I must say I was very impressed with these headphones being a user of headphones that are inserted into your ear. I was surprised by the sound quality and also how comfortable these headphones is sometimes forget that I have them on I like these headphones and I’m very happy with the purchase, however, on certain calls, it wasn’t always the best but overall a very happy custome

Quite surprised how good these are, sound wise no problem. On a walk you’ll have to turn up the volume if your on a main road, cars the main culprit. I found them comfortable to wear.
I have had a couple of different models of these now and use them all the time, on my bike, round the shops, whilst doing the washing up etc. mainly using them for podcasts. I love them and I’m not saying Ii couldn’t live without them but my life would be a smidge worse and more difficult.
When my latest model (this one) developed a problem, I contacted shokz customer service via email and within a week they had replaced my headphones. Really appreciate a company who is this efficient and not trying to fob you off or make you wait until you give up (yes I’m looking at you Lufthansa). Thank you to Crystal who dealt with my request.
I will definitely buy from Shokz again when the tech gets even better, confident in the knowledge that they will help if anything goes wrong.
I don’t run, I’m like James May, I don’t run on camera. In fact I don’t run at all. A lifetime ago they made me run at school, I don’t like it then and I don’t like it now.
So why am I reviewing a runners’ set of headphones? The answer is they’re pretty good. I tried the cheaper versions, not Shokz I hasten to add, available on Amazon and I was very disappointed with the sound quality. Namely when listening to album tracks the cheaper variant clipped the first beat/quarter of a second or the like off the beginning of the track. That got really annoying. Hence the purchase of these not inexpensive Shokz.
Back the Shokz, very comfortable to wear on a boat thus allowing you to hear engine note, or sails flapping if that’s your thing. You can easily have a conversation with others and still be able to unobtrusively pick up a phone call. The sound quality is excellent and I’m told by those whom I’ve called that the noise cancelling is pretty good at their end. For me the volume controls are very easy to use and a larger single button on the left hand side allows easy call accept/disconnect.
I’m pleased I invested in the higher priced item and would very much recommend it.
Decent product and comes in nice box with simple instructions .. Only down side is they cause vibration to the side of your ears where the sound pads go if music to high or if you like rock music. Very comfortable product when running and cycling and you can still hear what’s going on.
These Shokz Openrun headphones are brilliant..!!!! I wish I would of tried them before. They stay in place even though I also wear glasses, and I don’t need to worry about them when running at all.
The sound is good, and the best bit is if you don’t turn them up too loud, is that you can hear someone talking to you, or the traffic around you, but if you want to be totally immersed in your music, and want to have hearing problems in your old age, then ear-buds may be for you.. You can turn the volume of the music up and down via the headphones, and you can do this very easily whilst running.
I am 62 and over the years I have had/tried so many headphones in the past, which when you got sweaty always fell out of your ears, or you had to always put them back in place, so I thought I would give these Shokz Openrun headphones a go.
I am also a regular gym goer and the only exercise where I have to move the headphones a bit is a bench press, as of course you put your head on the bench and the headphones go behind you head, so in effect you coule be lying on your headphones.
I got so fed up with all my other headphones, ear-buds etc, that I always used to run without headphones and music, even when I was training for my last mararthon.
If I ever lose these headphones I would certainly buy another pair straight away.
They are perfect for my use case
If you’ve done your research on bone conducting headphones, you know that you won’t be buying these for the best audio quality. Conducting through bone cannot produce the same fidelity as conducting through air. However, I was pleasantly surprised how GOOD the audio quality was. These are extremely light. I find them comfortable to wear for hours at a time despite me having an oversized noggin. I wear glasses and didn’t have any trouble wearing both together. Battery life is good but not great. The Open Run Pros claim to have longer endurance. I do get 6-8 hours depending on the volume I have set. I don’t love that these have a proprietary charging cable but I understand why (IP68 water and dust resistance). I purchased an extra one on Amazon.
A word about multi-point connectivity. Yes, these can pair to two devices simultaneously (such as a phone and a laptop.) HOWEVER, you cannot use both devices concurrently. I was hoping to pair these for calls to my laptop and for music to my phone so I could listen to music while taking calls. Not possible. So, I don’t use the multipoint at all. If all you want to do is be able to keep two devices paired so you don’t have the hassle of pair/unpair every time you switch devices, you should be fine.
Très bon casque pour le spo
Je suis trs content du casque SHOKZ, je l’utilise tous les jours.
Au travail, la maison et en VTT.
Trs bon casque pour les appels, le plus c’est de pouvoir porter des bouchons d’oreille et de pouvoir tre au tlphone en mme temps.
Pour le sport il est trs bien aussi, je l’utilise en VTT le son est bien, il manque de basse mais ce n’est pas un problme.
On entend les voitures et les bruits autour.
L’autonomie est bonne, il est multipoints.
Je recommande le casque.
Surprenante qualité sonore, sans aucune gêne auditive
Ce casque Shokz openrun m’accompagne frquemment au potager, l’atelier ou en promenade, essentiellement pour couter des podcasts. Permet de tlphoner en main libre dans de trs bonnes conditions audio, et de rester connect son environnement sonore, notamment pour entendre ” table” sans faire s’gosiller Madame. Pour le running je prfre mes oreillettes intra, plus qualitatives pour couter les musiques qui me transportent.
Sounds good, easily drowned out by background noise, modest battery life
The sound quality on these is excellent; clear and with sufficient bass. The microphone seems to work well for calls too. After using the old Aftershokz Trekz Titanium for a few years, I was a bit surprised to find that the Shokz Openrun has a noticeably shorter battery life. The headset is definitely lighter and less bulky, so I guess that entails having a smaller battery.
The other main downside is that the sound is easily drowned out by background noise. Of course you can put in earplugs to drown some of that out, but then this defeats some of the purpose of the headset for me — I want to be able to hear cars coming etc, but also clearly hear music or audio books at the same time. Maybe I’m expecting too much. Apart from these issues, it’s a great device and listening to music, books and podcasts has been pleasant (except in the gym, where they seem to think customers really want blaring music pounding in the background constantly. I take noise-cancelling headphones instead when going to the gym now because the Shokz unit is almost completely drowned out).

These headphones are awesome for what they are. Home conducting headphones that allow you to hear what’s going on around you. If you want to immerse yourself in your music and blot out the outside world you’re in the wrong place.
These are genuinely superb. Comfortable, long battery, clear, fast & stable connecting, safe to use when out and about.
The only reason these don’t get a 5star from me is the fixed headband. Not a game changer but the fixed band is a pain when it comes to beanies etc.
I bought these b/c my Airpods actually were hurting my ears when I wore them. Plus they were hard to find in the yard if they fell out while mowing. I love these! I can hardly tell I even have them on. Once I got use to where the buttons were, it is very easy to adjust volume or answer a call. I got them a day ago so I’m not sure how charged they were. I was using them and kept hearing something in my ear. I finally understood what it was saying….”Charge me.” I thought this was excellent. It told me to charge them. Better than beeping that you don’t know why it is beeping. To charge is so simple. It is almost like a little magnet and it just clicks right to it and charges. Couldn’t be easier. I will use them while working outside and mowing so I will see how they do, but I doubt I will have any problems. And for 1/2 the price of Airpods you can’t beat it.

Per indossare correttamente le cuffie a conduzione ossea, basta appoggiare i pezzi a forma di auricolare sugli zigomi, proprio davanti alle orecchie, Ulun leggero grado di tensione dell’archetto mantiene le OpenRun in posizione sopra gli zigomi.
Ci sono tre pulsanti su OpenRun che controllano i comandi di accensione/volume su, volume gi e multifunzione.
Ideale per gli atleti, specialmente quelli che si allenano all’aperto.
Poich le orecchie rimangono libere puoi rimanere pienamente consapevole di ci che ti circonda.
Infatti le ho scelte proprio per andare in bicicletta proprio per non essere isolato dai suoi che mi circondano, grazie al grado di resistenza alla polvere e all’acqua IP67 non ho mai avuto problemi anche sotto un diluvio.
Si possono utilizzare anche per le telefonate, ma il microfono non il massimo e trasmette molto rumore di fondo alla persona dell’altra parte della linea.
Il livello di carica ti viene indicato all’accensione delle OpenRun, la batteria dura circa 7 ore e ci mette 90 minuti a ricaricarsi.
Für den Sport würde ich sie wiederkaufe
Insbesondere fr das Laufen suchte ich eine Kopfhrer-Lsung bei der ich nicht wie bei In-ears oder auch bei Over ears das Auftreten beim Laufen im Ohr habe. Mit etwas Skepsis habe ich mir die Shokz gekauft, weil das Ohr frei bleibt. Der Klang ist kein HiFi Sound aber fr die sportliche Begleitung erfllen sie ihren Zweck sehr gut. Die Gerusche, die ich bei den In-ears hrte sind weg, sogar Duschen geht ohne Nebengerusche durch den Krper. Die Akku-Laufzeit liegt ber 3 Std, lnger habe ich sie noch nicht in einem Stck benutzt. Ihre Position am Kopf halten sie sehr gut, der Bgel rutscht nicht runter. Beim Radfahren strt der Bgel, wenn ich einen Kragen an der Jacke habe und den Kopf berstrecke. Das Telefonieren funktioniert mit ihnen auch gut, meine Gesprchspartner besttigten mir eine gute Verstndlichkeit.
I work outdoors, at a park to be exact so I’m always yelling at coworkers, weed eating and doing everything outdoors. I love music and talk radio so I would usually leave my phone on loud abd just recharge it through the day. Originally I purchased Beats earbuds and yes, they had great sound but I’d constantly end up with ears full of sweat and not being able to hear co workers hollering at me. Then I picked up these shockz. I’ve been wearing these during 8 to 10 hour workdays and sometimes forget they’re on. They work amazing. I can hear people around me and still listen to music. When I use equipment and need earplugs, I just use my ear plugs and I can still hear whatever I’m listening to! The sound quality is good. It’s not the best but I think the quality of performance and function outweigh needing to hear the best quality sound. Calls work very well and I can hear well and people hear me. I can’t stress enough how grest these Shokz are for my situation. I don’t see myself using anything else. I’ve worn these literally ALL DAY and not had to charge them. If you’re on the fence about these, don’t be. You’ll be happy with them.
I like these headphones, they are comfortable, sound quality for what I use them for is ok, survived training in the rain and battery life is good. Though I would much prefer to be informed in percentage what battery life is remaining, so I can gauge it. Rather than being advised that battery is HIGH, MEDIUM or LOW.
The biggest bug bear by far, is that its virtually impossible – think that I managed it once, to get the correct rhythm when using the button 3 times to select the previous track, pause and selecting next track is ok. But dam it was impossible to select previous track.
So, as per the sellers advice, I now use my phone to select the previous track.
That is the only reason why it didn’t receive 5 stars.
Really handy for exercising
These are a lot more comfortable and clear than i expected them to be. They don’t cancel out the sound, which is good, but they are loud enough that you cant hear people talking much if you do want to drown out other sounds. The only 2 things that annoy me is that i wish the head loop was smaller (to fit smaller heads, not just a mans head) or changed sizes, as it gets in the way on the odd occasion with extension of the head. I also wish that it was able to connect to two devices at once, such as my watch and my phone, in case i got a call come through. Overall i am very happy and would buy agai

Prese per curiosit e per approfittare di uno sconto. Sono rimasto positivamente colpito gi tirandole fuori dalla scatola, danno l’impressione di un’eccellente qualit costruttiva.
Indossate all’inizio “fanno strano”, perch non siamo abituati a quella pressione sulle tempie, dopo un po’ per ci si abitua e l’avere le orecchie libere in certe occasioni ha certamente il suo perch.
Il prezzo (altino) giustificato, sotto i 100 euro sono consigliatissime a corridoti/ciclisti accaniti e a chi per un motivo o l’altro preferisce non indossare auricolari normali.
Pro:
– stabilissime, e chiaramente pi sicure di qualunque altra alternativa correndo o andando in bici perch si ha miglior controllo di quello che ci circonda
– un valido alleato per chi ha problemi a timpano e/o altre parti dell’apparato uditivo
– eccellenti per ascoltare podcast, sono ottime anche parlando al telefono
Difetti:
– in alcune occasioni mi capitato di provare come degli impulsi un po’ fastidiosi, forse dipendenti dall’app usata e/o dal passaggio silenzio/suono
– i bassi fanno abbastanza ca..re
– nel punto di appoggio si suda
– il cavo di ricarica magnetico abbastanza inusuale, i ricambi si trovano ma certo meglio non perderlo/romperlo/dimenticarlo

Les casques Shokz ont une rputation qui n’est plus faire. et raison. J’ai achet un premier casque de marque “chinoise” pour faire un test. Aprs, on a envie d’avoir le casque de qualit qui fonctionne. Ce casque je l’utilise tous les jours. Alors, quels sont les avantages et les inconvnients ? Pour les inconvnients : on n’utilise pas ce casque pour si on veut vraiment couter de la musique, mlomanes passez votre chemin. Mais le son est parfaitement audible et est agrable porter. Idal pour le sport, je le conseille aussi pour recevoir les appels. au moins vous n’tes pas “dconnect” de votre environnement. qualit et marque reconnue, je vous le recommande.

Cuando entreno me gusta notar el sonido del viento, la respiracin, en general tener conciencia del entorno para disfrutarlo y de mi mismo para auto regular la intensidad del ejercicio. Por eso entrenaba sin msica desde hace aos. Estos auriculares me han permitido volver a disfrutar de mi msica favorita sin renunciar a las sensaciones descritas anteriormente. Especialmente til para entrenamientos largos de varias horas.
En el trabajo tambin me permiten tener msica de fondo pero poder or a cualquier persona que me hable. Con la msica a bajo volumen puedes or todo perfectamente, pero adems, con una pulsacin paras la msica y como nada obstruye el canal auditivo es como si no tuvieras auriculares.
El sonido es mucho mejor de lo que esperaba. Algunas personas dicen que apenas tienen graves, pero no es para tanto y es totalmente esperable de este tipo de producto.
Si se excede el volumen producen una sensacin de cosquilleo que es desagradable pero creo que no es el cometido de este dispositivo. Si se quiere la msica tan alta que no puedas or el entorno sera adecuado utilizar auriculares convencionales de transmisin por el aire.

My niece is the one that introduced them to me and she has had hers for 3 years no issues. I had one side that stopped working and I contacted customer service and they shipped me a new set fairly quickly. Battery life is good and talking on my phone with them is awesome. Would highly recommend them.

Its has good sound quality and noise cancellation . Usually when I use this kind of products, person on the other end use to complain that they cannot hear me well or there is surrounding noises. This seems to be working well and has a good battery life. Its very comfortable to keep it for the whole day+hr
I had the same product before, but the only concern that I have is that after one year of use the internal joint snapped on one end of the headphone and then it will not snug properly to your jaw born. I was upset with that , but it still worked.

Firstly, the size of the band is perfect for my head and neck. It has been reduced since the first model. If you are particularly small then the mini would be good. The sound quality is great, it can be hard to hear voice and podcasts on busy roads but if you are out for a walk in a park or forest or on quiet roads then it is actually fine. It takes soke getting used to, being able to hear around you can be disorientating. At high volumes people around you can also hear what you are listening to which I didn’t expect. They also vibrate quite a bit when at high volume so that can cause me a sore head. But overall I keep them at a mid level volume and they are fine for my needs.
They stay on great when running and often I forget I have them on after.
Overall a good product, not sure that 90 is a fair price for them, I hope they last for at least 4 years to get the value from them.

Despus de varios auriculares, de todas las clases, marcas y estilos….., por fin he encontrado los que me van a acompaar en todas mis salidas y carreras, el sonido es estupendo, si quieres sonido de la ms alta calidad pues ve a por otros, pero a mi me valen, no te aslan, no se caen, no molestan ni sientes que los llevas,la batera….pues desde que me llegaron aun no los he cargado y van por el 50%, los he probado en 3 ocasiones, pero creo que ya son los definitivos, valen el dinero que pagas

l’image de la membrane du haut-parleur qui fait vibrer l’air, le casque conduction osseuse imite cette vibration mais travers des terminaisons solides. Le casque n’est donc pas silencieux. En effet, mme sans le porter on peut entendre la musique manant des microvibrations du casque, tout comme on pourrait l’entendre avec des couteurs, et qui finalement n’a rien de trs diffrent d’un point de vue technique d’un casque classique. Le processus est assez similaire. La diffrence concrte entre ce genre de casque et un casque/couteurs audio classiques c’est l’ergonomie. En effet je trouve trs pratique de ne pas avoir les oreilles bouches ou couvertes, de pouvoir entendre mme en se bouchant les oreilles et de ne pas agresser ses tympans comme le font les hauts parleurs. Le casque est extrmement lger, c’est impressionnant, il se porte tellement bien, il est doux au toucher un peu comme les revtements de coques en silicone des tlphones, il reste toujours propre, l’autonomie est excellente, la puissance aussi, le maintien est parfait le casque ne bouge pas d’un millimtre mme en courant. Le seul point faible c’est la qualit du son. a ne vaut pas un haut parleur, l’ventail de sons n’est pas aussi fourni et subtil avec ce systme mais a reste super. Je pense que a vaut le coup de l’acheter en tout cas moi je ne regrette pas. Je n’en dirait pas autant du Openrun Pro qui est bien plus cher et qui triche avec des hauts parleurs intgrs. Je pense que vous ne regretterez pas cet achat, et mme que vous aurez du mal revenir a des couteurs classiques aprs a, sauf si vous recherchez une qualit de son exceptionnelle.
I use headphones ALL the time. As a, em, domestic engineer, my days are spent submersed in the joy of dishes, laundry, dusting, vacuuming, etc. Music & talking on the phone are my go to joys while dealing with the drudgery of my life. As an iPhone user, I have always just bought the corded iPhone headphones, except for one brief moment of insanity where I bought a $15 dollar pair of wireless ear buds. (I should mention that I tend to be very very “frugal” aka cheap) As you can imagine those did not last long. A friend of mine has been raving about these for over a year. I FINALLY decided to buy some as the corded headphones really didn’t work well for talking on the phone, as well as I couldn’t wear them for as long as I would like as my ears would start to hurt.
Oh my gosh, these are the most amazing headphones ever. Not only can my husband no longer sneak up on me while I am beebopping around the house (he votes this as a negative) I can actually hear both my music & if someone is talking to me (he votes this as a positive), I can wear these all day (did I mention I really like to listen to music throughout the day?) without my ears hurting. The battery, for me, has lasted well over three days, and charges amazingly quick. I was able to get to full battery charge in under two hours (don’t know how long, had run to grocery store while charging) Furthermore I have not needed to have my phone with me for these to work. The range is incredible. I have a three story house and can be on any floor, or out front or out back and still have crystal clear audio with my phone stationary inside. I have been informed that the mic is crystal clear on calls.
There are a few minor drawbacks that a buyer should be aware of. First, there is no comfortable way to wear these while laying down, so no listening to a podcast or music while your spouse is watching tv in bed. Also, if you wear glasses – overall these are still pretty darn comfortable but I find after a few hours they do start to hurt where the eyeglass ear piece sits, while with my contacts in there is no issue.
In short – well worth the money, great buy.
If you’re looking for a headset that won’t block out environmental sounds, this is the route to take. I was tired of in the ear earbuds that made it difficult for my wife to communicate with me. These are comfortable and have good sound quality and as a side benefit have much better sound than my bike helmet speakers which are non-bone conducting when I have no need for the intercom (in-the-ear earbuds are not useful due to wind noise and increased danger from being unable to hear traffic noise). While the sound quality for music is not quite as good due to the lack of noise canceling, it is quite adequate for podcasts and does well with phone calls. It is light and comfortable for long term use. I took off a star because there is no app or much option in the way of equalization, although I doubt that would be very useful with this type of headset. I exchanged the larger version for the mini to allow me to lie comfortably with minimal adjustment, unlike with the larger version.

Connessione immediata. Manipolazione dei tasti per volume e multifunzione buoni, devo ancora abituarmi, ma non ci sono difficolt. Audio veramente buono: quando ho ricevuto la prima chiamata, avendo le orecchie libere, ho pensato che il suono provenisse dal telefono, invece era dagli auricolari. Perfetto per la guida, permette di sentire i rumori esterni. Stabili a cavallo del padiglione, forse un po’ lungo l’archetto sulla nuca e non aderisce, ma trascurabile. Metter alla prova la durata della batteria che spero duri tutto il turno di lavoro. Fantastico non avere qualcosa dentro le orecchie, per chi lo usa a lungo un sollievo.

Comode e leggere durante lo sport, io le uso per andare in bici e per la corsa. Prima di provarle sono stato sempre scettico sulla reale utilit e per qualche anno le ho seguite nella loro evoluzione senza acquistarle, adesso credo sia il miglior sistema per ascoltare musica durante gli sport all’aperto dove spesso utile rendersi conto di quello che succede intorno. L’audio buono per questo tipo di cuffie, perde sicuramente in dettagli ma un compromesso pi che accettabile, la musica si sente molto bene, al pari di molte cuffie in ear. Ottima durata della batteria, dopo un ascolto di tre ore stavo sopra il 50% e non sono sicuro di essere partito con carica al 100%. Sono dotate di microfono per poter rispondere a eventuali telefonate.

Ottime cuffie, per lavoro non posso tapparmi completamente le orecchie e per conformazione non sopporto le “in ear”. Ho risolto tutti i miei problemi con queste, che lasciandomi libere le orecchie mi permettono di sentire i suoni circostanti e d i fare attenzione alle cose che mi accadono in torno. La qualit del suono pi che buona per me, ma i puristi potrebbero non essere soddisfatti.Io cercavo uno strumento che mi permettesse di avere un sottofondo e di rispondere al telefono senza occupare le mani. Il prezzo di listino onestamente un po troppo alto (acquistate in offerta a poco pi della meta del prezzo) se cercate perfezione sonora, potrete trovare maggior qualit a quel prezzo. ma se come me non potete indossare le “in ear” queste vi cambiano la vita.
Hear what's going on around you
Very good for working/being around other people. You can be listening to something but still hear what’s going on when people come up and talk to you. Also very good for being out running/walking/cycling and still know a vehicle is coming up behind you. However, the loud noises of buses for example will drown out what you’re listening to completely.
Comfort is great, they can be on for hours, and battery seems to last me at least a day.
Sound quality is passable but obviously not the best for bass and serious music listening. Works best for spoken word content for me.
The other main negative for me are the playback controls, to skip back it’s a triple click of the button which never seems to register for me. Double click to skip forwards works most of the time.
Overall I would not be without these now.
Sorprendente y práctico
Un sonido fantstico, cmodo, prctico y sobretodo seguros para ser utilizados en actividades al aire libre sin perder contacto con el entorno. Incluso resulta ms sociable, al ser capaz de participar en una conversacin, mientra oyes msica. Con otros o hablas con alguien o escuchas msica. Con estos puedes hacer ambas cosas.
Me ha sorprendido el resultado de estos auriculares. Han superado mis expectativas.

La verdad es que no he comprado estos auriculares para hacer ejercicio, los he comprado porque mi madre tiene problemas con todo tipo de auriculares de botn o in-ear, le molestan enseguida. Estuve mirando hace aos estos productos pero ni tenan los precios que ahora tienen ni la calidad de sonido. Vamos a ver, yo uso unos Sony WF-1000XM4, lgicamente la calidad de sonido no tiene nada que ver, pero stos auriculares son muy cmodos, se escuchan bastante bien para lo que me esperaba. El nico pero que les puedo poner es que dependiendo del dispositivo conectado la conexin bluetooth no es muy estable.

I do a fair amount of long distance running… I listen to podcasts a lot, audio books, and sometimes music. Bought these at the recommendation from a friend, and they work great! I can still hear some of what is going around me (people passing me, cars, etc.) but can also hear what I’m listening to quite perfectly. My only complaint, which doesn’t really affect my rating, is that it would be nice if you could turn the volume up a bit when I’m in areas of heavy congestion, car noise, etc. so I could more clearly hear in those situations, but otherwise… these are great. I will mention that hte first few runs it took a while to get used to them, as my ears weren’t really used to having things over them in that location, but they got used to them.
It would also be nice if it used a standard usb-c charger like other headphones, but imagine this was to maintain the water resistant-ness? Otherwise it’s a pain to have to take an extra cord with me to charge these when I travel.

Ich wusste bei den ganzen Reviews nicht wirklich, was ich erwarten sollte. Viele uern sich negativ ber den nicht vorhandenen Bass und die fehlende Dynamik, auch wenn sie den Kopfhrer fr gut bewerten. Ich bin daher davon ausgegangen, dass der Klang eher schlecht aber ausreichend sein wird. Das Gegenteil ist aber Fall. Der Kopfhrer klingt sehr viel besser als einige der sehr preiswerten Kopfhrer, die ich bisher fr das Laufen verwendet habe.
Ja, die Bsse fehlen. Aber das hatte ich erwartet. Es ist kein Kopfhrer bei dem ich mich auf die Musik fokussieren kann. Es ist ein Sportkopfhrer. Der Klang ist trotzdem recht gut und ausgeglichen. Der Grund fr den Kauf waren der gute Sitz und die Tatsache, dass ich Auengerusche noch gut wahrnehmen kann. Beides erfllt der Kopfhrer ausgezeichnet. Ich bin heute 1,5h damit gelaufen, und habe ihn kaum bemerkt. Der Klang war (bis auf die Bsse) gut. Fr mich der beste Sportkopfhrer fr das Laufen.

My 3 most constant gripes about running headphones are: They’re uncomfortable, they don’t allow for enough outside noise, and I have trouble keeping them Bluetooth connected to my phone or watch. The OpenRun headset passes with flying colors on all 3. The sound quality will never be quite as nice as an ear-canal headphone, so I don’t use them in non-sports settings, but that’s why I have other pairs for that.
If you need a single pair of headphones that will sound great running and cycling, while also blocking out distractions on the bus, this isn’t for you. But for sports and settings where I need to hear potential dangers around me, need waterproof comfort for dozens of miles at a time, and reliable Bluetooth and battery, these can’t be beat.
Multipairing funktionie
Ist superbequem das Teil. Funzt am PC und am Handy. Erst pairing durchfhren, dann Multipairing und das erste Gert nochmal verbinden und 2tes Gert kontrollieren. Verbindet sich anstandslos wenn ich mich wieder an den PC setze. Wenn es mit dem PC verbunden ist (z.B. Musik hren) und das Handy klingelt, einfach Musik oder TV pausieren und man kann den Anruf auf dem Handy annehmen. Steht genausso im Handbuch. berraschend guter guter Klang und auch mit dem Micro werde ich gut verstanden. Endlich nichts im oder auf dem Ohr.

Avevo gi delle cuffie aftershokz prima del cambio del nome. Sono state le prime cuffie a conduzione ossea e gi con quelle mi trovavo benissimo. Poi si sono rotte dopo alcuni anni di utilizzo e quasi sicuramente dovuto ad una caduta. Queste rispetto alle vecchie sono molto pi leggere e comode. Sembra di non averle addosso. Il suono ottimo e i tasti comodi da utilizzare. Ovviamente essendo a conduzione ossea la qualit non sono come cuffie in ear ma servendo principalmente per attivit all’aperto dove importante sentire anche i rumori circostanti come auto o bici sono eccezionali. Consiglio!

Los compr para intentarlo, a mi esposo y a mi nos encantan. No te desconecta al 100% del sonido exterior, para correr o conducir es excelente porque logras escuchar algun porciento de lo que esta pasando alrededor. La batera dura muchsimo, no la agota rpido y carga bastante rapido. Si buscas cancelar al 100% el sonido exterior, esto no es para ti. No se resbalan, pero tampoco aprietan. Esto me super sorprendi: al contestar llamadas las personas me escuchan super bien, adems puedo caminar a cualquier lugar de la casa sin tener el telfono conmigo, la cobertura del Bluetooth es amplia y no se corta la msica ni las llamadas.
If you want a headset that does not go in your ear, these are some of the better ones I have used! I purchased these for my self and ended up giving them to my dad who wears hearing aids and can’t put anything over his ear or in his ears! And they work awesome for him too!! These things are awesome! Have quite good sound for what they are, tho this type of headset will never have real earth shaking bass. Sound is nice and clear and your ear is in obstructed so you can hear conversation and ambient noise without taking anything out or off!! Great buy. Would recommend to anyone. Sound does get muffled if you use an ear plug. But that is not the headsets fault, just how they work in coordination with the ear canal. Great for construction use unless you plug your ears like I mentioned. No noise cancellation at all, obviously.

I’ll preface this with the following: I’m completely deaf in my left, from birth and there isn’t anything I can do about it. It’s not cochlear bone deafness, it’s a stupid rare kind where I have no nerve connection to my brain. Anyways. These things allow me to listen to music, and keep my one good ear open to the world. Total, and absolute game changer. But no, it doesn’t “allow me to hear” out of the left. I honestly don’t know why people claim that they can suddenly “hear the music” while being deaf. But hey, as stated, I got the rare kind of deafness, so what do I know about the common types?
I use them for, listening to music, podcasts, or watching a movie at work. I work overnight security, and it gets dead at night. We are allowed to use one earbud so we can still hear our the phone, radio, people, etc. But that means I can’t hear anything at all if I do that. Took em for a test drive same night I got them in the mail, and MY GOD! Absolutely INSANE! For once in my life, I felt like someone who pops a single earbud in. I could hear my music AND have conversations with multiple people all night long. Absolutely beautiful!
As far as the quality of them goes. It’s great. Cranking it up to max isn’t something I suggest because it sounds grainy. But for an application like mine, anywhere for 25-75% volume is PERFECT!

And for work they are small and easily hidden in a beanie during the cold days so I can have my music and my bosses will never know. Honestly can't recommend these enough.

Franchement, j’tais loin d’imaginer qu’il tait si bien.
Le confort et la tenue sont nickels, le son est impeccable, les fonctions sont trs simples et pourtant nombreuses.
Lors des communications tlphoniques, le son du micro intgr est propre (d’aprs mon interlocuteur).
L’coute est discrte puisque les gens autour n’entendent rien, sauf si l’on monte vraiment le son un peu plus de la moiti, mais vu que ce n’est pas utile…
Le casque est aussi trs petit, donc facile transporter, mais on peut aussi le porter sur soit puisqu’on le sent peine (il ne sert pas et est tout lger), donc pas de mal de crne ou aux tempes.
Compatible A71 :
Etant personnellement un utilisateur du Samsung Galaxy A71, j’avais peur qu’il ne le dtecte pas car ce tlphone a la mauvaise rputation de ne pas tre compatible avec tous les appareils Bluetooth (par exemple, mon A71 ne dtecte pas mon casque Logitech Wireless Headset H800, qui est d’ailleurs un excellent modle), mais le Shokz OpenRun est heureusement bien dtect par ce tlphone.

Ich laufe seit ber 20 Jahren und am liebsten mit Musik. Ich habe schon viele Kopfhrer ausprobiert. Inears rutschen mir wegen dem Schwei irgendwann aus dem Ohr. Das passiert mir selbst bei Modellen mit Bgeln hinterm Ohr. Overear Modelle empfinde ich als strend. Vieles probiert und nie richtig zufrieden gewesen. Dann habe ich mir die Shokz bestellt und bin seit dem total happy! Auf Grund der Bauart merkt man sie kaum, sie halten perfekt und verrutschen nicht. Ich nutze sie jetzt seit mehreren Monaten beim Laufen und auch beim Radfahren. Klappt super auch in Kombination mit einer Brille. Tragekomfort also schonmal 1a.
Kommen wir zum Sound. Der Sound ist ehrlich gesagt nicht besonderen. Aber das kann er bei der Technik auch nicht sein. Es fehlen definitiv die Bsse und Dynamik in der Musik. Wer also gern Musik mit viel Bass hrt oder auch beim Sport audiophile Ansprche hat, sollte die Finger von den Shokz lassen. Wer bereit ist sich auf den Sound der Shokz einzulassen und der Sache ein bisschen Zeit gibt, um sich an den Sound der Shokz zu gewhnen wird trotzdem seine Freude an ihnen haben! Der Sinn dieser Kopfhrer ist Musik oder auch Podcasts nebenbei vor allem beim Sport zu hren und das funktioniert fr mich bei beidem wunderbar und in ausreichender Soundqualitt.
Der Vorteil, dass man seine Umwelt noch hrt ist dabei auch nicht zu unterschtzen. Windgerusche berlagern natrlich die Musik. Aber selbst bei 25 Km/h auf dem Fahrrad oder beim Laufen an windigen Tagen haben die Shokz fr mich bisher prima funktioniert.
Ich hatte die Chance dieses Modell mit dem Pro Modell zu vergleichen und finde das der Aufpreis sich nicht lohnt. Der Bass ist nur unwesentlich besser und daher kann man sich meiner Meinung nach das Geld sparen.

Quasi identique l’aeropex, j’espre qu’il sera fiable. Mes deux prcdents AfterShokz sont tombs en panne respectivement aprs 3 ans et 2,5 ans…
Par rapport l’aeropex, il est fourni avec un seul cordon de recharge, et sans bouchons d’oreille. Le mode d’galiseur pour bouchons d’oreille a d’ailleurs disparu. Dommage.
No tuve problemas para conectarlo tanto con el iphone como con el macbook pro.
Se oye muy bien, como dice mucha gente, con los graves y/o volumen alto vibra un poco y hace cosquillas. A mi, al cabo de las horas, me molesta un poco, pero siempre me han molestado todo tipo de auriculares.
En videoconferencias oigo bien, pero ya he tenido probemas con el micro en ms de una ocasin… de repente dejan de irme, con lo que he de desconectar y seguir sin auriculares.
De todas formas, muy buena compra.
Si eres un melmano y quieres aislarte del mundo para oir un sonido ntido, estos NO son tus auriculares. Estos van muy bien para escuchar una buena calidad de sonido, pero sin perder los sonidos de ambiente de fondo.
I owned a pair of aftershokz Titanium headphones for several years, and was already familiar with them. They are designed for athletes who need to be aware of their environment, and the extra level of safety that not covering the ear canal provides. They still provide a very decent, if not audiophile sound quality. They also keep sweat from building up in your ear canals, which can trigger a host of ear issues, including fungal ear infections. My ENT recommended that I use this product after having two extremely painful bouts of ear infections which were likely caused by wearing Apple AirPods for exercise in tropical locations. The Shokz put an end to this issue.
The build quality is very nice, and they fit well and are comfortable to wear indefinitely. Most earbuds begin to hurt after 30 minutes or so, but not the shokz. You actually forget you are wearing them.
In areas with high ambient noise, such as a 24 HOUR Fitness gym, their sound output can be a bit insufficient to drown out the usual mix of bad gym music. They don’t isolate or cancel out any background noise. I discovered a hack to make them noticeably louder on a iPhone: Go to Settings. Go to the Music App. Select EQ. Select “Late Night”. That provides a several dB boost across the sonic frequency spectrum, and helps inna noisy environme
Ich habe die Kopfhrer hauptschlich zum Sport gekauft und so bewerte ich diese. Ich hab diese etwa eine Woche getestet.
Nach dem durchlesen einiger Bewertung war ich skeptisch gegenber den Soundqualitt – hier kann ich aber nur wiedersprechen. Man hrt die Musik einfach anders als bei gewhnlichen Kopfhrern, deswegen kann ich nicht sagen dass dies in allem schlechter als bei herkmmlichen wre – besser ist es aber auch nicht in allen Punkten.
Tonqualitt 4/5
Fr mich hrt sich der Sound ein bisschen so an, als wrde im Raum ein sehr guter Lautsprecher stehen aber vor meinen Ohren hngt ein Tuch. Sprich der Sound gibt die Musik als Ganzes wieder wirkt aber auch leicht dumpf. Gleichzeitig nehme ich den Sound anders wahr, ein bisschen als htte ich ein Implantat und der Ton wird “an den Ohren vorbei” wahrgenommen – das aber im besten Sinne ohne komisch zu sein. Bass ist da, wird aber mit zunehmender Lautstrke immer weiter ab. Der Bass ist weit weg davon als “satt” beschrieben werden zu knnen, aber fr meinen Geschmack ist genug da um auch bei Hip-Hop oder elektronischer Musik den Beat zu unterstreichen. Wer es aber braucht, dass die Ohrlppchen vibrieren, hat hier vermutlich weniger Spa. Von kristallklaren Hhen kann man leider auch nicht sprechen. In groem ist fr mich der Sound also gut und fr den Zweck – Sport vllig ausreichend.
Ein groer Vorteil fr mich: dadurch, dass der Sound eher “von innen” kommt wird dieser auch nicht durch Gerusche von auerhalb verflscht. Auch beim Joggen oder Fahrradfahren gibt es keine Strgerusche durch Wind, Kabel oder andere Ste.
Sehr angenehm ist es die Umgebung komplett wahrnehmen zu knnen und trotzdem Musik zu hren. Ein bisschen als wrde ich einen Ghettoblaster dabei haben ohne meine Umwelt zu stren.

Die Bluetooth Verbindung ist sehr schnell hergestellt, bei Android und Windows ohne Probleme. Die bertragung ist auch bei mehreren Metern (Rumen) bis zum Abspielgert kein Problem.
Starker Regen hat das Musik-hren kein bisschen eingeschrnkt. Aufladen funktioniert einfach, USB-C wre mir lieber gewesen. Der Hrer ist so leicht, dass er auch nach langem tragen nicht auffllt – Druckgefhl in oder auf den Ohren wie bei gewhnlichen Hrern gibt es nicht.
Die Akkulaufzeit scheint okay, ich hatte bisher keine Probleme.
Wenn ich die Lautstrke hoch stelle, merke ich insbesondere bei Bssen ein vibrieren. Eigentlich kaum verwunderlich, da man sich ja faktisch eine kleine Membran an die Schlfe hlt. Fr mich ist das aber kein Problem, das gibt der Musik sogar etwas physischen Nachdruck 😉 Dann knnen die Ohrlppchen also doch vibrieren! [so stark ist es nicht]

Dass diese Kopfhrer eher aus sehen wie groe Hrgerte ist zwar etwas gewhnungsbedrftig, ansonsten finde ich die Optik ansprechend. Sicher knnten die dickeren Elemente etwas filigraner ausgearbeitet werden. Jetzt sieht man, dass die Technik halt einfach irgendwo hin musste – dann machen wir da einfach ein kleines Kstchen wo es am wenigsten strt hin. Ich bin sicher, mit etwas Mhe wre einem da etwas eleganteres eingefallen.
Die rote Farbe ist in echt etwas dezenter als auf den Fotos, was ich sehr angenehm finde. Die Farbe erinnert mich an britisches Baked Cherry.

Ich finde die Kopfhrer im ganzen etwas teuer, besonders wenn ich sie mit gewhnlichen versuche zu vergleichen. Zur Wahrheit gehrt aber, dass der Shokz ein spezielles Sport-hr-gert ist bei dem mir bisher keine bessere Alternative untergekommen ist. Die positiven Eigenschaften die Knochenhrer speziell machen bekomme ich woanders nicht. Und wenn ich das nchste Mal neue Laufschuhe suche, dann schaue ich ja auch nicht zuerst auf den Preis.
Ich bin sehr zufrieden und kann guten Gewissens eine Empfehlung geben!
Utilis ds rception pour faire une sortie rapide de running, c’est vraiment le top du top pour diffrentes raisons :
– il ne bouge absolument pas, reste bien en place autant au niveau de l’os temporal que derrire les oreilles
– il rsiste la transpiration ainsi qu’ la pluie
– on entend le monde qui nous entoure (voiture, vlo, etc)
– il est extrmement lger, on ne le sent mme pas
Paralllement, le son n’est pas fou (mais perso, je ne cherchais pas a !). il n’est pas horrible mais rien voir avec un casque ou un airpod. Encore une fois, je comptais m’en servir uniquement pour mes sorties running, entre 2 et 4 fois par semaines… c’est sur la dure que je verrai l’autonomie.
Pour le moment, c’est un sans faute 😉

Uso le cuffie per connessione al tablet o al cellulare. L’audio e’ complessivamente buono anche se mediocre sui toni bassi. Con volume medio si riescono ad ascoltare le voci ed i suoni provenienti dall’ambiente esterno permettendo di non isolarsi completamente come si verifica con le normali cuffie.
Skokz headphones are not bought for noise cancelling, they are bought so that you can keep your situational awareness while pursuing your favorite outdoor or gym activity. Shokz allow you to hear ambient noise such as a car coming up behind you or a dog or other animal (rattle snakes, I hike in the AZ desert) approaching. I find the sound quality excellent, the bone conduction is awesome. I do use Shokz for air travel, I just use a pair of classic EAR yellow ear plugs with them and though not 100% noise cancelling, I do not hear the crying babies unless they are right next to me.

I’ve used Shokz headphones for many years (since AfterShokz released the first bone conduction series). They truly have worked to improve the design with every new model release. And the customer service is on-point!
Specifically with this Open-Run version, I found the slimmer, lighter weight design to be a lot more comfortable on longer runs. The rounder speaker shape also makes them less noticeable against your ears.
It looks like they have made great strides in making the design more water resistant (less entry points). Also I believe they finally upgraded to a newer version of Bluetooth. The electronics on the older models always died on me after about 12-18months of daily use. I’m really hoping the watertight design and new electronics make for a more robust product. I’ll update the review after 6months so people can see if they’re still going strong

I really wished I had started with these instead of cheaper versions but I wasn’t keen on the price. I finally made the plunge and holy cow.
These are lightweight and I don’t experience the “tired” feeling on the sides of my my face or my ears. The sound is amazing considering the size. No, you won’t get rich bass like you would from over-the-ear headphones.
The range is ridiculous. Unobstructed? 60 feet. Not so much as far as noise canceling with the car windows open and road noise. But yard work/housework/exercise these are great.

It’s amazing to finally have the option of listening to music on runs with zero problems or hassles. Thank you Shokz. Here’s the back story:
In the old days, I used to snake headphone wires under my shirt and strap a massive iPod on my arm to listen to music. The armband slipped off, the wires got tangled. Smaller iPods were junk and couldn’t handle much if any abuse or sweat. Smartphones are just too big and clunky. Music capable smartwatches are amazing and compact, but Bluetooth headphones and anything stuck in my ears quickly gets sweaty and uncomfortable. Jabra Elites, for example, sound good, but fall out multiple times every run.
After having pretty much given up on having music on runs, a colleague turned me onto Shokz. What a find. Paired instantly with my Garmin Fenix. The sound is way better than I expected would be possible with bone induction (and just good period). The headphones stay comfortable throughout the runs I’ve been on, and the playback stays flawless.
For me at least, and I would venture other folks who like to run hard and thus sweat a lot, these things are a game changer. Get them. You will not be sorry.

Ottime cuffie a condizione ossea, il prezzo non di certo il pi economico ma la qualit davvero tanta. Avevo gi acquistato delle cuffie di questo tipo di un’altra marca ad un prezzo pi conveniente ma la qualit non era nemmeno paragonabile.
Pro: Audio fantastico, volume e qualit sonora al top , considerando che sono delle condizioni ossea.
Contro : forse il prezzo, ma onestamente se si vuole risparmiare qualche decina di euro si ha qualit nettamente inferiore.
Altra nota negativa il connettore che proprietario, avrei preferito un classico type C, cos da non temerre, soprattutto quando sono lontano da casa, di dimenticare il cavo.

Bon confort, pratique pour le vlo, qualit sonore moyenne (on est pas sur des lunettes Bose) mais correcte pour le type d’quipement, par contre la longueur de la partie entre les deux couteurs est trop grande.
La batterie tient au moins 6 heures volume quasi maximum (je n’ai jamais test plus).
Mon tour de tte : 58, cou pas spcialement maigre, et j’aurais largement prfr le petit modle…

Ich habe das Teil stndig auf. Zum meeten, Podcasts oder Musik hren, das erledigt der Kopfhrer sehr gut. Na klar ist das kein Vergleich zu einem geschlossen Bose Kopfhrer, dieses Teil ist aber auch nicht fr HiFi gemacht. Trotzdem ist die Tonqualitt viel besser als erwartet und weit entfernt von blechern.
Haupt Einsatzbereich sollte brigens das Fahrrad sein, damit man die Umgebungsgerusche weiterhin voll wahrnimmt. Dafr ist der Kopfhrer perfekt!
Konstruktionsbedingt ist telefonieren beim Radfahren wegen dem Fahrtwind aber quasi nicht mglich. Sobald man wieder sehr langsam fhrt, ist die Sprachqualitt wieder ausgezeichnet.
Einen Punkt Abzug fr den berhrten mal-sehen-was-der-markt-bezahlt”-Preis. Um die 100 eur wren doch vllig okay gewesen, auch bei einer so innovativen Technik.
Ebenfalls ein Minuspunkt fr das extra Ladekabel, das wre auch eleganter gegangen, zB kontaktlos wie ein Handy.

Prodotto concepito essenzialmente per un utilizzo dinamico in sicurezza come bicicletta o corsa al parco quando necessario non perdere contatto con l’ambiente circostante, caldamente sconsigliato agli amanti dei bassi e del suono cristallino.
L’audio accettabile ma non sufficiente per le mie necessit da ciclista urbano, nel traffico intenso il volume troppo basso (cambia parecchio in base a come si posiziona l’archetto, pu anche darsi che dipenda dalla conformazione del mio cranio) e il microfono non cancella completamente i rumori di fondo (le Airpods Pro funzionano mille volte meglio).
Ottima qualit costruttiva che per non giustifica il prezzo a mio parere troppo elevato, ho preferito renderle, valuter il modello entry-level se dovesse scendere un po’ di prezzo.

Husband loves these for on the job-site!
We bought these for my husband for a few reasons. He is part deaf and wears hearing aids, and he works on commercial sites as a plumber. These are the perfect choice in both those scenarios.
These headphones are perfect because he can wear both his hearing aids and the headphones if he wants to, and one doesn’t interfere or make the other more uncomfortable.
Secondly on the job site he can’t have anything to cancel out his hearing, these headphones are great for hearing everything going on around you while still getting a clear sound for your music, that doesn’t bother other people.
He has absolutely loved these headphones, I could hardly get him to take them off the first week after he got them. He has no complaints in the fit or comfort department.
Lastly, we bought the headphones with an 8 hr battery life expectancy. These headphones lasted his entire 10 hr work day, and even a little while after. Of course there were short breaks where they were not on during his shift, but overall they seemed to noticeably last over 8 hrs. We have yet to see if that will change over time as they are used more.
They are definitely worth the price. No other headphones he has tried have come remotely close to these.
Better then I thought.
I like these a lot. The audio quality is better than I was expecting. One of the main reasons I got these is because I wear earplugs at work, but these don’t interfere with that at all cause they don’t go in your ear. I heard people say that earplugs don’t change the audio quality but they do, massively.. I was super disappointed at first. All the high frequencies get dulled by the plugs, but the lows don’t, so all you hear is base. Buuuuuut I was able to adjust the EQ of my phone. I just drop the base to 0 and turn then up a few extra notches. Then the highs can make it through the earplugs and the base isn’t too high.
So I had to do some shenanigans to get them to work with earplugs, but in the end their great.
If you don’t plan to use earplugs than don’t even worry about all that. They sound fantastic.
The sound quality is pretty good. It sounds similar to if you held a pair of normal headphones just to the side of your ear.
My only major complaint with the headphones is that they have a terrible bluetooth connection to my phone. Its momentary losses in the connection (or so i believe) that ends up sounding like a constant and intermittent crackle and audio drop. Sorta like a wired pair of headphones with a failing cable, and you wiggle the wire and the audio drops. I’ve tried reseting the headphones, which didnt work. I’m currently waiting for a response from Shokz on this issue, but will most likely be returning.
Maybe I got a defective set of headphones? maybe the product is flawed?
I will end up getting another pair because the product, in my opinion, is will be worth it if i get a pair that doesnt have any issues.
Edit: just got a replacement pair and it suffers from the same connection issue as the first. I’m returning and probably wont try shokz again until theres some sort of product fix.
Edit 2: contacted shokz customer support and we found that the A2DP hardware offload setting (android dev settings) was the culprit. The audio was fixed by toggling this setting. Headphones now work with no issues

on conoscevo la possibilit di poter avere una cuffia che non ti limitasse l’udito delle cose che ti circondano in passato ne ho comprate tantissime ma mai nessuna mi ha sin da subito dato estremo piacere di avere una cuffia ma che non sembra neppure una cuffia perch te la dimentichi mentre la indossi, inoltre ha una elevata capacit di ricezione anche a una quindicina di metri dal tuo cellulare e soprattutto una durata delle batterie che non ti ricordi di ricaricarla, sono le 23,30 da questa mattina che le indosso ,non mi danno noia e non mi hanno ancora abbandonato!!! ottimo prodotto lo consiglio a chiunque ha dei dubbi , ciao a presto.
Great for the purpose
***UPDATE***Headphones started “crackling” with static and lost volume by 1/2. Followed the reset directions, crackling cleared up, but still experiencing reduced volume. Purchased July 2022, update Sept 2022. Cannot figure out how to return/replace with Amazon or Manufacturer.
My husband has had surgery on both ears when he was younger. He has always struggled with ear bud type listening devices staying in his ears. There’s are perfect. He wears them constantly, I have to remind him to take them off sometimes when headed into social situations, so they must be comfortable! In addition since they sit outside the ear, he is able to hear what is going on around him. The sound quality is okay, preferable over nothing at all. If you’re looking for Bose quality, these are not it, but for those that struggle with having something in your ear they are top notch!!! Thinking about ordering myself a set!

Main complaint is you're SOL if you lose i
I’m pretty careful with my things, but somehow have misplaced probably 3 of these over the years. So like the title says, that’s my main complaint. Other complaint is that it uses a proprietary charger which costs something like $15 for a replacement. My last complaint is that you can’t really lay down with these on without potentially doing damage to the band.
Besides the few cons, I still strongly recommend. Very comfortable. Can listen to something while at work, while exercising, wherever… And you’ll still hear what is going on around you. Also, this seems to basically be a rebrand of the Aftershokz Aerope… It’s the same product.
I’ve tried Razer smart glasses too, and while on paper they seem like a much better product, they’re easy to break, quality control issues (missing accessories like their proprietary charging cable), etc… but I digress. Strongly recommend the Openrun.

Ce casque n’est clairement pas pour les audiophiles, mais idal pour l’activit physique et notamment le cyclisme et la course pied. Le son est clair, les basses discrtes. Je recommande ce produit pour le sport et surtout pour l’aspect scuritaire. On garde sa vigilance, puisque les sons de l’environnement restent audibles. Trs satisfait de mon acha

Non ho provato altre cuffie a conduzione ossea quindi non posso fare un confronto, ma la comodit, la concezione di utilizzo rivoluzionaria rispetto alle cuffie classiche in cui il canale uditivo occupato.
Qui la qualit del suono non sar eccelsa da audiofilo ma se non si pretendono bassi da urlo, il resto eccezionale.
Dalle recensioni pensavo di rimanerne un po’ deluso, ma sono impressionanti.
Sto anche seguendo un corso di chitarra con un app e con queste cuffie riesco a sentire benissimo la musica e anche le note che suono, mentre prima (con le cuffie normali) tenevo su soltanto un auricolare.
Il resto delle caratteristiche son quelle che elencano tutti gli altri recensori… direi di provarle assolutamente comunque!
Il prezzo un po’ alto si, sebbene le abbia prese in offerta durante il prime day.
It works!
Have been using this for several months now. Easy to set up with your music, if you put it all in one folder – I have not mastered the use of different folders for different albums yet. Button controls are a little fiddly in use, but there is a knack to learn so that you stop turning the volume down when turning unit on and off. I’m getting about 5 hours use out of each charge before power starts to decline. Sound quality is very good.
No, audio quality isn’t comparable to in- or over-ear devices, but these even keep singing in the shower. This isn’t an expert review, and these are horrible in loud environments… unless you have ear plugs, interestingly enough. Noise cancellation is well enough for my occasional in-office presentations and calls. Apart from work, I really don’t have a need to take these things off because I can literally constantly have a voice in my head (totally not clinical, okay?) that does whatever I want whenever I want (reading to me, videos, music, etc), and I can still hear the people and environment around me clearly. The most I need to do is pause or adjust volume… ear plugs for when you only want the voices in your head and want to tune out from ouside sounds, like while vacuuming or walking by a train!
I love these, but the warranty is also important. First, if you get a malfunction and can still get Amazon to replace it, Amazon will be much quicker at getting you the replacement. I’m sure Shokz support will come through with a replacement, but it might be a couple weeks. After 4 business days, Shokz was only emailing that they were reviewing the warranty replacement, not actually sending a replacement. By that time I already had the replacement from Amazon for a device that stopped turning on or charging less than a month after delivery. In my opinion anyone getting these will find it stop working for no apparent reason at some point, and the warranty may be more reliable than the device.
So, just don’t swim with these because they’re not fish, and maybe at least arch an eyebrow at anything else water related, cause we’re human and rinsing off is good to do. Knock your socks off. These things are good for just about everything, but not side-sleeping. I have to sleep on my side and they’re not good for that, kinda uncomfortable then.
Great outdoors
Fit comfortably, good controls, great battery advice when turning on. Sound quality good for music and podcasts. Grip firmly but comfortably.
Ability to hear two sounds at once!
My favorite thing about these headphones is that you can hear both the sound from the headphones and the sound coming from outside the headphones at the same time. They don’t block your hearing of the outside world. This means that they are not really meant to be noise cancelling. So you use them when you WANT to hear the outside world at the same time. For example: GPS directions from your phone while also listening to the conversation going on in your car. The power also lasts a very long time.
The only downside is that these headphones operate on vibration. This means that if you turn them up too loudly you will experience in tickling vibration on your ears. Luckily, the product is very high quality and you don’t need the volume to be at maximum in the first place.
One strange thing about them is that they come with a special. magnetic cord for charging that is unique to the headphones. So you cannot charge these headphones with any other cord you might have in your home. So don’t lose this cord or else you’re out of luck.
I would highly recommend these headphones.
J’ai achet ce casque aprs avoir essay celui d’un ami. Son fonctionnement est atypique. J’adore pouvoir rester connect avec mes proches (les enfants surtout) tout en coutant des podcasts ou de la musique. Idal pour travailler et pour se concentrer. Superbe pour le guidage en vlo (et pas dangereux puisqu’on tend tous les bruits ambiants). Nickel pour tlphoner : le fait d’entendre sa propre voix de faon naturelle fait oublier qu’on a un casque. Les oreilles dgages, on parle galement moins fort, ce qui est agrable pour l’entourage.
Pour les cts ngatif, il faut avouer que chacun, en fonction de sa morphologie, doit prendre le temps de trouver la position optimale du casque pour bien entendre et ne pas avoir mal sur le dessus des oreilles aprs coute prolonge.
Ensuite, si vous l’utilisez la maison, il est un peu dommage que le bluetooth se coupe plus de 10 m en zone dgage (5 m avec les murs, les portes, etc). C’est une peu court jeune homme ! propos : s’il tait moins cher, j’en achterai un pour chaque membre de la famille. C’est parfait pour les jeunes gens, qui restent ” l’coute” et, dans la mesure du possible, connects aux humains qui les entourent.
Ich habe merkwrdig geformte Ohreingnge. Es gibt keine in-Ohr-Stpsel, die passen. In den letzten Jahren habe ich verschiedene Modelle ausprobiert, natrlich auch mit den unterschiedlichen Silikonstpseln in unterschiedlichen Gren. Nichts hlt. (Kleine Bemerkung am Rande: Whrend einer lauten Nacht im Hotel hatte ich mal mal Ohropax probiert. Aber sogar die sind nach wenigen Minuten aus den Ohren gefallen.)
Ich hatte die Shokz schon mehrfach gesehen und ernsthaft ber einen Kauf nachgedacht. Aber knapp 140 Euro fand ich dann doch etwas viel. Dieses Jahr waren sie beim Prime Day im Angebot fr 109 Euro und ich habe zugeschlagen.
Natrlich habe ich sie gleich ausprobiert. Und ich bin sehr positiv beeindruckt! Sie liegen bequem vor den Ohren. Die Brillenbgel stren berhaupt nicht. Und ich kann Musik oder Podcasts hren und dabei noch meine Umgebung wahrnehmen. Letztens musste ich mehrere Stunden Auto fahren. Dabei konnte ich die Shokz tragen und trotzdem den Umgebungsgeruschen folgen und so sicher am Straenverkehr teilnehmen.
Ja, die Klangqualitt entspricht nicht hochwertigen in-Ohr-Kopfhrern. Aber das habe ich auch nicht erwartet. Fr den tglichen Gebrauch sind sie aber fr mich die ideale Lsung. Daher von mir 5 Sterne!
Parfait pour moi
J’ai acquis ce casque dans le but de remplacer des oreillettes. Je ne suis pas un spcialiste du son, mais je suis trs satisfait de ce casque et c’est agrable d’entendre les bruits de l’entourage tout en coutant sa musique et c’est largement suffisant lors d’une pratique sportive. Je l’utilise la plupart du temps en salle — vlo, elliptique et course pieds sur le tapis — sans aucun problme.
En plus, je l’ai essay lors d’une sortie vlo. La diffrence avec des oreillettes, qui coupent les bruits de l’environnement, ce casque me laisse couter ma musique en toute scurit. La limite tant 30 35 km/h o le vent prend le dessus.
Le casque est confortable, lger, le placement se fait naturellement et on l’oublie vite. Il passe trs facilement sous le casque vlo et tient bien en place mme si on porte des lunettes.
Je le recommande vivement, surtout en ce qui concerne la scurit l’extrieur.

Was surprised how good these were. Really great to not be in the ears and stayed put whilst running. Sound quality’s good but not superb – perfectly ample for me.
Perfect replaceme
A perfect replacement for my old and broken Aftershock headphones. These OpenRun are lighter, more comfatable, last longer between charges and are easier to charge with the magnetic charging plug a socket.
Sound quality is good although they may not be so great at reproducing the lower registers as the previous model, it is dfficult to tell without a direct comparison. This is not apparrent whilst on the move only when listening whilst stationary and concentrating on the sound.
Hear what's going on around you
I use these for outdoor exercise and the odd phone call.
Ideal for road running or cycling as you’re able to hear the world around you; traffic, sirens, horns, other runners or whatever. I’ve run with in-ear headphones for years, but no longer. Rather than being in an isolated bubble separated from my surroundings I am aware of what’s going on around me and feel much safer.
I’ve not tried cheaper brands or alternatives but for me the sound quality is good, battery life so far has been consistent with the spec, and yes they’ve got wet and have coped admirably. I recommend them, and would buy again if lost or damaged.
I’d agree with other reviews that if you’re after a lot of bass, or ear drum busting volume you’re going to be disappointed – but these are not audiophile or studio headphones. In the same way a Ferrari won’t tow your caravan – it’s not made for that, and you’re looking at the wrong product if that’s what you’re after.

Noise cancellation is not the purpose of these headphones. If that is what you want, you are in the wrong place to buy them. The sound quality is very good for bone-conducting headphones. They are sweat resistant and the battery lasts a really long time. I got one for myself and my spouse. He brought it to work and listened to things on it all day and it still hadn’t run out of power. I listened to mine for several hours as well and it didn’t run out of power. I’m yet to experience any problems with battery, connectivity, etc. I like the magnetic charger. It attaches pretty securely. My ears are tiny (4cm) and most bluetooth headphones fall off of my head. These stay on very well. I am also autistic and hyper-sensitive to the way things feel on my head. These cause me a little bit of pain over several hours of use, but it is very very mild compared to wearing any other type of headphone (for me.) The tiniest bit of pressure on my temples is enough to cause pain. These have been pretty outstanding as far as comfort goes in that regard, and slight rotation/ adjustment of positioning is enough to fix the issue for me. My husband has a very large head, and these fit him well, and he has not reported any pain. I have a small head and these fit me as well.
Some of the lower tones from low-speaking voices are not as audible if there is a lot of noise going on around you and it can take a bit of adjustment to figure out what positions work best for you, but turning the volume up until I could feel my head buzz a bit made them audible. Be wary of listening too loudly for too long as long term exposure, even to these, can cause hearing loss. Sound is clear, which is nice. I’m no audiophile, though.
Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Exactly as the many reviews say. Never going to be the best sound, but certainly good. Compact, discreet, comfy, and still able to hear what is going on around you.
