I wanted a cheap dvd player, so that I could watch dvds while my husband watches tv. (our tastes in what to watch are not very similar). All the cheaper dvd players had small screens and poor reviews, so I took the plunge and paid more, to get a larger screen and an easy system.
This player is wonderful, very easy to set up, almost plug and play. When playing a dvd, the system remembers where you broke off, and restarts at that point. I also tried a music cd, did not have to alter any settings, it just played immediately once it read the disc. Good sound quality, does my music justice.
The system comes with a very useful remote control, but can easily be used without, since all essential buttons are on the unit itself. I find it takes approximately an hour and a half to fully charge while in use, and fully charged, I got 6 hours playing time on battery alone.
All in all, it is all I could have hoped for, and comes with very good customer service.

The player was easy to set up, the instructions were easy to follow. I bought the player to use for my keep fit DVDs, I have no tech in the room I use for this. So this was the perfect solution, to use, easy to put out of the way, when not in use.

This is the first time I have purchased a 30Ifun product.in this case a portable DVD player.Having used it now for a few weeks I can say i’m very pleased with its performance.It is easy to use the picture is good and the sound excellent. The only slight drawback is there are no earphone’s supplied with it.Not a big problem as I would think most people including myself have a pair at home anyway.

This dvd player is good, but the sound is pretty poor you can hardly hear it however it does have some good features I like the way it is able to swivel so you can watch your video from any angle and the picture quality is okay but nothing to sing and dance about it has some other interesting features overall it is fairly good portable dvd playe

now to pros and cons of the device itself.
pros:
plays pretty much everything i’ve chucked at it (within stated limits)
plays a wide range of popular 8 bit games
decent battery life
nice big screen
sound is not bad as long as you dont put it too high (fine on headphones)
cons:
needs a very specific joypad ( an ie geek PJ-1)
display needs to be carefully placed for a perfect picture
if viewing video / pics from sd the card sticks out a lot so too easy to knock, would be far better if it was mounted further in or on a push to release fitting.
it’s heavy, not a problem unless its on your knees, although with no handle or even handgrips you’ll need a grip like a vice to not drop it unless you use a carry case (i used an 18″ laptop case as that will hold accessories comfortably along with the player.
game emulation is a bit slow (to be polite, even a certain monkey based climbing game could use a frameskip)
overall its highly recommended especially for watching dvd, vcd, downloaded xvid or even as a photo frame when folded up (running from battery or mains), less so for games and if you don’t have somewhere to place it.

Better than expected large Portable DVD playe
Great bit of kit with fab screen resolution and sound quality (can go really, really loud). Screen is also bigger than I envisioned. Easy to use and love that I can hook it up to my tv as don’t have a DVD player. Settings easy to navigate with out looking at instructions and impressed with the swivel motion on the screen
Two slight reasons for not giving 5 Stars: The player is a bit noisier than expected and had to raise sound and move further away for it to be less distracting. 2) it’s a lot heavier than expected. I don’t mind too much as long as the battery life consistently lives up to the 6 hours battery life.

I am a bit of a Techno numpty but this product seems straight forward and can be used by mains power, car battery power and through the TV. I can now take this to my daughters and play a Letter Land DVD to my granddaughter…. so pleased
Bought this for Xmas and it was a great purchase. The screen swivels around so the screen / dvd can be seen from any angle. It’s a large screen which is good and so simple to use. This a a good laptop sized item
Good machine; better than expected
It is not a picture quality of Blue Ray but still very acceptable. Sound is OK but could be better. Plastic used to build the machine feels cheap and only time will tell how long it will last before serious damage. Having said that, the machine is very user friendly and I am happy with it. Delivery from Amazon is quick ( and arrived one day earlier ) and delivery tracking is excellent. All in all , I am happy with the whole experience.

My son is in hospital and is now enjoying his dvd collection.
This is the second model I have purchased, this time going for a more vibrant purple colour. I had issues with the disc tray coming off and needed replacement parts which the seller sent at no charge. Unfortunately the same tray broke for a second time which spurred me to purchase another portable DVD player. I have kept with the same model and manufacturer simply because regardless of the issues, I still think its the best player on the market for this price. The screen is big and looks great when looking at it head-on and the sound goes surprisingly loud. However, it does lose out on five stars for the delicate disc tray which I expect to brake again after heavy use plus the complicated and specific file formats required of video files when using USB/card. Still haven’t figured out an acceptable file format/codec that it will play. Otherwise, it really is a great portable DVD player.

I do like this DVD player as is but wished it could play all formats.
Sound is very clear… And very loud I don’t use the remote control at present as still very new and the player seems to take some time to charge – it did not charge with my battery pack though… Which is a big disappointment to me as we do live in a society where portability should now be an accessment in today’s times.
It takes on average 5hrs to charge for me via plug! I like it, the screen size is fantastic. My son has now come home for a while and as liberated my DVD player – missing my favourite player now!!!

The screen quality is excellent and the stereo sound from the 2 speakers more than acceptable for a device in this price point. We like that it supports multiple formats and comes complete with car charger and av connectors. The tilt & swivel screen is a useful feature. ok the product was really nice but the box had damage to it i was very angry with the delivery man when i unboxed it there was a slight crack on the bottom of the player, lucky enough it worked ok, but its not good enough when these delivery people are so stupid and show no respect for the package

Nice big clear screen, easy to use , indoors sound is good. In car use needed a headset for the sound but picture was still good in sunlight. Battery life still to be tested, not used the remote yet or USB functions

Bought this specifically to use when I go fishing for a few days.
It’s the same size as a laptop,so it’s perfect viewing size and very easy to use.my only problem with it,is that you can’t check the battery level status,but there’s a low battery warning icon that flashes when it’s getting low.
I have been very pleased with this DVD player, the screen is a good size and the quality of the picture is very good, there’s a good range of adaptors including car charger adaptor and AV cable. The controls on the player are a bit limited but the remote has the full range of features, I do find it’s quite heavy particularly if like me you use it on your lap for long periods although other items of the same size are a similar weight. I have not used this manufacturer before so it was a bit of a gamble but so far I have been pleasantly surprised and would recommend.

Nice big screen and the player is easy to operate. Pleased to have got it in purple but a tad disappointed with what appear to be chrome effect plastic buttons. Would be much nicer if they were made of chromed metal. Picture quality is good; sound quality is OK. I’m not sure if it can be tweaked at all. Overall i like this portable player, though I’ve had it less than 24 hours.

Knockout price and very good-looking
The unit is hefty and solid. The picture is crystal clear. Docked one star as the sound from the integral speakers is really low-fi, but this can be circumvented by using headphones, which makes a huge improvement. Also there is a certain amount of creaking and grunting as the discs load or tracks change, but this is not detectable when films are running. I had reservations in buying from an unknown manufacturer, but the size of screen I wanted (eyesight is not so good) just wasn’t available from any makers I had heard of. This is incredibly good for the price. I haven’t got round to using the remote control and may not bother; works perfectly as is.

Happy with every feature of the portable DVD player, and am impressed with the size of the unit, after only ever owning a 7 inch type before. The SD card function is an added bonus as well. I can now see the hundreds of pictures stored on my dozens of cards over several years – makes a pleasant change from my camera’s viewfinder!

Initially I was delighted with this machine. Good size screen, nice clear picture, sound is good etc. BUT for some unknown reason all of the screen notifications have reverted to Chinese from English! Now I don’t know how to rectify this. Has anyone else had this issue? I really didn’t want to have to send it back as this is the 2nd one I’ve had, the first one had to be returned for faulty speakers :(( * UPDATE* The seller has answered my question very quickly and were very helpful. Thankfully they guided me through the Chinese settings and all is back to English! Very impressed.

I have been reviewing buying a portable DVD player for a while and decided on this one. I wanted a player that had a clear screen with good definition and audio. I am happy to say that this player met both the preceding criteria with ease, and both the picture and sound both are adjustable to suit your personal taste. The player is well presented and designed and easy to use. The ease of use is enhanced due to the fact that it comes with a clear and concise instruction manual. The manual has easy to follow instructions, and trouble shooting guide should you need it.
The manual is also large enough to be able to read.
The after sales service and technical support is excellent, should one need additional advice.
I am a person who’s vision and hearing are slightly impaired and this Player is of ample quality to enable me to watch the films I want.

The player is brilliant,it is very slimline and the quality of the player is amazing.
Brilliant wide screen DVD player. Works well with normal home socket and in the car.
For me priority was that it works in car and it does. It has internal battery which easily last 2-3 movies around 5-6 hours. Also came with car cigaret lightener cable which makes it suitable for long journeys.
It plays from dvd , usb and SD card as well. When using usb it stated that it supports upto 32gb usb memory stick so need to keep in mind.
The other part need attention that this is wide big display and my old smaller DVD player holder could not fit so need to order 17″ DVD player holder if wish to have it mounted on back of car seat.
On side it also has 3.5mm headphone port and can be listened threw headphones without interrupting adults or other passengers.
DVD player display rotates so can be hanged on back of car seat and charging cable quite long even can reach from front lightener to back of car seat.
Overall great wide DVD player in good price range.

My old portable DVD player broke some time ago. I work making films in my day job and my for my YouTube channel. In my day job I have to put the films on DVD, and they play back fine on the computer but not all DVD players play them so I need to test them before I give them out to people. A good DVD player is an invaluable piece of my ‘kit’. What I have never considered before was getting one that had charge in it- what a revelation. Anyway, down to this … I can’t praise it enough. I’ve already been able to take it with me to work (because it’s portable) it has a good size screen all the same. The screen turns to which is useful also. This has an easy to use control panel with larger buttons which I need because I need things to be simple, even without the remote you can use the DVD player easily. Don’t do what I did and fail to notice the on/off switch in the side … it’s right by the power cable socket. The sound quality is surprisingly good, my DVD’s are music and organ and speech, the player handled all very well without distortion. The picture quality is decent too, you can adjust colour and all that. I noted that there’s also a plug that you can use in the car or caravan if that is what you do, it’s not something I use personally, but it’s worth a mention.
Plus I was impressed with the packaging. The special bubble envelope inside the box is worth keeping for the protection of the dvd even if you throw the box away.
