So I recently purchased a new phone and was concerned I would no longer be able to use my apple car play which is connected to by usb. So I thought I’d give this product a try.
It worked great, it connected to the car and charged at the same time. Everything thing I wanted.
Also as these items are versatile I’ll be using them with my old power banks and usb plugs. I’m grateful that a new phone means I just needed this adapted not a whole new set of adapters etc. Highly recommend people try it.
These are great for converting the new IPhone leads into the old USB plug sockets. The connection when connecting to my laptop (for itunes transfers) can be a bit hit and miss.

I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G, which annoying only comes with a charging cable and no plug. Even more annoyingly, the lead they give you is only type c so unless you already have the correct plug then you cannot charge your brand new phone!
Luckily these are on Amazon for next day delivery so I can just use this adapter to plug straight into my USB extension lead.
Handy pack of 3 so if you lose 1 or want to keep a spare in the office or car. Also, good value for money as it is cheaper than the plug.
These are great little USB-C to USB-A adapters – great value, 5.49 at the time of review, and all 3 worked perfectly with data transfer and power.
The product I bought did not come with one of these as standard so I had to purchase separately. They are tiny so it is useful having 3 in case you misplace one. I chose red for the same reason – easy to spot.

I really like that these are inexpensive and they arrived quickly. Why does technology move so quickly and then make the consumer have to find a solution that the phone marketers are not themselves providing the solution. It isn’t as if they don’t put enough parts in the box when the phone is purchased!

I bought these for my new Apple Watch series 7. It only come with a USC cable, no plug so I bought these expecting the charging time would not be as good as with a USC plug. I was wrong it is just as good 45 mins to 80% full charge.
I was looking for a printer cable that in cooperated a USB3 (Blue) plug for the printer port, but it came with a USB C plug on the other end, rather than a USB2 plug.

Have used to adapt my Jabra USB-C headset from my old employer’s WFH set up to my new employers set up (slightly less new laptop with no USB C port, only USB A). Headset now connects and still works! Hooray!
Got these after I read the reviews, I recently purchased a new iPhone only to discovered that the are using the USB-c and as before it no longer included with your iPhone purchase nor is the headset very disappointing by apple. Anyways I could go on and on about Apple, but we’re here for this, received them in good time, package well and items in great condition. Guess what instead of buying a new charge from apple, get yourself these it’s cheaper, great quality and gets the job done. Would high recommend
Ok, bought these when I was a bit bored and sitting around off work with not much to do. They arrived very quickly and were well packaged. They look nice and sturdy and just how I expected them to look. As for performance……..no idea!! Never tried them! They lay on they kitchen worktop for a few days then my wife moaned on about the mess so I put them in my drawer ……. you know, the drawer that is full of little odds and ends you buy off amazon on a whim and never use. I’m sure one day I will get round to using them………. mind you I also have a 3 pack of VHS video tapes unopened in there too. Anyway, happy with my purchase, no complaints! So if you want some adapters these are probably a good buy….. go for it I say!!!
Great to charge my Apple Macbook. Unfortunately, it did not work to connect my Microsoft Surface Pro 6 to my Dell screen, but I think that is an error on Microsoft as the USB connected with my Macbook and Dell screen.
I purchased these because I recently purchased a new phone for my partner, which came with a cable that was double ended USB C. This adapter has since been the perfect match in allowing her to charge her new “toy”, lol. To get three in the bag (which I hadn’t actually noticed when ordering) was just epic too, because it means that we can have one connected to my computer permanently for when data needs to be backed up etc… Would highly recommend 😉
Perfect solution when Apple have decided to stop putting a power adapter in the box at the same time as they changed the usb so you can’t even use your old plug ! They come in a pack of three ,well packaged and seem sturdy so far. Wondered if I needed three but quickly realised one to charge my phone in the car , one at home and a spare one in my bag . Had a double ended memory stick with full size USB one end and USB C the other end. The full size USB end had disintegrated as it was made of thin plastic. The USB C end was metal. This adapter meant I could plug the USB C and continue to use it in a TV or computer. The adapter is solidly made and works well. You get 3 in a pack.
The new iPad charging leads did not fit into my USB charging outlets. These easy to use adapters mean they are not obsolete. As technology progresses it is great that adapters like this can save expensive socket changes.

Using this converter it’s possible to use a USB A power adapter with a USB C device. The converter is well made, robust and discreet. It is not a power adapter in its own right, just a socket converter – and in a triple pack is excellent value for money.
This did as expected. Converts a USB – C to standard usb so you can use your plugs from your previous iPhone chargers.
Did not notice any reduction in effectiveness of charging
Connectors do what they are designed for: connect USB-C plug to USB-A socket. No compromise on transfer or charging speeds in comparison to using a good quality cable with the same connector type. Connector fit is good, nice and tight, no wobbles. Time well tell on how robust they really are. Happy so far.
I bought a new iPhone which came with charging cable only ( Didn’t realise it wasn’t USB) I had numerous plugs and cables and wasn’t concerned. I thought it was a good idea saving waste. I couldn’t charge my phone. I had to buy a new plug and then came across these little adapters which did the trick. I haven’t timed how long it takes to charge but I’m more than happy with them. Apple are saving money but think of the waste plugs and cables which you can’t use and all the packaging for items to charge your phone.
If you laptop/PC does not have a USB Connection then this is very useful to have especially with older computers which do not this type of connection. Just connect to USB and then connect your phone to the adapter.

So these units arrived, well packed and utterly intact. The problem is that when they were connected to the Apple cable, they failed to allow any “charge” to be transmitted at all – the phone entirely failed to charge when these were used. I can only assume that it is because they are not manufactured by Apple. On the plus side, they work with every other type of cable and Android device.
The iPhone 13 only ships with a USB-C to lightning cable. This is the perfect add-on to get USB to lightning at a fraction of the price of a new lightning to USB cable.
So since the world is changing to usb type C at a very slow rate you get issues where new phones or devices come with USB C both ends but laptops and computers only have 1 usb c port. So these little adapters are perfect if you have older devices that don’t have usb C

Happy with the adapters, it means i can still use the charging cables for my old ipad as i had purchased the 2 and 3 metre cables which were not cheap, also environmentally i don’t want to keep replacing charging cables with every new product so this was the perfect solution.

Just purchased an iPhone 12 and found that the included charger cable doesn’t fit in my usb plugs. These adapt the included cable to usb and now it fits in my old usb plugs. Apple say they don’t include plugs any way to save the environment. Yeah, right! Well include one of these cheap adapters in each pack when you sell your very expensive iPhones!

I bout it because I purchased a new iPhone and a fast charge plug because the usb lead does not fit a fast charge plug the adapter works perfectly but if you are not using a fast charge plug then you do not need to buy this but yes they are good and will come in handy if needed

This item does what it says. I can now charge my new phone with the charging lead it came with in a normal USB charger as didn’t have the more expensive USB C charger. The price is good and it is sturdy.
Does exactly what it is advertised as doing. A very useful accessory now that Apple have moved away from a standard USB on their ‘lightning’ connector leads. Works well in all circumstances I have tried it so far.

Well this product doesn’t work with a MagSafe charger, so please be very aware of that.
I ended up giving these away to staff that just had standard lightning cables, and this product works great on them.

I wasn’t impressed that I needed to buy an additional plug charger from Apple (you only get the cable with iphone 12). More a knock at Apple – no I don’t fall for the “leaving a charger plug out of the box makes the box smaller so we can get more iphones in the container which is better for the environment” argument. Why? Because we then have to buy the plug separately which comes in another box in it’s own container. We are not idiots. Be honest and say it is so we can make more money because we don’t make enough already.
Anyway. why “was” I very pleased with this. Because I stupidly left the charger plugged in by my bed and my daughter stole it and left the whole ensemble at a friends. Top Tip: encourage daughter to leave home asap.
Lovely that they are pink and match my phone. Main thing is though that I needed an adaptor for the car and these in their 3 packs are ideal for unexpected charging up situations.
After finding out the iPhone 12 Pro Max had a different charger cable & plug (the plug is no longer supplied with a new handset) I was left with the choice of having to pay 20’for a plug that’s compatible with the C-Type cable or spend 6 on an extension that fits over a normal iPhone cable.
These extensions are excellent value for money and do exactly what they state they can do, what’s also good is it doesn’t affect the charging speed either

I recently changed from using Android phones to an iPhone. My new phone came with a lightning to USB C cable and no plug so there was no way I could charge my new phone. These adapters mean I can charge the iPhone using my existing USB A chargers of which I have many. My phone still charges quickly as I use 2.4A connectors but this will not be as fast as having the Apple certified chargers. Three for 7.00 represent good value for money.

What with more usb-c devices and cables, I needed an adapt to connect then to older usb2/3 ports. These fit the bill, good quality so far. and no issue to report. One thing to note is they are not usb3!! so expect usb2 speeds if you are using these with SSD!
I had the misfortune to have ordered the wrong usb type leads from Amazon, but rather than return for the correct ones I ordered these connections to rectify the problem. Makes these leads now more versatile.

I had to buy these after my son’s IPhone 12 came without a new charger. These arrived quicker than expected and were very good value for money. Apple have changed the connector on the iPad and it no longer fits a standard USB socket. This neat connector overcomes the problem so I can now charge my iPad anywhere there is a USB socket. I also like the idea that this connector is available in a range of colours.

Absolutely quality product, allows me to connect my Samsung A71 charger to my computer via a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port to either charge my phone OR to upload/download media from the device to the laptop, or the other way around. The only issue, is that when charging the phone from the laptop via the adapter, the ‘FAST CHARGE’ function does not apply, and would rather charge like the older, standard charging solutions. Otherwise, it is a very fast, and convenient way to extract data from your phone, or other devices. 10/10 for me 🙂
Nothing to dislike. Apple don’t send out new leads with new phones so needed adapters. Apple say they are avoiding waste by not enclosing a lead.
Great price for this packet of 3! This is what you need if you have just purchased a new Apple iPad 2020 and realise that the lightning cable only fits with the plug provided. Now with with one of these little bad boys attached you can fit into any usb plug in the home or at work……so happy!

A good looking adapter that does the job. The only criticism that I would make would be that I would have liked the fit to have been a bit tighter plugging into the MacBook. this would mean that the adapter would remain in it’s USB slot when I pulled out the cable. No big deal just a thought.
Great product. Apple through mobile phone supplier do not supply a plug to charge new phone! Existing phone charger wrong size for latest usb . This does the trick together with the right plug for usb to go into.
So far this product has performed very well. Following the purchase of a new iPad I was looking for a male USB A connection that would work with a USB C connection so that I could use my Apple lead. This connection links the two perfectly and I can also use it to charge my iPad direct from a plug socket USB female connection.
Not only do you get three of them for a modest amount but they are well packaged, well made and well designed.
What particularly caught my admiration was that someone had really thought about the practicality of the design. Instead of the usual smooth oval casing there is a tiny grip on each edge. Which makes insertion and removal that bit easier. Great.
The product itself is well made, however it doesn’t provide the the same amount of power from from the USB-c that it should. Takes an iPad more time to charge and if your working on the iPad during charging the adapter does not provide enough power to charge, as it goes down instead of up.
Good product and works great to connect to android auto in the car however the connection from the phone wire to this adapter is flimsy so I used a small amount of black electrical tape and it works great.

You’d thought there is a type-c function in the type c adapter. You expect wrong. This does not work like type-c adapter at all it a power adapter USB to type-c. Only good for charging
So in short, do not expect blistering transfer speeds to to be able to connect your monitor up via these but for occasional data transfer use they are ideal and my rating reflects that you do get 3 and the seller has been clear about their limitations which is still sadly all too rare these days.
