom of the unit does get a bit hot during use and the when you remove the food the container is very hot so you will need a heat proof surface to place it on.

Overall though I’m very impressed with it. It looks great, takes up hardly any space, can cook a reasonable amount of food quickly and to a great standard and is so easy to clean. I would happily recommend this air frier, it’s currently my favourite kitchen appliance.

Fabulous air fryer that cooks practically anything
I ordered this for my daughter as she’s recently moved into her own place and wanted her own air fryer. This is a perfect sized one for cooking for herself and her partner.

It has a removable tray to cook the food in. With some air fryers, there’s a paddle inside that rotates to cook the food evenly. This doesn’t have a paddle, just the tray, so if you’re cooking a batch of something like chips, it’s good to shake the tray a couple of times during cooking so that they get moved around a bit and cook evenly.

It’s a great air fryer though. Honestly, my daughter doesn’t even bother with the different temperatures and just cooks everything at the same temperature and the food comes out thoroughly cooked every time. She’s done all sorts in there; chips, breaded mushrooms, chicken nuggets and even toasted sandwiches.

It’s a fabulous starter fryer for someone and it’s up at a good price too. It’s well made , easy to clean and my daughter absolutely relies on it and, like I said, it’s a good size for a couple.

    Fab!
So, I’ve never actually used an air fryer before so was excited to get this but unsure. When I got the product the instructions are great, it’s super easy to set up and use and is easy to clean and maintain also. We tried on chips first which came out lovely and crispy with so much less oil and fat than used in the oven, amazing! I also loved trying chicken out with the air fryer as it maintains the juices and doesn’t dry out as easily as in the oven. I tend to go for the air fryer over the oven a lot now as it’s super quick and easy, no faff. I also really love the timer system and the noise it makes to alert that the food should be ready. All in all a fab product and at a decent price too! Haven’t gotten to use the grill part but definitely looking forward to that!

I’ve been using airfryer of various brands over the past few months in my family. I like it’s quick and precise cooking and convenient after care of the utensils. This Tefal Easyfry precision is so compact among those and really faster than those I used before.
    Pros-
-Every airfryer I used before tend to emit a plastic burning smell whenever I start them. However, this product does not have any of those unpleasant odours.
-it is quicker than many of its competitors
    – its beautiful and compact.
    – easy to clean
    – looks and feels solid.
    – pretty long power cord.
    – beautiful and informative easy to read.
    Cons
Smaller size- if you have more adults at home, consider choosing a larger one.
    – not much instructions to operate for a beginner.

    Good healthy frye
I’ve used other air fryers in the past and found this one easier to use. I like the fact that it’s manual, rather than a digital touchscreen. It feels more familiar to use.

It has a large capacity which is fantastic for a family. You do need to agitate the contents, especially when cooking chips to ensure even cooking – but that is normal for air fryers.

The fact that this also has a grill facility is a bonus, rather than a gimmick – it is a useful function which adds to the versatility of the product.

To test this, I cooked the usual first air fryer meal – chips! Make sure you soak your potatoes, after cutting into chips, for at least 30 minutes, this helps take out the starch and ensure your chips are crispy on the outside, while fluffy on the inside.

The test went well, chips were on par with others I’ve cooked in more expensive airfryers.

The product is good, it’s versatile and looks great on the kitchen counter.

Great but will you actually use it?
Excellent with chips, meat and fish. Easy to clean. Reasonable price. Nicely made.

Chips came out really good – crispy and tasty. The pork chops had a nice, charcoal glazed look and were also very tasty. The fish – unseasoned seabass – were equally well cooked.

Used it exactly 3 times – twice for the purposes of this review!

Why? Because it does nothing our existing cooker and BBQ can’t do!

OK so it’s not really BBQ weather but we simply don’t have room for it in our kitchen.

Great buy if you do though!

I’m a convert to Air Frying.

To be honest I never really believed that air fryers would be any better than good old full of oil deep chip pan, this has been a revelation to me. The moment I took the pan out of the machine and saw the chips that had been produced I just couldn’t stop smiling. Perfectly cooked and without the grease.

I’d used Maris Piper potatoes still in skins, a little oil and once ready to eat, a light dusting of salt. They were perfect. I didn’t share them either, just sat in the kitchen and ate the lot.

The machine itself is robust, easy to use and easy to clean. The timer is mechanical and while the scale is not in single minutes, the five minute intervals are sufficient.

It is so easy to use. I know this is a multi purpose air fryer, it can even cook a chicken if it fits in the pan, but for me it’s enough to produce exquisite thick cut chips.

The pan holds more than enough for four people but when frying I suggest not over filling it as the hot air needs to circulate. It is a great little machine.

One thing to note is that it is quite loud, louder than a fan oven so if you are thinking of a secret fry-up, the wife the kids and the dog will be standing at the kitchen door for their share. Its probably wasted on my because I only use it for chips, but I haven’t tasted better.

As quick as a regular deep fat fryer with far less mess and smells
Iv received this 2 in 1 Tefal air fryer through the Amazon vine program for a honest review.

My first thoughts when the package arrived was wow it’s rather big unit measuring 36 x 27 x 32cm in height and the weight being a massive 5.2 kg but saying that the fryer will fit somewhere in most kitchens. The airfryer is not one of the cheapest brands out there but you get what you pay for with this unit ,A well known brand like Tefal should last you a good few years.

It’s extremely easy to use nothing complicated at all.First of all I would recommend you wash and dry the draw and the grid before you start with any cooking just to be sure there’s no dust or oil left over from the manufacturing process.

I started off by trying to cook oven chips in the airfryer,I evenly placed the chips on the bottom grid added a teaspoon of oil over the chips set the timer to 20 min and let it do its job (I did give them a quick shake up 1/2 way through) They came out slightly burnt the first time my own fault as I had the heat up too high so 2nd time lowered the temperature settings to 170c set the timer to 20 min again and this time was much better evenly cook lovely chips with out the whole house smelling of a chippy. The 3rd time I tried cooking the chips with no oil at all this time giving me amazing results the chips was even better with no oil added to them. Iv also cooked sausage in this beauty no oil added 15 min latter perfect cooked sausage.

Great bit of cooking kit that keeps you wanting to try other things in it, The only bad thing to say about this airfryer is it is rather loud when in use, Other than that it’s changed my way of cooking easy to use and very easy to clean top marks. Practice makes perfec

Fantastic and less effort vs ove
So when this arrived, first thought was ‘it’s mahoosive’! The sticker on front left a tacky mess which is difficult not to remove I still haven’t gotten it off it just spreads if you try to wipe it.

The drawer is large enough to hold a whole small chicken but that wasn’t what we tried.I

Our 1st try was actually reheating leftover takeaway chicken. We used the air fryer option. It took 8 mins and came out crispy and piping hot so we were excited to try something else.

Our 2nd try was the air fryer. We used it for chips and fish fingers. We did the chips first and after first try I’d say they need a shake midway. But so far so good. Fish fingers could also probably benefit from a turn midway as the top was crispy but bottom soggy. I will try using the grill plate next time which I’m hoping will crisp up the bottom too. Allowing air to flow all around them.

Our 3rd try i used the grill function with plate facing jagged side up to leave lines on the food, which it did very well. It is a learning curve at first to work out how much time certain foods need. Our steaks went in for 10 mins at first but we like them well done so I added another 5 mins which was then perfect for us.

This is going to be used alot! Some things are just as well done in oven especially if you are feeding more people easier to oven chips than air fry for many or if baking large batches of cakes etc but for everything else I’ll be using this fantastic new gadget! Means hot lunches will be at hand which is great for this absolutely freezing weather.

Tomorrow we will be trying vegan sausages which I am in no doubt will be perfect.I

I really am impressed with this fryer/grill. Makes cooking easy.

The drawer is very easy to clean, most just wiped off but I would use a soft sponge to wash it and dry immediately in order to avoid ruining the coating.

Very easy to use. Very easy to clean.

I think this will be a big help with all the buffet bits come new year!

    Easy to use
The airfryer is black and very sleek in appearance, will fit in with most kitchen designs. The touch screen controls are simple and easy to operate. It has an all digital control panel with a number of presets for different foods but there is also an option to operate manually allowing the temperature and time to suit. I’ve used it to make chicken wings and it tasted amazing and so succulent with a crispy skin. The grill function grills food in fraction of the time. The machine was fairly noisy when cooking food but the food came out well cooked with a good colour.

A little noisy, but simple and very functional
I shall say first that the cooker arrived in Tefal’s usual high standard of packaging with all the necessary paperwork. I half expected a recipe book inside but not so, rather basic settings and the need to go online to download recipes.
Outward impressions are that it looks quality but devoid of controls until you depress the on button then behold, you have a NASA dashboard in front of you but don’t be put off. It is a quality piece of engineering and looks good as well as is functional. Size-wise it is average. It really is intuitive and even simpler if you use the presets which are depicted by images that are easily recognisable. For a whole medium-sized chicken, just two buttons are involved 1) select chicken and 2) start, the temperature and time are all pre-set. I happily went to watch TV and didn’t worry about keeping an eye during cooking.
I have since tried various dishes and they have largely come out well, chips are crispy, steaks evenly cooked… After a while, you can tell when presets might need adjusting and it is a simple + /- on the panel.

I thought this would be another gimmick but I am sold on this. There is a metal tray to allow grease or oil to run down.

I have attached some pictures of cooked meals I have tried and they have all tasted good. I found there to be sufficient moisture in the meats which is something I regularly get wrong using the electric oven.
In time I shall try my hand at baking cakes and bread, of course, using the presets first.

Overall I am impressed by the cooker and I am happy to say that I started off as a sceptic but I was soon won over by the ease of use and the efficiency as compared to my electric oven. To give you an idea of capacity it can house a medium-sized chicken. I’ve also included a photo of a frozen pizza to help give you an idea of the size of the tray.

All said, it is a fairly noisy machine but that is the nature of the cooking technology, and that is similar to other units that I have tried. I have got used to it using it regularly. I would recommend laying a board underneath the cooker because of the heat emanating from the bottom to say, your worktop.

It is also very easy to clean though I would avoid using abrasive scourers which is likely to scratch the Teflon coated surface, and while the basket may fit in a sink better than a large tray, it can be a little unwieldy, especially if there are other things in the sink too!.

I would definitely recommend this product. I am looking for excuses to try out different types of food it is that good!

    Hope this is helpful.

    Absolutely love it!
This Tefal air fryer is so easy to use as all you need to do is just set the time and the temperature and you’re ready to cook. I have cooked southern fried chicken thighs and chips. The chicken was so tender and succulent, the best I’ve ever cooked. On the whole a great little fryer to cook with and as you’re not using too much oil, much healthier!

I love how I can just turn the air fryer on and have food cooked in 20 minutes, rather than waiting for my oven to heat up for 15 minutes, and then cook my food for another 20-30 minutes. It’s so convenient and time manageable. It would be great for students to cook in their dorms.

The air fryer is of a good size with one drawer, and it holds a good amount of food. It is so convenient to use and easy to clean. You simply wash the drawers and crisper trays in hot soapy water and they’re good as new. I love it and I would totally recommend.

The best gift for new home owners, students or for busy families. Highly recommend!!

We already can’t live without this !
This air fryer and grill by Tefal has seriously changed the game and has levelled up our daily cooking. Air frying food is a far healthier and surprisingly tastier than cooking food in the oven or deep fryer. Unlike a microwave, air fryers do not remove nutrients in the food so you can rest assured that your tasty meal is as good for you as it is for your tastebuds.

It’s been a no brainer to have McCain chips in this air fryer, the fries have never tasted so good and now the whole family is addicted. I even caught my mum sneaking into the freezer trying to grab some fries for breakfast

It goes without saying that this air fryer is super versatile, you can grill steak, cook various meats/fish, even bake a cake. The options are almost endless and the easy to use interface makes this even easier. Simply slide the dial to the necessary temperature, set the timer and you can let the air fryer do it’s thing so you have more time to do the things you love in the meantime. If you are cooking fries I’d suggest moving the fries around every 5 minutes to ensure every chip has an equal cook and crispyness to it.

If you are concerned about electricity, don’t be. I did the maths and this air fryer uses far less electricity than most ovens and cooks your food faster. This means healthier food at a fraction of the cost.

I really love the design of the air fryer and grill too. It is compact in design, looks modern and sleek and looks great in my kitchen. This tefal air fryer has been a part of the family for just a week and now we can’t live without it.

    5 stars!

Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! 🙂

Really Easy to Use and Great Food!
This machine is well named as it couldn’t be easier to use.

You simply place the food in the drawer and press the picture of that food on the touchscreen, press the power button and that’s it!

Before you press the power button to start there is the option of adjusting the temperature or cooking time to suit individual tastes, but I have found the built in presets to be ideal.

We have been mainly using this to make chips and they are much, much nicer than the ones done in our previous air fryer.

The machine itself is quite large (see picture with loaf for scale) and this might be an issue in a very small kitchen. It also lacks an automatic stirrer, so you have to pull out the tray half way through cooking the chips to give them a shake. Another downside is that the fan is quite noisy. Much louder than our previous air fryer but worth it for the much nicer chips!

The machine has a very nice textured finish on the lower part. It looks very stylish and appears to be very robust and well built. It is also easy to clean.

This machine really is incredibly easy to use and I would recommend it. I was tempted to knock one star off the review because of the lack of an automatic stirrer and the high noise level but personally I don’t really have a problem with either.

It delivers oil-less but very tasty food
The following is review of the Tefal EasyFry Precision model EY505827 Air Fryer & Grill. It arrives in a very descriptive box with assorted illustrations on to show what it does. I must admit we have tried with a supermarket ‘own brand’ air fryer and we gave up after two or three sessions as all we need up with was anaemic looking, warmed up potato chips. This Tefal on the other hand is quite a revelation as it does chips the way we like them in this family, really golden brown — see photo. The instructions are the usual Tefal type with loads for thumbnail illustrations with not a lot of text but to be fair, the icons on the front of the fryer, once switched on, don’t take too long to work out – for its initial try out, we put some chips in the container, added a tablespoon full of oil and then slide it back in and press the icon. Then very so often in its cycle, we pulled the container out to shake them about and carry on until a golden brown – we have found about twenty minutes produces the chips we all like here. The timer and temperature settings are quite easy to figure out using a plus or minus symbols to press – it’s that easy. We did a couple of small steaks using the supplied griddle plate and the grill option as opposed to the air fry and by doing much the same as with the chips, turning them every so often, they cooked wonderfully well and being our first attempt t made us feel quite chuffed! Next up was some chicken portions in breadcrumbs and after ten minutes or so they too cooked up rather nice. We now intend to experiment with other items but overall its quite a simple set up with daughter wanting too use the cake baking option, so in fact this is such a versatile device I could kick myself for not getting one sooner – the ‘supermarket own brand’ is now going to a charity shop so somebody else can try their luck with it. End thoughts: okay it’s slightly noisy but to be expected as it has a fan inside it but as it delivers oil-less but very tasty food there is not a lot to dislike about it hence my – or our! – star rating plus with only one part to clean afterwards, wonderful.

Super fast cooking and energy saving. I love it!
This is my new favourite kitchen appliance!

It is very efficient, far quicker than my big oven, great results so far and I have done steak 2 minutes each side on grill setting, Bacon, couple of minutes each side on grill setting, chips ( barely one tablespoon of oil) 20 minutes on the air fryer setting and last night very successfully, Yorkshire pudding air fryer setting for 15 minutes.

Really convenient for heating up pies quiche super fast.

I can’t wait to try more using this Tefal Easyfry air fryer and grill. There are only two of us so it is far more economical than using the usual oven. We have pies tonight and they are going straight in there.

Really easy to clean, super non-stick coating and you have the choice of flat rack or ridged rack for the char grilled lines.

The instruction book leaves a lot to be desired, but the LED display is self explanatory anyway.

Well worth the money for energy saving and added benefit using less oil and fats.

    Compact but instructions weren’t grea
This Tefal Easyfry Precision is quite compact in comparison, to my current Actifryer. It’s still heavy with a decent capacity.

My first attempt at using this Easyfry was a disaster. I put some fries in and set in on timer; halfway through I gently tossed the fries. When the timer came to an end, some of my fries were half cooked and the other half were over done. I think I know where I went wrong
but better instructions would have helped.

Overall, I do like this Tefal Easyfry. It doesn’t take up too much space on my kitchen counter. Im going to try the fries again and if all goes well, I’m going to try steaks on the grill.

Healthy energy efficient cooking with this 2 in 1 air fryer and grill.
Absolutely love this product from a brand you can trust Tefal. I’m someone who doesn’t like to spend to much time in the kitchen when it comes to cooking, so anything that makes this process simpler, healthier and in less time has got my attention. Never used one of these before, but very easy to navigate the touch screen on the Tefal Easyfry, even I can master this. There are 8 pre-sets to choose like chips, Nuggets, Chicken, Fish, meat, Veg, Pizza and Cakes. I started off with something simple, chips, but I’m eager to try other foods. The chips tasted delicious.
The capacity of this Easyfry is 4.2L and is designed to cook foods 40% faster compared to traditional ovens, which of course saves on energy. This Easyfry uses little to no oil at all which is healthier, and because of the air technology for cooking there is up to 99% less added fat. There is also a QR code which you can scan with a mobile phone, which then gives you access to 32 different cooking recipes, and are nice and straight forward to follow along to.

    High tech cooking powe
This is some high tech gadgetry. It’s a beautiful looking air fryer, has an easy to navigate touch screen display and Cooke’s really well. It comes with an easy to follow How To guide as well as a cooking idea booklet. The grill section is amazing, allowing all the fat to drip away and be conveniently collects in the bottom. The basket holds a great amount of cooking and best of all, super simple to clean.

Getting started leaflet lets this appliance down but it is great otherwise
This was got to replace an older air fryer which had seen better days, it is much easier to clean and removeable parts such as the bucket and grill are dishwasher safe which is great. The getting started leaflet could have done with being more in depth and for those not very techy the recipe book is digital so needs a QR reader to access it and I am not sure if/how to save it so I don’t have to keep looking digitally for it.
That said it is easy to use with touch controls for temperature and menu, a timer to tell you when your food is cooked and is energy efficient, using much less electricity than a conventional cooker. As with all air fryers it also uses much less oil so is healthier for you but the addition of the grill rack allows the seared effect still.

Cooks food quickly and well, easy to clean, not very big cooking area, poor instructions
This is a quite compact unit with a nice modern aesthetic. The controls are all touch screen making it easy to wipe clean; they don’t show up until the unit is plugged in.
The cooking area is 8″ x 8 1/2″ x either 3″ or 4 1/2″ (depending on if the removable trivet is used). So only small chickens and tiny pizzas are a thing. However the size is ample for chips and fish pieces. The only issue is that chips can get stuck under the trivet and the trivet is tricky to remove when hot.
The cooking basket is very easy to clean but any fats that spit up onto the heating element and fan I don’t know how you are meant to clean or even if you are supposed to.
The picogramme instruction leaflet is very poor. I had never used an air fryer before and found it quite easy to pick up what to do but the instructions really need a bit of a redesign. A QR code for a digital recipe book also didn’t work.
In operation the unit is quiet no more noise than a microwave, it cooked food quickly and with little need for any extra oils and fats
I am going to knock a star off for: use of polystyrene packaging, small and poorly laid out instruction leaflet, QR code that produces a 404 not found error when scanned and the annoyance of chips getting stuck under the trivet.

Good quality air fryer that works very well
The Tefal Easyfry Precision certainly looks the part on my work surface. It needs a clear worktop space of at least 30cm square to accommodate its footprint and to allow a little space around it. It also obviously needs access to a socket for power but otherwise that is it. At 33cm tall it would fit under my kitchen cupboards but I chose to put it in free space next to the kettle. We found that the fan is moderately noisy during use but no more so than say the microwave or kettle and not an issue as far as I am concerned.

The instructions are not overly wordy and require a little bit of study to get the full picture but in practise this Easy fryer is both simple to set up and very simple to use. First up we tried chips and then some duck pieces. The instruction sequence for the chips is very easy to follow and the results were pretty good. We also found it easy to adjust the cooking time during cooking and reduced it by 3 minutes from the pre-set 25 minutes at the point where you take out and turn/shake the chips. The duck was similarly easy to cook and the fryer did a good job of crisping the skin but not over cooking the meat. Pork chops is the next adventure but so far all so good.

At this point it must be said that if you are fortunate enough to have a decently equipped kitchen space with oven, hob and grill then there are alternative ways to cook your food. Whether these are better or just different is a matter of preference but it begs the question where does the Easy fryer fit in. Well it is certainly very good at making chips and in my not inconsiderable experience competes very well with using the immersive oil technique in a more traditional fryer. It also cooks meat very nicely and keeps it moist and succulent. The pre-set programs mean it also requires very little intervention so you can set your program and kitchen timer and be busy elsewhere until it is time to turn the meat or shake the chips.

So in conclusion, I think this is a very good air fryer and one that I am glad to add to my array of kitchen equipment. I think it might prove useful for someone who does not have access to an oven but equally in my bedsit days there is a great deal you can make on one or two hob rings. The main issue here would be keeping the chips warm while you cook the meat or visa versa, if you do not have an oven. It is simplicity itself to use and in the case of chips for example it is both safer than a traditional fryer, uses a fraction of the oil and one is not left with the dilemma of what to do with the used oil either. It uses less power than a traditional or fan oven but still cooks in around the same amount of time. I have wanted an air fryer for a while. I like chips and I like the Tefal brand. I have several of their pans and they have all given good service. The bottom line is if you want an air fryer then this is a good one and that is why I gave it 5 stars. My only caveat would be make sure it is also what you need and its features are a good fit for your requirements. Happy cooking, personally I cannot wait to use it again.

    Simple and efficient Cooking
This Air-fryer from Tefal has honestly far exceeded my expectations and I have loved using it for making most of my dinners.

Cooking with it is so simple with you just having to set the temperature dial and timer and that’s it.

The built in grill attachment makes really nice steak and chicken and it gives my food nice char grill lines when cooked using this.

It cooks everything I’ve tried perfectly and evenly and I have loved everything I’ve ate from it.

Cleaning it is simple enough tho you will have to do it after every use for keeping it in optimal condition.

This is fantastic, I much prefer using it over my oven. Highly recommended.

Sounds like cooking your chips in a tumble dryer, but they do turn out well!
I’d been looking at Air Fryers as a possible purchase so it was good fortune that this came up to try. I was curious about how they cook so quick, especially the results for chips which seem to be a staple for this type of machine. On unboxing the unit is quite large and the pictorial instructions rather confusing if I’m honest, a bit of text wouldn’t go amiss! I’m a little surprised that the vessel you cook in isn’t detachable from the handle so you have to wash up carefully in the sink rather than the convenience of just sticking in the dishwasher. I wasn’t clear if it needed to be run for a few minutes in advance of first use but I did that, at this point I discovered it’s about as loud as our Zanussi tumble dryer, I was surprised about this given some comments on it being pretty quiet.

First use was….chips of course! I did it the lazy way, washed the spuds, didn’t peel, just chopped up into chips, tossed in a small amount of oil and salt and banged in the Air Fryer for 22 mins at 200c. Half way through I gave a good shake and to check on the cooking progress, after 22 mins, done. Really impressed with the results, chips brown and crispy edges nice and soft in the middle. I need to experiment with other food (obviously) but so far so good. I take a star off for the noise of the unit and the terrible instructions but other than that it’s great!

    Incredibly easy to use!!!
I am over the moon with this air fryer it has exceeding my expectations.

My oven had broken down, the thermostat was broken it was burning all my food. As I use my oven almost daily I was looking into other solutions. My Mum has an air fryer (a really fancy expensive one) so I assumed I must save for an expensive one also. I am really glad I got the opportunity to test this one because it really does go to show that with air fryers price is not everything.

This one is currently at a price of around 100 which feels like a steal (if anything ever happens to this one I certainly will be purchasing another).

I don’t like over complications when it comes to cooking. I can say with confidence this air fryer is SO incredibly easy to use, it is probably easier than my microwave! It is really compact so will easily fit into the corner of your kitchen. The outside of it does not get too hot. It get’s warm at most. Also unlike other air fryers I have seen, I am able to use this under my floating kitchen cabinet. The top of it does not heat up and it does not produce smoke. I was really impressed with this.

I use this air fryer every day, it is so convenient. If you are someone that does not have much time to be cooking or waiting for food, this cooks food so quickly, miles faster than the oven, plus the food tastes much nicer!

I found it relatively easy to clean too.

Absolutely remarkable product, I can finally get rid of my broken oven and save some kitchen space!

    Hope this helps!

Great for chips and roasties - Easy to clean - Minimise smell and wasted energy
So a phrase are really interesting way to make medium size portions of chips and rice potatoes without all the hassle of a deep fat fryer or a tray full of oil. Normal frozen oven chips come out absolutely fine but if you want the best I’ll come if you can be bothered making fresh chips they really are a game changer and arguably a little healthier than the oven chips which are often containing a lot of fat already. The thing that really surprised me about this as I have used on a Friday before with how good it was a cooking meat with the included grill tray accessory. I thought it would be way too dry and overcooked but found it was able to do me a perfect medium steak without excessively drying it out. The other thing that is also very good as compare to a deep fat fryer or doing roast potatoes in the oven there is a lot less smell so I simply placed this under my cooker hood extractor and it means the whole kitchen doesn’t have to smell. The one thing I found a little frustrating is as the timer is analog you need to be careful you don’t set it to far as you can’t reduce the time manually. Unit heat up and is ready to use really quickly and this is ideal for myself and my partner you may want to consider other alternatives if you would cooking for say five or six as for the chips to be really crispy you have to be careful about how many you load.

Succulent grilled steak & fluffy chips
Overall great quality air fryer, quite a large capacity at 6.5L but it is a heavy unit, a tad bulky looking imo but functions great. Homemade chips come out perfectly fluffy inside with a nice crispy outer without the need for drowning in oil. Much better on the waist line and the conscious if trying to eat better.
The grill addition I really enjoy, it’s die cast so nice and heavy duty but cleans easily. Only thing I wish could be added is a cancel timer button but otherwise it cooks very well as you’d expect:

One downside is that the instructions leaflet is all pictures and most of them are hard to understand. Use images to illustrate by all means, but make the illustrations easier to make out what it is they are conveying.

However, after some hit and miss, we got it working to our satisfaction. You are supposed to heat it up for 10-15 minutes before putting food in it and we tried that at first and followed the advice on cooking chips (not frozen chips) and when they came out the were burnt but still edible. We then realised that the instructions were for 300gms of chips and we were only cooking around 200-250gms so we cut the time down and they were perfect — crispy on the outside and soft inside.

We have cooked chicken, salmon, hams, all sorts of veg and chips and they cook really well and quickly and presumably use far less electricity than a normal over/deep fryer.

The pan(?) and the cast iron griddle thing are easy to keep clean as well. Once finished cooking, I simply put some washing up liquid into the pan with the griddle still inside, then cover it with hot water and leave it for 5-10 minutes. After that, the food residue simply wipes off and you can rinse the whole thing and dry it. If there is a lot of fatty, crusted residue left behind before soaking, I wipe it out first with a bit of kitchen towel.

We have a friend who has a different make and it doesn’t need to be pre-heated, so on that basis alone, I am giving 4 stars to this Tefal air fryer but am delighted with it and more than happy to recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMagnificent, easy and quick!
I got this to try and use less oil, do less frying and also try to cut down on cooking times. To date, I’ve used it to do french fries. These have come out great and in the same time it would take the oven to bake them. They, did however, felt crunchy due to the 8ml of oil and the way the heat is dissipated within the tefal pan. One thing to note though. With this, unlike with an oven dish, you need to halfway take the pan out and give it a good stir, as the space is limited and you need to toss the fries around to ensure that they are all evenly baked. I also did some chicken (breaded and non-breaded). The breaded one only took 8 minutes and came out crunchy. The normal chicken took longer, but it was nice and correctly cooked. There are far more recipes I want to explore. The next attempt will be with a steak, so I will let you know how this goes!
Some useful side-effects. It does emit some heat whilst running, so it does heat up the surrounding space a bit. Also, I put it on whilst my daughter was sleeping in the next room and it is relatively quiet, so she and my wife, who was with my daughter could not hear a thing!
Overall, a real gem, which can deliver tasty, crunchy food within reasonable timeframes. It’s not going to replace your oven and/or your frying/grill pan, but it’s going to make things easier on days that you want things done as simply as possible! Oh, and did I tell you how easy it is to clean? Ridiculously so!

    AIR FRYER
Wanted one for years and finally got the chance to try one out. What an amazing appliance. So easy to use and so much better than my old fan oven. The flavour of the food is amazing too. Quite expensive but I thing worth the price.

    Great addition to the kitche
This air fryer is so easy to use, just set the time and the temperature and go. So far I have cooked chips and separately tandoori flavoured chicken thighs. The chicken was superb, the chips were good but I think needed to be dry before putting in the Air Fryer. I had just washed and oiled without too much drying. The second batch I dried thoroughly and they were much better. On the whole a great way to cook without using too much oil or fat.

    So happy!
Love this fry/griller, so much more healthier, I had made lovey rare steak cooked to perfecting. Easy to clean the tray. Look forward to doing a chicken roast next ! Best item to have for cooking meals. Has timer so can cook with out burning your food. Or having to set a timer on Alexa to go off. It just ring loudly and switch off. So no running to turn off the oven so quickly.

Good once you get to know i
So I will admit I had no idea that you had to use oil in some Air Fryers. I thought it was fried by air if that makes sense. Also I did not understand how the grill part of this worked but now I get that it’s the extra attachment you add in which separates the meat (or whatever you’re grilling) from the bottom of the fryer.

With these revelations in mind I now think that this is just as good as the Masterchef one we already had.
I still prefer the timer knob on the Masterchef and that it doesn’t need any oil but the cooking on the Tefal is good and the grill function is great for things like bacon and steak.

It is very useful when it comes to preparing larger meals as we only have a fairly small oven.

Well made, decent quality and reasonable value for money.

Useful Air Fryer, similar to a mini fan oven in effec
This Tefal EasyFry Classic has several points going for it and it will be a very useful addition to many kitchens. The best things about it are:
Easy to use – there are just two controls
Only uses half the energy of a conventional fan oven
Uses a fraction of the oil a deep fryer would use
Can grill or air fry, you could even cook meat, fish, etc
Easy to clean, there’s only the bucket and the grill to hand clean

I used this Tefal air fryer to make fresh chips (see picture) which involves chopping your chips up 8mm thick (up to 10mm if you are using oven chips). You then need to soak the chips in cold water for half an hour. Pre-heat the Tefal, dry off the chips, toss chips in a spoon of oil, then drop them into the hot fryer. After 10 minutes give them a shake, then again after another 10 minutes, otherwise they won’t cook evenly. After another 5 minutes they are done. The resulting chips are much like my home made chips whatever I use to cook them in. I have used another, larger Tefal air fryer and the only difference is that the larger air fryer turns the food as it’s cooking which this one doesn’t.
The instructions (which aren’t very good) say not to tip the chips out onto your plate in case the hot grill falls out but the grill is actually held in place by 4 small rubber blocks so it doesn’t fall out easily. I tipped the chips out with no problem but I had a spatula ready in case the grill started to move.

The only disadvantages that I found are:
It’s pretty noisy when it’s cooking due to the fan
You need to find a place on your kitchen counter for it

In summary, this Tefal EasyFry Air Fryer is like a (noisy) mini fan oven but cheaper to run. It could be very useful in a bedsit or somewhere that you don’t have access to an oven. It’s also very useful for cooking additional food, like roast veg, if the oven is full (perhaps with a turkey for instance). It does a pretty good job of cooking and it’s only 1550 Watts which is around half the energy of my fan oven.

    Excellent air frye
Great item. It has basic manual settings but everything is clearly labelled and looks really premium. I have tried it mainly for chips and burgers so far and they come out excellent with little to nothing oil! I wholeheartedly recommend this to everyone who wants to make chips from potatoes not buy frozen ones from supermarket. They taste so much better!

    Great for quick meals
I’ve been a huge fan of air fryers for the last decade. So much so that I rarely find a need to turn the oven on as they as such versatile machines.
This one is no different, it’s cooked everything I’ve thrown at it evenly, thoroughly and without any fussing around with too many settings.
At the full retail price, it’s higher than some alternatives, but it’s a known brand with plenty of good products available.
The getting started leaflet is probably where this machine is let down and could benefit from being a little more in-depth. Other manufacturers have included step by step recipes and instructions for things you wouldn’t even think to cook in an air fryer.
On the whole, if you have simple cooking needs, or love fried food and want it to be a bit healthier, you can’t go wrong.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersGreat air frye
I ordered this mainly to air dry cook chips and potatoes but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it can also do meats and cakes.

For chips and roast potatoes you just add a table spoon of oil to the pan and set the timer for 25 minutes. The dial on the front allows you to set the coming time but beware, if you go over the time you want them you can’t turn it back and have to wait.

The dial on the top of the machine allows you to set the cooking temperature. Next to it is a handy guide for coming time and temperatures for various foods. There is also a digital cookbook included giving you many recipes to try.

When the cooking is complete the timer pings to let you know.

There is a grill tray that slots into the main tray to allow you to cook meats and give perfect grill stripes on the meat. The meat cooks really well and the steak I cooked was a perfect medium rare after 8 minutes.

Chips are cooked to perfection in this, nice and crispy but using only a small amount of oil. A great healthy alternative to fried chips.

    Instant convert, nearly perfec
First time with an air fryer (Tefal EasyFry Classic EY501827) and I’ve taken to it immediately. As a single guy with simple cooking needs, this can be a total replacement for any frying / grilling / roasting. Everything I’ve tried has worked, including fried rice and excellent sprouts (after boiling & drying both). The quality is excellent, though I would pay a bit more for metal dials. It’s easy to clean, not too noisy, and lends itself to exerimentation.
Minor gripes: 1. The grill part is a bit hard to get in and out. 2. The front timer knob is stiff—it’s hard to tell whether it’s ok to turn it back to zero. 3. The instructions are slight. A leaflet with some ‘get started’ tips would’ve been useful. Apart from that, all excellent.

GAME CHANGER, use this every day, can cook so much in it, meats, fish, veg, and it’s more efficient and quicker than using the oven. It’s healthier too with oil/fat dripping down into a compartment. Easy to clean, stick it all into the dishwasher. Buy an air frier, you won’t regret it!

I love this air friar. It’s the first one I’ve owned so I can’t compare it to anything else but I love how quick it cooks things it’s far superior to the oven and makes such nice crispy chips. I’ve yet to use it to its full potential but I like what I’ve done in it already. Only down side is say is that it says it’s for six portions.. maybe for an elf but not a huma

Tefal Easy Fry Precision EY401840 Digital Health Air Fryer, Black, 4.2 Litre, 6 Portions
it is easy to use and to clean. it is a wonderful addition to my cooking tools. the fact that i use little or no cooking oil when using this product is a big Plus from me. but I dislike that i have to keep bringing out the food and shaking it around to prevent it burning on one side and also i found that when i cook my plantain in it i do not get the plantain flavour i would usually get if i had fried in on the frying pan.
but all in all it still gets a 99% from me.

    Great healthy air frye
We had been looking at these for a while. We decided to go for the Tefal one for a quality brand, ease of use and capacity. It is a great air fryer, easy to use and to keep clean.
We mainly use it for chips which come out really nice with no preheating so it works out faster and is more economical than using the oven (if you’re just doing the chips).
If you are using the oven then this can give you extra cooking capacity if the oven is full. Chips cook in 15 minutes, chunkier homemade chips can take a bit longer.
Sometimes we coat homemade chips in Nandos Peri-Peri salt before cooking and the kids love them.
Hash browns come out nice too in 15 minutes. It is a large appliance but we store ours in the utility room so it doesn’t take up lots of room on the kitchen side.

    We would highly recommend it.

Overall very pleased with the item, but agree with some of the other write ups that the display is a bit difficult to read, and yes I have removed the protective plastic cover! Makes good chips, yet to experiment with other types of food. Would have been nice to have a more concise instruction book and maybe some simple recipes, but having said that I am pleased with the item and it represents good value for money.

Best cooking purchase i ever made
I’ve used this for every meal since i got it… i dont even touch the microwave anymore… i barely touch my wife anymore… spending too much time with the airfryer for any of that inappropriateness.

Sometimes the missues catches me massaging in the soft coat of light spray that you put down before placing the battered chicken in… she thinks its wrong – i think its love.

Anyway 10/10, will be back for a younger model in a decade or so

My wife and I love this bit of kit! So easy to not have to mess around with our conventional oven and the grill. Just be mindful to practice using this for a while. Set times slightly less and the temp slightly less or vice versa…it is very efficient and so easy to burn stuff if you treat it like a normal oven/grill.

E.g. Say frozen chips say to cook at 180 degrees for 25 minutes…we would first try 180 degrees for 18 minutes etc!
