Great little mouse shaped sander. The dust extraction system is superb and the split sander sheets is a good idea. I bought it to help with the fiddly bits when renovating my summerhouse but have used ir for other projects too. I recieved an email shortly after purchase offering me a free battery by sending proof of purchase. It has not been delivered yet.

Good product at a good price. Already had suitable battery from a previous Bosch purchase. Easy to attach, disconnect and recharge.
Great battery life
Great little sander, gets in to all the difficult places, and without cable’s getting in the way. The battery does a few hours work before recharge.
I own a few a few Bosch devices that take the 18V battery system, so I assumed this sander would be fully compatible. Unfortunately it is not. All of the 18V Bosch batteries I owned were the 4.0Ah size, which fit my drill, strimmer and lawnmower, but are not slim enough to fit in the gap for the battery on this sander.
You will need to get hold of one of the smaller 18V batteries, at most 2.5Ah, which will fit. They aren’t particularly cheap, even if you go for the lowest capacity 1.0Ah 18V batteries.
Note that there is such a thing as streamlined 4.0Ah battery in this system, but I haven’t seen them being sold on Amazon (yet) and the sander manual specifically says not to use ANY 4.0Ah batteries with it (it doesn’t say why – I would have thought it should be fine but my track record with assuming things about Bosch 18V batteries isn’t great).
The sander itself is fine. It’s no good for heavy duty work but if you need to tidy up some rough edges or take off a thin layer of paint, it’s fine. I think I would have preferred to have the wired version, especially now that I am forced to use a battery that won’t last as long. It would have been much cheaper too.
Ergonomically, this tool has its issues. With a battery installed, it is a little heavy, plus the grip is not that comfortable to hold for long periods. This really is geared towards small, quick jobs. I wouldn’t say it is that powerful so you may be forced to use it for longer than you want to. However, it is sturdy and looks like it should last for a long time.
All said, I have no buyers regret. It does what I need it to do. Having to buy yet another, smaller 18V battery to fit this was annoying but I can use that with my drill and other Bosch tools so it’s not the end of the world.
Well designed and made (I have several Bosch tools) and I now won’t buy cheap(er) products. The sanding sheets are easy to fit and remove and grip the plate really well. It’s relatively heavy for its size, but that means you can just use its own weight. No need to press down for sanding. A bonus is the one-for-all battery and charger system. For d-i-y use you are unlikely to want to use more than one tool at a time and it recharges quickly (about 1 hour?)
Time save
This is amazing. Has amazing adhesion and power. The dust collecting is brilliant too. I haven’t tried it with a dust collector hose. But even just with the small box collector it handles it well. Fits the Bosch battery and saves money using the 18v battery system. Overall for the price it is worth the better results and time saving.
Maneggevole ed efficiente
Non sono un esperto di levigatrici. Ho per acquistato questo prodotto perch cercavo una levigatrice per piccoli lavori casalinghi (es. riverniciare le finestre di casa, ecc.) e che fosse facilmente portabile ovunque, senza bisogno del filo. Ho intenzione di usarla anche per dipingere la recinzione in ferro che va prima carteggiata ed il filo era ingombrante oltre che difficilmente utilizzabile data la distanza.
Nel complesso un prodotto che mi ha soddisfatto: maneggevole, pratico, non eccessivamente pesante e fa il suo lavoro.
La batteria da 2ah stata sufficiente per lavorare un’ora (non continuativa).
Al momento non posso lamentarmi. Non metto 5 stelle perch un po’ complicato pulire il recipiente raccogli polvere.
Al giusto prezzo è un utilissimo utensile
Io lo sto usando addirittura per scartavetrare pareti con pittura speciale e sinceramente non male, non come una giraffa ma lavora discretamente

Used this for decorating our house, a great product does the job, the only criticism is the holding of it, but you do get use to the Sander grip.

Avevo gi l’avvitatore con 2 batterie quindi l’ho preso a 60 euro senza batteria direi ottimo usato per 5 giorni di continuo con due batterie con risultati (vedi foto era un tavolo completamente nero) e comodit unica con 2 batterie si pu lavorare quasi senza sosta
Handy, light sander.
Purchased for sanding newly fitted windows after corded sander proved too aggressive and cumbersome after a period of use. Great little sander – pick up and go, no flex to contend with while trying to reach awkward corners.

Prodotto assolutamente valido per un uso hobbistisco anche pesante, come sempre bosch non si smentisce, eccezionale poter comprare il corpo macchina senza batterie dato che io ho gi quelle dell’avvitatore… Avevo dubbi sulla potenza di lavoro e di aspirazione non essendo a cavo, ma sono rimasto molto colpito da tutte e due! Ho fatto quasi 2 ore di lavoro e non ho praticamente sporcato, la vaschetta per la polvere raccoglie tutto! La mia batteria da 2Ah dura parecchio, anche le vibrazioni sulla mano sono piuttosto basse, consigliatissimo!

But make sure you have everything in the house covered as although it collects the shavings, the dust finds every flat surface! And always, always wear a mask.
Très pratique grâce au sans fil.
Ponage sur planches de rive et sur montants en fer. Le bout en triangle pour le ponage est videmment trs pratique. L’ensemble pour mon utilisation occasionnelle est pour ma part trs bien.

But make sure you have everything in the house covered as although it collects the shavings, the dust finds every flat surface! And always, always wear a mask.

Le seul soucis que j’ai remarqu est la batterie que je devais constamment tenir si je ne voulais pas que la ponceuse s’arrete. Soucis de fabrication ? Je ne sais pas mais ce n’est si genant que a et a fait une sorte de scurit !

A little larger than anticipated.
Thought this was palm sander sized. My mistake. Was about 50% larger. Well made tho as expected of Bosch.
easy to use
for a diy product its very well made and works very well. all this supported by a 3 year warranty whats not to like.
This is far superior to my old rectangular Makita. The Velcro sand paper is so much easier to use and sticks very well. And is durable. My only gripe is that it’s a bit wide coupled with heavy to grip for women’s hands and my teenage son. Gives you hand spasms. Shame is it’s nearly perfect.
Didn’t need to buy a battery as had one in my strummer already. Like this universal battery thing they have going on now. Very efficient and cost effective.
