Service Plan
Tractive uses GPS and communicates through cell phone towers, which enable you to track your pet 24/7. Since using the cell phone towers and infrastructure has expense associated with it, a small monthly or annual fee has to be charged by Tractive. You can stop and restart the service anytime, and we don’t charge any activation or other hidden fees.
The service fee is a flat fee. Tractive offers different service options. More information can be found on the website of Tractive!

Good but can be expensive
Very good piece of equipment but you need to explore the total cost with subscriptions and if you need to upgrade
Still quite bulky on a small dog but I guess it will get smaller as technical advances are made
Tracks well
This is the old model and the battery life is frustratingly short . We try to tack our dog around the farm so ideally want it running all day , so have to remember to put the dog out ,clean teeth , put on pyjamas and charge the tracker . Interesting to see where she goes . Have planned to try it on a sheep

Does exactly what it says best feature for me is the sound alert and light as my dog does not like the sound and as soon as I switch it on she comes running back

Good Quality Pupper Tracke
Good quality tracker, survived a swim with the ducks and several retreives in the brambles. Accuracy is fine-detail when “LIVE” mode is activated and relative latency isn’t an issue in this mode. Tracking app is straight forward, perhaps would have liked to see more movement stats like Strava, but it’s satisfactory for what it’s described as.
Only negatives being the fiddly clamping pins and that you MUST remember to turn on the unit to have any tracking features. I would have hoped perhaps an intermittent 5-10min “call home” would be given so that the device could be remotely activated.
Premium policy includes device replacement which is good value given potential for loss.

Having not had to call on tech support I can’t comment. This is ok providing you are not in a heavily wooded area where the signal can easily be blocked by the high branches and foliage

Great product and service! would not be without this tracker now. I know where my dog is all the time and it has also stopped our neighbour from enticing our dog away from the farm as we can see as soon as she goes out of the boundary so we go get her from him. absolutely fantastic!!

This allows me to know she is actually near by and is being an arse, the peace of mind is second to none, easy to set up and use even for techno phone like me, love the virtual fence alert that if she leaves the patient we of property I get alerted. Sure it could be used for many other things other than dogs too, has lots of features that don’t interest me, but could see they would be useful.

Very pleased so far , it seems very accurate ,the reason I purchased this was because my dog will wander off and I am hoping that I will be able to find him quickly.

Battery life isn’t great, really needs charging every night but does charge quickly
Otherwise it is. Mostly accurate, a few times you see your dog is miles away when she is right beside you but if I am looking for her it is very accurate. I can watch where the dogs have gone and see if they head for home or are getting near a road, then I can go and pick them up.

Not strong enough
This is a very good product and gives piece of mind when walking our dog that can be a bit of a flight risk. However the clip that holds it on is very flimsy, we use Velcro to stick it to the collar as well as the clip that’s provided.
Has lasted very well in the rain but our dog managed to get hold of it when it was charging and chewed it. Could do with being a bit tougher instead of thin plastic.
Generally very good though.

Our dog has a tendency to run off, but we can track her if she does! She lost it once in a field, but by using the app we managed to find it the next day! I would recommend this to any dog owner!

The battery of the tracker lasts several days (but I only switch it on for walks), but it uses a lot of my phone’s battery: when I activate the active tracking it uses an average of 1% battery per minute, and at least 4-5% of the battery just to locate the tracker (that sometimes can take a minute or two). These are the reasons why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5, otherwise I am really happy with it. The light and sound functions, that I didn’t realise were there until I started using the app, are very useful as well.

Great tracker, poor attachment to colla
Brilliant for locating my whippet when he sees a squirrel. Have used it to track him down a couple of times. The only failing is the clips that hold the tracker on the collar have come off three times now, I’ve only realised the tracker has gone when we’ve got home so I’ve had to go back out to get the tracker (which is easy to find using the app). Unfortunately, this time the tracker clip cannot be found and the replacement is 8.00. I’ve managed to sew a pocket on my dogs jacket which his tracker goes into which is fine for winter months. I just wish that the clips were more successful…they’re a bit disappointing.

Peace of mind for owners of dogs with adventurous Natures!
Invaluable for a regular runaway. Living on farmland and with plenty of wildlife to Initiate a chase Into woodland or hedges the peace of mind of knowing exactly where the dog is is invaluable otherwise he’d have to spend more time just one the lead. Would not be without it now, have bought more for relatives ! Have to remember to charge daily though!

Had this 2 years now and saved my Podenco bring list for good on a number of occasions. Never fails to locate quickly, attachment never dislodged (my hound actively hunts In rabbit holes etc), battery normally covers at least 5 hours, the AR facility is very useful and the accuracy is never out. Have used it all over the country and Also to ensure dog walkers are going their job when I’m away on business. Even lent to a Pro dog walker who was having trouble, 5 star review and a box of choccies in return

Reliable and worth the money.
This has been the best thing I have brought that allows Sonny freedom off the lead. He is sometimes a wandered off after rabbits. But with tracker on I have peace of mind. I can see where he has gone, and can be reunited within minutes rather than hours (as in the pass before tractive . Sonny is a white highland terrier.

We bought this as we lost our dog in the woods recently and it was very stressful having no idea where she was. This is great when they’re off the lead. The live tracking gives you a peace of mind when you’re out with your dog.

Great Customer Service - Device Mostly Reliable
The first device I received simply did not work for me and I elected to return it.
However, I was contacted by Tractive’s Customer Services Team, who offered to upgrade my device free of charge to the newer model. I found that Customer Services were extremely helpful and efficient and they quickly dispatched the replacement device and explained how to transfer my subscription on to it.
The newer device is far better with greater connectivity and a more secure and convenient fastening mechanism.
I have elected to keep live tracking on for the entire duration of our off lead walks. It is a shame that the maximum you can set live tracking to remain on for is just 60 minutes and it would be an improvement if the user had the option to simply leave it turned on.
When the device is connected in live tracking mode, it is excellent, giving an up-to-date indication of your dog’s direction and distance from you. Cremona has a tendency to disappear into the woods for minutes at a time and, when connected, I know exactly where she is and have been able to predict where she will appear from.
I would like to say that the connection is perfect, but it is not. I would say that I remain connected about 85% of the time. There seems to be a particular area of our most frequent walk where she is not connected. I can only assume that there is a weak 2G signal in this area. I will probably keep her on her lead for this part of the walk, now I am aware of the problem.
Overall, I am pleased with the product and intend to keep it. It is great to be able to keep track of Cremona, where there is good coverage and, in areas where the coverage is not so good, I would still prefer to have the possibility that I will get a last reported position should she go missing or get stuck somewhere.
Well done to Tractive for having the belief that their product would satisfactorily meet my requirements and swing my opinion around after an unfortunate start.
Falls off too easily
I bought this for peace of mind in case i ever lose my nervous dog. Thankfully I haven’t had to use it for that yet, but it seems reliable and accurate. The only issue is that the clips holding it on are rubbish, so it often falls off. I secure it with tape or cable ties, but as you have to remove it for charging I have to reattach it each day

This tracker has a brilliant radius easy to use on phone tracking
My little Alfie got spooked one day and ran off luckily he was found but it shook us up. I now use my tracker every day and what a god send it is. My husband uses a mobility scooter and often takes Alfie out who loves to sit on the scooter…I can track them from home on my iPad which is great. One of the best things I have ever bought. Customer service was great when my charger broke. Immediately rectify my problem and very quick response. I would certainly recommend them. I also bought a collar for the tracker to sit in which is bright yellow so we can see him clearly when we are out.
Tie your tracker on with tape or elastic bands otherwise it will fall off.
Charging is slow and battery life could be longer. Fixings as above could be better it has come off but the tracking facility enabled finding. She is however a rumbustious terrier prone to chasing things and escaping.
When she does get out we do know where she is which is very reassuring and a great relief
Life Saver!
After my dog disappeared for hours in the woods chasing rabbits i purchased this tracker hoping to eliminate the stress and worry of finding her again. It works! Can now find her no problem at all and very accurate. She wears it when out with the dog walker also when I am working and i can follow her from my desktop. The dog walker loves it so much they have reccomended it to other dog owners whos pups are prone to taking off too. They can share the app with me so we all can see where she is! Very user friendly, wouldn’t be without it now.
Gives You The Peace of Mind to Enjoy a Walk With the Dog
Our dog sometimes decides it is more fun to follow her nose rather than return to us. As the tracker has subsequently shown us, this can mean her putting quite a distance between us and her in a very short space of time. We have found the Tractive device is now the first thing we pick up before going for a walk. I would recommend it to anyone in the same situation as it allows you to keep constantly connected to your dog, understand where they are and when they are on their way back. Ideally I would be a better dog trainer but in the absence of this Tractive enables me to still enjoy a walk with the dog.
Knowing where our dog is instantly
This dog tracker is absolutely great. It notifies me when our dog leaves the virtual fence (with my wife) even when I’m away at work. It is great for tracking him when he charges off into the undergrowth. Highly recommend
Love Tractive
We have been using Tractive for over & year & have just upgraded so that we have spare batteries. Tractive has given us such peace of mind as one of our dogs was a bit of a wanderer & we knew that we could always find her. Now we mostly use Tractive when we are out walking to ensure that we can always find our girls if they get distracted. I can’t recommend this product highly enough & when I did have a technical issue, it was rectified immediately.
If you are considering Tractive, then don’t heistate, we’re sure you will love it too!

We live on a farm and our dog is free to roam over many acres. We also go on many off lead walks from home. The tracker is invaluable. I always know where she is at any time. The really big downside is that the battery life lasts for only one day. If my dog does go missing, unless she is found within a day of the battery life, the tracker is useless…

I think Tractive offers a few more things that I always missed on my other trackers. You can see where the pet is in real-time and it’s pretty spot on.

I am really impressed with this works fantastic once you get it up and running only problem I had was we couldn’t pay monthly for it ? So we had to pay 132 for 2 years service and we on no way of setting it up for monthly payments which I wasn’t happy about apart from that it work great as we have lost our 5 month old cocker spaniel once or twice now but found her very easy with this tracker.

Love this tracker, works really well. My only criticism is that it could be smaller and also have a better attachment to the college or harness, I have had to use cable ties just ho make sure it doesn’t fall off when my dog is rumerging around when out walking.

Excellent product with great customer suppo
My tracker has worked brilliantly for over two years, I always know where my dog is within a few metres. Recently it struggled to connect to my new phone, so I contacted the customer services team. They asked me to do a few checks and then were able to solve the issue quickly. They were very helpful and efficient. This is a brilliant product supported with great customer services.

Peace of mind when your pet runs away
We live in the middle of fields with a lot of wildlife around us so when our cocker spaniel sees something interesting she will escape and run so fast there was no way of knowing where she’d go. We bought her this tracker and we can all now rest knowing that even when she escapes we will know where to find her! It really has given peace of mind to the whole family!
We had a technical issue with her tracker and customer services were brilliant and sorted it out for us. Highly recommended for dog and cat owners.

Great product when able to get a phone signal – less useful on GPS. Use on our dog in the woods where she tends to go into the undergrowth – have managed to track her and find her when she is when she’s got a bit lost!

For tracking dog works well tracks him in thick forest. With EE so signal dissapears sometimes. But picks up with vodaphone. If you have a dog that runs off its work its weight in gold.

Walking in a big forest and couldn’t keep track of my dog. However my husband and I now don’t have to split up to see if we can find him. We know exactly where he is. Worth every penny. Great produc
Excellent piece of kit that gives me piece of mind.
I have both the original tracker for my older lurcher and the newer model for the pup. Whilst I have put the battery life as only four stars this is not totally correct. My original tracker has lasted for five days and tracked itself all he way to Germany. (I was returning it due to a fault with the charging light) but I was really impressed at how well it tracked it over the water and into Belgium and across to Germany.

I love the design of the new battery being able to easily clip on and off without removing the whole unit, whether we will have problems with it coming off when out and about remains to be seen. We have had the other tracker become unclipped when the dogs were playing so they don’t always stay on the collar or harness. But having said that as long as you make sure they are correctly clipped on in the first place this doesn’t happen on a regular basis. It’s obviously something that in time the company may well be able to rectify.
Yes there are some glitches, but so far there has been nothing that hasn’t been able to be sorted and I must say that I am very impressed with the quality of the customer service that I have so far received.
I pay the lowest subscription and paid for a couple of years to further reduce the cost. It’s a relatively cheap way to get peace of mind, especially when like me you own dogs that will run for miles before stopping!
Excellent piece of kit that gives me piece of mind.
I have both the original tracker for my older lurcher and the newer model for the pup. Whilst I have put the battery life as only four stars this is not totally correct. My original tracker has lasted for five days and tracked itself all he way to Germany. (I was returning it due to a fault with the charging light) but I was really impressed at how well it tracked it over the water and into Belgium and across to Germany.

Brings peace of mind
This tracker is the best thing ever. It is very accurate and although our dogs don’t tend to take off, there is always the chance they will if something spooks them. The peace of mind that this tracker brings is worth its weight in gold. Battery life is excellent. Haven’t needed technical support so didn’t rate it.
Helps track fat jack Russells
I got this for my jack Russell who quite frankly is a little tart. Our dog Walker let’s her of the lead so she can run her fat little back side off and chase the pheasants in the field. However many a time she meets a new hound .. like shes on a tinder date and trots of back home for some jollys. Now she has been done so I’m assuming she just would prefer their company and sofa to mine.
The device is great only down side is battery is a bit naff. But its water proof and mud proof and we can find the stubborn little madam within minutes.
A great produc
My Parsons terrier usually goes off hunting whilst I am walking him and now I have the Tractive tracker I can usually walk straight to him and find him. One issue I have had is the clip to hold the tracker to the collar can spring undone in the undergrowth so my mother- in law has kindly made a leather pouch for the tracker to fit on his collar. I have had a minor technical issue with the tracker and the support I have received from them is first class and so I would fully recommend the product and the service.
Great tool for naughty dogs
I really love the security of having this product as my dog’s recall is not good and he often runs off. The app is great, really easy to use. My only criticism is that I can’t tell distance from where his location pin is to where I am. This function might be available but I’m yet to work out how to enable it. The other watch out is that it does appear to use quite a bit of data from your phone. Other than that it is great – it’s roll proof, very waterproof and easy to fix and charge.
Very accurate
This has been brilliant for us! We have a new rescue dog that is not 100% recall and this puts your mind at rest as to where she is.
Peace of mind
Very accurate and well made tool. Loses tracker occasionally under dense tree cover. Managed to navigate my wife and dog from being lost in a forest over the phone. Great peace of mind when your dog chases pheasants

love this device! we have a flighty rescue dog who is now loving life on her off lead walks. Even though we’ve trained her to perfect recall it gives us that added peace of mind should she get spooked. totally rcomend
Decent tracker but poor clip..
Found this easy to use and reasonably accurate, what I would expect for a GPS system. The downside is the clip that attaches it to the collar, which is far too flimsy and not up to the job.
Essential for beagles in the countryside!
My husband and I have two beagles and spend 6 months of the year living deep in the countryside. Our Tractives are life-safers and we have no idea how we coped before them. When the dogs catch the scent of something and run off (something this breed is very prone to), we’re able to track them exactly where they are and go get them.
In earlier versions the tech was slightly less reliable – sometimes they would take a while to come live, but recent updates have taken care of that.
All in all we’re very happy with them.

Excellent product – great value for money and extremely easy to use with brilliant features. Brilliant company to deal with as well so helpful and respond incredibly quickly fantastic customer service.
Live tracking limitations
Not had this for long. Bought Tractive purely to track my dog if he ran off during a walk so I don’t use any other feature of the phone like virtual fences.
The collar clip feels quite secure but I wouldn’t trust it on a dog that goes scrabbling around in bushes as I think it could be dislodged.
So far – it has been very accurate and updates quicker than the previous tracker I had.
I don’t like the fact that live tracking is on a timer with a maximum of 60 mins. My previous tracker stayed on live tracking until you turned it off or the battery failed. So, as live tracking drains the phone battery too, have to keep on default tracking and if the dog runs off have to quickly turn live tracking on – but it doesn’t seem to turn on if the dog is too far away. Also – if you haven’t got the dog back to you withing whatever timer the live tracking is set for – you’re not able to track the dog. Not helpful.
Also it takes forever for the sound / light to turn on.
Haven’t used tech support yet.

AVOID IT FALLING OFF AGAIN.
Brilliant product, excellent customer service
A brilliant product that has helped me track and catch my tenacious escape artist dog on numerous occasions. Extremely reliable with good battery life and great functions. I have tried other trackers and none where as reliable, robust or feature rich as Tractive. Customer support is also excellent. They are very responsive and cannot do enough to assist with your queries questions.
For dogs you want to let roam, but don't trust to come back!
Nice and lightweight, easy to set up and use. Decent app.
Only as accurate as standard GPS technology allows, but aside from the occasional blips of ghosting (as gps does!) it seems to be remarkably accurate.
I don’t fully trust the unit to not knock free when he rolls around on his back, hence the addition of an elastic band! It’s probably fine, but those are free when the postie drops them compared to another unit, lol!
Excellent dog tracke
I bought this device as my new dog got lost a couple of times. She is a young Springer spaniel and loves going into hedges and through the smallest gaps. The Tractive has helped locate her several times when she became disorientated. I was able to retrieve her, but perhaps more importantly I knew where she was and could make my way in her direction. I was very satisfied with the battery life, it lasts for several days with a couple of hours use. In live track mode it will show where she is on the map, her speed, direction and distance. You do have to allow for a 10-30 second time lag for the cell connection to work. Having said that I have found cellphone coverage is generally good. My dog loves going through undergrowth and very small spaces, as you can see from the marks on it. The attaching clip fits tightly on the collar but it has come off once and the device needs to be checked for security each time you use it. The photo shows a screen shot from the app after it detached and I could get within about 20 feet of it from the blue trace. I found it under a particularly thick hedge once I activated the ‘sound’ on it via the app. It also has a light you can use in the same way. I had taken the insurance option to cover loss and they kindly sent me out a new clip (and a spare!). I have not used the ‘fence’ function and so can’t comment on that.
This is a good device with some great features. One down side for me is the attachment BUT my dog is extremely active through confined spaces and undergrowth and her behaviour is not typical to most dogs. Having said that I did manage to find it when it came off. The other downside is the battery which has a crocodile clip and isn’t accessible when the device is attached to the collar.
HOWEVER the latest model seems to address both of these issues.

Its grea
My dog does a runner and is away for 30 mins and I dont know where he has gone. Now I know he dosnt go that far away just out of sight. These are great! I wish i had bought one earlier as it would have saved a lot of grief.
Works really good
Gives good location information on Google maps. Some places do not work if there is no mobile signal but there are not many where I live. Very reliable, battery lasts up to 3 days. App works well. I do not like the clip on arrangement and put tape around it just to be sure but it has never come off. Would recommend.
Great device
This has given us peace of mind to know where our dog wanders off to. The accuracy is really good showing distance and direction, as half the time shes not gone too far but in bushes where we cant always see her.
I have not rated the tech support as we have had no difficulties with the device. I would definitely recommend this product, for total peace of mind, and not too expensive , fits perfect on her collar and we get a good signal to our phones.
Easy and fun- just remember to add monthly costs
I chose this product as after a fair bit of research.
So far pretty impressed with it but real challenge will be up in NW highlands next week where reception isn’t as good.
Set up was easy and although hardware was inexpensive you do not to remember monthly fees need paying up front which is a bit a leveller.
App is excellent and battery life hasn’t been a problem- just charge it!!
Make sure your dog collar is tight enough that you don't lose it!
I love this product, gives me accurate readings of where my dog is if she fails to respond…wish it had a bleep or something to show where it is if it slips off her head!!!
Safety Blanke
My dog is a bit impetuous, so we are only happy to let him off lead when we are well away from road, but sometimes it is not easy to see him in the countryside and woods. This gives us an opportunity to find where he is. It also has great coverage across the UK which was a problem with other trackers that I looked at.

Negative: Method of securing to dog is very poor. Needs to be reinforced with glue or cable ties. Crocodile clip charging method is clumsy.
Positive: Very accurate; Good features such as battery level; Good history function; Light weight.
Helped in multiple occasions
Have tried some other trackers in the past but Tractive has been the best by far, as it helps me find my pet straight away in the evenings and in the rare occasion my cat looses his tracker, the app has a function to make it light up and also beep, so it can be found. Customer service is also excellent, as I had a tracker fail at month 11 and they are replacing it without hassle.

The buzzer is a fabulous feature which I have used from miles away when the app notified me that she had got out of the fence. A quick check, press the buzzer and she was trotting home. The light isn’t so beneficial as the tracker is buried in her fur under her chin. The battery only lasts for a short period of time and for us, needs to be recharged every night and sometimes more than once a day. The app isn’t as easy to use as the pc version … the important buttons like the buzzer is hidden , whereas on the computer version it is on the top left of the map screen.

We are only a fortnight in but so far, so good. It has given us peace-of-mind as our dog can sometimes disappear when together in the park.
The positives are ease-of-set-up, and accuracy.
The negatives would be getting the ‘safe zone’ small enough – it currently extends way past our boundary and into neighbours gardens and secondly, for a 10kg dog, its size. Its just a little too big and I am sure with technology these days it could be a little smaller.
However would I buy again with the benefit of hindsight – yes, absolutely.
Absolute must have for dog owners
Fantastic device and the software app is really well designed for ease of use. Dog walker app can be downloaded which allows for tracking of walks and dog activity.
Considering the price of vet bills – this device is a must for all dog lovers.
Mine is on a hyperactive border collie who smashes into waves, mud and sand – unbelievably the device stays on his neck without coming off or being damaged. Had it 3 weeks now and he’s in the North Sea x3 a day.
I can sleep better now knowing if my furry friend goes AWOL I can trace him quickly.

Invaluable
When your pet likes to wander off this small gadget gives you peace of mind that helps you relax while out on a walk. My own pet wonders through the trees and forests of Wales and fair play this gadget has never failed to work even in the highest of the Welsh mountain ranges which is impressive. You simply can’t put a price on keeping your pet safe so to me the price I paid was nothing.
Having read the reviews I was in two minds but having a Patterdale with a tremendous prey drive and an indomitable courage i decided I needed a tracker so that I at least knew where to start digging!
She is part of a pack, the other two being JRT and Doodle, both of whom are much older and wiser. Now aged three we decided to let her off and see what happened. Well she dived headlong into the undergrowth on our heavily wooded walk. The tracker attached to her collar. I struggled to get it off at the end of the walk so am so far impressed that it remained in place through our two hour walk involving fences …over and under, ditches …in everyone, especially if there is water, lots of meet and great with other dogs …boisterous play if they were inclined. Rabbit, Hare and Deer chasing all part of the fun. Then …gone! Calling, whistling, full use of her squeaky toy …no trace. I determinedly remained calm and pressed live on the app screen. A red line appeared and I soon realised my dog and I were at opposing ends of this line. In fascination I watched the line increase in length, swing in an arched curve, zig zag, move on again…in the opposing direction, still. I continued to whistle and call, suddenly the red line stopped, darted left then headed back towards my end of the red line. I turned to my daughter, wait! She’s heading back, next thing we could hear her, then she popped out and the red line was complete. I fussed and treated her, patted and admired her skill in finding me again, patted my app screen back into monitor and popped it back in my pocket. Twice more in quite densely grown woodland this happened. It doesn’t find her but it does hugely reassure me to stay still, remain calm and call her. I love her to bits and would be devastated to lose her. This sturdy little tracker cost 29.99 and didn’t slow or appear to encumber my 8kg Patterdale at all. Setting up the app was relatively simple and worked perfectly. Charging it is straight forward and it is insured as part of the app package so loss and damage are dealt with so long as she isn’t lost too.
So far delighted, great buy, highly satisfied
We always know we can find our dog if he absconds.
Accurate and reliable. Gives us peace of mind in respect of our disappearing dog, he does not get far now when he takes it into his head to have a run around. It is dependent on a good signal for the GPS which can be variable in remote areas, but obviously we take extra care and keep him on a lead if we know the signal is suspect. The clip which holds the device on to the dog collar failed once, but Tractive replaced it.
I’m relaxed knowing where Robbie is all the time.
I honestly did not think it would work so well tracking Robbie. Even through some trees I was able to find him . At first I was not sure how secure the clips holding the tracker would be but they are good. I took the extra prescription out so if it did get lost or stolen I’m covered .

No problems with it so far. Does what it says on the tin. Of course the speed depends on the area you’re in. I’d far rather be with it than without.

Nice device. It requires a separate subscription that is around 59 pound a year for premium or 40 a year for basic. I recommend this device and the premium subscription. But only if you spend a lot of time in the mountain, hiking or you work there and your dog is off leash.
I work as a tree planter and my dog is 100% off leash whilst on the forest. It helps me keep track of her If I can’t hear the bell she’s wearing or I don’t have visual contact.

Love this tracker. It’s light, waterproof and compact. I’ve used it about 10 times. My Cocker Spaniel ran off and got lost for about 20 mins so I decided to buy this. It works from an app on your phone and has the usual map view with the dog and you ( you can put the picture of your own dog on the map (nice touch). But the real feature of this tracker is the camera view. You use the camera on the app and it shows you where the dog is and how fair away. I use this in very hilly sand dunes and it’s works so well. I have total peace of mind when taking the little fella out now. I am a tech geek and love it…
