This is an excellent toaster provided you do 2 slice of toast together . If you only do 1 slice it only toasts on one side . Love the fact than you can raise the toast to check how it doing
The build quality is excellent. I like my toast lightly done and find it hard to get it evenly done on both sides. the one side is perfect the other well done or not done enough

The best toaster I have ever owned and I have owned a lot of toasters. It feels solid and high quality, it toasts homogeneously and reasonably fast and the timer (although not visible) is good and very progressive.
I far prefer this toaster to the more expensive Dualit to the more classic and more popular Dualit Vario toaster which my parents own.

It’s brilliant to be able to lift the bread to check roasting progress without resetting the timer. One sided toasting is excellent for bagels.
Pro tip: you probably won’t need to go much higher than 3 to toast most things, unless you like charcoal. It’s fast!

We all love this toaster in our house. No fuss, dependable, easy to learn settings, does what is should, doesn’t burn. I know it’s only a toaster but this one is special!
Great product but only downside is that one side of toasted bread gets burn.
It proved very difficult to find the perfect toaster – you would think it’s a simple product! This is pretty good – looks nice, the sides and front stay cool and the controls are neat. I like that each side can operate at different setting but it does not toast evenly on both sides – maybe it needs to bed in a bit. Had hoped by spending a bit more it would do a perfect job but it’s not quite 5 star.

I have had this toaster for just over a month and so far it has worked as expected. I also have the matching kettle as well. I am happy with my purchase overall, hopefully, this toaster will continue to work well.
You cannot get any better than Dualit… Top of the range toaster. Some might say it is rather expensive but I would rather pay for a good quality product than some second rate nonsense. This toaster is not only stylish, elegant and eye catching, it is also very easy to use and robust. Love my toaster sooooo much that I bought the matching kettle too!!!

Love the functionality of this toaster & how it looks. The ability to see how your toast etc. is doing without popping it is such a simple concept… but saved scraping the burnt bits. I have also purchased the toaster cages for them unit – brilliant. Those small pieces of bread, flat bread, crumpets can b transferred out ofvthe toaster safely. A small price after the cost of the toaste

First Toaster I have bought that I can actually toast bread beautifully set at number 5. In over 46 years of marriage all the toasters I have bought burn on number 1-2. A joy to be able to colour coordinate it to my new kitchen too.
Took a while to register why it was toasting unevenly but press the bagel button and it made a huge difference!

I would recommend this toaster and would say that by the time you have bought 2 of a cheaper model and wasted you money you would have been better paying the extra in one go and getting a quality product. We are well pleased with it and wished we had bought one years ago – long gone are the days of waiting a week for you toast then it comes out burnt !!

As with most toasters you have to lay bread on its “side” as the toaster isn’t particularly tall

Quality, but at a price. Looks well, and is well used. We already had the kettle to match and look well at each end of the work-top in a basically white kitchen.

browned toast. Wider home cut bread no problem for the slots. Much better than the much more expensive Dualit toaster it replaced.
So far so good1 I love the look of this toaster and although I have only used it a few times I will buy the special cage for toasting crumpets and thicker breads etc.
It’s solid, easy to use, has a modern industrial look to it that enhances my kitchen & is well worth the extra expenditure. As a design ARCHITECT won the 2016 WHICH product review & I can definitely see why. I’ve asked my family to all chip-together to get me the ARCHITECT MULTI-BREW coffee machine for a joint birthday/Xmas present. Honestly I’m in love. It pushes all the other designs into the shade. AND if you fancy a change in colour, you can unscrew the panels & choose from an option of 12 alternatives!!! Genius!

Actually a really nice toaster. The product feels solid in use and toasts evenly. Having tried the cheaper ones for years and having to continually replace this product feels it may last a good time.
Would not purchase anything but Dualit from now on. Well made. Toasts perfectly and ordered the additional baskets so that we can enjoy toasted sandwiches. Heaven!
Excellent product so far. Our previous Dualit, the timer went so was hesitant to purchase another Dualit toaster. However, I feel this range may have been constructed to last 5 or more years.

We have got through a lot of toasters over the years running a bed and breakfast. Bought on recommendation it is so far so good. A very good quality and easy to use.
Great toasters, ours is used at work and produces approx 24 slices every day. Last one worked for 18 months at same work load.
Toasts full length bread properly, no problems getting muffins and crumpets out.

A great purchase, serves a family of 6 well, the toaster does take a bit of getting used to each level of toasting power, but apart from that had no issues over the last few months of use. Expect the toaster to last for a good few years because the build quality is very good. (It should do for the price though )

Cool design all around
Looks a bit out of the ordinary, but stylish, easy to find a consistent setting for most breads, wide slots & high lift saves burnt fingers, walls remain cool – useful with children around, seemed a bit pricey at fist but the longer we have owned it the better we think it well worth the money.

Brilliant toaster. We don’t seem to be able to keep a toaster working well for more than a few months but this one has lasted very well so far and looks to be fully functional for some time to go as it is well built.
I’m not entirely sure what the bagel button does. I bought some bagels just to try it out but it didn’t seem to make much of a difference to the normal route.

Really nice toaster, great features, Quick and quiet. After years of replacing short lived toasters, I have higher hopes for this one simply from the build quality.
Thought we would never find a decent toaster. This one works great and looks good too. Predictable toasting, easy controls. The only thing we miss is a “beep” to tell you the toast is done which the last toaster had. But other than that this is far superior in every way. The “peek” funciont in particular is very helpful when trying to gauge toasting time for a new type of bread…
Great toaster. Love how you can lift whatever you are toasting to view it without turning the toasting process off. Unfortunately, the first one we received was faulty and one side tripped the power out each time you used it. Replacement is great though (purchased elsewhere as no Anazon stock)
Toaster is extremely good. Needed it in a hurry after failure of previous one. Was lucky to find it in warehouse deals, sold as “used” but clearly was brand new in its box. Also had a gift token to help pay for it….otherwise it would have been much too pricey just to make toast! Very well made, looks nice, feels solid.

Quite an industrial looking toaster but we love it and it fits in well with our kitchen design. Takes a bit of getting used to in terms of getting that right level of crispyness for our homemade bread but in the end well worth the money. Toasts evenly and a plus having the 4 slice version which means we can all have warm bread at the same time.
I have been meaning to treat ourselves to a “decent” toaster for ages but have been putting up with the old one for far too long. This Dualit toaster is fabulous, it looks the part and it really does perform well . It is substantial and I think I will have this for years to come.
After a year of use we still like it. Replaced an old classic dualit and this is as good without the retro issues of the original.
Good looking toaster. Toasts bread and bagels well. Particularly like the ability to lift toast up to check how well done it is without having to turn off the filament.
Bery nice looking toaster. Performs well and cooks toast evenly. My only complaint is that the pop up spring seem too weak to pup up certain toasts hogh enough, almost always have to lift up the arm to reach my toast.
I owned the other shape dualit toaster until my evil x wife got it as part of the divorce (and every other item I worked hard for 24 years to obtain) so I thought I would try this item as the other looks a bit dated now. It works great, looks the part and seems to be very well built, its so good I bought another as a gift for friends. Tip Top and worth the money.
Still figuring out the settings though as sometimes it burns toast even though we haven’t moved the dial.

Its sturdy, chunky and exceptionally well made. Sleek lines, sparkling chrome and a perfect white. As soon as it arrived this morning I unpacked and re-arranged my kitchen so that I could display it and use it to its best. I then cut 2 THICK slices of bread from my loaf and they fit in perfectly. The cages inside the slots close around your bread so whatever size you put it in them the slices are held securely. The slots are beautifully WIDE – a whopping 40mm *big smile* and will easily take Bagels. No more toasting Bagels under the grill in my oven which takes forever and uses so much more electricity. A favourite feature of mine of Dualit toasters is the ‘look, see’ facility. Simply lower the bar and the toast pops up so you can see if its done to your liking yet, if not, pop it back down. The controls are sturdy and work perfectly, the blue LED pretty! and my toast was toasted to perfection, even to the top of the slices. No burning and no missed bits. You can toast just two slices at a time and you only power the side that you are using if you are just making two slices. So, no waste of electricity powering the unused slots.
I am delighted and fully expect to have this toaster for the next 16 years. Dualit screams quality to me and once again I have not been disappointed.
