These worked perfectly. I had bought them to be able to use the Thunderbolt ports on my Mac Mini M1 – but it turns out, they also function just as well as regular USB-C connectors – so it was a win-win situation. I guess Apple just use “thunderbolt” as a fancy word to mean USB-C. You get a pair of these in a lovely small box with a sponge tray. They have a nice quality feel to them too. Great price.

Works well and is nicely designed and made by the look of it. But they won’t work if your phone has a case, the USBC male plug is too short. It works fine if you take your phone case off – but it’s a bit of a hassle. How many people don’t use a phone case of some sort? It would have been nice to have this info in the description so that an informed choice could be made. Nice, but falls short.

Well made and feel premium
Important information first. If you have bought these to use with a MacBook Air M2 you will not be able to use them both at the same time. The usb C ports on the Mac are too close together to accommodate both adapters at the same time. That is one of those things, Apple engineers decided on the placement of the ports, and the designers of these adapters made them ergonomic and robust for repeated use. They are robust and they are well made, and they are a steal at this price. I highly recommend them, but just be aware of the issue with the MacBook Air M2
Just what I needed
Bought this for my Ford Puma ST X which has in it’s centre column a USB C . It works a treat and I can now listen to music via the flash drive.
Essential for MacBooks
I’ve had these for 9 months now and can recommend them. Hardwearing, a good colour match, blending almost perfectly with the laptop casing. Basically, now Apple have done away with USB ports on their devices, these are essential if you want to connect to any kind of usb hardware to the laptop. I just keep one attached at all times and pretty much forget that it’s not part of the machine. Great price too. Recommend.
An absolute necessity for new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro computers
The world uses USB memory sticks for everything from marketing freebies to highly sensitive document and code storage. Nearly all these use USB-A plugs which are being replaced by USB-C sockets. These adaptors are the answer. They will not make the USB-A sticks perform faster (that is a restriction on the memory stick itself) but it will permit their continued use.
Would have been 5 Stars except for one small flaw… I can’t use both in my MacBook Pro (2022) at the same time as they are too wide to allow both to fit… real shame , but now I have a spare.

Its not made of cheap plastic, it does not have a cheap feel.

Works as expected but Handle with Care!
Worked fine as adaptor for playing music media from a USB stick in my electric car. Handle with care, I dropped the stick with adapter onto driveway and completely mashed the delicate USB C connector. Lucky there were two in the pack.

These adaptors are great, if, like me you have peripherals with usb A or B ( external hard drive, super drive, etc.).
Bought because the ‘Anker’ ‘Power Expand 8 in 2 USB C Media Hub’ does not allow the mbpros’ power lead to be used with its power lead in.
Very frustrating!
However these well made and approved adaptors are a brilliant alternative.

Just what I wanted
This is just what I needed to be able to print from my tablet. I could plug the USB printer cable into the adapter then connect to my tablet. It also works as an extra adapter for a USB port for my laptop if I want to transfer items from 2 old USB connections. Seems good value for money as I got 2 in a pack.
Works well but would be nice if there was a right angled versio
I bought two of these to allow normal USB charger leads to plug in to my Tesla model 3. They do the job, but stick out. They seem vulnerable to being bent when putting things in the console storage, or even being kicked by rear passengers. You can’t really blame the product for that though! Still, it would be good if they did a right angled version that didn’t protrude so much.

The adapters work well, are easy to travel with the new MacBook Air and the Midnight Blue colour matches the colour of the computer very well. (The Black ones are cheaper!) The two ports on the MacBook are too close together to take two adapters but that is an Apple issue – it’s good to have a spare and the mount within the box is useful for carrying them around.

Cheap quick solution for USB to USB C peripherals
Using on Mac Studio, tried various USB C cables but they didn’t work, bought these, plug into USB C port on Mac, plug in USB A peripheral, worked no problem, even with a hub. Worth every penny.

I used this in the car so I could listen to music from a USB memory stick. First stick I tried wouldn’t fit (the metal sleeve is too fat) second did and worked. So quite good.

Cheap USB adapters, work well
As we seem to need an ever increasing range of USB adapters these convert from usb A male to usb C male and allow full size older memory sticks to work with tablets and laptops. The data transfer with these is good and they are decently priced. Quality looks reasonable but they are small and easy to lose.

Ive had several multi port adaptors but they always stop working due to movement while working. This appears to resolve that. Really impressed so far.

WATCHOUT: For Mac users, you will not be able to put 2 of them next to each other. Works fine if you have a dock tho.
Also, making a chain of USBA -> USBC -> USBA will not work for some reason. Don’t ask why I needed this 🙂
Tight fit!
Good price but slight worry that they fit very tight in my laptop’s ports. Need to wiggle them rather gingerly in and out again. Hopefully they won’t damage the laptop motherboard

I bought these about a month ago but have only just started using them (having finally set up my new MacBook). I initially thought that there was a problem as I could not get them past half-way in. Their customer services were fantastic. Despite the fact that I was beyond the 30-day period they offered to first troubleshoot (and if that didn’t work) refund/replace. Apparently, you do have to press quite hard to get them to connect (certainly harder than I have to for other USB-Cs). I was a little reticent to press any harder given it’s a new computer, but they do in fact connect once you give them a little more push and seem to work well. The adapters themselves are nice and weighty (they have a substantial feel which makes me think they’ll be pretty hardy). They’re slightly darker than the Space Grey of my laptop, but only negligibly so.
tl;dr Fantastic customer service, fast responses and helpful. Stylish looking adapter that feels like a quality build. Works well.

Great product BUT, check how close together your ports are on your PC/Laptop
Great quality and build but I have a problem: I bought the 2 pack of them, one to go in each thunderbolt port on my laptop, and as you can see on the photo ive uploaded, because the ports on my laptop are so close together, I can only fit in 1 of the connectors. This is specific to my laptop obviously, so just check if you are buying 2 to go in 2 ports close together, they both wont fit!
So unfortunately they will have no use to me because I need an adapter that converts the 2 ports or more ideally a hub which uses just one port but has multiple female USB for my older devices.
Thought this would be useful to some before buying. Other than that the adapters work great and should do for most people!

I got a new Apple Mac and for reasons best known to them they incorporate USB “C” connections, not USB “A” which is on just about EVERY connectable device
The result, I need to convert A to C for my printers as examples and there are lots of them.
The external HDD connection cable with “C” end is 26 at cheapest.
This gidgit changed A to C for a couple of pounds.
The very expensive alternative was C ended cables for all my various equipment but these converters can be left on the most used and a spare changed from cable to cable if needed.
DOES THE JOB REQUIRED and saved me quite a lot of expense.

Does what I needed it to do
If anyone is having issues connecting their ps4 camera to their ps5 with the adapter if the usb ports have gone in the back of it then this is what you need. Plugged this into the front of the ps5, then plugged the adaptor into it. All works fine now.
