I bought this doorbell because I was always away from home and was concerned about not knowing who is coming to my door. It was the best money I ever spent! Now I can view every activity on my door from afar and even answer the doorbell. The video recording is Icing on the cake.
Easy to fit. Took a little while to sync with my phone. Fine once it had. Instructions are not very clear but you can work it out eventually. Notification of motion caught on the camera is a little slow. Overall it works ok for the price I paid for i
Really happy with this doorbell! Installation took minutes, connection to the app the same. Strangely the first 3 doorbell pushes (to test) didn’t alert me on the phone, but had registered on the app the next time I logged in. Tried a bit later and all is good. Picture quality is excellent and so far it seems to be storing recordings on the app and hasn’t asked for me to upgrade. If I choose to upgrade then it’s 30 for the year. All in all, very happy with this doorbell.
I was really happy with this product for a month or so, then one day I came to remove it from the wall and the screw head had worn away. Whether through tampering or weather, I do not know, but ever since then I have a useless dummy camera on the wall.
I was always sure never to tighten it as I was aware something like this could happen but it happened anyway! So, if I ever get the thing off the wall and can charge it, my 4 star review will be a 5 star, because I was very happy with the camera and cloud.
And if anyone reading this can give me some tips how to remove the worn away screw so I can remove the unit from the wall casing, I’ll be very appreciative as the company never responded to me. So, if you can find a better quality tiny screw, do that before using the one that came with the product, in case it wore away due to weather conditions. Because if someone tampered with it, I would have seen them on camera!

This door bell is much more than that, A brilliant purchase, My one slight concern is sometimes there is slight delay in the app opening up and people sometimes moving away from the front door before we see them., although It always picks them up by the time they reach the door.
The sensitivity settings are great too as we live on a main road with only a footpath between the front door and the road, So the low humanoid detection setting is very good for us.
The Audio works really well when speaking through it to visitors, the postman and delivery drivers etc.
While working from home it has made it much easier to communicate with anyone at the Front door.
The volume and chime ringtone with the plug in chime are plentiful and varied.
The Free Three day rolling cloud storage is absolutely sufficient for our needs at this time,
Good to have the subscription cloud services available if required in the future.

Brilliant, works well, yes theres a little buffering at the start but once that clears its great. Caught someone stealing my dead cat in his plant pot. Just a shame police done sod all about it. The talking to someone via the app to doorbell is great too. My kids love talking to their dad through it when hes on the doorstep. Just wish i could find replacement batteries for it so i have a spare set ready for when it needs charging as i cant finf them anywhere not even on amazon like suggested by the seller.
We didn’t always hear the doorbell when we were outside, but now it sounds on our phones so we don’t miss any callers. The motion detection is also very handy as it alerts us when post has been delivered through our letterbox. Setting up the device is reasonably simple if you follow the instructions. It’s as good as anything else out there, so a very good purchase in my view.
Had a ring video door bell which cost more than this product and had to buy a chime separately and it was appalling, just unreliable it got just past the warranty and packed up followed shortly after by the ring doorbell.
I much prefer this doorbell if you want more than the FREE – three day rolling storage simplicity itself to download any clips you wish to keep.
If you wanted you can buy the 30 day option far cheaper than the the ring price.

My only concern is it doesn’t alert on my phone quick enough that few seconds can be someone’s patience other than that, great!
I’m delighted with the video bell. Videos are clear and I have the Aiwit app which informs me every time someone approaches the bell. I haven’t had the opportunity to try the microphone on it. I am very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend
After much research I went with this option for a video doorbell, I work a lot so was often missing deliveries and though my house has cctv, I wanted something I could access while out/at work to keep an eye on things at home.
Pros:
– Free video storage for three days (you can save any videos to your phone if they need to be saved longer) and no subscription charges to use the device like other brands (they do offer these if you want to store your videos for longer on their cloud services but you don’t have to do this to use it and as I said you can save them yourself if needed)
– Easy to set up
– fish eye sort of lens so picks up large are on camera
– good audio quality and great for talking to people through device
– decent battery life (depending on how much it’s used/detects things)
-good camera quality in day and night vision
Cons:
– sometimes fluctuates between overly sensitive and almost missing people. You can play around with the settings in the app and change how far it detects, how sensitive it’s ‘human’ detection is so it doesn’t go off everytime there’s a bird or cat etc. i have done all this, but as I live facing a road that has frequent pedestrians it still goes off a lot in the day with notifications that someone is passing on the other side of the street (a good 30m away) but then sometimes doesn’t tell me the postman is on the drive until he’s leaving.
– need to make sure it’s near your wifi hub or booster to make sure you get good and immediate access to live camera, I have a bay window and my wifi hub is in the bay right by my front door and it still says it only has a ‘fair’ connection most of the time.
Honestly for the money and compared to subscribe-to-use based ones I’m pleased with it overall. I’m sure ring or blink are probably better all round, I have family that use those and they’re great, but I can’t bring myself to spend around 8 a month to use my doorbell! So for now at least I’m happy with this option and would recommend it as an alternative, or even as a ‘first’ video doorbell if you’re looking into if they’d be suitable/worth investment for your home
We bought the doorbell as was going away for a couple of weeks. I’ve got to say, it’s one of the best items we’ve bought on Amazon. It’s really easy to install and set-up using the app. It sends a message when someone is approaching or senses movement. You can then access the app to see who’s at your front door. If you want to, you can then speak to the person via the microphone. It’s been great, as also spooked my parents as they were checking the house on a daily basis. The system also records to days activity in case you missed anything. The picture quality is also brilliant, night and day. For 50, it’s got to be the best value for money out there!
The only real negative is the tiny security screw in the bottom. It’s very fiddly, but I use a magnetic screwdriver, and that helps.
There has been no issues with it not working with weak WiFi, unlike the Ring video doorbell we bought 18 months ago.
The picture quality is very good, as is the recordings.
We did have an issue when it had to be charged up. The battery life was not working properly. I did get in touch with Customer service and was told to remove the batteries for a minute, and recharge. It was perfect after that. So 10 out of 10 for Customer care
Have had this video doorbell for 3 weeks and have been pleased so far. Battery is just under 70% so better than expected. Not sure about other video doorbells but you can only use the app on one phone/tablet at a time.
In all this is a great camera for the price. My one and only slight concern is sometimes there is slight delay in the motion sensor picking up people approaching from the front. It allways picks them up by the time they reach the door though. And sometimes well before. There are plenty of sensitivity settings you can work with and the app is very straight forward. The two way audio is great quality too and only has a 1 second delay which is to be expected from any such device. In all it’s a great camera and will certainly do the job you want it to. Night vision is great quality too and notifications of movement are instant and the app loads directly to a live view of the camera in less than 2 seconds.
I rarely write reviews but clearly this has impressed me enough to push buttons ( as apossed to being awful to warn others). This is a bit of technology I have looked at over the years but refused to pay the silly prices wanted by the market “leaders”. I came upon this item and the reviews were great, a couple mixed. But took a punt as the price was similar to the “high end ” normal doorbell that lasted a year. The quality of this device is superb, the night vision is amazing, the sensor is sensitive but spot on and the ease of use of the app is outstanding; it is easy to charge but best of all its like a security system as it tags and stores all movement it captures, free of charge, to the cloud! Epic quality and a great price!

Purchased the door bell camera. It took 4 or 5 attempts to get it working properly. The instructions could have had more detail. Once it was up and running I noticed that it did not record at night even though all the settings were correct. I returned it and bought another one. Amazon were very good and I had a replacement the next day. I installed it quicker than the first one have a bit of experience from the first one. So far all is working as it should. The only criticism is that the alerts for someone ringing the door bell is quite slow. By the time I get my phone out and onto the app the person would have gone. The videos from the motion detection are good. Pity it doesn’t have a separate battery charger so a second set of batteries could be used.
Other than all that it is not a bad camera for the money.
It’s good to find out who came by in front of my house. I was never able to answer any doorbells remotely though. When I finally able to answer or see who’s in front of my house, they already left because I couldn’t answer fast enough.
Installed using included sticky pad with no issues. although the tiny scrub is going to get lost as very soon we expect – but we received two sets of mounting screws (only 1 pad), both of which included the grub screw, so at least e have a spare! We might go and buy some more while we handy.
Even with sensitivity turned down to minimum and human form recognition turned to max there are still several motion alerts during the day, many of which are false alarms. We have turned motion alerts off!
Video quality is fine and it has linked to our Wi-Fi with no issues once 5GHz turned off. We’ve not noticed any issues with uploading videos to the cloud – the 3 days included free should be plenty in the event.
It’s been installed nearly 2 weeks now, and the battery is down to 61% so it is expected to last maybe 5 weeks. We have bought a third party set of batteries (and charger) so we can swap them out without having to be without a doorbell for 14 hours while it charges them!
We have shared the app to a second phone – that was straightforward using a QR code.
Really happy with this doorbell, had one previous from different brand and it kept falling off. This one is so stable and the quality is perfect. It also saves to the cloud rather than requiring a micro card like the previous one. Easy to use.

Having moved here from a distant area, we kept Amazon hopping with constant deliveries and the motion detection and video was extremely helpful being a person with a mobility disability so I knew it was a safe visitor and I had time to get up to the door.
WE adjusted the volume to LOUD and we could hear everywhere. When settled we’ll turn it to lower volume.

Easy to set up and use. Quality of the camera is crystal clear and no echo when you speak through it. Definitely a purchase worth every penny and better than other leading brands on the market from experience.
We have wanted a camera doorbell for a while for security mostly but weren’t sure what to go with. I came across this doorbell and the price was very reasonable and the reviews looked good so we gave it a go. It was really easy to install, feels very secure on the wall outside and works really well during the day and on an evening. The speaker that plugs into the house is helpful so that if one of us isn’t with our phone we can still hear if someone is at the door ringing the bell. The camera is really good and the quality is great. We get a good view of the street outside our house which gives us a view of our cars too so if anything were to happen it would be caught on video. The sound works well when speaking through it to delivery drivers etc and has made it much easier to go out and communicate with anyone at the door during that time. I would definitely recommend this doorbell to anyone who is looking for the added security for their house and the convenience of being able to be out during the day and know what is going on. Very good buy.

Good video doorbell in the sense of video quality but when there is motion at your door there is a delay in the notification to your phone and etc. Originally wanted the video doorbell cause my son has a house key now and I wanted to be able to make sure he gets in okay and that he locks the door but by the time I get the notification, he’s already in the house and it’s too late to speak to him through the doorbell to remind him to take his keys out of the door and etc Wish I just spend the extra money to get the ring doorbell.
I liked that it’s so clear & sum times let’s me no if someone s in my garden b4 they get to front door. Night vision is a clear picture even tho black & white. Door charm can be as loud as u need it. Mine is in hall way & can hear it all over the house.if I was to say anything is a down fall with this doorcamera is. U have to b on the app all the time for it to ring on yr. Phone..

Not easy to set up but once done, really good. Very neat looking at the front door. It picks up every movement and supplies an instant video on my phone. Inside chime only heard in that room so would like it louder. Would like my phone to ring when someone presses the bell. Maybe that can be sorted. However, I do recommend it..
Really good for the price paid. Doesn’t seem to detect all motion so I might move it down slightly. I’m not sure if the settings can change so it records more than 20 seconds at a time. Night vision is brilliant.
Overall really happy with this product. Charges via USB easily and no subscription charges.
This unit is very easy to set up and the app is good too. The only thing I had concerns about initially was the battery life but after a few tweaks it is much better now.
The camera was picking up my neighbours tree (which does look like a person) and sending the “humanoid” videos about every 2 minutes !! Once I changed the settings it was fine.
This is my first door bell but I must say I am impressed. I’ve only charged it once when I unpacked it and it’s going 3 weeks battery is at 70%. Good night vision and adjustable motion detector. If you follow the instructions in the box, you’ll enjoy your door

To my surprise it’s actually very good picture quality is very good.
Only have to charge the battery about every two weeks depending on usage.
Would be a good idea to have a second battery as it would save down time of the camera.
But all in all I’m very happy with my purchase would recommend as a cheaper alternative.

Good picture and the door chime that comes with it is handy for when I’m in the garden. The only problem I found is the motion detection is far too sensitive and my battery life was going down gast so I turned it off and just use it for the doorbell

Easy to download the app but took a couple of minutes to work out where different functions were but sorted now.
Picture quality is good and so is the cloud storage. Reasonable price for extra storage space on the cloud.
Good customer service sent text straight away asking if everything was OK and contact details if I needed help.
Would suggest set up on a day you are at home as I put the wrong distance setting on and had 120 notifications and saw a lot of people walking their dogs.
I decided to try this as it was much cheaper than a Ring doorbell so was not sure how good it would be. I’m glad I did as it’s a superb item. The picture quality is great and the night vision camera works a treat, very clear and well lit up. It comes with screws and wall plugs for permanent fixing but also has a very strong adhesive pad which you can use to mount it. I used the adhesive pad and it’s stuck on very secure and would of be very hard for someone to pull off. It’s very easy to set up and connected immediately to my WiFi box with is through 2 solid walls and about 4 meters away. Best of all in my opinion is the free 3 day cloud recording service which you can download at any time if you want a specific recording. The motion detection works very well and picks up people walking past my car which is about 4 meters away from the doorbell itself but this can be adjusted to your requirements. The chime works great and has about 40 different themes – I chose “Memories” from the Cats musical lol. The app is well laid out and easy to use as well. So glad I bought this and saved myself a lot of money and recommend it highly.

Bought this for family members who now need extra support and care. It was an easy set up for us who aren’t tech savvy. So far so good, although time from motion to the notification can be a little slow so I don’t always catch who it is but can watch it on playback. Haven’t used night vision yet (probably a good thing)
Very happy with this item, easy app and plug in doorbell setup. I live in an apartment and have video entry to the main building, however, wanted this for my own front door for added security and so that I can see when delivery people leave parcels etc. Also useful to hear doorbell if rung, as I often can’t hear knocking if I’m in the living room with tv on. Good quality video, slight lag before it starts capturing, but fine for what I need. I have set the motion detection to 5m, which works fine for what I need it to do and the battery seems to last for weeks and weeks before recharging. Glad I opted for this product against others, as it doesn’t involve having to sign up to additional charges as some more well known video doorbells do. Excellent value for money.
I find it’s great for it’s money, sometimes it lags a wee bit, But I think it’s my internet that’s the problem, easy to set up, and even easier to put up, hope this helps you.
I wasn’t expecting brilliant viewing compared to other doorbell cameras based on its price but wow! It’s brilliant. It’s easy to set up, it works as it should. Very clear footage. I would recommend this but the battery life is iffy, doesn’t last very long, I have turned down motion detection to see if it helps. Other than that it’s bob on and definitely worth a try!
I use it more to see who’s at the door when the chime rings. The chime is great, nice and loud so can hear it anywhere in the house. It can be slow with notifications but not all the time. From what I’ve read it’s the same with the expensive ones. Overall very Happy
We bought this model as we had read some reviews on it and it seemed like a good alternative to leading brands. We aren’t disappointed so far, was easy to install and set up on on phones. Once I adjusted the settings on the motion detection, we have just about got it set up so how we like it. The picture quality is clear and the night vision is good. I like the function of answering the doorbell and talking with the person, so if you have a parcel you can ask them to leave it somewhere or take it to a neighbour. Hopefully the battery life will be as good as described, seems to be holding out well so far. I’ve just ordered my mum one as well!!
I like the fact that you can recharge the camera and it does not need mains connection. The battery power is limited when set to highest monitoring, on the settings I have it we are charging every 3 to 4 weeks.
The retaining screw is very small and it can be easily lost when taking the camera off its cradle for charging, I have started to use a little bit of blue tac to hold tbe screw on the driver, as I have lost one screw of the 2 sullied.
The image quality is good, notification are a bit hit and miss but that may be down to the settings and my phone… All in all a good peice of kit.

Battery holds up well, as long as settings are not all the way up re. motion detection. Free limited cloud storage is a nice bonus. Glaring lights make the picture a little less clear at night.
This door bell is very useful, I used to always be worried about not being able to see who was ringing at my door but now with this door bell life has become much easier, I can easily and quickly see who is at my door.

Good value but the battery life is around 7 to 10 days.
The other issue is that the securing screw is minute and if it is dropped it is lost. Needs a 2 man operation to change so that a tupperware box is held underneath so as not to lose the screw fixing.

Product works well although is laggy from when someone presses the doorbell. This may be because of the distance between the doorbell and the router.

It was all fairly straight forward from opening the box, charging the batteries up and fixing it up on the wall outside. Clearly you need to spend a bit of time deciding on what setting you are happy with the get the best out of it. The batteries did run down quickly on the first week because it was going off a lot so since I recharged them and have altered the sensitivity it is going off less often and the batteries are not draining as quick. There is a charge if you want to store in the Cloud however you can save enough clips on your phone to cover any concerns you may have. I do think they are a deterrent to anyone looking to steal you car off the drive so well worth the cost.
I was initially dubious about getting a “cheaper” doorbell but I had nothing to worry about!
This doorbell works perfectly. The door bell sounds on the remote ringer and on my phone so I no longer miss someone ringing the doorbell.
The battery life is great too, I only charge it once a month.

The only concern is the is the battery life. Well it takes an average of 10 days when it is fully charged but how long will it hold up when away from home for over a longer period?

Bought as a gift as I have a Ring doorbell quite impressed with this as you get everything needed in the box including internal bell and no subscription required unlike Ring.
Only downside is you have to turn notifications off when windy as triggered due to over sensitivity

Battery lasts about a month. Wifi connectivity was poor initially and therefore slow to view images on the app. Have since added a node to my mesh network so working fine.
Great to see who’s been knocking at your door throughout the day when you are out. Very handy if you are out when you are expecting a parcel as you can talk through the doorbell when the parcel man arrives.
This is a good device, the batteries last a few days for wireless, take a while to charge but can buy extra batteries and charge the spares to exchange.

Easy to install and does a decent job for a fraction of the price of some other ring style door bells. Battery usage seems OK so far but really depends on how much the sensor goes off. Overall recommended!

The camera on this model is better quality both during the day and at night.
The camera now has humanoid detection which is a good feature.
The unit itself is a nice grey colour and because it’s smaller than the previous model it can be mounted on the door frame, the previous model was too wide to do that.
I’d highly recommend this to anyone who wants a doorbell camera.
Good for the price, I would only get this if you have a strong internet connection. Picture quality is good, as is the night vision, motion capture seems to be a little late, as anyone that walks past is already half way across the camera before they’re picked up.

So I have had the door bell just over a week now and the following is what I have observed. The Picture quality is superb both during the day and night operation. Motion detection is good too. As other reviews have mentioned after a full charge the battery shows only 70/75% charged but has not as of yet gone below 60% and strange as it seems it will go back up to 68% after a day operation.
If there is a one thing that concerns me and that is the small grub screw that secures the unit to the base. I’m sure it’s going to get lost at some point. The kit came with a spare screw but I don’t think it will survive for a long time. So bearing in mind it’s only been operational a short time I am quite happy with my new door bell.
Extra to this I have gone on holiday for a few days and recharged the batteries before going and the state of charge is good. Got a full 100% charge and it’s only gone down to 98%. So very happy with this.

Easy to fit. Took a little while to sync with my phone. Fine once it had. Instructions are not very clear but you can work it out eventually. Notification of motion caught on the camera is a little slow. Overall it works ok for the price I paid for i

When someone rings it it dosent always send a notification especially if your phone is locked.
Needs very very good Wi-Fi otherwise it goes all over the place so if you have weak ish Wi-Fi this Isn’t going to work for you.
Camera looks pretty good and the motion detection works great, you can customise the distance you want it to pick up.
Came with a very sticky wall mount wouldn’t move so great option if you don’t want to drill in.
Overall a very good product just the app itself needs some work.
Really happy with this doorbell! Installation took minutes, connection to the app the same. Strangely the first 3 doorbell pushes (to test) didn’t alert me on the phone, but had registered on the app the next time I logged in. Tried a bit later and all is good. Picture quality is excellent and so far it seems to be storing recordings on the app and hasn’t asked for me to upgrade. If I choose to upgrade then it’s 30 for the year. All in all, very happy with this doorbell.
I was always sure never to tighten it as I was aware something like this could happen but it happened anyway! So, if I ever get the thing off the wall and can charge it, my 4 star review will be a 5 star, because I was very happy with the camera and cloud.
And if anyone reading this can give me some tips how to remove the worn away screw so I can remove the unit from the wall casing, I’ll be very appreciative as the company never responded to me. So, if you can find a better quality tiny screw, do that before using the one that came with the product, in case it wore away due to weather conditions. Because if someone tampered with it, I would have seen them on camera!

This door bell is much more than that, A brilliant purchase, My one slight concern is sometimes there is slight delay in the app opening up and people sometimes moving away from the front door before we see them., although It always picks them up by the time they reach the door.
The sensitivity settings are great too as we live on a main road with only a footpath between the front door and the road, So the low humanoid detection setting is very good for us.
The Audio works really well when speaking through it to visitors, the postman and delivery drivers etc.
While working from home it has made it much easier to communicate with anyone at the Front door.
The volume and chime ringtone with the plug in chime are plentiful and varied.
The Free Three day rolling cloud storage is absolutely sufficient for our needs at this time,
Good to have the subscription cloud services available if required in the future.

Brilliant, works well, yes theres a little buffering at the start but once that clears its great. Caught someone stealing my dead cat in his plant pot. Just a shame police done sod all about it. The talking to someone via the app to doorbell is great too. My kids love talking to their dad through it when hes on the doorstep. Just wish i could find replacement batteries for it so i have a spare set ready for when it needs charging as i cant finf them anywhere not even on amazon like suggested by the seller.
We didn’t always hear the doorbell when we were outside, but now it sounds on our phones so we don’t miss any callers. The motion detection is also very handy as it alerts us when post has been delivered through our letterbox. Setting up the device is reasonably simple if you follow the instructions. It’s as good as anything else out there, so a very good purchase in my view.
Had a ring video door bell which cost more than this product and had to buy a chime separately and it was appalling, just unreliable it got just past the warranty and packed up followed shortly after by the ring doorbell.
I much prefer this doorbell if you want more than the FREE – three day rolling storage simplicity itself to download any clips you wish to keep.
If you wanted you can buy the 30 day option far cheaper than the the ring price.

I’m delighted with the video bell. Videos are clear and I have the Aiwit app which informs me every time someone approaches the bell. I haven’t had the opportunity to try the microphone on it. I am very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend
After much research I went with this option for a video doorbell, I work a lot so was often missing deliveries and though my house has cctv, I wanted something I could access while out/at work to keep an eye on things at home.
Pros:
– Free video storage for three days (you can save any videos to your phone if they need to be saved longer) and no subscription charges to use the device like other brands (they do offer these if you want to store your videos for longer on their cloud services but you don’t have to do this to use it and as I said you can save them yourself if needed)
– Easy to set up
– fish eye sort of lens so picks up large are on camera
– good audio quality and great for talking to people through device
– decent battery life (depending on how much it’s used/detects things)
-good camera quality in day and night vision
Cons:
– sometimes fluctuates between overly sensitive and almost missing people. You can play around with the settings in the app and change how far it detects, how sensitive it’s ‘human’ detection is so it doesn’t go off everytime there’s a bird or cat etc. i have done all this, but as I live facing a road that has frequent pedestrians it still goes off a lot in the day with notifications that someone is passing on the other side of the street (a good 30m away) but then sometimes doesn’t tell me the postman is on the drive until he’s leaving.
– need to make sure it’s near your wifi hub or booster to make sure you get good and immediate access to live camera, I have a bay window and my wifi hub is in the bay right by my front door and it still says it only has a ‘fair’ connection most of the time.
Honestly for the money and compared to subscribe-to-use based ones I’m pleased with it overall. I’m sure ring or blink are probably better all round, I have family that use those and they’re great, but I can’t bring myself to spend around 8 a month to use my doorbell! So for now at least I’m happy with this option and would recommend it as an alternative, or even as a ‘first’ video doorbell if you’re looking into if they’d be suitable/worth investment for your home

We bought the doorbell as was going away for a couple of weeks. I’ve got to say, it’s one of the best items we’ve bought on Amazon. It’s really easy to install and set-up using the app. It sends a message when someone is approaching or senses movement. You can then access the app to see who’s at your front door. If you want to, you can then speak to the person via the microphone. It’s been great, as also spooked my parents as they were checking the house on a daily basis. The system also records to days activity in case you missed anything. The picture quality is also brilliant, night and day. For 50, it’s got to be the best value for money out there!
There has been no issues with it not working with weak WiFi, unlike the Ring video doorbell we bought 18 months ago.
The picture quality is very good, as is the recordings.
We did have an issue when it had to be charged up. The battery life was not working properly. I did get in touch with Customer service and was told to remove the batteries for a minute, and recharge. It was perfect after that. So 10 out of 10 for Customer care
Have had this video doorbell for 3 weeks and have been pleased so far. Battery is just under 70% so better than expected. Not sure about other video doorbells but you can only use the app on one phone/tablet at a time.
In all this is a great camera for the price. My one and only slight concern is sometimes there is slight delay in the motion sensor picking up people approaching from the front. It allways picks them up by the time they reach the door though. And sometimes well before. There are plenty of sensitivity settings you can work with and the app is very straight forward. The two way audio is great quality too and only has a 1 second delay which is to be expected from any such device. In all it’s a great camera and will certainly do the job you want it to. Night vision is great quality too and notifications of movement are instant and the app loads directly to a live view of the camera in less than 2 seconds.
I rarely write reviews but clearly this has impressed me enough to push buttons ( as apossed to being awful to warn others). This is a bit of technology I have looked at over the years but refused to pay the silly prices wanted by the market “leaders”. I came upon this item and the reviews were great, a couple mixed. But took a punt as the price was similar to the “high end ” normal doorbell that lasted a year. The quality of this device is superb, the night vision is amazing, the sensor is sensitive but spot on and the ease of use of the app is outstanding; it is easy to charge but best of all its like a security system as it tags and stores all movement it captures, free of charge, to the cloud! Epic quality and a great price!

Purchased the door bell camera. It took 4 or 5 attempts to get it working properly. The instructions could have had more detail. Once it was up and running I noticed that it did not record at night even though all the settings were correct. I returned it and bought another one. Amazon were very good and I had a replacement the next day. I installed it quicker than the first one have a bit of experience from the first one. So far all is working as it should. The only criticism is that the alerts for someone ringing the door bell is quite slow. By the time I get my phone out and onto the app the person would have gone. The videos from the motion detection are good. Pity it doesn’t have a separate battery charger so a second set of batteries could be used.
Other than all that it is not a bad camera for the money.
It’s good to find out who came by in front of my house. I was never able to answer any doorbells remotely though. When I finally able to answer or see who’s in front of my house, they already left because I couldn’t answer fast enough.
Installed using included sticky pad with no issues. although the tiny scrub is going to get lost as very soon we expect – but we received two sets of mounting screws (only 1 pad), both of which included the grub screw, so at least e have a spare! We might go and buy some more while we handy.
Even with sensitivity turned down to minimum and human form recognition turned to max there are still several motion alerts during the day, many of which are false alarms. We have turned motion alerts off!
Video quality is fine and it has linked to our Wi-Fi with no issues once 5GHz turned off. We’ve not noticed any issues with uploading videos to the cloud – the 3 days included free should be plenty in the event.
It’s been installed nearly 2 weeks now, and the battery is down to 61% so it is expected to last maybe 5 weeks. We have bought a third party set of batteries (and charger) so we can swap them out without having to be without a doorbell for 14 hours while it charges them!
We have shared the app to a second phone – that was straightforward using a QR code.
Really happy with this doorbell, had one previous from different brand and it kept falling off. This one is so stable and the quality is perfect. It also saves to the cloud rather than requiring a micro card like the previous one. Easy to use.

Having moved here from a distant area, we kept Amazon hopping with constant deliveries and the motion detection and video was extremely helpful being a person with a mobility disability so I knew it was a safe visitor and I had time to get up to the door.
WE adjusted the volume to LOUD and we could hear everywhere. When settled we’ll turn it to lower volume.
I needed some advice on one or two occasions & the reply was immediate. The service, I found outstanding. I’m so pleased I decided on this one. A little money for a big result. Thanks to everyone in the making of this little gem!
Easy to set up and use. Quality of the camera is crystal clear and no echo when you speak through it. Definitely a purchase worth every penny and better than other leading brands on the market from experience.
We have wanted a camera doorbell for a while for security mostly but weren’t sure what to go with. I came across this doorbell and the price was very reasonable and the reviews looked good so we gave it a go. It was really easy to install, feels very secure on the wall outside and works really well during the day and on an evening. The speaker that plugs into the house is helpful so that if one of us isn’t with our phone we can still hear if someone is at the door ringing the bell. The camera is really good and the quality is great. We get a good view of the street outside our house which gives us a view of our cars too so if anything were to happen it would be caught on video. The sound works well when speaking through it to delivery drivers etc and has made it much easier to go out and communicate with anyone at the door during that time. I would definitely recommend this doorbell to anyone who is looking for the added security for their house and the convenience of being able to be out during the day and know what is going on. Very good buy.

Good video doorbell in the sense of video quality but when there is motion at your door there is a delay in the notification to your phone and etc. Originally wanted the video doorbell cause my son has a house key now and I wanted to be able to make sure he gets in okay and that he locks the door but by the time I get the notification, he’s already in the house and it’s too late to speak to him through the doorbell to remind him to take his keys out of the door and etc Wish I just spend the extra money to get the ring doorbell.
I liked that it’s so clear & sum times let’s me no if someone s in my garden b4 they get to front door. Night vision is a clear picture even tho black & white. Door charm can be as loud as u need it. Mine is in hall way & can hear it all over the house.if I was to say anything is a down fall with this doorcamera is. U have to b on the app all the time for it to ring on yr. Phone..

Not easy to set up but once done, really good. Very neat looking at the front door. It picks up every movement and supplies an instant video on my phone. Inside chime only heard in that room so would like it louder. Would like my phone to ring when someone presses the bell. Maybe that can be sorted. However, I do recommend it..
Really good for the price paid. Doesn’t seem to detect all motion so I might move it down slightly. I’m not sure if the settings can change so it records more than 20 seconds at a time. Night vision is brilliant.
Overall really happy with this product. Charges via USB easily and no subscription charges.
This unit is very easy to set up and the app is good too. The only thing I had concerns about initially was the battery life but after a few tweaks it is much better now.
The camera was picking up my neighbours tree (which does look like a person) and sending the “humanoid” videos about every 2 minutes !! Once I changed the settings it was fine.
This is my first door bell but I must say I am impressed. I’ve only charged it once when I unpacked it and it’s going 3 weeks battery is at 70%. Good night vision and adjustable motion detector. If you follow the instructions in the box, you’ll enjoy your door

I brought this as a slight cheaper option to the most poplar one.
To my surprise it’s actually very good picture quality is very good.
Only have to charge the battery about every two weeks depending on usage.
Would be a good idea to have a second battery as it would save down time of the camera.
But all in all I’m very happy with my purchase would recommend as a cheaper alternative.

Good picture and the door chime that comes with it is handy for when I’m in the garden. The only problem I found is the motion detection is far too sensitive and my battery life was going down gast so I turned it off and just use it for the doorbell
Bought this door bell as often missed callers also added bonus was the safety aspect.
Easy to download the app but took a couple of minutes to work out where different functions were but sorted now.
Picture quality is good and so is the cloud storage. Reasonable price for extra storage space on the cloud.
Good customer service sent text straight away asking if everything was OK and contact details if I needed help.
Would suggest set up on a day you are at home as I put the wrong distance setting on and had 120 notifications and saw a lot of people walking their dogs.
Honestly I took a gamble as I was looking for a ring camera and it’s amazing. So easy to fit and have seen my neighbours up to some weird stuff lol! Would recommend to everyone

Bought this for family members who now need extra support and care. It was an easy set up for us who aren’t tech savvy. So far so good, although time from motion to the notification can be a little slow so I don’t always catch who it is but can watch it on playback. Haven’t used night vision yet (probably a good thing)
Very happy with this item, easy app and plug in doorbell setup. I live in an apartment and have video entry to the main building, however, wanted this for my own front door for added security and so that I can see when delivery people leave parcels etc. Also useful to hear doorbell if rung, as I often can’t hear knocking if I’m in the living room with tv on. Good quality video, slight lag before it starts capturing, but fine for what I need. I have set the motion detection to 5m, which works fine for what I need it to do and the battery seems to last for weeks and weeks before recharging. Glad I opted for this product against others, as it doesn’t involve having to sign up to additional charges as some more well known video doorbells do. Excellent value for money.

I wasn’t expecting brilliant viewing compared to other doorbell cameras based on its price but wow! It’s brilliant. It’s easy to set up, it works as it should. Very clear footage. I would recommend this but the battery life is iffy, doesn’t last very long, I have turned down motion detection to see if it helps. Other than that it’s bob on and definitely worth a try!
I use it more to see who’s at the door when the chime rings. The chime is great, nice and loud so can hear it anywhere in the house. It can be slow with notifications but not all the time. From what I’ve read it’s the same with the expensive ones. Overall very Happy
We bought this model as we had read some reviews on it and it seemed like a good alternative to leading brands. We aren’t disappointed so far, was easy to install and set up on on phones. Once I adjusted the settings on the motion detection, we have just about got it set up so how we like it. The picture quality is clear and the night vision is good. I like the function of answering the doorbell and talking with the person, so if you have a parcel you can ask them to leave it somewhere or take it to a neighbour. Hopefully the battery life will be as good as described, seems to be holding out well so far. I’ve just ordered my mum one as well!!
I like the fact that you can recharge the camera and it does not need mains connection. The battery power is limited when set to highest monitoring, on the settings I have it we are charging every 3 to 4 weeks.
The retaining screw is very small and it can be easily lost when taking the camera off its cradle for charging, I have started to use a little bit of blue tac to hold tbe screw on the driver, as I have lost one screw of the 2 sullied.
The image quality is good, notification are a bit hit and miss but that may be down to the settings and my phone… All in all a good peice of kit.
I’m a 54 year old woman and not good with tecnology. My sons live away and i expected i might have to call one for help, but……..no, i managed it myself in 20 minutes. Excellent product.

Battery holds up well, as long as settings are not all the way up re. motion detection. Free limited cloud storage is a nice bonus. Glaring lights make the picture a little less clear at night.
This door bell is very useful, I used to always be worried about not being able to see who was ringing at my door but now with this door bell life has become much easier, I can easily and quickly see who is at my door.

Good value but the battery life is around 7 to 10 days.
The other issue is that the securing screw is minute and if it is dropped it is lost. Needs a 2 man operation to change so that a tupperware box is held underneath so as not to lose the screw fixing.

Product works well although is laggy from when someone presses the doorbell. This may be because of the distance between the doorbell and the router.

It was all fairly straight forward from opening the box, charging the batteries up and fixing it up on the wall outside. Clearly you need to spend a bit of time deciding on what setting you are happy with the get the best out of it. The batteries did run down quickly on the first week because it was going off a lot so since I recharged them and have altered the sensitivity it is going off less often and the batteries are not draining as quick. There is a charge if you want to store in the Cloud however you can save enough clips on your phone to cover any concerns you may have. I do think they are a deterrent to anyone looking to steal you car off the drive so well worth the cost.
I was initially dubious about getting a “cheaper” doorbell but I had nothing to worry about!
This doorbell works perfectly. The door bell sounds on the remote ringer and on my phone so I no longer miss someone ringing the doorbell.
The battery life is great too, I only charge it once a month.

Bought as a gift as I have a Ring doorbell quite impressed with this as you get everything needed in the box including internal bell and no subscription required unlike Ring.
Only downside is you have to turn notifications off when windy as triggered due to over sensitivity

Battery lasts about a month. Wifi connectivity was poor initially and therefore slow to view images on the app. Have since added a node to my mesh network so working fine.

Great to see who’s been knocking at your door throughout the day when you are out. Very handy if you are out when you are expecting a parcel as you can talk through the doorbell when the parcel man arrives.
This is a good device, the batteries last a few days for wireless, take a while to charge but can buy extra batteries and charge the spares to exchange.

Easy to install and does a decent job for a fraction of the price of some other ring style door bells. Battery usage seems OK so far but really depends on how much the sensor goes off. Overall recommended!

The camera on this model is better quality both during the day and at night.
The camera now has humanoid detection which is a good feature.
The unit itself is a nice grey colour and because it’s smaller than the previous model it can be mounted on the door frame, the previous model was too wide to do that.
I’d highly recommend this to anyone who wants a doorbell camera.

Good for the price, I would only get this if you have a strong internet connection. Picture quality is good, as is the night vision, motion capture seems to be a little late, as anyone that walks past is already half way across the camera before they’re picked up.

So I have had the door bell just over a week now and the following is what I have observed. The Picture quality is superb both during the day and night operation. Motion detection is good too. As other reviews have mentioned after a full charge the battery shows only 70/75% charged but has not as of yet gone below 60% and strange as it seems it will go back up to 68% after a day operation.
If there is a one thing that concerns me and that is the small grub screw that secures the unit to the base. I’m sure it’s going to get lost at some point. The kit came with a spare screw but I don’t think it will survive for a long time. So bearing in mind it’s only been operational a short time I am quite happy with my new door bell.
Extra to this I have gone on holiday for a few days and recharged the batteries before going and the state of charge is good. Got a full 100% charge and it’s only gone down to 98%. So very happy with this.
Much cheaper than other popular brands. High quality video and audio. Motion detection is fantastic. 2 way talk function works perfect. Free video storage and able to download videos. You have to charge the battery mine lasted a month before I need to recharge.

Sharp and clear video images. I found it easy to install and easy to operate from my iPhone. The video image can also be retained in ‘Photos’ if required.
I use these on every door and they work very well great pictures and fast easy set up can’t fault them
