100W 4 Port Charger
macbook charger

4 in 1 USB C Charger

The 4-Port USB C Charger makes it possible to charge 4 devices simultaneously with only 1 wall socket, much more convenient.

Why does it sometimes wake up my device when I plug in or unplug another device ?

When multiple devices are connected at the same time, plugging a new device in or unplugging any of the devices from the charger will render a short charging pause for other devices. This short pause is due to the power redistribution of the charger.

How to get the best performance of all charging ports?

When you need to use 3 or more of the charging ports simultaneously, to maximize the output power, it is suggested to preferentially use the C1/C2/A ports. The combination of C3 and A is not recommended because the power output would be minimal in this case.

Specification of this 100W GaN Charger

Input: 100-240V, 50/60Hz 2.3A Max

Kinder Reminder

When charges 3 or less devices simultaneously, it is recommended to use the C1 / C2 / A port first to ensure maximum power output.

When plug or unplug one of the charging device, other devices would stop charging for a second and then start charging automactically.

This is a solid charger that’s quite compact but charges everything at full speed. Very impressed.

It looks professional and works with my Lenovo slim 7 pro x, S23 ultra and other usb c devices.

Only con would be its got some weight to it, but that’s a testament to it’s quality.

    Happy customer.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersExcellent, compact, GAN fast charger (latest technology). But be aware, to sell at a reasonable price a USB C 100W fast charge cable isn’t included. I have three USB C 100W fast charge cables that I bought on Amazon for around 10 each. The plugs on these cables proudly proclaim “FAST CHARGE” 100w. None of them will fast charge either of my laptops with this charger. A 20 cable from Apple does, however Fast Charge both. So if you have problems with FAST CHARGE and this charger the fault is likely to be “flakey” cables.

1 USB-A ports (you know, the old ones, the ones that you try to put in but it doesn’t work so you flip it over and THAT doesn’t work so you flip it over again and it now works in the orientation that you had it in the first place but now your device is powered off and you find yourself muttering obscenities at the inventor of this connector…..but I digress).

Bought this a replacement for a Zendure charger that I got as part of a Kickstarter campaign and which stopped working after 6 months. So far, this baby is still going strong

I bought this 100w charger as I was tired of having plugs everywhere! The charger is fantastic! The amount of time spent charging devices with the orignal charges supplied has been halfed! The charged is a bit bulky and heavy however that is to be expected from such a device. The build quality is excellent and I have no doubt it will last a very long time. I can finally take advantage of the fast charging on devices with this and would recommend anyone interested to purchase one. The price is steep for what is at the end of a day a plug however the convenience it brings makes it worth it.

A nice, fairly compact (though not the smallest) but quite weighty wall charger, I’ve used this for quite a while now as my daily driver for a main devices and controllers.

I had some initial quirks with compatibility when trying to use certain mixtures of ports – to be honest it’s detailed in the instruction manual and I just haven’t been back to clarify after settling into only needing to use the two top type C ports.
It hunts a bit the first time you plug a device in, pulling a spike in power but settling down to the power draw needed by the device. It’s more than capable of offering fast charging for modern phones as well as powering a higher end chromebook.

If you pay attention to the split between the top and bottom port pairs more than I have, you’ll likely have a good enough experience with this and as I say, it’s performed well under daily use for quite some time now. I’d recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe item appears well made , but I did return it for the following reasons. on the website the ports are marked from top to bottom USB c1 , USB 100 W, USB C3 . on the actual charger are marked USB C1 , 2, 3 but without stating the output wattage . it is written on small leaflet inside the box and it is probably written on the front of the charger where the plug pins are… the letter s are so tiny I could not really read them. When I plug my equipment I want to know the wattage of each port – having said that , I believe the unit has a safety circuit that will protect the equipment if plugged in at the wrong port. the Minix Neo with similar specification has all ports marked with the wattage and also has a power light . But if this UGREEN Nexode matches the Minix Neo markings I will buy it even if it is about 20 more expensive

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat product.

I showed my wife who isn’t really interested in tech. After trying it she won’t give it back as she loves it so much.

It’s fully able to charge a laptop (or two) whilst also charging a phone and a tablet.

Often I’ll find that I’m charging my work laptop, my personal MacBook and iPhones all at the same time.

    Stays cool, nice and compact.

There’s 1 thing I’d improve. Personally it would be even better for travel if the prongs folded in like Apple iPhone chargers, but that’s just a nice to have and not a complaint.

The device feels solid, looks good and stays cool.

    Happy with my purchase

I use the UGREEN 100w GAN plug to fast charge my M1 Pro MacBook Pro 14″ (2021) via usb-c to MagSafe 3 cable. It was recommended to me by my local Apple Store Genius bar due to apple charging plugs being out of stock and with a 7 week delivery date (crazy). All in it is the best plug I’ve purchased – ever!

The 100watts is shared across its four ports (3 x USB Type C and 1 x USB Type A) so for optimum fast charging, i charge my iPhone 14 Pro and iPad when I’m not charging my MacBook.

    Would definitely recommend!

So far I am really impressed. Purchased to replace a faulty Macbook charger and I prefer this:
    – More compact so easier to store and transport
    – Plenty of sockets to plug in different devices
    – Charging seems to be fast and efficient

    Negatives:
    – It does get very warm (but probably to be expected)
    – The inclusion of a USB-C to USB-C cable would improve the overall package.

    I reccommend this product.

I am a USB power addict and have tested more than my fair share of USB-C PD supplies. I’ll start with the opening line:

This is the best 100w capable USB-C Power Delivery supply on the market that I am aware of. Since it features a USB C and A port which Qualcomm QC3.0 as well, you could call it the best all rounder on the market as well.

This uGreen ‘GaN’ technology charger features 2 100w capable USB-C ports which use USB Power Delivery to enable up-to 5A @ 20v which means this can power pretty much ANY laptop out there which features USB PD charging such as the MacBook Pro 16″ or any of the Thinkpad T series line up providing they require 100w or less.

    The third USB C port features 22.5W USB-PD (12v 1.88A) and the standard USB A port features Qualcomm’s QC3.0 technology which enables the load to negotiate up-to 1.88A @ 12v so 22.5w.

This charger outputs a TOTAL of 100W combined across any combination of ports. This means you can power a 100w load if that is the only thing connected, or alternatively a 65w load with a 35w load. The way the power is shared between ports is detailed in the listing.

The build quality of the device is excellent, very reassuring in the hand, quite heavy. I also like the profile of the device being an elongated shape which means it’s not going to block any adjacent sockets.

USB-PD nerds like me will also be pleased to hear that it supports all the usual PD profiles, 5v, 9v, 12v, 15v and 20v which gives great flexibility if using a PD Trigger such as the ZY12PDN.

This is the best 100w capable USB charger on the market at the time of writing this. However there could be an improvement. If there was just a tad more power available, this unit could provide 2 x 65w outputs which means it could power two decent laptops at the same time, or quickly charge large capacity lithium power banks. However I do understand the heat constraints of packing so much power into something so small.

My last gripe is the price. I paid over 80 for my first one of these, and no matter which way you look at it, that’s a lot of money for a USB charger. Luckily I picked up a second for just over 60 in a deal which I think is a much better price point.

If you want one charger to do it all, this is the one to get.

One charger to power them all?!! This is the one to get.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI can charge my Surface Pro 8 via USB C PD and Poco X3 Pro at the same time at full power. The Surface Pro 8 pulls about 57 Watts max and the Poco X3 Pro around 33 Watts so that’s 90 watts.

The Poco won’t charge at full power via USB C PD as it wants to fast charge via the USB A socket, this is the way it’s designed and nothing to do with the charger.

I’ve had the charger around 6 months and it’s given me no issues.

    I highly recommend this charger.

Easily charges a few phones or a USB C laptop. If you try to do phones AND a laptop at the same time, it load balances the outputs so limits the power to the laptop, but it will still recharge overnight. Worked really nicely when travelling with a high capacity power bank.

This charger has no problem powering a MacBook Pro. It is slightly lighter and smaller that the original Apple charger. It is still larger and heavier than a phone charger, but it can power several phones at the same time, so if you are planning to do that or you have to take a MacBook Pro with you, then you can actually save space and weight when travelling with this unit.
It feels solid and the body is made of a plastic that is nice to touch.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a great USB C fast charger, featuring a smaller footprint than most chargers and a generous amount of charging ports (3 USB C & 1 USB A), which makes it great for travel and use anywhere. I use this to charge my plethora of devices, mainly daily with my Pixel 6, Steam Deck, Sony Headphones (headphones and earbuds) and my Fossil Gen 6 Smartwatch. All are charged efficiently at rated speeds as confirmed via a USB tester. The charger features GaN technology, meaning it is more efficient than traditional chargers. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a fast, reliable and efficient charger which is used around the house, at work or for travel.

Had a new work laptop that required a USB-C 90w charger and wanted the convenience of having an extra charger to take around that would work with all my devices. Charges all my Samsung devices at superfast charging and 90w Dell laptop at maximum charging speed. I tend to only charge one device at a time so haven’t tested multiple USB-C devices connected at once.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have a power hungry laptop that takes between 90w -110w when I push it frequently on work when I travel. It has kept me going and certainly cut down on extra power bricks I need to bring on a trip which I appreciate. I use in in conjunction with a travel adapter wall plug and has worked flawlessly in Europe and America.
Though do keep in mind that if anything else is plugged in other than your laptop it WILL drop the power significantly. For overnight charges this is fine but in heavy use, keep in mind multiple devices plugged in if you want more than just your laptop charging at maximum.

Worth the money and certainly more travel friendly then taking a laptop power brick with you (if you have a travel adaptor already).

At home use and you don’t plan on moving it around, best wall charger around I’ve found.

This charger is amazing! I can change 3-4 devices at full speed from one socket, something which would have normally taken me 4 mains sockets and lots of adaptors.

IT is rather hefty and when it is being used at 100% load it gets a bit toasty.

It isn’t the best for traveling as there is no extra ends which you can put on the end to convert it into other plug standards, however when traveling around the UK it is perfect.

I use it for charging my:
100w PD Laptop, 30w PD iPad, 15w PD phone and 5w headphones.

I usually use Anker for my electronics but the most they could offer me was 65w with x2 usbc ports. This was under powered for my use case (power a macbook & thinkpad)

So I gave this a whirl even though some of the reviews weren’t great

The plug works great, I have it running my 2 laptops and a wireless charge pad. It runs all 3 devices simultaneously without issue

One thing I note is if I lift my phone of the charge pad the laptops momentarily stop charging. This is due to the plug recalculating where its sending power.

    Very clever

The plugs not too heavy, doesn’t run too warm and does exactly what I want it to do.

So I made this purchase as I’ve just spent 1800 on an ASUS G14 gaming notebook. But I didn’t want to carry the 240w charging brick that came with the laptop everywhere with me as it defeat’s the object of purchasing a slim and powerful 14 gaming laptop. Especially when you have to lug around a full large power adapter everywhere. When I realised the G14 supported 100w usb type c charging I set off looking for one. To my surprise there was not very many USB C 100w chargers on the market. Plenty of 65w but not many 100w. After doing plenty of browsing I settled for this one. When it came I was surprised how small it was for a 100w capable charger. I also bought a 100w USB cable from the same brand and it works great. I was pleasantly surprised that I could game on performance mode on the laptop while plugged into USB C and not lose any battery. That is absolutely amazing to be gaming on a laptop powered by USB type C. When using the laptop on the silent profile, the laptop charges up very quickly when doing general word processing and internet browsing tasks, even with the screen set to full brightness, keyboard lighting set to full etc. I have not yet tried out how fast it charges the laptop while other devices are all plugged into the the charger but I’m assuming on the right laptop power setting it will still charge the laptop while in use as well as at least another device. All in all though I can’t recommend this charging brick enough. If you travel like me, need to carry a laptop, and the laptop is capable of 100w type C charging, then this is a must have imo. I honestly think it’s a game changer in technology, now I’m just waiting till the 240w USB C chargers arrive so we can switch to a single standard for everything.

The charger is a bit heavy but sturdy. It can charge two S22 ultra in super fast charging mode.
It can also charge on fast charging mode using the USB A port. A great solution for charging multiple devices.

On the negative side, the price. It is not the cheapest. Arguably, it could be considered reasonable value for the number of ports. Saying that, it could also be negative because if you are the sharing the charger with another member of the your household and you need to be at different places.

I would recommend it if you are happy with the price tag.

This is excellent – particularly as a secondary Steam Deck charger.

Considering that this is basically a 100w transformer it is remarkably compact – but don’t mistake this as me saying it’s small because it is simply anything but. I presume it’s making the most of the new-fangled Gallium Nitride based components but it’s still an absolute UNIT. It’s chunky and dense, bordering on too large to be hanging out of a wall socket, but the design and feel is great, with soft rounded edges, gunmetal finish and only subtle branding.

This is the only after market charger I’ve found that can comfortable power my laptop without a low power warning, but it’s a lot more versatile than this because it can charge up to 4 devices at continuous (but variable) high speed as it has 3x PD USB-C ports along with a 22w USB-A port.

The steam deck only draws a max of just under 40w from my experience, and uses apx 20w to charge the battery and up to 20w passed through to run the hardware at the same time, my other chargers just choke at this, even the ones rates 65W – this UGREEN one handles it like a champ in the USB c1 and c2 ports. Highly recommended, one of the best chargers I’ve used to date.

Handles the charging and passthrough needs of the Steam Deck like a proper champ.

Until I bought this I had not experienced Super Fast Charging. I can now fully recharge my battery in under an hour if needed. Check the specification carefully but this should comply with just about every quick charging protocol out there.

Has enough grunt to charge a MacBook Pro and top up a few other devices.

Note: The smart design of this device means that it will calculate the power demands of devices as they are plugged in. Once calculated the device will stop power delivery for a brief moment before re-distributing charge to each outlet. Anything that needs constant power (for example a Chromecast or Firestick) will reboot. This is a charger, if you need a power supply there are far cheaper and more suitable options available.

I travel frequently, so wanted a single charger that covered laptops, tablets, cameras, gadgets and basically everything that comes a charger cable. I’ve used mine with almost everything now. 16 Inch Macbook Pro, 13 inch Macbook Pro, Nintendo Switch, Sony A7C camera, iPad Pro, iPhone & Xperia 5iii and the USB A port is left for charging things like my Fitbit, Smartwatch, non PD gadgets and headphones.

Do your research on how the 100W is distributed though. For example, if connecting a 100W laptop, it’s very likely that using another port also would take power away, leaving with only 65W going to the laptop and the remaining 35W going to the other device. But, I comfortably will power a 13inch Macbook Pro whilst working + my iPad Pro and still charging my watch. So truly is a perfect one charger solution for most desk set ups, especially travelling.

My only negative, is that I am baffled as to why is there no LED of any sort to show when there’s power.

Usual excellent Ugreen quality, rock solid, works exactly as advertised, delivers the expected wattage without any problem (tested via System Information). It’s power to spare for a portable setup comprised of 4 devices: M1 MacBook Air, portable 4K 17″ monitor, iPad Pro and smartphone. This means I can carry around my full office setup in a backpack and power it all from a single mains socket, which would have been impossible just a couple of years ago.

This isn’t my first GaN-powered charger, however so much power in such a small package is still an exhilarating experience for me.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWe have two Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultras – and wanted a Super Fast charger that could charge both of them at top speed at the same time. The top two USB-C sockets on this baby do it. The weight of this item suggests it’s a quality item capable of throwing out lots of power. TOP TIP: If you want to charge your SAMSUNG S22 ULTRA as fast as possible … turn it off. It just goes faster. Also, you need to have a cable rated to support PPC/PD – preferably at 100W. It comes with one in the box that does deliver 45W to the Samsung. The other USB-C socket does not support the SAMSUNG PPC protocol, so just squeezes out regular fast charging. This device is a better bet than the Samsung OEM fast charger as it will work with many more devices due to the 4 sockets, and higher overall rating, and support for more charging protocols.

Product does really well what promises. I haven’t tested it’s full potential but so far I’ve used 2 ports on super speed charger simultaneously and works really well. Quality of materials seems really good. Haven’t give the best rate for traveling due to it’s size, it was never meant to be a travel charger.

It’s a nice looking charger and it will charge a laptop (Macbook AIr), iPhone/ iPad and watch. it’s pretty solid, but the 3 pin plug is fixed in so you can’t chagne it for travelling to non UK countries.
Note that the third charge port down is 18 W only and that these chargers will not charge the beefier laptops such as Macbook Pros.

I bought this to be able to power the multitude of items I now have including a laptop which came with a 130W charger. The USB spec only allows for 100W so this charger seemed suitable and it certainly does seem to power at the top rate of 20v@5A when connected to my laptop. It also manages to convince my phone and other devices that it is a “Quick charger”, “turbo charger” or whatever. A lot of my devices have micro ‘B’ connectors (such as my phone), but a USB C to Micro B cable does the trick.
I’ve only had the item for a few weeks so I can’t comment on reliability.

I have used this successfully to swiftly charge a 2021 MacBook Pro 14, 2020 MacBook Air, 2018 iPad Pro, iPhone 12 Pro and a 2018 MacBook Pro 13. When each device was plugged in by itself, charging seemed to be at the fastest rate. This was great for the MacBook Pro 14. It was able to cope with many combinations of the above (I didn’t try every permutation), including powering the MBP 13 while charging the MBP 14.

The adapter is quite solid and dense. Based on what I’ve seen so far, I’m very happy with it.

There is enough power in this to charge my laptop but also it means that the additional USB ports are available for charging things like my phone and so on so that when I travel I only have to take this single charger.

It gets warm like they all do of course and it’s incredibly solid and weighty. It’s not too heavy but what I mean is that it feels very solidly made.

Heavy but compact. So if you have a loose wall outlet, this may wobble.. Charges up to 4 USB devices at a time sharing the 100W. We have been using this charger to for almost a month now and we see no fault of it. Charges our ipad, ipad pro and iphones quite faster and we didn’t have to use separate charger for each device especially when we have 2 outlets where we can use the gadget while charging. It feels pretty solid and sturdy. I have other good products from UGreen so I already trust the brand. I am not sure about the price though. It’s on the expensive side and I just would probably use the original supplied chargers than spending this much to save outlet space.

A surprise to me was its wide support of fast charging protocols via its USB port – Huawei Supercharging, Samsung programmable power supply, adaptive fast charge, etc. It is likely if your phone has a weirdo fast charging protocol outside of the standard Qualcomm Quickcharge or the USB-PD standard, this plug will support it. I’ve been using this charger for the last 3 weeks and I found it pretty interesting if I ignore some of the downsides it comes with.

    Pros
    – delivers the promised power- please be mindful that the use of multiports simultaneously will results in reduced power output.
    – sturdy and compact – just the size of an average cell phone charger.
    – smooth and fine finish – excellent aesthetics that matches with my black EDC bag and gadgets.
    – one charger is enough for all the gadgets in my bag- laptops, cell phones, headphones, smartwatches and the camera.
    – no noise or heating noticed.
    – No annoying LED indicators- have a nice sleep during the night. Typically those 3rd party chargers come with the light gives me a feel of someone’s watching me in the darkness and I hate that.

    Cons
    – heavy
    – the plugnspikes are not detachable like the MacBook chargers.
    – number matters- multi device charging reduce the speed and power output.
    – Experience than many other brands.
    – There is a glitch noted when any device is connected or disconnected. All the ports stops for a few seconds and restarts.

Overall, an expensive toy for the tech savvy person who doesn’t wants to carry a loadpful of chargers in his daily commute.

And overall built quality is excellent I expect the charger to hold up well over time. When it comes to the charging I think it does a great job as expected. Golden Review Award: 60 From Our UsersI bought both the 100W and 65W version because I knew the 100W was bigger and heavier and was worried it would be annoyingly so. In fact, the 100W charger, while heavier, is smaller than the 65W charger.

The only issue I see with the 100W charger is that the USB C ports are all quite close together which could make it marginally more annoying to use with multiple devices at once. However, I think this is so marginal that I’ll be keeping the 100W.

This charger is a beast, it is fairly big for a charger that plugs directly into the wall but in length rather than width so it doesn’t block access to any adjacent sockets, which is nice.

It charges my phone much quicker than the charger that came with it (I get the message “TurboPower30 Connected” when I hook it up) and offers the convenience of charging 4 devices at the same time. There are are 3 USB C and 1 USB A sockets. I had a small issue with this because the USB C devices I own (apart from my phone) came with USB C to A cables which limited the number of devices I could hook up until I sourced some C to C cables.

For the princely sum of 80 I think it would have been a decent value-add to include a couple of USB C to C cables in the package; otherwise the price, in my opinion, is a bit too high, despite the fact that it’s a top quality charger.

This is a neat looking fast charger which does the job well. A lot of time is given to charging various devices, for me it’s my phone, tablet and laptop – to be able to charge them all at a faster than normal speed is a great time saver.

It is expensive but if you consider how many ports the product has, giving you the options to charge different devices at the same time, it does present good value for money. To buy individual chargers to do the same job, would not be as cost effective.

I guess the main question you need to ask yourself is if you have the amount of devices, with the cables to fit, which would warrant the purchase of this charger. If the answer is yes – then you won’t be disappointed with the functionality of the product.

One thing that tends to annoy me nowadays are those products that are claimed to be “fast” chargers when they actually aren’t. There are many that say they are fast charging and probably would have been when charging a Nokia back in 1990 and there are those that are genuinely fast charging for modern Smart Phones. This is the real deal.

At 100w of raw power one can expect his / her Smart Phone to charge very quickly unlike those 16w and 20w products that claim to do the same. As long as your devices support fast charging this product will deliver the maximum input that the device can handle.

The charger is solid, heavy, well built and will last a long time however, being a three pin plug it’s only suitable for use in the UK.It can be used abroad with an adapter but personally I wouldn’t risk it if outside of Europe as too many countries have too many outages, fluctuating voltage and there is no earth to protect this product from being damaged.

The charger has four USB Ports so can fast charge up to four devices simultaneously however one must bare in mind that one device connected will have up to a maximum of 100w delivered to it but two or more devices have to share the power. If two devices are connected and the first device can handle 80w with the 2nd being 40w then the 1st will get 80w delivered to it and the 2nd will be a slower 20w rather than 40w. If a device has a maximum input of 120w it will only receive the maximum 100w. So, what one does is puts two or more devices on charge and when the one that chargest fastest is fully charged it should be disconnected. Should two 60w devices be connected, as soon as the one receiving the full 60w input is fully charged then it should be removed so the one receiving only 40w and still charging at a slower pace can the receive the extra 20w it requires thus speeding the charging time from that point.

The charger has four Ports of which three are USB C Ports and the fourth is a USB A 3.0 Port so it is ideal for charging multiple devices from Smart Phones to power banks and USB lights etc.

I am recommending this truly fast charger as it is well built, it’s strong, it’s good quality and it is good value for what it delivers.

This is a chunky heavyweight charger (269g to be exact).

Unlike others it seems to be able to give out a variable voltage rather than a fixed range of output voltages (3.3 to 21v on C1 & C2 @ 3Amps).

The third USB C output has an upper voltage range of 3.3 to 11v @ 2Amps.

I just got myself a new laptop and thought it supported USB-C charging but it does not so have not been able to push this charger to the limits.

However, all my other gadgets have been fine including my eight channel lithium battery charger.

It looks good and the case seems well designed to dissipate heat when on high loads.

  92. ChristaFQG says:

     United Kingdom

The charger is well presented inside a sturdy slide box, I was surprised by the weight of it being 290g, it feels sturdy to hold and I like the design and colour, the charger measures 50mm x 50mm and the total length is 70mm, the charger is to suit a UK 3 point plug and the pins are fixed in position not removable or foldable.

This is a fast charge charger and has a total power rating of 100w, it has 4 ports with the top 3 being USB-C and the bottom being USB-A, the power output will differ depending on how many devices you have connected, the top port used on its own will always output 100w and will drop to 65w/30w split once the second port is being used, so always use the top one for your power hungry device, there is a power chart included to see what options to use that will work best for you.

I charged my iPad Pro and iPhone using the top USB-C and the bottom USB-A pretty quickly, the charger didn’t feel warm after use and I have since been using it daily with no issues.

The charger has lots of safety features built in, equipped with an intelligent chip to protect your devices from short circuit, overvoltage, overheating and overcurrent, whilst also supporting PD 3.0/2.0, QC 4.0+/3.0/2.0, PPS, AFC, SCP.

It’s super handy to be able to charge 4 devices from one charger for trips away but take note of the weight if it’s going to be a factor.

Overall a solid fast charger that’s well made but I would have liked some sort of port lighting for when in use, thank you.

A battery charger is probably not something most people would think of as a thing of beauty – but this solid device from UGreen is smoothly finished in a seamless metallic grey shell and really looks the part.
It’s a GaN (Gallium Nitride) type charger, capable of outputting 100W of power to four devices simultaneously – including a proper computer.
Gallium Nitride is a material that is far more efficient than silicon at transferring electricity – it’s faster and produces a lot less heat. What’s more it can be used to make chargers a lot smaller and lighter than the power bricks we’ve been used to for our laptops. This is the case with this product – an example of a new wave of electronics for the home and office.
With four sockets – one USB-A and three USB-C – a full laptop plus three mobiles (or tablets) can be charged at the same time. The top two USB-C sockets will power a laptop, with an output of up to 20V 5A. All the sockets will power phones and tablets, with the USB-A socket preferably being used for older models.
I tested this with my HP laptop, a Samsung tablet and Samsung + Nokia smartphones and it was happy throughout. Managing a quick charge to the Samsung phone too. The charger got slightly warm whilst this was going on.
It’s about three times the depth of a standard UK plug at 7cm, with a width and height of 5cm per side, so it does stick out from the mains socket a bit more than I’m used too. This may limit its use for some people.
It’s not cheap at a penny under 80. But if you’re fed up of lugging around a heavy brick with associated thick cables every time you travel then this might fit the bill. USB cables are much thinner and this charger also eliminates the need for another three USB chargers for phones and other things. It is now my default power module for travelling as it takes up minimal space in a suitcase.
Of course, it’s important to check that this product is compatible with your devices in terms of power and plug type. It won’t work with an older laptop without a USB charging socket. But I think most laptops with a USB-C charging slot will be happy, and most phones and tablets won’t have a problem.
The quality is superb and it’s marked with a UKCA logo (UK Conformity Assessed: which replaces the CE Mark) to show it’s been safety and performance tested according to UK standards.
    Recommended.

I’m now using this to charge my laptop AND all of my Apple devices, and it does so very quickly.

The downside is the price – currently 79.99 (Prime), but you get what you pay for and the build quality is head and shoulders above anything else I’ve seen, including Apple’s own charger!

If you want a high powered charger, you won’t be disappointed!

    This is one solid unit!

I’m starting to travel around the UK and I wanted a charger that could handle many of my devices that take USB C (laptop, phone) with one or two normal USB (tablet, smartwatch). I have single chargers but I wanted a simpler solution so I decided to try this charger.
I would think about this charger as a MacBook charger since it can handle a large device but with the added convenience of having multiple ports in a smaller size. I researched other chargers of the size of a MacBook charger with multiple ports but this one was smaller and at a similar price.
This charger looks sleek and works well after trying out the multiple ports. As long as you follow the basic instructions around which ports to use depending on how many devices, then your devices will charge quickly.
During our first trip, the charger was also much more convenient to carry without having multiple chargers.I would recommend especially if you want to use with a laptop that takes USB C and other devices that fit these ports.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWhat is different / special about this charger is

    1. It’s size
    2. The fact that it has two ports that can support 100W together. To clarify it is not 100W each port, but either

    100W to port 1
    65W to port 2 and 30W to port 3
etc etc, there are details of all the combinations in the listing above. Obviously as listed if you use all four ports, the power available to port 1 and 2 will drop.

Note that this charger will ONLY charge your laptop if it is has a USB-C or thunderbolt port and you will need a USB-C to USB-C lead that can handle the wattage you require upto 100W.

UGREEN make decent chargers and there is no sign of noise or excessive heat on this charger. The compactness of the charger is really useful.

Whilst expensive, not expensive if you consider the cost of a 65W laptop charger and say a 20W tablet charger etc, plus it is four ports in one.

The UGREEN 100w charger is an impressive – and small – beast. It comes in a somewhat applesque package – which I suppose is a fair nod at its similarly fruity price tag. It is – hard to say this perhaps about a charger – somewhat attractive in a “means business” sort of way. It is compact – not much bigger than a regular plug but three times as deep – and relatively heavy. As with evermore chargers – it is a GaN device – gallium nitride (I googled it) – allowing for reduced heat during charging and therefore more compact circuitry. Too heavy to carry comfortably in all but a coat pocket (and a tad too large perhaps) – but absolutely no problem in a bag or laptop rucksack. It looks and feels very well made and exudes an air of rugged capability (this might be getting a little Bear Grylls for a simple charger however you get the idea)

For your money you get plenty of charging power – three USB-C sockets and a single USB-A. I’ve happily charged – simultaneously – a Mac Book, kindle, phone and ear pods – no problem. Which, assuming you have the right cabling, makes it a fantastic solution for travel as well as every day use. Getting USB-C cables in and out can be a little tricky if all sockets are in use as access is a little fiddly – but the tradeoff in terms of size and ease of transport more than make up for that.

All in all – this is a fantastic one stop shop for charging a number of devices (cables permitting) – however its one potential issue is price – it’s expensive.

Very pleased with the performance of this Ugreen 100w Charger which weighs approx 270g so feels sturdy and looks well made.

Works perfectly with our Note 20 Ultra mobiles and Tablets and is the first charger we have owned that shows up on our mobiles as ‘superfast charging’. Photos show it against our other 100w charger for size comparison. Got to say that this sits better in the socket without moving due to size or weight. The unit is approx 5.5cm sq and sits 7cm proud from the socket. Even with all the sockets in use it only gets warm not hot like our white one. One of our friends has the newest iphone and it has no problem fast charging that either. Quality for the price and cheaper than our other one.
