Bon confort, pratique pour le vlo, qualit sonore moyenne (on est pas sur des lunettes Bose) mais correcte pour le type d’quipement, par contre la longueur de la partie entre les deux couteurs est trop grande.
La batterie tient au moins 6 heures volume quasi maximum (je n’ai jamais test plus).
Mon tour de tte : 58, cou pas spcialement maigre, et j’aurais largement prfr le petit modle…
Ich habe das Teil stndig auf. Zum meeten, Podcasts oder Musik hren, das erledigt der Kopfhrer sehr gut. Na klar ist das kein Vergleich zu einem geschlossen Bose Kopfhrer, dieses Teil ist aber auch nicht fr HiFi gemacht. Trotzdem ist die Tonqualitt viel besser als erwartet und weit entfernt von blechern.
Haupt Einsatzbereich sollte brigens das Fahrrad sein, damit man die Umgebungsgerusche weiterhin voll wahrnimmt. Dafr ist der Kopfhrer perfekt!
Konstruktionsbedingt ist telefonieren beim Radfahren wegen dem Fahrtwind aber quasi nicht mglich. Sobald man wieder sehr langsam fhrt, ist die Sprachqualitt wieder ausgezeichnet.
Einen Punkt Abzug fr den berhrten mal-sehen-was-der-markt-bezahlt”-Preis. Um die 100 eur wren doch vllig okay gewesen, auch bei einer so innovativen Technik.
Ebenfalls ein Minuspunkt fr das extra Ladekabel, das wre auch eleganter gegangen, zB kontaktlos wie ein Handy.
Prodotto concepito essenzialmente per un utilizzo dinamico in sicurezza come bicicletta o corsa al parco quando necessario non perdere contatto con l’ambiente circostante, caldamente sconsigliato agli amanti dei bassi e del suono cristallino.
L’audio accettabile ma non sufficiente per le mie necessit da ciclista urbano, nel traffico intenso il volume troppo basso (cambia parecchio in base a come si posiziona l’archetto, pu anche darsi che dipenda dalla conformazione del mio cranio) e il microfono non cancella completamente i rumori di fondo (le Airpods Pro funzionano mille volte meglio).
Ottima qualit costruttiva che per non giustifica il prezzo a mio parere troppo elevato, ho preferito renderle, valuter il modello entry-level se dovesse scendere un po’ di prezzo.
Before this headphone, I’ve tried Samsung and iPhone earbuds, no name behind the head headsets, over the head headsets, etc. I just wanted something that was comfortable to wear while doing my daily walk. The earbuds gave me the most terrible headache, like I was in airplane and could not wear it after two days. Once I had this headphone on, it was so comfortable, like I didn’t have anything on! I could increase the volume without, stop, forward, and backwards without taking out my phone! I LOVE IT! My only issue is that sometimes I accidently call the last caller by pressing the button wrongly. Also, I should have bought the mini because this one is slightly too big for my head. Other than that, I LOVE IT!
We bought these for my husband for a few reasons. He is part deaf and wears hearing aids, and he works on commercial sites as a plumber. These are the perfect choice in both those scenarios.
These headphones are perfect because he can wear both his hearing aids and the headphones if he wants to, and one doesn’t interfere or make the other more uncomfortable.
Secondly on the job site he can’t have anything to cancel out his hearing, these headphones are great for hearing everything going on around you while still getting a clear sound for your music, that doesn’t bother other people.
He has absolutely loved these headphones, I could hardly get him to take them off the first week after he got them. He has no complaints in the fit or comfort department.
Lastly, we bought the headphones with an 8 hr battery life expectancy. These headphones lasted his entire 10 hr work day, and even a little while after. Of course there were short breaks where they were not on during his shift, but overall they seemed to noticeably last over 8 hrs. We have yet to see if that will change over time as they are used more.
They are definitely worth the price. No other headphones he has tried have come remotely close to these.
I like these a lot. The audio quality is better than I was expecting. One of the main reasons I got these is because I wear earplugs at work, but these don’t interfere with that at all cause they don’t go in your ear. I heard people say that earplugs don’t change the audio quality but they do, massively.. I was super disappointed at first. All the high frequencies get dulled by the plugs, but the lows don’t, so all you hear is base. Buuuuuut I was able to adjust the EQ of my phone. I just drop the base to 0 and turn then up a few extra notches. Then the highs can make it through the earplugs and the base isn’t too high.
So I had to do some shenanigans to get them to work with earplugs, but in the end their great.
If you don’t plan to use earplugs than don’t even worry about all that. They sound fantastic.
My only major complaint with the headphones is that they have a terrible bluetooth connection to my phone. Its momentary losses in the connection (or so i believe) that ends up sounding like a constant and intermittent crackle and audio drop. Sorta like a wired pair of headphones with a failing cable, and you wiggle the wire and the audio drops. I’ve tried reseting the headphones, which didnt work. I’m currently waiting for a response from Shokz on this issue, but will most likely be returning.
Maybe I got a defective set of headphones? maybe the product is flawed?
I will end up getting another pair because the product, in my opinion, is will be worth it if i get a pair that doesnt have any issues.
Edit: just got a replacement pair and it suffers from the same connection issue as the first. I’m returning and probably wont try shokz again until theres some sort of product fix.
Edit 2: contacted shokz customer support and we found that the A2DP hardware offload setting (android dev settings) was the culprit. The audio was fixed by toggling this setting. Headphones now work with no issues
on conoscevo la possibilit di poter avere una cuffia che non ti limitasse l’udito delle cose che ti circondano in passato ne ho comprate tantissime ma mai nessuna mi ha sin da subito dato estremo piacere di avere una cuffia ma che non sembra neppure una cuffia perch te la dimentichi mentre la indossi, inoltre ha una elevata capacit di ricezione anche a una quindicina di metri dal tuo cellulare e soprattutto una durata delle batterie che non ti ricordi di ricaricarla, sono le 23,30 da questa mattina che le indosso ,non mi danno noia e non mi hanno ancora abbandonato!!! ottimo prodotto lo consiglio a chiunque ha dei dubbi , ciao a presto.
***UPDATE***Headphones started “crackling” with static and lost volume by 1/2. Followed the reset directions, crackling cleared up, but still experiencing reduced volume. Purchased July 2022, update Sept 2022. Cannot figure out how to return/replace with Amazon or Manufacturer.
My husband has had surgery on both ears when he was younger. He has always struggled with ear bud type listening devices staying in his ears. There’s are perfect. He wears them constantly, I have to remind him to take them off sometimes when headed into social situations, so they must be comfortable! In addition since they sit outside the ear, he is able to hear what is going on around him. The sound quality is okay, preferable over nothing at all. If you’re looking for Bose quality, these are not it, but for those that struggle with having something in your ear they are top notch!!! Thinking about ordering myself a set!
Il a un bon son j’coute surtout de la voix. Seul soucis rencontr, est qu’il a une synthse vocale en englais, j’ai tlcharg l’application shokz sur mon iphone, mais elle ne reconnat pas le casque. Je n’ai pas trouv commment modifier la langue.
I’m pretty careful with my things, but somehow have misplaced probably 3 of these over the years. So like the title says, that’s my main complaint. Other complaint is that it uses a proprietary charger which costs something like $15 for a replacement. My last complaint is that you can’t really lay down with these on without potentially doing damage to the band.
Besides the few cons, I still strongly recommend. Very comfortable. Can listen to something while at work, while exercising, wherever… And you’ll still hear what is going on around you. Also, this seems to basically be a rebrand of the Aftershokz Aerope… It’s the same product.
I’ve tried Razer smart glasses too, and while on paper they seem like a much better product, they’re easy to break, quality control issues (missing accessories like their proprietary charging cable), etc… but I digress. Strongly recommend the Openrun.
Ce casque n’est clairement pas pour les audiophiles, mais idal pour l’activit physique et notamment le cyclisme et la course pied. Le son est clair, les basses discrtes. Non ho provato altre cuffie a conduzione ossea quindi non posso fare un confronto, ma la comodit, la concezione di utilizzo rivoluzionaria rispetto alle cuffie classiche in cui il canale uditivo occupato.
Qui la qualit del suono non sar eccelsa da audiofilo ma se non si pretendono bassi da urlo, il resto eccezionale.
Dalle recensioni pensavo di rimanerne un po’ deluso, ma sono impressionanti.
Sto anche seguendo un corso di chitarra con un app e con queste cuffie riesco a sentire benissimo la musica e anche le note che suono, mentre prima (con le cuffie normali) tenevo su soltanto un auricolare.
Il resto delle caratteristiche son quelle che elencano tutti gli altri recensori… direi di provarle assolutamente comunque!
Il prezzo un po’ alto si, sebbene le abbia prese in offerta durante il prime day.
I love these, but the warranty is also important. First, if you get a malfunction and can still get Amazon to replace it, Amazon will be much quicker at getting you the replacement. I’m sure Shokz support will come through with a replacement, but it might be a couple weeks. After 4 business days, Shokz was only emailing that they were reviewing the warranty replacement, not actually sending a replacement. By that time I already had the replacement from Amazon for a device that stopped turning on or charging less than a month after delivery. In my opinion anyone getting these will find it stop working for no apparent reason at some point, and the warranty may be more reliable than the device.
So, just don’t swim with these because they’re not fish, and maybe at least arch an eyebrow at anything else water related, cause we’re human and rinsing off is good to do. Knock your socks off. These things are good for just about everything, but not side-sleeping. I have to sleep on my side and they’re not good for that, kinda uncomfortable then.
Fit comfortably, good controls, great battery advice when turning on. Sound quality good for music and podcasts. Grip firmly but comfortably.
My favorite thing about these headphones is that you can hear both the sound from the headphones and the sound coming from outside the headphones at the same time. They don’t block your hearing of the outside world. This means that they are not really meant to be noise cancelling. So you use them when you WANT to hear the outside world at the same time. For example: GPS directions from your phone while also listening to the conversation going on in your car. The power also lasts a very long time.
The only downside is that these headphones operate on vibration. This means that if you turn them up too loudly you will experience in tickling vibration on your ears. Luckily, the product is very high quality and you don’t need the volume to be at maximum in the first place.
One strange thing about them is that they come with a special. magnetic cord for charging that is unique to the headphones. So you cannot charge these headphones with any other cord you might have in your home. So don’t lose this cord or else you’re out of luck.
I would highly recommend these headphones.
Pour les cts ngatif, il faut avouer que chacun, en fonction de sa morphologie, doit prendre le temps de trouver la position optimale du casque pour bien entendre et ne pas avoir mal sur le dessus des oreilles aprs coute prolonge.
Ensuite, si vous l’utilisez la maison, il est un peu dommage que le bluetooth se coupe plus de 10 m en zone dgage (5 m avec les murs, les portes, etc). C’est une peu court jeune homme ! propos : s’il tait moins cher, j’en achterai un pour chaque membre de la famille. C’est parfait pour les jeunes gens, qui restent ” l’coute” et, dans la mesure du possible, connects aux humains qui les entourent.
Ich hatte die Shokz schon mehrfach gesehen und ernsthaft ber einen Kauf nachgedacht. Aber knapp 140 Euro fand ich dann doch etwas viel. Dieses Jahr waren sie beim Prime Day im Angebot fr 109 Euro und ich habe zugeschlagen.
Natrlich habe ich sie gleich ausprobiert. Und ich bin sehr positiv beeindruckt! Sie liegen bequem vor den Ohren. Die Brillenbgel stren berhaupt nicht. Und ich kann Musik oder Podcasts hren und dabei noch meine Umgebung wahrnehmen. Letztens musste ich mehrere Stunden Auto fahren. Dabei konnte ich die Shokz tragen und trotzdem den Umgebungsgeruschen folgen und so sicher am Straenverkehr teilnehmen.
Ja, die Klangqualitt entspricht nicht hochwertigen in-Ohr-Kopfhrern. Aber das habe ich auch nicht erwartet. Fr den tglichen Gebrauch sind sie aber fr mich die ideale Lsung. Daher von mir 5 Sterne!
J’ai acquis ce casque dans le but de remplacer des oreillettes. Je ne suis pas un spcialiste du son, mais je suis trs satisfait de ce casque et c’est agrable d’entendre les bruits de l’entourage tout en coutant sa musique et c’est largement suffisant lors d’une pratique sportive. Je l’utilise la plupart du temps en salle — vlo, elliptique et course pieds sur le tapis — sans aucun problme.
En plus, je l’ai essay lors d’une sortie vlo. La diffrence avec des oreillettes, qui coupent les bruits de l’environnement, ce casque me laisse couter ma musique en toute scurit. La limite tant 30 35 km/h o le vent prend le dessus.
Le casque est confortable, lger, le placement se fait naturellement et on l’oublie vite. Il passe trs facilement sous le casque vlo et tient bien en place mme si on porte des lunettes.
Je le recommande vivement, surtout en ce qui concerne la scurit l’extrieur.
Was surprised how good these were. Really great to not be in the ears and stayed put whilst running. Sound quality’s good but not superb – perfectly ample for me.
I use these for outdoor exercise and the odd phone call.
Ideal for road running or cycling as you’re able to hear the world around you; traffic, sirens, horns, other runners or whatever. I’ve run with in-ear headphones for years, but no longer. Rather than being in an isolated bubble separated from my surroundings I am aware of what’s going on around me and feel much safer.
I’ve not tried cheaper brands or alternatives but for me the sound quality is good, battery life so far has been consistent with the spec, and yes they’ve got wet and have coped admirably. I recommend them, and would buy again if lost or damaged.
I’d agree with other reviews that if you’re after a lot of bass, or ear drum busting volume you’re going to be disappointed – but these are not audiophile or studio headphones. In the same way a Ferrari won’t tow your caravan – it’s not made for that, and you’re looking at the wrong product if that’s what you’re after.
Noise cancellation is not the purpose of these headphones. If that is what you want, you are in the wrong place to buy them. The sound quality is very good for bone-conducting headphones. They are sweat resistant and the battery lasts a really long time. I got one for myself and my spouse. He brought it to work and listened to things on it all day and it still hadn’t run out of power. I listened to mine for several hours as well and it didn’t run out of power. I’m yet to experience any problems with battery, connectivity, etc. I like the magnetic charger. It attaches pretty securely. My ears are tiny (4cm) and most bluetooth headphones fall off of my head. These stay on very well. I am also autistic and hyper-sensitive to the way things feel on my head. These cause me a little bit of pain over several hours of use, but it is very very mild compared to wearing any other type of headphone (for me.) The tiniest bit of pressure on my temples is enough to cause pain. These have been pretty outstanding as far as comfort goes in that regard, and slight rotation/ adjustment of positioning is enough to fix the issue for me. My husband has a very large head, and these fit him well, and he has not reported any pain. I have a small head and these fit me as well.
Some of the lower tones from low-speaking voices are not as audible if there is a lot of noise going on around you and it can take a bit of adjustment to figure out what positions work best for you, but turning the volume up until I could feel my head buzz a bit made them audible. Be wary of listening too loudly for too long as long term exposure, even to these, can cause hearing loss. Sound is clear, which is nice. I’m no audiophile, though.
Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Ever get aching or hot ears after having buds in? Well these solved my problem, light and comfortable, sound quality is great, but if you are after full isolation these may not be for you (unless you plug your ears as well).
They are great and conveniently waterproof, a bit expensive but I feel worth it.

I suffer from tenitus they help so much to block out the constant noise in my ears. I also wear glasses and find them so light to wear with them. They aren’t designed to block out external noise

I bought some aftershox air’s a few years ago but had to return them as they just weren’t good enough – the battery life was mediocre, not waterproof but worst of all you could hardly hear them when cycling.
After hearing that all these complaints had been fixed I tried the openruns at a demo stand in Costco and immediately bought them – they are fantastic. I run and cycle with them and the sound is clear and although not up to the sound of good in-ear headphones I have zero complaints about volume or sound quality.
I could have bought the pro’s but after reading that the difference in sound quality is minimal I thought I’d rather have these waterproof headphones (instead of ‘sweatproof’) than the better battery on the Pro’s – saving about 40 whilst I’m at it.
I love it when I enjoy a purchase this much with no regrets or compromises.
Great in all aspects other than bass, trebles are great and so are mid tones. Lacking in bass as expected. Very comfortable and perfect for purpose.

Bone conduction at its finest!! I love the color (red) and the way they feel to touch and on my head. The sound quality is very very good too!
*I’ve not experienced any other bone conduction headphones, so my review is with this in mind.
– Quality feel and weight (light and secure).
– Great charging rate and decent battery life.
– No issues with Bluetooth connection.
– Audio quality is as expected (for this technology), yet still very good for the purpose. Please do not expect a wide, full spectrum (heavy bass) experience, but it is certainly clear and defined.
– For purpose, for me it’s cycling, and I never wanted to use full in-ear headphones in city environments. This is the perfect balance, as long as they aren’t set too loud. I can ride more safely and still have entertainment in the form of music or podcasts.
– At high speed on the bike, wind noise will be prevalent, but at high speeds I want to be concentrating on my cycling, so I’m fine with this.
– If volume is set to maximum, music (bass) may overly vibrate the set, and ‘tickle’ where they contact the head. Not a problem for me, as I would not want them that loud anyway, but others might want to be aware of this.
Overall, very good tech that meets the need.

Superschnelle Lieferung und hochwertig verpackt!! Die Kopfhrer haben fr mich einen ausreichend sehr guten Klang. Ich bin echt begeistert wie toll das funktioniert, obwohl die Hrer vor den Ohren liegen…ich finde das Teil klasse. Der Kopfhrerbgel bleibt auch gut auf den Ohren liegen. Ich hatte immer Schwierigkeiten mit den normalen Ohrstpseln, selbst die kleinste Gre hat in meinen Ohren nicht gehalten. Sport hab ich damit allerdings noch nicht gemacht.
– Il suono ottimo (personalmente preferisco isolarmi), ma queste cuffie danno modo di prestare anche attenzione al mondo circostanze senza interferire con la qualit del suono percepito.
– la durata della batteria direi ottima (primi utilizzi di 6 ore senza ricarica)
The sound quality is great. The most amazing part is that it doesn’t hurt my ears. I can listen to music for hours without concerning tinnitus. Literally the best headphones I ever have.
There is no noise cancellation to these. As it’s open ear design allows you to hear what’s going on around you. I love them for outdoor activities to be able to pay attention to my surroundings and still have music.
Cet couteur est tellement lger qu’on oublie qu’on l’a sur la tte ! De plus il ne nous empche pas d’entendre ce qu’il se passe autour de soi et c’est une vritable scurit. A pied ou en VTT je ne manque pas une occasion de le mettre. Sa batterie a une trs bonne autonomie.
Ich habe die Kopfhrer fr meine Frau bestellt, um ihr, da sie nach einer falschen Behandlung in ihrer Kindheit defekte Trommelfelle hat und ihr ein Hrgert auch nur bedingt hilft. Sie konnte durch diese Kopfhrer auch auf dem komplett ausgefallenen Ohr, bei dem auch das Hrgert nicht mehr wirkt, wieder etwas hren. Die Kopfhrer wurden daher mit dem Fernsehgert gekoppelt, welches Bluetooth und Lautsprecherton gleichzeitig ausgeben kann. Leider stellte sich heraus, dass durch die offene Bauweise der Fernsehton fr sie doppelt ankam, durch den unvermeidlichen Lag wurde daraus nur ein unverstndlicher Geruschemix, somit sind die Kopfhrer also fr diese Problemstellung unbrauchbar und wurden daher zurckgeschickt. Mit einer reinen Bluetoothquelle erfllen sie aber ihren Zweck sehr gut und sind unbedingt empfehlenswert. Der Preis knnte etwas moderater sein…

Ce casque est tout simplement gnial, il est petit, agrable a porter avec une bonne autonomie.
Je chercherais des couteurs o je pouvais couter de la musique mais aussi entendre les bruits extrieurs ce qui est chose faite avec ce casque.
Le son est correct mme si il manque un peu de basse mais on ne peut pas tout avoir.
Je prfre le scurit ( en entendant les bruits extrieurs) au dtriment de la qualit sonore.
Une seule chose dire : excellent ! J’avais peur de la qualit d’coute mais cela vaut plus que de nombreux couteurs auriculaires lger, ne tombe pas lorsqu’on fait du sport et ne surtout ne bloque pas le conduit auriculaire ! Pourquoi je n’en ai pas achet avant en tout cas sachez que si vous tes indcis, je vous promets que vous ne pourrez pas le regrette

I love my Shokz Openruns. Sound quality is probably not going to delight serious audiophiles, but for cycling and walks it’s more than adequate. No fear of losing these, unlike my previous set of earbuds. These are secure around the ears and the neck band gives added security. I found the neckband to get caught in collars at times which could be annoying, but a slight adjustment would solve that. Also, the neck band is a pain if you want to doze off in the chair. It just gets in the way really. Another huge plus is the perfect connectivity. No break up or drops in playback at all. Well pleased with that. Overall, I give these 9/10, only losing 1 for the neckband. Needs a bit of tweaking from the design team I reckon. Wants to be adjustable.

My only negatives is the obtuse one button operation, would’ve liked dedicated ffw and rev buttons, and the fact that it uses a proprietary USB cable instead of USB-C. Apparently it once came with two cables but now just one.

Got these to use on my daily off road cycle commute and they do the job.
Thought it would be an issue with glasses, helmet and snood, although you do feel them pushing forward due to the non flexibility of the frame it doesn’t affect the sound and you get use to it.
First time wearing them I wasn’t impressed with the sound but I was used to apple AirPods knit over time these get better as you can also hear any traffic that may be near. Only thing is you have to turn them off/down to really hold a conversation.
Arrived on schedule. Perfect for my daily walks. Light and compact and for once I was not bothered by ‘buds’ falling out of my ears and getting damaged or lost.
Le casque fonctionne trs bien, on peut moduler son confort d’coute en dplaant un peu les points de contacts, plus ou moins loin des oreilles.
La batterie est pour le moment trs confortable, avec plus de 5 heures d’coute par jour. Le soir c’est le tlphone qui est proche de s’teindre.
La finition est bonne.
L’tanchit est relle. Je l’ai teste.
Ciao, ho aspettato un paio giorni prima di scrivere, caricata la batteria una sola volta e ancora c’ ne in abbondanza, lo usata solo per le telefonate , perfetto il suono che l’ascolto no in posti affollati o molto rumorosi.
Ich habe mir den OpenRun zum Spazierengehen und fr Abends zum Fernsehen zugelegt. Ich finde es einfach genial. Es gibt zwar leider fr das Umfeld leichte Gerusche, der Schall ist nun mal nicht lautlos. Ich finde es aber super, dass man tatschlich im Freien alles in der Umgebung mitbekommt und Abends beim Fernsehen kann meine Frau strungsfrei schlafen, wenn ich noch lnger fernsehen will.
Absolute Kaufempfehlung, auch wenn der Preis etwas hoch erscheint. Ich kann den Hrer problemlos auch ber 4 oder 5 Stunden tragen. Reichweite ist mit ca. 6-7 Metern in der Wohnung ausreichend und fr Bluetooth perfekt. Der Akku wurde von mir bisher mit ca. 5 Stunden ausgenutzt und es gab absolut keine Probleme. Telefonieren habe ich zwar leider noch nicht versucht, gehe aber davon aus, dass auch hier alles Versprochene eingehalten wird.

Der Klang der Knochenleitungshrer (Schallwellen werden auf den Knochen des Kopfes bertragen und gelangen dann durch die Knochenleitung der Schallwellen zum Innenohr) kommt nicht an Hifi Qualitt ran, man kann auch nicht laut oder gar sehr laut hren.
Trotzdem machen die Hrer Spa, sie sind sehr ungewhnlich vom Funktionsprinzip (kennt man sonst von Knochenleitungshrsystem Schwerhriger, z.Bsp. die BONEBRIDGE) und sehr auch ungewhnlich aus.
Ich benutze sie sehr gerne zum Hren von Hrspielen oder Hrbchern, da bentige ich keinen Hifi Klang und groe Laustrke, ebenfalls zum Telefonieren in ruhiger Umgebung.
Fr mich ist das Beste an den Hrern, dass meine Ohren nicht verschlossen sind: Ich hre die Umgebung weiter (=zustzlich) ganz normal. Ich mag nicht gerne Kopfhrer lngere Zeit im Ohr haben, das ist hier kein Problem.
Da ich nicht jogge, kann ich diesen Nutzen nicht beschreiben, schtze aber, dass es dafr auch sehr gut geeignet ist, bei der Gartenarbeit kann ich sie beispielsweise auch noch empfehlen 🙂
Les + :
-un son d’une qualit remarquable pour un casque ouvert. On a l’impression qu’il y a des hauts parleurs qui diffusent le son l o on est. L’coute de podcasts ou musique est un vrai plaisir.
-Les boutons sont bien penses pour interagir avec le casque sans le retirer, la matire est trs agrable au toucher et la charge est extrmement rapide, comme promis (seule diffrence avec l’Aeropex, que ce casque remplace sur le march)
-entendre l’environnement extrieur, pratique et scuritaire dans un cadre perso (entendre son bb qui pleure, son chien qui aboie, les voitures quand vous vous promenez ou faites votre sport, les bruits de la nature en rando, suivre la cuisson quand vous cuisinez) mais aussi dans un cadre pro (suivre une runion en visio tout en pouvant interagir avec les personnes qui entrent dans votre bureau).
-Trs lger et confortable, il se fait oublier. Pas de sensation d’oppression d’un casque ou d’oreilles bouches avec des couteurs intra auriculaires.
Les – :
-comme soulign par beaucoup de revues, les basses ne sont pas incroyables, mais on choisit ce casque plus pour la conscience de son environnement que pour la perfection de la qualit audio. On peut aussi noter de lgres vibrations quand on augmente trop le son mais rien de gnant.
-les cheveux longs rendent l’installation un peu plus complique s’ils ne sont pas attachs. Personnellement, je le mets par dessus car la masse de cheveux appuie sur l’arceau et dstabilise le casque, mais ce n’est pas trs gnant sauf quand il y a du vent.
-si vous avez un piercing l’endroit o reposent les Shokz, a peut tre embtant
noter qu’il existe une version Mini avec un arceau plus court et qui semble plus adapt aux petites ttes des femmes, mais il ne semble commercialis qu’aux USA pour le moment, et en noir seulement. Moi je profite que l’arceau soit un peu grand pour y glisser mes cheveux en dessous quand ils ne sont pas attachs, a laisse plus d’espace aussi pour les porter autour de mon cou quand je ne les utilise pas. Mais l’arceau trop grand peut tre drangeant pour certaines activits comme le vlo de route, o le menton est relev et l’arceau frappe derrire le cou et dstabilise le casque.
Je regrette donc seulement que l’arceau ne soit pas rglable, si les ingnieurs de Shokz passent par l, il faudrait trouver un systme solide et lger qui permette de l’ajuster toutes les ttes en fonction de l’activit/la coiffure/l’ge !

its not often I find a whole new technology like bond conducting headphones I didn’t know much about and its mature and works well. Open headphones is really good for a bunch of reasons and its easy enough to pause when something noisy passes by. A surprise benefit is listening to podcasts while eating lunch. Closed in earbuds are useless while eating.
The vibration some reviews mention is more like a tickle, and only happens with some low frequency sounds at higher volume. The internal wire that keeps it in place is a bit springy and I did find sometimes when I run it bounced it was just occasional. I sewed a button on the back of my cap, and let it rest there. Seems to keep it in the perfect spot.

Komfort & Halt: Genial! Das ist die groe Strke. Sie sind superleicht, kaum zu spren, sitzen immer sofort richtig und halten bei allen Bewegungen bombenfest – wirklich egal, was man macht. Mit eng anliegender Mtze geht das fast noch besser und auch der Bgel ist dabei nicht strend. Selbst ein Fleece kann man damit ber den Kopf ausziehen, ohne das irgendwas verrutscht.
Bedienung & Akku: Pairing geht enorm schnell. Bluetooth-Reichweite reicht bei der Nutzung zu Hause, um auch mal in den nchsten Raum zu latschen. Das Laden geht dank Schnelladefunktion richtig flott. Mit 8 Stunden Akku wrde ich allerdings nicht rechnen, da man sie doch gerne etwas lauter stellt. Die Bedienung klappt auch beim Laufen wunderbar und reagiert schnell.
Sound: Hhen und Mitten klingen glasklar und wirklich gut. Bei Bssen, insbesondere Bassdrums von House- oder Rock-Musik offenbaren sich die Schwchen. Das kriegen sie einfach nicht transportiert und sind nicht mit On-Ears oder In-Ears vergleichbar. Weil das in einigen Kommentaren erwhnt wurde, habe ich es mal mit meinen Motorrad-Earplugs im Ohr getestet. Das funktioniert ziemlich gut und gibt einen satten Klang, wobei Hhen und Mitten minimal dumpf werden. Ist aber natrlich irgendwie bescheuert Bone Conduction mit Ohrstpseln zu verwenden und minimiert viele der Vorteile.
Langlebigkeit: Wird sich zeigen. Machen einen guten Eindruck und ich traue ihnen auch zu, dass sie die Herstellerangabe 30 min bei 1 Meter Wassertiefe berleben.
Nicht getestet habe ich bisher damit zu telefonieren, weil es fr mich irrelevant ist. Und auch das Auf- und Absetzen der FFP2-Maske habe ich nicht ausprobiert.
Bin ziemlich zufrieden mit den Shokz OpenRun. Am Anfang habe ich noch gehadert, ob ich sie zurckschicke. Es ist ziemlich viel Geld fr Kopfhrer, die kaum Bass haben. Definitiv nichts fr Soundfanatiker oder Leute, die einfach Kopfhrer fr unterwegs suchen. Beim Sport aber unschlagbar und deswegen behalte ich sie.
I really like these. The fact that I can listen to music and podcasts and still hear what’s going on around me is something I like. The sound quality for music is no as good as in ear or cup ear headphones but is still acceptable to me. For listening to podcast I found them to be perfectly good. The battery lasts between 8 and 10 hours for me. The only issue I have is when I have the volume too high I find that the sound causes my skin to vibrate a little, but I don’t usually have the volume up that high. I mainly use these when out walking my dogs.
My only criticism is it’s not possible to use them at very high or full volume and the headset vibrates and gives a sensation like an electric shot. Uncomfortable.
Used for running, light weight and so easy to wear. Sound quality is excellent but I can still hear the traffic. Would highly recommend.
These are things o’ wonder and great for sports and comfy enough to wear all day. My partner and I have gone through several sets of them. REasonably happy to accept this , but it would be great if a repair service was offered in these help the planet times we live in.
Excellent produit particulirement pour courir, lger, le son est galement de qualit.
Extrmement lger, il permet parfaitement d’couter de la musique sans tre “coup” des sons extrieurs. Il reste bien en place pendant la course. Les communications tlphoniques sont aussi de trs bonne qualit.
Petit bmol sur la connectivit bluetooth. On ne peut connecter qu’un seul appareil au mme temps sur le casque (tlphone ou pc par exemple) et si l’on est dj connect sur l’un, on ne peut pas forcer la changement de connexion bluetooth depuis le deuxime appareil. Il faut dsactiver manuellement la connexion d’un ct pour l’activer dans l’autre, donc pas pratique sur ce ct.
Toller Klang, leichte Handhabung und schnes Design, kaum Gewicht. Ich trage es bei fast jeder Ttigkeit im Haus und am PC. Ich finde es super praktisch. Neben meiner Musik kann ich gut damit telefonieren und hre die Klingel und das Haustelefon. Tolle Erfindung!
Je ne suis pas un spcialiste du son, mais celui dlivr par le casque me satisfait que ce soit sur du rock ou sur d’autres musiques jazzy ou funky.
Er milieu bruyant, il ne fait pas de miracles, le voisin entend et des vibrations se font sentir, c’est un casque qui fait vibrer l’os alors forcment si vous montez le son…mais c’est agrable d’entendre les bruits de l’entourage tout en coutant sa musique.
C’est agrable de ne rien avoir rentrer dans les oreilles et de pouvoir partager son casque.

Truly excellent headphones! Don’t buy these expecting top end sound and bass response as that’s not what this technology is about. With that out the way, if you crave spacial awareness on the trails (or at home) they have surprisingly excellent sound, design and comfort.

2 me running avec ce casque et a ne bouge pas pendant le run et on ne le sent pas. Le son est de qualit et le fait d’entendre autour de soit ou les potes parlaient un ou bonheur.

Having ability to listen to music or a podcast while having awareness while riding on the road or on a run, is most important thing for me for self preservation and saftey.
I also have lost a bit of hearing (busted left ear) – so preserving whats left of my hearing is important.
The design is a lot better – the speakers seem be in the right position now, over the old version.
it is a definite step up in quality, and sound over the old version. The sounds have more bass and is about 10% or so louder.
Bluetooth connects to my samsung sg21 in seconds where it takes around 5 seconds to initialise/connect in the old.
I didnt catch this for a sale, but im still happy with this product.
My runs include a small area of a busy road with no pedestrian footpath – these headphones allow me to still listen to my music and have awareness of traffic.
I love trail running and listening to nature sounds and these allow me to be able to do that, and listen to music which is lovely.
plus they are comfortable and do not move around.
When using in-earphones I would often feel claustrophobic but not anymore. I cannot recommend these enough.
Nun weist einer der AirPods einen Defekt auf. Gerade passend war es da, dass die Firma Aftershokz vor ein paar Tagen ihr zehnjhriges Jubilum verkndet und das zum Anlass genommen hat, ihren Namen zu ndern in Shokz” und zugleich ein neues Modell im Bereich der Knochenschall-Sport-Kopfhrer zu prsentieren. Dazu hat der Hersteller einen Code fr einen 10%igen Rabatt verffentlicht, so dass ich kurzentschlossen meine AirPods auf Garantie an den Hndler geschickt und hier die OpenRun bestellt habe. Der Rabatt gilt leider nur fr das Modell in schwarz, und die anderen Farben habe ich hier im Sortiment bei Amazon bisher auch noch nicht gefunden, aber irgendwas ist ja immer
Inzwischen wei ich, dass dieses neue Modell gar nicht so neu ist, sondern lediglich eine berarbeitete Version des schon lnger erhltlichen Aeropex, im Wesentlichen wohl nur ergnzt um eine Schnelladefunktion. Ansonsten gleichen sich die technischen Angaben.
Inzwischen hatte ich einige Tage Gelegenheit, diese Kopfhrer auszuprobieren. Die Kopplung erfolgt ganz einfach per Bluetooth, und das lief bei mir auch problemlos (Apple Watch, iPad – dazu spter noch ein paar Worte).
Das, was einen Kopfhrer ausmacht, ist wohl in erster Linie der Klang. Und da waren meine Erwartungen nicht besonders hoch, wie auch meine Ansprche in dem Bereich insgesamt nicht high-end sind. Bei der hier verwendeten Technologie gibt es zudem bestimmte Imitationen, die ein Sounderlebnis vergleichbar mit einem richtigen” Kopfhrer wohl unmglich machen. Trotzdem aber, und da bin ich durchaus positiv berrascht, ist der Klang der OpenRun alles andere als schlecht. Natrlich ist guter Sound immer auch etwas Subjektives, aber zumindest nach den ersten Eindrcken klingen die auch nicht schlechter als die AirPods 2. Gen. (wobei ich da jetzt leider keinen direkten Vergleich vornehmen kann, s.o.).
Der nchste Punkt, gerade wenn es um sportliche Aktivitt geht, ist der Sitz. Und auch da bin ich zufrieden. Es sind meine ersten Knochenschall-Kopfhrer, insofern fhlt es sich erst etwas komisch an, so etwas vor den Ohren sitzen zu haben, auch der Anblick mutet zunchst seltsam an, wirkt es doch ein wenig so, als wrde man ein Hrgert tragen. Aber davon abgesehen gibt es nichts zu meckern, nach ein paar Minuten habe ich die nicht mehr nennenswert gesprt und sie halten auch wirklich gut ihre Position, ohne dabei ein unangenehmes Druckgefhl zu erzeugen. Und, was eben auch der vorrangige Zweck dieser Kopfhrer ist, die Ohren sind frei, so dass man die Umgebungsgerusche praktisch uneingeschrnkt wahrnehmen kann. Natrlich ist das auch abhngig von der Lautstrke des Kopfhrers, aber immer besser als mit richtigen In Ears. Letzteres kann man vielleicht noch einschrnken, wenn man Kopfhrer wie die AirPods Pro zum Vergleich heranzieht, die einen Transparenzmodus untersttzen und dadurch eben genau das erreichen sollen, nmlich die Umgebung wahrzunehmen. Ob und wie gut es tatschlich funktioniert, kann ich nicht beurteilen, einfach, weil ich keine AirPods Pro habe.
Neben der Lautstrkeregelung (rechts) werden noch weitere Funktionen untersttzt, insbesondere durch einen Multifunktionsknopf (links), mit dem man verschiedene Aktionen auslsen kann, bspw. Play/Pause, Titel vor, Titel zurck, Gesprche annehmen Gesprche beenden (ja, Telefonie geht auch) und auch Aktivierung des Sprachassistenten.
Auch der Kopplungsmodus wird ber diese Knpfe aktiviert. Der Kopfhrer untersttzt Multipoint Pairing, kann also mit zwei Gerten gleichzeitig verbunden werden. Das ist nicht schlecht und fr viele Flle sicherlich auch vllig in Ordnung, wenn man aber weitgehend im Apple-Universum unterwegs ist, durchaus auch mit mehreren Gerten, ist man natrlich von den AirPods gerade in diesem Punkt recht verwhnt, denn einmal eingerichtet, wechseln diese nahtlos ber zu dem Gert, was man gerade verwendet. Sicher, das ist ein Luxusproblem, aber wie das so ist, wenn man sich mal an etwas gewhnt hat, mchte man es auch nicht mehr missen. Bei den OpenRun jedenfalls musste ich mich fr zwei Gerte entscheiden, wobei natrlich die manuelle Kopplung mit anderen Gerten trotzdem jederzeit mglich ist. Schlussendlich ist die Wahl bei mir auf die Apple Watch und das iPad gefallen, denn gerade beim Sport bin ich in aller Regel ohne Handy unterwegs und daheim ist das iPad das meist genutzte Gert. Ob ich damit mittel- und auch langfristig gut leben kann, muss sich erst noch zeigen. Aber wie gesagt, ein Luxusroblem 😉
Insgesamt jedenfalls bin ich nach den ersten Tagen ganz zufrieden mit den Kopfhrern, gerade auch, was den Klang angeht und den Tragekomfort. Ein Wermutstropfen ist natrlich in meinem Fall, dass das Zusammenspiel mit Apple-Gerten lngst nicht so gut funktioniert wie z.B. mit den AirPods. Das liegt natrlich hauptschlich an den Restriktionen von Apple und kann Shokz sicherlich nicht direkt angelastet werden. Trotzdem aber ist das der Grund, dass ich nur vier Sterne vergeben habe, denn natrlich erfolgt meine Bewertung auch unter meinen durchaus subjektiven Gesichtspunkten. Und die volle Punktzahl kann und mchte ich nur vergeben, wenn etwas fr mich wirklich in allen Belangen passt. Und das ist es so nun mal nicht, auch wenn ich natrlich wei, dass der Hersteller in diesem Fall nur bedingt oder auch gar keinen Einfluss darauf nehmen kann. Aber vielleicht kommt es mal zu einer Kooperation zwischen Shokz und Apple, dann knnte dieses Problem irgendwann der Vergangenheit angehren. 😉

Fast charged and away I went can’t fault so far at all !
I did deduct a star since every review of the Aeropex I saw said they included 2 of the proprietary charging cables. These are basically the same item, same price, just rebranded. However, I only had one cable in the box with the OpenRun. Kinda bummed about that. Also, the warranty registration website hasn’t been updated to account for the Shokz rebranding. Model & serial numbers clash, so hopefully there aren’t any warranty issues down the road.
