I bought this for a friend of mine who has been admitted to care home. He is having difficult operating it due the small buttons. I would’ve returned it but difficult as it was a present.
Amazon was the cheapest place I had seen this starter kit for my little boy for Christmas and it was well worth it. It comes with ideas of what to build inside and still has room in the box for any other lego so it’s great for storage!
Good product. Blocks need a to be aligned well and they need a bit of force to snap together. It is somehow challenging for younger kids, especially when handling small parts. Some parts are really small, so keep small chidden away!
I love lego myself so I found myself diving in with them and making some stuff., the box is a good container but I wish the lid was able to be clipped on, as one the packaging is removed it freely comes off but this is a minor gripe.
This item is fabulous value for money. My little girl loves Lego and she saved some of her pocket money to put towards this and she was ecstatic. Builds so many different figures….camera, motorbike, bunny, castle, house

Lovely colour compared to the traditional.
The building plate could be a bit bigger though, i’d suggest getting a bigger in addition.

This is the best Lego set to start with for a 4 year old kid, It has good amount of bricks. Unfortunately couple of clear glass pieces are missing from our set, Thats why have reduced a star otherwise 5/5 product.

Includes a cute book with instructions on how to make different things. Comes with all of the block colours in seperate bags. Recipient had a lot of fun with it.
I bought this for my little granddaughter as a Christmas present. It became instantly one of her favourite presents spending hours on end building things and being creative. So pleased! The container storage box is also very useful to keep all the bits stored in one very handy place after her creative playing sessions. Highly recommended kit.
Good selection of Lego with lots of fun projects to build brought for grandsons who are 4 and 6 but would be fine for older ages as you can of course create your own projects.
Would of expected a base plate to be included but apparently that is sol separately otherwise the kit is ok
Bought this for my 4 year old boy – he absolutely loves it and is now a big Lego fan. Have it month now and he has nearly forgotten about tv. Loads of pieces to create what ever the imagination produces. Also a guidebook and loads of other instructions online.

Quoted a big box of lego for my daughter to build whatever she wanted without having to follow instructions, but this big box has lots of little bits to make the models in the ideas booklet without having many “standard” lego blocks (not a single white block either) so not great value for money

This is a great set for a beginner. The little models that you can build are great and the box is a decent size to keep and add more lego as your collection (of loose lego) grows. My only gripe is that the lid does not secure too well. But this is not worthy of loosing a STAR over.

Just as good as I remember it, from my own childhood.
It has everything you expect from Lego, it is sturdy, colourful and fun to play with. It comes with 2 set of step by step instruction booklets with lots of building ideas.
Bought for my 4yr old grandson, arrived well packaged and I like that it’s in a plastic case. Base boards not as big as I expected but that’s my fault for not not reading sizes properly!! Quite a few tiny pieces in this set, ie a tiny bulb counts as 1 piece, Iv kept all the colours in separate bags because I imagine if you put them all together in the tub it would be hard to find some of the tiny pieces which you need to make the models. I personally feel its a tad expensive for what you get but my grandson enjoys playing with it. There is also a small booklet comes with it showing you how to make different models which is very easy to follow.
Present for grandson who was delighted with it. Good starter kit.

I’m a new to Lego AFOL and this set is a nice introduction set but be warned – once you start, you will end up buying more and more Lego t9 fill your new craving haha. The storage box is a great bonus
Great set for adding to existing sets to be able to free-build your own ideas. Also extra storage. What’s not to love.
Desperately needed some lego bricks and this was the only set that kind of offered that in any volume. Lots of other pieces too would of been better to have just more bricks.
Not kidding when one of the reviewers was saying you need to get your own external base plates. Otherwise it’s a good enough starter set with plenty enough for a toddler.
The storage box it comes in is big compared to the amount of Lego which at best fills about a quarter of the box.
