I bought this as a refurb unit. It arrived before the expected date (which was great). It looked to me as brand new. Works perfectly and very easy to use. Not yet used the remote control to a point I feel I could comment on it but seems to work fine. My daughter can now get to sleep in these hot evenings. It doesn’t chill the water you put in, but 2 small ice packs come supplied that do the job. I have also used ice in the container which work well too.

Love this portable air conditioning unit.
Its been a godsend with the heat in the UK.
Only down side is that its quite noisy if you have it on during the night.

This air cooler really saved me during the heatwave where it got to 40c a few weeks ago.
I bought it a week before and it was perfect. It wasn’t too noisy, nor was it too difficult to set up and get working!

One issue was that after having it on all day it made the room very humid & if you aren’t directly within the air flow coming out then it won’t cool the room.

It’s a big fan with that actually shoots out cold air. If you want an air con this isn’t what you’re looking for. But it will keep you cool if you are next to it!

Bought this just over a month ago in preparation for a possible hot summer and I wanted something more than a bog standard fan but without spending a fortune on AC. This turned out to be a reasonable half way house.

I first tried it out on a couple of warm nights, the fan is powerful and not as noisy as my old one, and I loved the remote control function. The addition of water and ice/ice packs makes a subtle difference that I didn’t immediately notice but after an hour or so I did feel cooler.

As others have noted, removing the drawer to fill it with water is fiddly and detaching the pump is not immediately straightforward. I did have to study the instructions (one diagram!) and have a few practice goes before trying it with water in. More detailed instructions would help with this. But once I figured it out it was quite straightforward.

The real test for the unit came with the heat wave earlier this week. All I can say is, it did it’s best! The addition of water meant that it wasn’t just blowing around hot air like a traditional fan but it wasn’t cold air either. I’ve definitely had worse nights but it was still uncomfortable.

Overall, better than a regular fan and I am pleased with my purchase – it’s a reasonable halfway house between a standard fan and an AC. If you are thinking of buying one set your expectations appropriately and you’ll be fine.

I didn’t have high expectations having bought a similar fan last year but this one is great. It’s powerful, easy to move about and not too noisy. In the current heatwave (Uk) the room it was in was the coolest even with fans in other rooms. The ice blocks don’t seem to make any difference to the cool air but it still does blow cool air around with water in. All of the pets congregated in front of it yesterday – hottest day on record. Would definitely recommend.

Purchased for my 92 year old Mum, and although it can only be used in the one room, (she is too frail to move it and I live 220 miles away) that one room is cool and she is safe from this extreme heat. It works well she tells me and is so happy to have one cool room.

I have only given 4 stars because although it says it can be set for 7 hours , the 5ltr tank was down to 1/4 after 3 hours, so presumably it would have tuned itself off when it reached minimum. So I doubt it would run all night. It does work well though and made the bedroom comfortable to sleep in. I could be a little overpriced.

This is great for room cooling, make a note of how the motor comes out because you have to put it in the exact way it came out only it’ll be underwater obscured by ice cubes.
At 29 degrees outside this is doing a great job of keeping the room cool and my dog loves it. I read some reviews that say the fan was blowing only warm air and this happend to me, I took the back off (just pulls off) and noticed water wasn’t tricking through the machine but a little nudge of the water tank solved the problem and the water flowed through how it should.
Very simple to use and it’s not noisy at all.
To solve the disconnecting the motor everytime to fill it I just poured the water in the back and threw in a couple of pints of ice in it by half opening the water container.
    Really happy with i

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersHello fellow buyers,

Just want to share my thoughts/ inputs regarding the device. It is well made and the design is nice. It is easy to install and easy to use. The noise level of the device is good just like a fan. It is easy to manuever because it is light weight and has wheels. Coolness level it can’t compete with the airconditiong unit however, it can manage to give to you comfort and a good night sleep.

Above is the video on how to unlock and detach the container from the pump. Enjoy

With ice blocks and a full water tank, this is slightly better than my 30 power fan I had already. It really isn’t a massive upgrade on that fan though and it is far more expensive and far bulkier.

You really need 3/4 ice blocks in this to make it work well and it only comes with 2, so definitely have more of these if you plan to buy this cooler. Know that it is nothing close to air-con, but it is likely to do a better job than a fan.

After looking at air conditioning this summer we decided to buy this product instead.
Wow, after thinking it might not cool us down we were mistaken.
Fill up the tank with cold water or for extra cold air use the ice coolers and we had a room which was cool even during the 28 degrees we had a few months ago! Our dogs and family were lovely and cool and we could move it to the kitchen when we needed it. No need for putting hoses out of windows with air conditioner and one tank of water lasts ages. One tip though be sure to clean it and also the filter as it needs maintenance every couple of weeks

I knew a heatwave was coming 16/07/2021 and as I am in digs in a caravan for work thought I had better get one.
Very impressed, up and running in 5 mins.
Van was 32C locked up all day! at 12:30 when I got back.
Brilliant peice of kit although I was sceptical like a few others but no! here I am basking in lovely cool air with the windows shut. It wont take the room temps down much but 100% better than a fan which eventually dries me out but the humidity coming from the cooler is making it very comfortable.
It’s expensive for what is basically a fan, waterfall, pump and some nice settings including the remote, it is however high quality and trust you wont want a cheapie breaking down in a heatwave.
Have not needed to use the ice packs yet just cold water, good also to note there is a nice filter on the back giving the air a clean up and I believe it traps particles in the water for when you chuck it down the drain, pollen and all detritus in the air.
    Not needed full power yet.

    Reaaly good, really impressed.

I like the cooler, but it’s not as cold as I thought it would be, even with the two ice packs. The remote isn’t very clear.
The instructions weren’t very explanatory either.
On the whole I would still recommend it, as I don’t think it was expensive. Quite effective, though not as quiet as I thought it would be in night mode.

  42. Anonymous says:

This are cooler did exactly what is should and it you load up the water tank with ice or use the provided ice block you do get cool air pumped out and I can’t fault it for this.

unfortunately for my south facing office room this wasn’t enough to take the heat off, i could feel the cool air if i had the unit straight next to me but it was short lives unfortunately, but again no fault of the product.

Unit looks good and functions as expected, so if your looking for something cheaper than aircon and will pump some cool air , then this will do the job I returned mine and spent out on and full air con uni

  43. Anonymous says:

     United Kingdom

There’s a latch to open the water reservoir then you move another latch to remove the pump, this can be a little difficult. Once you’ve mastered it the machine works perfectly.

Top tip put lots of ice in and set it away for a few hours first, this will cool the room down.

The timer works well along with the fan function.

It actually produces cool air, even without the water mode activated. I’ve had three before – one was 90, the next 100, the next was 130 and then this one. All of the others went back pretty quickly. They worked reasonably well for a short period of time but all ran into issues. This type of cooler will never be as good as an actual air-con unit but is definitely the next best thing. It’s pretty well built too considering the price. The other models made me doubt if evaporative cooling units actually worked but this has proven a skeptical mind otherwise. The only downside is that I find it a little loud but cannot complain for the price.

This unit is portable which is handy, no tube.
It does a good job of cooling the area around it. I had it in my office and was suitably cooled. I tried to cool down my living room but putting the machine in there but it didnt cool the room. So it works to cool you down but not a room.

Very good air cooler, takes a rooms temperature down by about 4-5*c.

My only issue is that the water tank gets a yellow type of algae, and needs to be cleaned each day of use or everytime you refill the tank.

Golden Review Award: 37 From Our UsersI ordered this item just in time before the heatwave came. I am a person that really feels the heat and I am miserable when hot especially at night when it’s so muggy you can’t sleep. I saw some others that were cheaper but after carefully researching the item I found that the others were not as powerful. I love this product this machine really does work, sometimes I have to move it further away as It can get quiet cold, I have found that for me I do not need the ice packs and the water from the tap works just fine. It is not an air conditioner it is an air cooler so don’t expect it to cool the whole room down but it is excellent when you are 12 metres away to cool you. The item is on wheels so easy to move and the remote is a great addition. The only thing that I would say is a little fiddly at first is learning how to lock the pump in place you get the hang of it but I always feel like I need to be extra careful with it as I am worried I will pull the wires out but don’t let that put you off it is really an amazing product you will no longer have to put your regular fan on and feel warm air circulate around your room it’s worth it’s weight in gold.

It’s simple to use and quite powerful my only gripe is that you only get 2 ice packs and it’s been so hot i’ve been using both so had to buy spares to go in the freezer, it really needs to come with 4 ice packs – but other than that it’s AMAZING!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersHad this product for a few weeks now and can say, that I am happy with the purchase.

The cooler is easy to move around and is quiet enough for me, even at max fan speed.

Its being used in a small box room and really helps to keep the room cool.
Mostly using it with cold water & the 2 supplied ice packs. Even without these, using just the fan alone, performance is good.

My only wish would be for the pump fitting to be engineered better. Got the hang of it now but its still a struggle with the pump, the ice packs floating in your way and the weight of the water all making the fitting like something from a comedy sketch. I still cant manage the fitting (pump and water tray + ice packs) without spilling water around the unit. Not good when you need to plug the thing into a wall socket.

Extended warranty for an extra 2 years for 20 was a welcomed deal.

Apart from the one issue, product is cool and I am happy.

What its like over a time period, time will tell.
The unit is very quiet, easy to fill and empty, nice size, not intrusive looking in the lounge, easy to carry if required, not only that, filled with cold water, even blows out cold air. I don’t know if I will remain cool when we reach high temperatures again, but at this moment in time, My wife and I are very pleased with the unit.
I have spoken to the staff who supply these: found them very friendly and helpful.

This portable cooler works perfectly with excellent features giving multiple cooling options. The 10 litre water tank gives several hours of continuous cooling. The remote control feature works well and the cooler is very quiet when running. Overall this is a well designed unit. The best results are achieved by maintaining the 10 litre tank water temperature at a low level with the use of ice and the ice modules supplied.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersOverall, the product is well designed and looks good. It is a good compact square format, easy to move around, very easy to set-up and very easy to use. (in spite of what other reviewers have written)

It is effective in making you feel cooler but is limited in how much it will actually cool a room. After testing, it seemed it would only change the temperature of a room by around 1 degree C or so, at best.

Good array of functions. Great for humidifying my dry flat too.

Only cons were the remote has no indicators on it so you don’t actually know what mode you’re on unless you get up and look at the top of the unit. The remote is also quite ugly with a sad mint green colour. Looks like the equipment you would see in a hospital.

The Water tank isn’t so smooth to take in and out as the pump cable on mine gets in the way a little bit.

On the whole, I would really recommend this.

Simple to use, looks good and reasonably effective.

Tried out in a small bedroom and even just with cold water it brought the temperature down in the room by 2.5 degrees in about half an hour, really impressed, the only downside is the noise even on night mode it is quite noisy.

PS – But it dose make some noises ones in a while probably because of the dust that gets into the main fan.

    Simply Amazing !

This is one of the best purchases we have made recently, really cooled the room down when we had the hot days in the summer. The only grumble is that the tank could be a bit more easier to take out, have to take pump out, but we just used a jug in the end.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersIt is easy to set up and use. I set it up for my 84 yr old mother and I replace the water for her but it’s easy enough for her to turn on and off. It provides a flow of cooler air much better than the fan she had. It’s not an air conditioner obviously so doesn’t really cool a room with large sunny window but air flow to where my mother sits is cool so it works for her. The airflow settings give nice control too. Tank full of water lasts well for around 6 hours on mid rate air flow. Has helped a lot on hot days.

Product was exactly what I expected. Kept freezer packs rotated and worked well.

Golden Review Award: 32 From Our UsersWe liked the design of the unit, it fits in well into any room. It is on wheels making it easy to move around if needed. It is light enough to carry upstairs with no water in it. There is nothing to dislike. It has a number of options for use and the remote is useful. It was well received during the hot weathe

I liked the nice cool breeze when ice packs are added to the water. We really needed it this summer. The night mode is ideal as the fan stays at a a constant noise level but makes a sudden stop which at first waken up . The unit has well designed look and doesn’t take up much space.it appears to be well built with nice rounded edges and a clean look. Controls are easy to use . Couldn’t have slept some nights without it. It is good value considering the price for similar products. You may notice condensation on your windows some mornings this may be a drawback .

Does the work of a powerful fan, quite expensive for it’s capacity but easy to handle and move around, noisy but not too disturbing, like an old air conditioning system . Has a tank that needs to be filled with cold water and ice all the time in order to blow some cold ai

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis air cooler is the best I have ever had (and I have had a few in recent years). It sends a fantastic amount of cool (cold if you use ice packs and cubes) air into the room immediately after turning on. The noise level is quite surprising considering the size of the cooler. It is no noisier than any other household fan. On the lowest setting it is barely audible. The water chamber is also the largest I have seen in any air cooler (5 litre) and therefore lasts quite a long while (no more watching the water level and constantly topping up). On the lowest setting the unit did not need re-filling for more than 7 hours. Apart from having a window at the front there is also an alarm (beeping sound) that tells you when the water level is getting low. It also comes with a remote control so you don’t even have to leave your chair to alter the settings. Overall this air cooler is a must for anyone suffering in these hot and muggy Summer days and nights. Not only is it a fantastic device but it also looks good too. And with next day delivery what more could you ask for. This air cooler has kept my living room nice and cool making the days bearable. I am seriously considering getting another one for my bedroom.

Bought this in preparation for the recent heatwave. It keep the main living area cool and we used it all day on the very hot days. It is a very useful addition to the household for our increasingly hot spells. I would definitely recommend.

As soon as it arrived its been on nearly 24 hours a day. Not to noisey, easy to set up and use. Creates a nice cooling breeze especially with the ice blocks. Sleep mode is good to. Easier to fill with a jug.

This is a great little unit, for the price I was amazed at how cool it got our bedroom, very easy to use. We are looking to purchase a second unit for our other room.

Excellent product! Gave it a good test in July when the temperature hit over 33 worked fantastic! Put ice cube or ice pack in the water tray. The temperature blown out was lovely and cool. 3/4 tank of water and ice lasts over 3 hours before top up with more water and ice. Very happy with the purchase!

Good fan, smart appearance. Even with ice and the coolers provided l thought it would be a lot cooler air coming out but it is cooler than just a ordernairy fan so overall pleased. The pump could have been designed to come out a bit easier l use a jug to fill!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI purchased this cooler with not very high expectations as I have tried several and none seem to work. Wow how pleasantly surprised was I, this is a fantastic cooler works very well with the ice blocks which are included in the very very reasonable price. The unit is not huge so fits in any surroundings it’s very very portable and easily taken upstairs although I intend purchasing another for upstairs as is certainly affordable and worth the money. It’s well made and very quiet . Good user friendly controls on the actual unit and remote control. I would recommend you buy extra ice block for longer ice cool breeze. Would highly recommend. Work well as just a fan also.

    What a gem

Golden Review Award: 70 From Our UsersEvery time it gets warm I promise myself I’ll buy a better fan and, after looking at a lot of reviews and product specs I chose this one. It was possibly the hottest day of the year when it arrived (today) and we immediately set it up and replaced our old standard fan with this one. Even without the ice blocks (which needed to be put in the freezer for 4 hours) it was very apparent how good this was going to be.
With the ice blocks in it became positively chilly in the living room. We had back and front doors open and there was really no breeze through the house so this fan really does seem to work well. I overjoyed that finally I’ve found something that will enable me to stay cool in warm weather.
Only 1 con – the cat was scared of it 🙂

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersStruggled to sleep because of the heat, a standard fan didn’t achieve much and an air conditioner was out of my price range. This solid piece of tech filled the niche nicely. Takes the edge off those hot sweaty nights. It actually blows cold air! Not ice cold, but cold enough. The fan is powerful too, so even without the water function, it’s better than a fan.

Golden Review Award: 40 From Our UsersOrdered 2 of these for the offices in our house based on the good feedback on Pro Breeze’s other products. I managed my expectations with this product, yes its not an air conditioner, however it does a fantastic job at keeping me cool in my small office. Even with just cold water in the tank, it produces a lovely cool breeze. Considering this unit has a fan running plus a submersible pump, noise level is acceptable when on low, doesn’t annoy me at all in my office.

Only part I can’t comment on currently is its longevity, however will update the review if anything goes wrong.

Would highly recommend this to anyone who works from a home office, its going to save my life this summer! Thanks Pro Breeze!
