    So far, so good!
    I love this thing.

Easy setup out of box, cord and battery options. Lots of functionality of you care to read the manual but I’ve been happy with the factory setup. Pleasantly surprised with semi-weighted feel and the volume sensitivity.

Perfect for a beginner like me.

There are limited voices so keep that in mind.
The sound produced is nice, HOWEVER, the lows on the organ are almost silent in comparison to the high pitches
The weighted keys don’t feel as authentic as the real piano but it is okay.
A Piano like this should sell for between 100 and 150 in my opinion based on what I can do.

Also, there is no 5mm jack for normal earphones

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI am new to the piano and taking my first steps to learn the craft. My Alesis keyboard sounds just how I would want it to. The sound is beyond what I would have expected for the price. The instrument is high quality for a relatively low budget, and is great for a beginner.

Works perfectly + pc support for learning
The title pretty much says it all.

The software that you get a 3 month free trial for was receiving the input from the keyboard without me having to do anything, other than plug in the USB B to USB cable.

    Good Keyboard with Usable Features....
This is an excellent value keyboard aimed at beginners and above players….
I was looking for something lightweight and portable for gigging…..with a small number of usable sounds and minimal ‘bells and whistles’.
At this price point it will not have the durability of a professional instrument of 1000+ but for what it is looks well made with a comfortable key action
The option for AA battery power is a bonus……
    Very pleased with this purchase……

You'll need a pedal for a nicer sound
    PERFECT AND LIGHTWEIGHT
    SOUNDS AMAZING WITH HEADPHONES..
PLUGGING INTO AN AMP WILL BLOW THE SPEAKERS BUT A GREAT KEYBOARD FOR ANYONE AT ALL LEVELS..IT IS WHAT IT IS AND THAT’S A PIANO TO TUCK AWAY.

    Fabulous
This piano is brilliant. It is rather long, but of course it is a full size piano. It’s not heavy and is easy to carry if necessary. It has a good tone and several features.

    Cheap 88 note keyboard
This keyboard is great for the money. 179. Lightweight and as small as can be. The piano mode sounds great. The other sounds average in my opinion. Back to playing after many years. The one thing that’s not so good is the key action of the black notes. Need more force the further back you play them. This I feel is only a problem if you want to play some serious classical music. In the future I will consider getting the Roland FP-10 but it costs about 3 times more. Hope this helps.

    Very nice indeed.
This is a serious piece of kit, it has weighted keys and the acoustic piano sound is superb, pretty much indistinguishable from the real thing, the other voices are similarly impressive.

Every bit as good as others at twice the price, I would recommend it in an instant.

    Good value for price
This is the 2nd digital piano I’ve bought, and I don’t regret it. Sounds great, has sustain pedal support and a bunch of adjustable settings, like types of reverb and levels of touch sensitivity. Great for being relatively cheap.

    Excellent piece of ki
Beginner here I think this is absolutely fantastic, really good quality for the price (I got it when it was on sale for around 150) I don’t think I would buy it at full price as a beginner, I would see this more of an upgrade but as I said for the price I did pay it’s well worth the money!

    Keep Practicing
This has a good realistic piano sound and is perfect if you are tight on space and having the benefit of 88 keys which is always good to have if you are a beginner.

    Great beginners keyboard
I bought this as a present for my wifes birthday as she had expressed an interest in learning an instrument.
I am really happy with this keyboard as a starter instrument for her. The sound is good, there is a jack for headphone connection for when she wants to practice during a busy time.
She tells me that the keys are responsive and the pressure feels authentic to the pianos she played at home as a youngster, and that it is easy to use and intuitive.
I spread the payments across 5 months as an experiment (i have not done this with Amazon before) and found it a very convenient way of doing things.
This is a definite recommend from me.

    Perfect piano beginners
I think that this Alexis is perfect for piano beginners. The sound is not too digital and the semi-weight keys help to get used to the real piano. Very easy to use! Not too many functionalities, but again for a complete beginner or for who wants to play it on an amatorial level is more than enough!
I am very happy with this purchase!

    Good for beginners
For the price(at the time 179.99) pretty good. I Wanted to learn classical pieces and not spend 500++ on a digital keyboard.

Big difference from a small 40 something key keyboard I was using. Noticed the difference in weight of the keys(semi weighted) after a couple minutes of exercises. The sensitivity is fairly good but probably could be better. Haven’t any desire to use the USB-B port but it is there

    Pros:
+ Pricepoint for full 88 key
    + Keys are Semi-weighted
+ Heavy with a decent quality material feel
    + Has USB-B connectivity(No cable provided)
+ includes stickers for keys(only white tho)
+ Included a 3 months free trial of Simply Piano(The app that’s advertised on almost every damn piano themed YouTube video)
    + Speakers are good quality.

    Cons:
    – Limited optional tones.
    – Not super sensitive.
    – Connection’s are loose.
    – Power cable length(less only a meter long).
    – Only semi weighted
    – Stickers wear after 2 and a half months of daily use.(I suggest buying a key guide that sits behind the keys)

    I love my Alesis Recital
I was looking for a digital piano to learn to play — and on Alesis Recital I found it — it is still a long way yet for me to be able to play it but I have the patient and the enthusiasm to achieve this goal
