Brilliant set for the creator my little one just loves building using his imagination rather than instructions and this has plenty of different parts to do that! , the box is also great , it comes about half full once you’ve emptied the packets so plenty of room to add more.

I rarely rate a LEGO product high in value for money. Let’s face it, it’s expensive stuff and there are quite a few competitors out there who make discount bricks compatible with LEGO at lower prices. This is great, though; useful storage brick and standard blocks are always good to have. If you’re a LEGO purist and need “bulk bricks,” sets like these are a good choice.
Brought as a Christmas present for my nephews. They loved it and have built lots of different things with it so far. A bonus that it comes in it’s own storage box.
We bought this when it was on offer so it was a great deal for so much Lego including a small baseboard. The set comes with two books of designs that can be made using all the pieces plus you can download an additional design. The storage box is good but it’s a bit disappointing that the lid doesn’t clip down.
For the whole festive season we building everything from the included book, downloading the construction ideas from Lego website and we creating our own building ideas. My Mrs says, she’s not sure who’s got more fun with this – dad or son..
Overall, with the original Lego nothing can go wrong. All elements are made with outstanding precision, there’s a tool for uncoupling the blocks included, a few leaflets with the suggested construction ideas. All in one place.

I bought this for my grandchildren when they visit us. They absolutely love it as there are a lot of pieces and different models to construct from the kits. One of the kits they put in our window, along with two ‘rainbow’ towers and told us we have to keep them there until their next visit. It’s a lovely reminder of them.

there are a couple of booklets included with instructions to build up 10 different items/constructions- we have spent a good couple of hours only to complete one booklet… and then game time with those 5 :):)

After quite a lot shopping around, I am glad that I settled on this kit for my niece- as this is definitely the best value I managed to find on amazon or the lego store. However, I was shocked by just how light it felt when it arrived!
Perhaps I had unrealistic expectations, as I have fond memories of digging through a big box of lego with my siblings. This isn’t quite that, but seems a good enough place to start. I certainly wouldn’t get anything that has fewer pieces than this!

This product is very good for talents. You can make almost everything you want.
Great value set, designed for free play but does come with some examples to make with instructions. For free play you really need more of the “standard” blocks so you might want to buy some of those separately. A great starter kit though and the usual genuine LEGO quality. Highly recommended!
Brilliant, pre packed objects to build, also mix it up & use your own imagination. I get for an autistic child & finds the instruction easy to follow, we would be lost without our lego!!!

It’s a big box of Lego! Perfect for getting youngsters into building simple things and learn the basics before progressing to more complex sets. Lots of different shapes and sizes and some wheels to make houses, cars, or anything your imagination wants to try.
Hours of fun would be an understatement. With Lego sets these days containing so many custom pieces designed for that particular set we wanted the kids to have a trove of pieces that can be used to make anything. This is exactly what we were after and it contains so much variety. It could be a little cheaper, but that’s Lego all over.
Real excellent Lego set. I got it as a present for my 5 year old nephew. The box comes full of lego, I wasn’t expecting that as some of the reviews made it seem like it would only be half full. Anyway, its kept them entertained for hours and its great to have a box to store it all in. I’m definitely going to get it for my son’s birthday next year. Fully recommend it.

Bought to top up my kids LEGO, 790 pieces sounds a lot but not really lots of Lego dots in there so actual bricks probably 200?? there are doors, windows, eyes etc. Good set. worth it for the sale price i paid!
I got this for my son who is four, he had never played with lego and thought this was a good starter, he absolutely loves it, this is more than enough to keep him busy, the box also contains great clear instructions on how to build some vehicles, he has spent countless QUIET hours building and playing, I don’t think this will be the last set we will buy.
Bought for my 4 year old granddaughter, as I played with Lego from my childhood, yes im not that old, but we did ride on dinosaurs before school. Good strong plastic box to store all her creations, so a few hours of quiet for not a bad price.
My daughter (almost 4) loves it.
She usually is not able to focus to finnish anything. And for now, she is achieving to start and finish any masterpiece following the introductions from the start to the end. Obviously with our support, but still great for her
The only thing I would say is the plastic container box is a little bit flimsy, it wouldn’t hurt to make it a little bit more sturdy
After reading lots of reviews I sent this set to my 3 young grandchildren. It seemed a better deal than the 1500 piece set . What more can you say, everyone loves Lego.
Bought to increase the number of LEGO blocks we have. Comes with simple instructions and ideas on building a variety of LEGO-items (camera, animals, buildings etc) Sadly only comes with one floor tile piece – would have liked more. A nice addition to our collection – not entirely sure it would be enough to start a collection off though.
We bought this to give our daughter more pieces for the various models that she makes, in addition to her existing fairly large collection of Lego’s themed kits (Frozen, Friends). Seems to work fine. As a stand alone kit I don’t think it’s particularly exciting.
It was the perfect toy for a seven year old to have during lockdown. I have also ordered other Lego boxes to go with it: The camping Lego set and some extra bases to be able to build better. It turned out to be a great success!
Great selection of pieces and colours. Two books with suggestions included too. Bought to entertain my 4 year old now that nurseries are closed, think I shall also be entertained. It is expensive but then genuine Lego is, but it is worth it. Comes in a storage box which will hold more lego.
A good starter box with lots of potential. My 5 year old has been playing with it almost all day now!
Others have complained about the size of the box being misleadingly large. The box is much bigger than the total volume of Lego when in pieces, but this gives you somewhere to store models as well.
Only two real negatives:
1) could definitely benefit from more wheels
2) no people
Compared to film branded Lego sets this represents significantly better value.

I got this for my youngest granddaughter as she has now discovered Lego and pinches her sisters. I got this one as it’s for imagination building and you don’t have to build set things.
The range of pieces are incredible and the building options nearly limitless – there is nothing better.
Great set for all ages. Some smaller pieces that are good for making more intricate models. The instructions had some lovely ideas to build and my 8 year old built all of them without any help.
A really excellent starter set. My daughter has just turned 4 and was ready to graduate from Duplo to “grown up ” lego. This lit provides plenty of blocks for her to experiment with and instructions for specific creations. I particularly like how she can build all of these models at once…no two require the exact same pieces.
Very happy with this purchase, was cheaper than shops, has more pieces for value than sets & will keep kids entertained for hours.

I bought this Lego Set as a xmas present for 2 boys aged 3 and 6. They love playing with Lego. The box is huge and sturdy. Handy for putting all the Lego that they play with being put away before you end up standing on a piece.
We got this Lego box whilst it was on offer. We wanted extra lego and the box would be handy for storage. Having previously had the Duplo boxes like this, I was surprised by the cheaper plastic feel to the box – it does the job, but need to keep an aye on the little ones in terms of trying to sit/step on it, unlike the more indestructible Dulpo boxes.
But Lego is still fantastic!
Bought as a Xmas gift for my son and its taken me back to my childhood. I didn’t know you still got these lego storage style boxes with the lego, which is great as my son has tones which are needing put away. Great amount of lego, box is great quality and overall happy with the product.
This tub was bought for my grandsons 4th birthday. He opened the wrapper and loved it from the start. He said he liked the big brick. I was pleased.
When I received the tub I checked it it was very sturdy and easy to handle. The pictures were easy enough especially for his mother’s and his ability to build. His mum is a photographer and the box had the picture of a.camera.So he was.well please. All in all well worth the money.
Lego box. Can’t fault it! Excellent range of shape and colours, and sufficient number to build aplenty. 4 yo son loves it (much to my delight!) and really boosted his imagination and fine motor skills.
It’s Lego, you know what you’re getting. Good price at discounted rate, and nice storage box. The 700+ pieces fills about 1/2 the box, but that’s probably a good thing. Only one small base board supplied, would recommend to others investing in bigger board alongside this set. Book supplied with a few basic ideas
This has created hours of fun for both of our children (girls) and allowed them to experiment and build things from their own imagination. Lego app also has plans for things that can be build once you have this kit.
The storage box has more than enough spare space in it to accomodate other lego parts.
We got this set for our 5yr old who started to be interested in bricks. Set is good for building small objects but contains not enough bricks to build a house. Diversity of pieces is fine but don’t expect too much of it. It’s ok for a kid who starts with lego but not for more advanced kids. A bit too expensive for the amount of pieces and no figures at all in the set which was disappointing for little one. Overall good set if it comes to quality.
Bought for grandson to replace rubbish walkie talkies. He absolutely loves this and his mum is pleased with it to as he enjoys this so much plays with it every day
An excellent selection of basic bricks (plus a fair few extras, like 1×1 round plate printed eyes of various expressions). It comes with some simple build instructions, so it is great for kids to muck around with and for bigger kids to bolster their brick collection.
God selection of things. Just wish it had a reasonable sized base plate wih it. However, buying one didn’t cost that much.

Great value for money.
This set has a wide range of blocks so that the kids can make whatever they want or there a book with instructions for a range of designs. It’s a great starter set but if they like to use it you will need more sets to have enough blocks for bigger designs. There are no Lego people so you would need to get them from other set or but them separately
This arrived within 2 days to abroad – which was very impressive. The lego is is fantastic, colourful and has delightful pieces and instructions. My 3 year old daughter has been playing happily with it all day.

You need to buy the big mats seperately but other than that, it’s hours of fun.

I despise lego, firstly because I always stand on it! Secondly because it’s extremely over priced, I hate the use of smaller pieces to bulk out the 900 prices they boast. This box was a quatre full if that and imo not worth the hefty price tag Lego charge.
We actually bought 4 boxes of an alternative brick range with 1000 prices each to fill this box.
Pros.
1. My child loves lego, it could have 5 peices and he would still be exstatic!
Cons.
1. Overpriced for the amount inside
2. Bulked out with lots of smaller pieces
3. The smaller peices hurt when stood on unexpectedly!
It was packaged well, it was on time and it’s a brilliant product perfect for children as a starter set lots in it (Lego is expensive) this is a good really happy my little boy was very excited.

Loads of space in the box, so you can put any other lego sets into it for a convenient storage solution for the lego. Well worth the price.

Upon opening the box for the first time it looks pretty full but once all the contents of the bags are emptied the box is only about a third of the way full. It’s a bit disappointing but there’s enough there to get a person started and there’s room to add to the Lego collection over time. The box is plastic which is sturdy and saves you having to buy a separate container too. I paid 27.99 for this and thought it was worth the money – especially when you compare the price piece by piece with a predesigned set – but I wouldn’t pay any more than this.

Bought this on offer at 25 and it is a great value box of lego with lots of simple bricks, with some nice additions; wheels, doors, windows, shaped pieces, etc. Great for encouraging imaginative play, as isn’t a specific set. Also has a great range of colours and some suggestions if what to build on the box. Even though you get a lot of pieces in this box, it still only fills about 25% of the yellow plastic box, so also great for storing other lego in. Well worth the money for what you get.
I was starting to give up hope that you could still find Lego as it used to be. In a bucket, use your imagination instead of having a specific model to build.
It’s exactly as I remember.. I got it for my three year old daughter but I think I’ve spent more time playing with it than she has.
I like the little booklet with ideas for things to build, she loves going through it tasking me with a build for the day.
It’s a little pricey but it’s worth it for the nostalgia and hours & hours of watching adults battling the kids for the pieces they need.
I debated on either getting this larger set or the medium one – so glad I choose this larger set. It’s brilliant! My 3.5 yr old was completely enthralled by this set! She has Duplos and shown interest in what she calls “small Legos”. We just found some of the husband’s old Legos that she seemed interested in, but decided get her own set. It comes with easy, detailed instructions (for a house, bird, and a scooter) and provides pictures of 6 other objects you can build with the set (without having to reuse any of the other pieces). She’s built the house, bear, and scooter all in one night! The bear’s instructions were easily obtained through their online site (PDF) making it easier to read with any tablet or mobile device. I can not believe how engaged she was in making everything. She loves all the colors provided and it was such an absolute hit that I do not believe it could have ever gone any better. It is the perfect set to graduate into.
We bought this for our two children, aged 4 & 8. They have had the chucky Lego since being babies abands it felt like time to move on. My 8 year old had been into Lego Friends for a few years anyway.
