It's okay
It a nice shredder but if you don’t get the waste bin in all the way it won’t work .
Great shredde
Bit difficult to assemble but once done works well, only problem was that instructions didn’t seem to apply to model supplied.
It's a sad day when you're this excited about a shredde
I loath shredding and with two small businesses on the go, there tends to be quite a bit of it. I have been using a much more expensive known-brand shredder for a few years and it finally gave up the ghost. Despite having paid a lot, I had found it irritating – noisy, time-consuming, messy -urgh. This shredder is a game-changer.
1. The shredded paper is small and compact so the bin takes MUCH longer to fill
2. The bin seems huge, even though the shredder is roughly the same size as my other one; it easily slides out forwards
3. The shredder hasn’t overheated once yet, despite having cleared a backlog of shredding – the 10 minutes of run time seems to hold true.
4. The more compact paper means it doesn’t trigger the ‘full’ switch until its actually properly full
5. The more compact paper means that it stays in the bin instead of getting into the machine, down the back of the bin, even when you’re emptying it.
6. It says it takes up to 16 sheets of paper – it hasn’t jammed once. (My other shredder took 10 – but would often jam with 6).
7. It’s on wheels, so easy to move to clean around etc.
8. It stands a little higher than my old one – which means it looks ok next to the desk and I’m more likely to shred as needed.

Had this over a year now, very easy set up no issues. If you buy it you won’t be disappointed.
Very happy with the machine
Not the easiest to assemble, with some moulding flash around the castor recesses in the main body, but simply resolved with some judicious use of a flat balded screwdriver. It’s quite, efficient and very good value for money. Over the years I’ve had many shredding machines, and so far none have been able to perform as specified, so I do not expect this one to shred 10 sheets at a time. That said, unless you have so much confidential paperwork that you need to regularly shred 10 pages at a time, buy this one. Otherwise, feel free to spend 200+
Sweet and simple
As long as you put only 1 to max 4 pieces of average gsm paper, this shredder will do its work…. You put more in then it’ll slow it down…. get some lube paper and it’ll last a long time…. in no way is this for office use, this is more for casual use…. the best bit for me is the pull out bin!!! It’s small and has caster wheels, which does its job…. overall, I would recommend this as long as you follow the above….

I've just purchased the cleaner sheets for it because it's way overdue to be oiled and sharpened and I don't want to kill it by not taking proper care of it. Especially since the price has doubled (I paid $109). Would I buy it again if and when this one eventually needs replacing? You bet! For my needs it is well worth the money.

good working machine
This works really well the only fault I have is that the wheels are a bit wobbly but if leaving in the same position no problem but it does a great job.
Awesome shredde
Worth paying that bit extra for a good shredder this one is brilliant! Quick and easy to use and the pull out drawer is much easier. No complaints after 5 weeks and a mountain of paper reduced to a bag full!

Outstanding
I needed a shredder to go through years of business and private paperwork so wanted one that wouldn’t require an hour to cool down after ten minutes of use.
The first time I used it I created two bin bags of confetti without having to stop once. Admittedly I was only doing 2-3 pages at a time but it never skipped a beat.
In total I created 9 bags each with 3 loads and never had to stop once to let it cool down.
I highly recommend this shredder if you have a small business or just like shredding things.
Functional home/office shredder.
Easy assembly and operation but the body and waste paper container should be more rigid. Reasonable value for money – can’t comment on durability at this stage.

I purchased a Bonsaii C221 B through Amazon and after 6 months it stopped working. After describing the fault to Mia at Bonsaii Customer Care I promptly received a brand new replacement shredder which is working superbly.

Needs to be set up properly
We had difficulty getting it to work initially until we realised the top section wasn’t sitting properly on the bin. Once the top was sitting level it went great guns.

Bought this shredder as my old one broke. It’s easy to use, very quite and shreds as it should so my personal info will never be known.

Hard working office aid
Spent a happy 2 days shredding loads of paperwork, photos & negatives etc that had been cluttering up our office annex at home for years. Didn’t overwork the unit and had regular “rests”. Also purchased a bottle of Fellowes Performance Oil and made sure the cutters were regularly cleared and oiled. Very happy sofar with the performance and am sure the unit will give us many hours of work in the years to come.
Strong and Sturdy
I first bought a Bonsaii 12 sheet cross cut shredder, which broke down after a fairly short time. Spoke to a technician from Amazon and was told the teeth had seized up, I was not putting more that 12 sheets at a time. So I invested in a larger shredder for 16 sheets and the whole machine is much more sturdy as I have a lot of paper to shred. Yes it was more expensive but worth every penny, I am getting through my load quickly now. And thanks to Amazon for refunding my first shredder.
Excellent easy to set up
I really do not know how people find this difficult to assemble as it only requires you to remove the packaging. It is the best shredder I have had to date and really shreds to a confetti.

I had a lift off type, always had to vacuum when I emptied it. Not with this, pulls out clean and a big bin.

Pretty good product, cuts the paper into really small pieces. The only downside is it will only realistically do one sheet at a time. Even doing two makes it smell like it’s overheating after a few sheets
I had a load of shredding to do and managed to set my third other name shredder on fire, which is always a disturbing experience. The last one slowed to a crawl before giving up the ghost. I decided to try another brand of shredder and saw a good deal on the Bonsaii after doing some research. This one arrived quickly, was easy to assemble, comes with a handy drawer for holding the shredded paper which is cross cut into tiny pieces. Easy to use, easy to empty. Early days but it shreds without smoking. Happy.
Looks like I got a lemo
The unit functioned s expected though often stopped on the 4th to 8th item shredded to cool down. Less than 2 months after purchase on the 3rd item it reversed, emitted a dull thud, and died. I have now contacted their customer services to see if this can be repaired or replaced under warranty. I will update this feedback accordingly.
It took a lot of e-mails and faffing around but in the end they have offered to replace the unit.
Great home office machine
Was purchased for the home office during working from home. A good size , but not too large. Cross cutting action for additional piece of mind , cutting are very small. Looks good too. Not the cheapest but I have purchased cheaper in the past and then have found that they burn out out after a year or so , so I more heavy purpose build is useful. It would be good if the price point was below 100. Otherwise I would recommend.

Really impressed with this. It shreds easily, even credit cards.

It does struggle a little with 10 sheets, but it still shreds them.

Fantastic
A fantastic shredder. Keeps going for ages – I have shredded hundreds and hundreds of sheets and pieces of card and it has only stopped once and only for a short while because it was getting a little bit hot. You can put in plenty of sheets at one time as well, as long as they’re not too thick. The shredded paper is so tiny – just like confetti – that there is no threat to security whatsoever, as far as I can see.
Well worth the money and delivered very quickly.

So far, so good! A little difficult to put together and a little force is needed with careful alignment at first. The shredder is a fair size for a domestic setting but the paper capacity is great and the bin pulls out from the front to make emptying easier. It has handled 12 pieces of paper at a time with no problems but I tend to insert less in case the pile folds over as it takes it in. Staples are not an issue and churns them without hesitation. Yet to try plastic cards. Hoping this will last a lot longer than the smaller capacity, false-economy shredders out there.

Very easy to use. Shreds paper into tiny pieces unlike previous shredders I have had that shred into long strips. Well worth the cost.

Struggles with more than 8
This should be billed as an 8 sheet shredder. I think its is bit of a con to say it will shred 12. I don’t think it would last long doing 12 on a regular basis. But OK with 8.

I Recieved the Shredder, Easily got it ready to go and Worked it Very hard for at Least 25 mins, with upto 7 sheets including staples . No issues.. Cant tell you about the unit you receive but i Can say, Im Happy with this Unit..

Great larger shredder. Big bin. Rather than other shredders, you don’t have to lift up heavy part off as the bin slides out. Shreds into tiny little pieces. The machine is happy to keep going for ages without the need to cool down. Only downside, is that it does not take as many pieces of paper as stated.
Definitely recommend, as great machine.

Quiet and easy to use
Arrived as promised, easy to assemble and worked well. Cuts up papers to small sizes and tackles CC easily.
I bought this to replace a cheap shredder that jammed up. This cost was at least double but it is much better. It is much quieter when shredding although by no means silent. It shreds the paper into confetti, obliterating all information. It has a large basket which pulls out from the front, which has a window so you can see how full it is. There is a switch on the back to turn the power on but to operate it there three buttons on the top which you only need to touch – on/off, forward and reverse. In terms of how many sheets you can shred at the same time, I have shredded several tax returns (I am an accountant) which consist of around 15 pages stapled together, and had no problems. The manual tells you how long you can run the shredder before it overheats. In that event it will cut out until cool again.
Be aware that you must use shredder oil on the blades every 5th or 6th emptying.
Putting the shredder together was a bit awkward. I found it tricky to get the base to fit to the shredder head. It has to “click” into place. Eventually I laid the head upside down on the floor and fitted the base from above. Inserting the four casters was also difficult and required quite a bit of pressure. Warning – the blades are really sharp, so if you turn it upside down as I did, be very careful.
However, I am very satisfied with this machine. It looks good and fits neatly by my desk and shreds very efficiently
Good volume for shredded pape
Nice powerful shredder with a large easily emptied container for the waste. It is quite a large item of equipment so it would be worth checking the size if space is limited.
