Brilliant just what I needed for all my joinery jobs thanks
Good product at a good price. Already had suitable battery from a previous Bosch purchase. Easy to attach, disconnect and recharge.
Great little sander, gets in to all the difficult places, and without cable’s getting in the way. The battery does a few hours work before recharge.
You will need to get hold of one of the smaller 18V batteries, at most 2.5Ah, which will fit. They aren’t particularly cheap, even if you go for the lowest capacity 1.0Ah 18V batteries.
Note that there is such a thing as streamlined 4.0Ah battery in this system, but I haven’t seen them being sold on Amazon (yet) and the sander manual specifically says not to use ANY 4.0Ah batteries with it (it doesn’t say why – I would have thought it should be fine but my track record with assuming things about Bosch 18V batteries isn’t great).
The sander itself is fine. It’s no good for heavy duty work but if you need to tidy up some rough edges or take off a thin layer of paint, it’s fine. I think I would have preferred to have the wired version, especially now that I am forced to use a battery that won’t last as long. It would have been much cheaper too.
Ergonomically, this tool has its issues. With a battery installed, it is a little heavy, plus the grip is not that comfortable to hold for long periods. This really is geared towards small, quick jobs. I wouldn’t say it is that powerful so you may be forced to use it for longer than you want to. However, it is sturdy and looks like it should last for a long time.
All said, I have no buyers regret. It does what I need it to do. Having to buy yet another, smaller 18V battery to fit this was annoying but I can use that with my drill and other Bosch tools so it’s not the end of the world.
This is amazing. Has amazing adhesion and power. The dust collecting is brilliant too. I haven’t tried it with a dust collector hose. But even just with the small box collector it handles it well. Fits the Bosch battery and saves money using the 18v battery system. Overall for the price it is worth the better results and time saving.

Non sono un esperto di levigatrici. Ho per acquistato questo prodotto perch cercavo una levigatrice per piccoli lavori casalinghi (es. riverniciare le finestre di casa, ecc.) e che fosse facilmente portabile ovunque, senza bisogno del filo. Ho intenzione di usarla anche per dipingere la recinzione in ferro che va prima carteggiata ed il filo era ingombrante oltre che difficilmente utilizzabile data la distanza.
Nel complesso un prodotto che mi ha soddisfatto: maneggevole, pratico, non eccessivamente pesante e fa il suo lavoro.
La batteria da 2ah stata sufficiente per lavorare un’ora (non continuativa).
Al momento non posso lamentarmi. Non metto 5 stelle perch un po’ complicato pulire il recipiente raccogli polvere.
