Let’s start with a positive. Having fitted the new blade, my shredder is now working like it was supposed to do. It’s actually dragging stuff through and cutting up nicely. I looked at the existing blade as I removed it and, although I’d turned it over a couple of years ago, it was seriously in need of replacement. Maybe I’ve been doing too much woody stuff lately?
But the new blade? Well I’ve no doubt it was once beautifully sharp but a combination of inadequate packaging and rough handling in the post meant that there were several burrs on the edges and one corner was turned over. Nothing really serious that a few minutes with a sharpening stone couldn’t rectify but since when was a jiffy bag an adequate carrier for a very sharp-edged piece of metal? One corner had protruded through the edge of the bag so no protection there then!
And I’m sure they meant well but the person who put a complimentary chocolate bar in the jiffy bag during a heatwave really hadn’t thought it through had they? This little bag of mush went straight in the bin.
A Very Good Blade - Now in Bio-degradable Package!
First Off – I’m pretty sure this blade used to come in that horrible super-stiff hard plastic packaging. This one came in a tagboard box with inner padding of corrugated cardboard. Full marks Bosch!
Second – Contrary to other reviews it comes with a new bolt and washer (as have previous ones). Are other reviewers sure they bought genuine Bosch?
Third – Complaints in other reviews of blade dulling rapidly. It is ESSENTIAL that nothing go into the shredder except totally clean plant material! One small dirty root or one tiny pebble and that’s it; time to turn or replace the blade. You can render the blade useless the first time you use it if you’re not careful. This is not the fault of the blade. It’s a fact of life. My AXT is 12 years old, and I have replaced the blade 4 times. My garden is fairly large, and I have a lot shrub and tree trimmings that go through it each year. I consider 3 years to be a reasonable life, and I still suspect that most of the dulling has occurred when I let some dirt sneak in. Look at the blade when you remove it. If is shows pits and unevenness on the cutting edge, it has tried to shred dirt and pebbles.
So overall, I’m happy with my AXT, and I think the genuine Bosch replacement blades are worth every penny.

Blunts quite quickly
… and isn’t really user ‘resharpenable’. At least you can turn the blade over to get another life out of it – which, incidentally, in my experience is only a few hours shredding before the shredder starts to struggle.
Bosch ATX Rapid 2000/2200 replacement blade
Product is exactly as described. It arrived quickly in Bosch branded box securely wrapped as befits a sharp blade. Included in the box was a new blade ‘Made in Switzerland’ and a replacement bolt and washer and fitting instructions. The price may seem expensive but considering the work it has to do over the years then really it’s not too much money and definitely worth investing in.

Messer schneidet gut. Ist nicht ganz so haltbar wie frhere Messer anderer Hersteller, aber ist in Ordnung!;))
Quality replaceme
If your garden shredder is just stripping the bark off and not chipping very well, fit a new blade. It is worth the cost to see almost anything go through the shredder and emerge in tiny little bits. Much better results than just trying to put a new cutting edge on the old blade.
The best Bosch blade I've ever bough
Complete with spare washer and bolt to attach it to the shredder.
The last one I bought directly from Bosch didn’t come in a branded box with spare bolt.
Hoping I don’t blunt this one too quickly as they’re not cheap.

J’avais eu un doute sur la qualit concernant un des dernier avis .
Le couteau que j’au reu est bien une pice d’origine dans sa boite d’origine Bosch avec sa notice de montage et parfaitement affut.(il est mme emball dans un plastique lubrifi pour qu’il ne s’oxyde pas).
Il y a aussi la rondelle plate et la vis BTR qu’il faut utiliser lors du remplacement du couteau.(prconis par le fabricant.)
Ma broyeuse a retrouve toute son efficacit.
Attention aux ramassage des vgtaux au rteau (la prsence de gravier ou de sable dtruira le tranchant du couteau)
Il est dommage de ne montrer que le couteau sur la page de prsentation du produit : la photo de la boite rendrait l’article plus contractuel et viterait certainement des drives par des substituts asiatiques.
eccellente affilatura
Ho installato la lama su un trituratore Rapid Bosch ed ho triturato gi una gran quantit di rami, anche piuttosto grossi e duri, senza che l’affilatura ne risentisse minimamente.
Bought as a spare.
Never had the need yet to replace the original blade, so longevity looks good after two season’s use.

This wasn’t the cheapest produdt but it appears to be a genuine Bosch part. Only time will tell how good it really is. For the moment it is shredding really well.

Messer für Bosch Hächsle
Bosch hlt was es verspricht. Messer sehen gut aus, hoffentlich schneiden sie auch gut – davon gehe ich aus, deshalb auch 5 Sterne
Used in argos "Challenge Impact" shredder; fits fine, works well.
Bought to replace the blade in my hundred quid Argos machine. Went in no problem, but even with a brand new blade the shredder doesn’t quite work as well as it did when it was brand new. However that’s not the blade’s fault I’m sure. The original blade was getting pretty bad (had several nicks in the edge and was just sort of stripping, rather than chopping) after I’d filled about fifteen or twenty black bags. Strangely, reversing the original blade didn’t help much. Replacing the blade with this one did help and it chops again, but perhaps be a bit realistic if it’s going in a cheaper machine, i think partly in my case that’s just getting a bit tired. Perhaps an actual Bosch machine would be more completely rejuvenated? Anyhow, this blade was almost 1/3 the price of the entire shredder, and twice the price of a no-name brand blade, but it came quickly with Prime so I could keep on working, so in those terms it was worth it.
Günstiger als schleifen lasse
Diese Schneidbltter werden relativ schnell stumpf. Daher habe ich mir ein Ersatzblatt gekauft — fr die Zeit, in der das andere beim Schleifen ist. Dieses Ersatzblatt war preislich etwas gnstiger als das Schleifen, was allerdings nicht heit, dass ich jetzt grundstzlich lieber ein neues Blatt kaufe, als das alte schleifen zu lassen (siehe oben).
A repeat buy
Original Bosch, good quality and best price. My only gripe is the packaging – why do they have to use so much plastic? It’s welded in and very difficult to open, but there’s no doubt that it’s the genuine article.
Nach den negativen Rezensionen mchte ich mal etwas Realismus in die Sache bringen. Die Messer tun was sie sollen. Sie sind nur oberflchlich gehrtet und nicht durchgehrtet, weil ein durchgehrtetes Messer sprde wre und rasch brechen wrde. Das Messer wird (wie alle gehrteten Messer) sehr rasch schartig, wenn man Erde oder Sand mit dem Hchselgut aufnimmt. Also beispielsweise vom Boden zusammengekehrten Heckenschnitt oder Gebsch mit Wurzeln. Ich komme mit einem Messer pro Jahr aus und benutze den Hchsler eher viel, da smtliches holzige Schnittgut zerkleinert auf den Kompost kommt oder zum Mulchen von Beeten benutzt wird.
Meine einzigen zwei Kritikpunkte sind die frchterliche Blisterverpackung und der fr ein vergleichsweise einfach herzustellendes Teil hohe Preis.

Works as it should
Works as it should, goes blunt after a while but that depends on how much of whatever your shredding, they all go blunt in time anyway, i usually just sharpen them again on a grinding wheel a few times before purchasing a new one.
Only the original will do
They last for a good while unless the wife (or you) put in roots with dirt on (it works like sandpaper).
Really sharp and strong, goes through a 1″ branch like paper. Love it, just wish it was cheaper…………
I wrote a scathing review of the Bosch 2200 shredder. The OEM blade that is shipped with the unit is awful. I have finally replaced the blade with this one and it’s like a different machine. The blade that came with the shredder had 108 imprinted on it. The new one is marked 101. I don’t know if that makes any difference but the replacement seems far superior. I have been happily shredding buddleia and various other greener cuttings and the cutting action seems to shred and eject the material cleanly. This means that I’m not forever having to unblock the chute and blade carrier. Woody material is actually cut rather that stripped into annoying strings that are no good for composting.
20 is steep but I hope it will last a season or two.

Expensive, but not in the long ru
I had tried other replacement blades before, which did not give the same performance, and lasted half as long. Also, working with them took much longer, since the blades were struggling with harder or thicker twigs. This is the real thing, and well worth the extra cost.

La lame se monte rapidement ; juste quelques vis enlever. Je retrouve mon broyeur comme neuf, avec une efficacit redoutable … ou au moins trs nettement suprieure ce qu’elle tait devenue depuis quelques semaines. J’aurais du la changer avant !

Lame pour broyeur Bosch chère mais solide
Je l’ai achet en prvision du remplacement de celle actuellement installe qui est encore d’origine. Elle est increvable.
J’ai pass dans ce broyeur des branchages de plus de 4 cms de diamtre et la machine ne bronche pas.
La lame a mme tranch le ressort d’un scateur qui est tomb dedans par malchance. Le ressort a t dchiquet mais la lame intacte.
Avec une seule lame pour le moment j’ai broy l’quivalent d’un gros saule pleureur et d’un autre arbre dont je ne me souviens du nom, mais haut de 5 mtres en branchages. Il a tourn par forte chaleur en juin pendant 5 heures non-stop et a branch durant cette priode plus d’une cinquantaine de grosses branches. Je suis vraiment impressionn par la robustesse de la machine et de sa lame.
Genuine Bosch blade as good as the original supplied when my shredder was new. My old blade which was several years old was failing to chip up some woods. This new blade pulls the material into the shredder and chips wood into small pieces. No more strips of unshredded material. Makes me realise I should have bought this new blade long before now. Quality blade, easy to fit and makes the shredding much quicker and easier.
Matériel Bosch d'origine, gage de qualité
J’ai achet il y a 2 ans le broyeur Bosch qui utilise cette lame; Aiguisage d’origine parfait. Si l’on veut r aiguiser la lame, il faut autant que possible viter de diminuer l’alignement avec le moyeu centrale car cela dtriore l’efficacit de coupe. Je n’ai pu aiguiser les lames qu’une seule fois (on peut aussi retourner la lame 1 fois) . Coupe bien le bois vert, viter le bois mort et les feuilles (thuya, laurier cerise…) et surtout les cailloux.
Genuine part - but still blunts quickly.
This is a genuine part with the genuine sharpness and blade finish. Comes with the washer and nut which is handy if not essential. They still blunt very quickly though and i’m Never entirely sure which way is the right way up – and it does matter.
Best you can get though for this design of blade and absolutely gauranteed to fit the shredder with it being a genuine part.
Replacement blade
Bought as a replacement blade for Bosch shredder. Works well as we have a shrubby garden and I shred it all for compost so gets extensive use. Stands up well but does need sharpening often. Good product.

Coupe extrmement bien mais s’use assez vite si l’on passe de grosses branches bien dures. Normal certainement.
Donc faire attention ne pas passer ce genres de branches et vitez aussi les cailloux.
This new sharp blade transformed my AXT Rapid 2200
I discovered that my old blade, that still appeared to be somewhat sharp, was causing my AXT Rapid 2200 to be hard to push sticks into and also caused its outlet to plug frequently with mostly uncut smaller diameter sticks and leaves. Once the new blade was installed, it mostly self feeds and devours sticks, small branches and leaves as fast as I can load them. I cannot believe that this is the same machine. It works Great!
Changer la lame dès que ça broie moins bie
La broyeuse bosch 2200 n’a qu’un point faible c que quand la lame est use, elle marche mal. Heureusement on peut trs facilement la changer et il faut garder la vielle lame pour s’en resservir une fois aiguise.
Keep it SHARP
Nothing “exceptional” about these blades.
The secret is to KEEP THEM SHARP. Which requires REGULAR, & quite frequent sharpening.
No matter what you do they will keep blunting quite quickly (if you use them – lol).

DAS Ersatzmesser überhaupt für den Rapid
das Orginal ist nicht so quallitatiev wie das Ersatzmesser. Die Holzzweige werden geradezu in den Rapid selbst hinein gezogen und in gewnschte Centimeterstcke zerkleine
Cuchilla desmenuzadora Bosch AXT 2200
Si tienes una maquina de estas ya estas tardando en comprar unas cuchillas de recambio si no sabes afilar la que trae en origen.
Aunque esta cuchilla la puedes rotar y usar el otro lado…..cuando pierde filo, si ya lo has hecho y no sabes darle el grado de afilado correcto es la mejor opcin si est a un precio asequible.
La diferencia es abismal de una cuchilla usada o mal afilada a una nueva.
De cortar 40mm de diametro de olivo, algarrobo o almendro sin problemas “chupando” la rama ella sola a una velocidad de vertigo a no tragar ni un cm de dimetro y en lugar de cortar….sesgar y atrancarse continuamente llegando a desesperar, digo por experiencia.
No lo dudes….si no saber dar el punto de afilado aprovecha ofertas de 20 y compra una.
Esta maquina con buena cuchilla es fantstica….con cuchilla mala….pa tirarla!!!
