Had same one for 8 years before it packed in very happy with it so bought the same model . Definitely recommend.

The correct Pods
I found this machine very good but was a little mixed up with buying pods for it and ended up with several dolce gusto packs of pods which are too large for it. However I now have the correct pods and am happy with my buy.

Good but not for coffee connoisseurs
This is a good coffee machine and makes a good coffee for who is not very fussy about real espresso. Coffee is really foamy but not actually creamy (this is a particular that not everyone can get). Using a high quality coffee can help a lot anyway. Overall it is easy to use, personalizable and with choices of cappuccino, macchiato. Parts are quite easy to clean. It frothes milk very well.

Absolutely brillia
I absolutely love coffee but I’m quite fussy with my coffee. I’ve got a basic Nespresso machine but I wanted one that heated and frothed milk as well.

This is excellent once I get used to the different settings lol I really like that I can take the milk container and pop it in the fridge. My favourite is the latte- so far.

It’s not white!
I bought the WHITE one to match the white kettle and toaster, also from same manufacturer, which I purchased through Amazon at the same time. Don’t be fooled! It is not white at all but a very pale grey, so does not match the other items as expected. Amazon were useless in “attempting” to “understand” the problem!

Best For lazy coffee fans
Just get it. There could be many reviews stating various problems like difficult to clean or coffee not consistent quantity etc.. it just means they dont know how to use it. I am going write an elaborated review as much as possible but in short- its the best nespresso machine.

Features..
1. Coffee 5*: Being an amid coffee lover, this machine is the best I have seen. The coffee taste depends on many factors, like the pods you use, the milk etc etc. So you need to fiddle with the best pods suitable for you. Once you find that, you will be amazed for sure. The smell it gives when the coffee is made is a bliss. Its as good as the coffee you get in a coffee shop. I would say its far better because you are not paying 4 bucks for it.

2. Quantity: If you are complaining about the less or more quantity, please go read the manual again. It has all the instructions for modifying the default settings so we can change the amount of milk/coffee dispensed for each and every type of mix.

3. Cleaning: I clean is every couple of days. Its easy. Soak them in a bowl of soap water for overnight and rinse next day. Very easy to remove and assemble back. I have done is numerous time now. To avoid frequent cleaning, I fill the whole milk container to the max level and put it back in the fridge once i made the coffee. This will keep things clean and healthy. People who complain this is difficult to clean, trust me this is their first machine that has milk frother inbuilt.

4. Descaling: When you get the machine first you need to set the ph level and the machine will warn based on this i think. I have soft water system installed and this warning came up pretty quick. To descale it, i bought a descaling kit from local shop and it worked a lot cheaper than the nespresso one.

5. Pods: Every pod thats compatible with a nespresso machine is compatible with it. I have tried the local stores one to the expensive nespresso/startbucks ones.

Pros:
Best coffee mc with minimal maintenance.

Cons:
Only 2 i can think of,
1. Coffee temperature is low for my liking. Needs to be consumed immediately.
2. Pods are a waste to environment. But then all pod machines are. so.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden!
Die Maschine macht einfach den perfekten Kaffee Latte oder Cappuccino. Der Milchschaum lsst sich nach Belieben variieren, Menge, Festigkeit und immer perfekt. Das war fr mich das wichtigste Kriterium. Zudem ist der milchbehlter leicht zu reinigen. Nach jeder Benutzung und darf in die Splmaschine. Zwischendrin kann man ihn einfach in den Khlschrank stellen.
Das der Nespresso Kaffee an sich toll ist, brauch ich wohl nicht extra erwhnen.

Auch gefllt mir die Gre der Maschine gut, deutlich kleiner als ein Kaffeevollautomat und auch kleiner als eine normale Filtermaschine.

Too much froth for a latte
Great product. Easy to use and clean and coffee tastes great. The only issue I would say is even on the lowest setting the milk frother makes a bit too much for a latte and since I drink mostly latte style coffee it’s a pain at times. Great for a cappuccino however and all other short style coffees.

Not as advertised
This was bought to replace an identical model which developed a leak into the capsule tray so I was familiar with its use and happy to purchase again BUT , my previous one was black and fitted the decor of the kitchen and in particular the black granite worktops, this wax is advertised and sold as black but is actually grey, couldn’t be a***d to send it back and search for a new one so a, having to live with it.

Better than the coffee shops!
Really good machine, I’m not longer going back to the other brands such as Tassimo or dolche. This one gives you, perhaps a better than coffee shop style coffee!
It’s reletively easy to clean as everything seems to come apart and is dishwasher friendly.
This next bit might seem a bit picky to most but when you make a latte from this machine the froth from the milk doesn’t go down like other machines. Even from a coffee shop, you usually end up with liquid towards the end if you leave it a few mins! For me this is a big thing and I’m throughly impressed by this machine.

Really enjoying this coffee machine so far. It’s the first one I’ve owned so no comparison between others but have been impressed by the ease of use and coffee taste.

Super easy to clean and empty the capsules after use – the tray opens from the front where as some you have to fiddle around the back to extract. Milk container detaches easily and sits in the door of a fridge between uses.

The only thing I can think might be an issue for some is the small size of the water container. Not an issue for me as I only use it for myself but a family would need to full it regularly – after 4 or 5 coffees. It’s a 30 second job though and I can see the logic of it being smallish with the machine aiming to be compact.

I also use the plastic free Roar and Gill capsules which make great coffee and are better for the environme

A fantastic machine that makes better drinks than my employer's £2k machine
I purchased this machine some time ago from the Amazon Warehouse, for 96, and it turned out to be in perfect condition with just a slight dent to the box – obviously, I was very pleased about the saving!

The machine is easy to use; Remove the water container from the back by lifting up, then fill and replace. Lift up the lever on the top and insert a pod, push down the lever and turn the machine on. The available drinks will light up – if you don’t already have the milk frother connected then you will only be able to select the top two drinks which are Espresso and Lungo. If you connect the milk frother by slotting it into the right-hand-side of the machine, then you can also select from Capuccino, Latte, Latte Macchiato and Frothed Milk.
Once you have selected a drink, it will automatically begin to heat the water and / or milk before dispensing. In total it should take a minute or less for most drinks.

The milk frother produces excellent tasting milky drinks, and also allows you to customise the amount of milk dispensed by changing a dial on the top. I always use small cups and the smallest milk setting will just about fill my cup with a Capuccino without overflowing.

You do have the option to customise the amount of water it dispenses for each drink, to change the size of your espresso or lungo. I have done this a couple of times but it is difficult to remember how to do this, but Googling how to do it brings up plenty of results (it is also mentioned in the manual).

To clean, the pod capture compartment is removable, as well as the drip tray. The milk frother has several components which can be removed by twisting, and the water container easily pulls out. All of these components can be cleaned in a dishwasher, but for the rest of the machine I would suggest an antibacterial wipe.

Because the internal components are quite small it will suffer from limescale, even if you filter your water. In the last nine months I have descaled it twice, so I would say you should expect to descale every 4-5 months if it is used around five times per day. This is easy enough to do and just requires you to lift a flap at the front under the milk frother, which reveals a removable pipe which fits into the milk frother outlet. This then enables the Descale function, where you will need to situate bowls over the spouts at the front to capture the descaled water, after adding acid into the water tank.

Be careful after descaling, as I once had a very acidic Capuccino after not running water through it to clear out the descaling fluid.

All in all I am extremely happy with my purchase, especially as it produces far nicer drinks than my employer’s 2,000 coffee machine (and I’ve been working from home all this time). If you love Nespresso, I think this would be a fantastic purchase even at full price.
