Bought so I could set a part alarm from upstairs and as a panic station – once I’d figured out how to pair it to my wireless Yale alarm it works perfectly – but do make sure you read the instructions from your alarm system or watch a video on youtube

A great little item that is very easy to program in. Our system is HSA 6400 & it works fine.
Great for using the Yale alarm in outbuildings – allows you to have PIR’s and Door Sensors in nearby buildings and still be able to set & unset the alarm on entry. Just make sure the sensors are programmed for Entry / Exit delay.

Simply pair the keypad (Google how to do it, but it should say so in your main instructions) with your system and then operate as follows:
ARM – just press arm
DISARM – press disarm followed by your code on the main box
I spent ages trying to program my main alarm unit’s code to the keypad, but the problem had been a lack of understand of how this works.
This is very easy to fit and very easy to pair with the alarm system – took about 3 minutes to set it up and test it. They provide double-sided tape which stuck on very well to the UPVC door and door frame.
Makes accessing my home seamless, no need for entry and exit period. Just arm and disarm like locking your car. Instantly secures my home without the need entering pin codes all the time.
Needed an additional door contact for my Yale alarm system, followed the instructions on adding an extra contact easily. Everything works great.
We love our Yale system as it is so easy just to buy additional pirs to add on, when you need them. They beep when the battery is low and work perfectly at other times. Super easy to put up and last really well.

Excellent little add on for wireless alarm system, easy to learn in and now no need to rush to other side of the house to turn off the alarm, good bit of kit.
These little things are amazing! After adding it to the wall, it now detects intruders and alerts my HSA alarm, which in turn lets everyone else know if someone enters our abode.
This item works perfectly as long as its a campatible device as description is vague on acceptable devices. This didnt work on my property but as i have different system at different properties i was able to link it to another property. Also the picture in the advert isnt the same as you receive as the picture has coloured buttons but the one received was just black buttons.
The critisisms i have are that the power cable is not long enough and the alarm fob came undone in my bag would be better if this was a flip case fob.
But all in all this is a very good product and would reccomend this to any one looking to purchase an alarm system for there property.
You will need to find the HSA6400 instructions for the main control unit to fit this properly. Once you have found that, it’s quite straightforward. It’s a good improvement being able to set and unset from another point in the house.
excellent. Allowed me to put the main control panel out of sight in a small cupboard and therefore hide all wires. Fitted the key pad by the front door. No wires showing and very small. Works perfectly. Very easy to programme to the main control. A great purchase
his PIR was an extra addition to my alarm system and works well.
Excellent piece of kit but beware if your pet can get within about 6ft of it they could set it off. Our cat jumped up onto a cabinet which is about 4ft away and it triggered the alarm.
The standard PIR’s were easily triggered by our cat. We swapped them for these and no false alarms in the two months since.

Brilliant and convenient and works quite a distance from the house to engage it but you cannot disengage until you open the front door and in the hallway.
Perhaps not matching the higher end finish/look of SSAIB wired systems on the PIRS, but seem no different to what the older ones did well,including time limited immobility alarming and panic button features and up to 3 telephone number alerting (only if required and then enabled)
One of these window/door contacts failed recently on a window and the main unit reported low battery on screen.
Normally they would just need the battery replaced.
Our Wifi router has never given any issues to the alarm or vice versa, occasionally during a thunderstorm (and rarely) some contacts have stopped signaling for a minute or so.
Pressing the button on them and seeing the led to illuminate soon makes them send a signal.This doesn’t seem to cause false tamper alerts or siren triggers/false intruder/immobility/tamper/panic dial-outs.
The system works on AM frequencies which I was originally thinking might be an interference nightmare, but the band seems good for low power devices and hardly anything else being in that spectrum is a plus.
This wireless reed switch had lasted almost 4 years and uses a large flat lithium motherboard type cell, changing it for a new one made no difference so we ordered the full wireless contact replacement above.
It was added to the system in 1 minute and came with handy templates,screws plugs or 3m backing adhesive cut out strips for non permanent areas, and of course pre fitted with a new lithium battery that is not on until you remove insulating plastic.
Can be mounted horizontally or vertically and the magnet will activate reed from either left or right sides.
Overall, a very easy on the bank balance maintenance budget, without wires,monthly contracts or “cloud” based face detection features and a low cost for any parts when they reach end of life.
Sometimes, local simple systems can be enough.
Everything for the system we have these switches for can still be sourced and replaced on an as needed basis,including smoke alarms/sirens – all with anti tamper features and battery level reporting, right down the range to these small contacts.
Be aware that if using the 3m sticky tape option that your anti tamper microswitch at the rear has to press firmly on the surface as if it moves away from it slightly it can trigger the alarm if anti-tamper is turned on at the base.
One attempt at break in 3 years ago was stopped by the sirens which probably paid for the alarm.
Recommended, even in 2016.

Overall I really like the Yale wireless alarm system, I have 3 kits all functioining through the same main control point.
Good quality as expected from Yale. Simple to install and set up,Does the job.
Very handy bit of kit.Useful when just nipping out for a short while,but remember to keep the fob in a secure place.
I have two separate Yale security systems and I use the one remote for both of them which saves me remembering the code.
A brilliant product, wish I had purchased it when I first bought the alarm. Easy to install, and even easier to use. You do have to start the alarm count down to use the key fob. And the brilliant thing is you can set the alarm from the fob, I especially like the fob for partial alarm, as you can just press the button rather than running to the main control box. Highly recommended.

It was a shame that the original sales/fitter did not carry item or even offer it as a solution to the one problem that was evident during the initial install.
Works well but pairing isn’t simple as they have failed to give pairing instructions just saying refer to alarm manual. That’s all well and good if you purchase a new alarm and have the manual handy but I had to rely on Google. After pairing though it works like a dream and the inner keypad cones out so you can take it to other locations not just the wall the holder is fixed to

Very flexible usage. You can leave it in its holder indoors or you can take it with you so you can disarm the alarm before entering.
These work well, don’t use the cheaper ones as they won’t be recognised by the control unit.
I had to send mine back in exchange for the genuine Yale ones!
Great additonal to the old style yale alarm (HSA6300) – means you can hide the main box and have a single cordless keypad near your front door. Connected easily.

We bought these as an add-on to an existing Yale wireless alarm system and they work perfectly. They were easy to configure into the system and they are easy to use – they save the hassle of dashing to the control panel to disable the alarm. Just make sure that the remotes are compatible with your alarm system – I think there are some types of Yale alarm with which they don’t work.
Seems to be pet friendly. Have a small dog that weighs about 4kg hasn’t set it off but when I walk in sets it off straight away
Great works well with one small dog, though only had a couple of weeks.
Put one of these at the top of the stairs to arm/disarm when we go to bed. Because it works just like the main control box you don’t have to wait for the alarm to be triggered to disarm it like you do with the keyfob. If they were a little smaller I would carry one of these instead of the keyfob.
Bought this to supplement my existing Yale Burglar Alarm system. Have fitted it beside the front door to give my wife confidence when opening the door to strangers!
I bought this to add to my Yale Burglar Alarm syatem as an extra keypad (in my bedroom). Very inobtrusive and works a treat (although there is no visual display) but this is not really a drawback.
If you are looking for a Yale Locks HSA6060 Alarm fob, then look no further! It switches on the alarm and switches it off. If you don’t have a Yale alarm, you probably won’t need this.
I ordered this item on Sunday 3pm and it arrived safely the next day! I love amazon prime! It was so easy to setup on my 6400 premium model of Yale. I’ve noticed the buttons are really hard on the yale keypad. This remote keyfob makes life so much easier. Highly recommend it!
Bought theses items to enlarge the full kit. I was a bit worried that they stuck onto the window / door but so far they have been fine. It was easy to add to the existing system, they just needed to be programmed. This was very easy to do.

This product is just as described by the seller. It is a good size to carry around and is efficient.
Excellent item, maybe a little bigger than you would like. Apart from the convenience of not needing to enter the pass code, there is added peace of mind by being able to disable the alarm (and in turn know the house is secure) without setting foot in the house.
My son fitted the whole system for me as he has one. Professional alarm engineers won’t touch the system for annual maintenance as they say it should be connected through the electricity system of a house. But it works if you want to switch it on when you leave your property and you can set it to ring you if it goes off. Not much use though if you’re miles away of course, but it’s a deterrent. This key fob is for putting by your bed for example so you can alarm your house before going to bed.
I ordered this to go with the wire free Yale Premium Alarm. I took about 1 minute to set it up. I even take it to bed with me. This keypad saves me from buying the key fob. This is a great accessory.
These don’t detect pet size animals, though they have limits, if you own a silverback gorilla then it’s not that pet friendly however tabby cat, labrador size etc won’t cause an issue. Unless you live in an area with very small burglars.
This was needed to secure a garden shed which has already in the past been raided and contents removed.as this is linked to the main house alarm it will give the shed protection.

I purchased the full alarm set and this as an additional PIR sensor from the same company to give us extra security in addition to our alarm system. I had shopped around on the internet as I wanted a decent and reliable alarm system at an affordable cost. ( I had previusly purchaed a really cheap system elsewhere and it was tacky n poor qulaity, therefore I beleive you get what you pay for and paying a bit more is worth while for the security and peace of mind. The supply was excellent with communications, as initially one of the door sensors in my kit wasnt working properly when my husband installed it. The company resolved quickly without any fuss and replaced the sensor. ( I suppose we were just unlucky and sometimes this can happen whan you purchase from anywhere, as faults can go undetected at the manufacturers). I would definately purchase any additional accessories in the future from this supplyer and would highly recommend the yale system and accessories!

Great PIR, they arrived really quick and so far i have not had any problems with my cat setting them off. They are original yale as they came in The yale packaging.
I purchased two of these key fobs to go with the HSA 6400 Premium alarm. It was very easy to add them to the system using the ‘Add device’ feature in the PR menu. My only concern after purchase was in relation to a couple of reviews that mentioned you cannot turn off the alarm using the fob. You can, but you must ensure you do the following.
The system can be fully armed from inside/outside the house using the key fob. However, if you want to disarm the alarm, you must first activate the entry countdown by entering the premises via your set entry point. Once the entry countdown has commenced you can turn off the alarm by pushing the disarm button on the fob.
The home arm function can be switched on & off without any additional action from the fob. A great product at the best price I could find on the web
Amazing key fobs, so much easier to just press the button than trying to tap in number on the keypad, so many times i have set off my alarm because the buttons on my keypad alarm got stuck and i ran out of time causing the alarm to trip, even my neighbours are happy.
when i paired with the 6400 alram it would only set the alarm. you have to go to paired devices and edit this fob so as to be the primary. then it will activate and deactivate the alarm.
I bought tis for a friend as she usually has to transport things from her car to the house, and I had one of these in the past. it operates the home alarm system like a car alarm ( one push function – no code required )

I bought this for our Yale HSA6000 series alarm as an addition to the keypad. It is much easier to arm and disarm the system with this keyfob and it can be done at distance.
Very useful remote as I tend to forget to put alarm on after I have locked the doors no more worries now as I do it now sitting in the car waiting to drive off

These are easy to fit and have a good quality. They are a little on the pricey side and the batteries do tend to run out a little too quickly. That said, I would recommend.
A good addition to my yale alarm system. I intend buying two more, one for each of my kids.Arrived within a couple of days and took 10 seconds to set up.
Feels a little brittle, but works perfectly. Buttons are recessed enough that they don’t seem to get pressed accidentally whilst in a pocket. Addition to the alarm system very easy, added both fobs in less than five minutes
I installed it some time ago and it has proved itself a good buy. This system is so easy to install as you have no time consuming wire positioning to worry about.
I bought this for two reasons, firstly when our alarm started counting down at 2am… bleary eyed I ran down stairs and in my half-awake state I was more focussed about typing in the code to turn off the alarm, than I was for checking there wasn’t someone in the house!
The other was a friend who came in while we were away to feed the rabbit, and confused the alarm console with the digital thermostat!
Now, if the alarm activates at night, I can control it from my bedside, and with the panic button function, it gives a bit more peace-of-mind while checking the house!
Also, it means that it is simpler for house-guests to use!
I have fitted this to my shed door a useful addition to the existing system. It is easy to fit and has a long range. It works well even though the shed is at the bottom of the garden.
As I can see no other way of doing this, this is a warning that this sensor is not compatible with the new Yale Easy-Fit alarm system, only with the 3000 and 6000 series. I bought it thinking all Yale wireless systems were intercompatible and then discovered they were not. I am giving this five stars as it was delivered very quickly and a refund was offered without any fuss, just a shame that Yale cannot offer compatibility across the board.

At the moment this works better for me than does the main panel of the Yale Premium Alarm HSA 6400. The main panel ignored my inputs on a number of occasions and I had to dash upstairs to the Wire Free Key pad ( with which it seemed to be on good terms ) and it immediately obeyed the commands.
It is not easy to find the spares for our alarm so I was pleased to see this in Amazon. It arrived in a coulpe of days and installed in a couple of minutes. Well done to all.
Another reviewer commented that there are no instructions for adding it to a system. This is true and you need to refer to the original system manual which has details of adding more accessories to the system. (These instructions are also available online via Yale.)
Overall an ideal addition to the system.
Yale did supply a top kit that performs very well and does the trick (installed after I was burgled of course…) Wireless remote works well and is as simple as you can get a system going. For non techies or ‘left’ handed people, this is a simple alarm system which can be operated with this remote which includes this extra remote I ordered.
Anyone in one household can have their own remote! For elderly people or persons living on their own and feeling threatend the remote has also a’panic’ or personal alarm button, which will set off the alarm immediately
Having the keypad on the wall near the front door allows you to arm/disarm the alarm quickly and easily.
No need to have the control unit/panel within easy access or on view.
The keypad is a really good addition to the alarm system.
The grey keypad can be taken out of the white holder, if required.
Very impressed with the system, it’s ease of programing and fitting.

The buttons can get little stiff, and sometimes get stuck, but other than that this is a very good alarm accessory. Arming and disarming alarm just like locking and unlocking a car. Very ideal for people who do not have much general technical knowledge.
I needed to replace one of the remote controls for the alarm system which is about 6 years old and bought a replacement and an additional remote fom this site. They arrived as advised and are compatible with the system and cheaper than Homebase so well pleased.
Very easy to use and saves having to gave the control panel near the front door. I like also that it has an emergency button on it – if you hold it down for 3 seconds it sets the alarm off whether you have set the alarm or not – very reassuring.
Overall I’m satisfied with the product, with the exception of the distinct lack of instructions.
I had to trawl the Net to find out how to set the PIN to match the main panel.
easy to programe and fit. Have not tried it with the pet yet so can not comment 100% Better to by the up graded package 6400 with them already in.
Only bought this sensor to replace an identical sensor that gave false alarms for no obvious reason. The previous sensor triggered the alarm 3x over a period of 3 years. After the second time I swapped it with another PIR sensor in a different room and the false alarm source changed room to follow the sensor. I concluded that there must have been something wrong with the sensor or maybe I have a neighbour with a sensor with the same radio code? Anyway, the replacement works fine and no false alarms so far. Apart from this minor issue I have had 2 Yale alarm systems with multiple PIR sensors and they have worked flawlessly. So I recommend this product.
I guess one issue is that if you ever did get broken into and they found this keyfob then they could turn the alarm off, so its important not to leave it hanging by the front door.
